Service is friendly here. I had their kale drink and it was very refreshing and sweet, even with zero sugar. It's on par with Heytea's kale drink I think. The natural sweetness is surprising and delicious. I also tried my friend's choice of Phoenix oolong lemon tea, but it seemed like regular tea to me. My other friend said the color and taste were different from her first experience. There may be some inconsistencies there? Overall, it seems like their veggie drinks are the star, rather than the milkteas/potentially fruit teas. My friends have been obsessed with Taning, and I'll have to return to try out their other drinks. They have a giveaway going on if you submit a Google or Yelp review. They also have another Instagram giveaway for their pony charm. The line moves fairly quick and the drink wait time wasn't bad. Avocado pecan smoothie - don't underestimate this drink as it blew everyone's mind away (all my friends that tried it loved it). Not a fan of pecan? Same. But oddly, it gives a satisfying nutty crunch and it just completes the drink. No wonder it's their top 2 drink. Also, who doesn't like a shaker bottle as their cup? Wampi preserved plum lemon tea - idk how to describe this drink. Very Asian lemonade forward and that's a good thing. Sweet and citrusy lemonade with a bit of savory preserved plum. All I can say is when I'm biting into the little bits, it gives me a virgin mojito taste. Side quest: as I was waiting for my drink order, I saw a gift voucher card on their counter stating "with any in store purchase + google / yelp reviews, you can redeem one free taning vinyl toy". I took that as ONE review on either platform. When asked, the worker provided the choice of a fridge magnet, a drink sleeve, or their last vinyl pink toy was available. My bf already gave a review at that point and I asked for the pink one (not a fan of pink but I just wanted their figurine so I didn't mind it) and she said come back up after I finish my review because apparently we will need 2 reviews for it. Little did I know, after I finished my review, the worker told my bf they actually can't give the pink vinyl toy out as it was not for sale or something. I ordered the Frangipani Lemon Jasmine Green Tea and 2 of their Guava drinks (Strawberry and Myrobalan Lemon). Depending on what sugar level you order, the drink can be slightly "watery", which is indicative of the real fruit juice that they use. The only downside was the longer wait time of about 45 minutes (on a Saturday night). Discovered this place through another foodie creators account. Was excited to try this place as it's Tanings first location in the US from Guangzhou China! I came in on the weekend and placed my order around 15 min after opening. I ordered their apple & kale fiber drink with their pistachio & avocado oat matcha drink. Unfortunately receiving my drinks was the worst part. They put my apple and fiber drink on the counter around 15 after ordering without announcing it... 40 min later I had been waiting and when I asked about my drinks they gave me that first drink that was barely even cold anymore since it had been sitting on the counter so long. Lastly I received my pistachio and avocado drink which took an hour to come out. Multiple orders (20+) after my order came out and I was still waiting. The person at the counter kept telling the employees multiple times as well to make my second drink. I think their order of making drinks is a bit disorganized and definitely needs so improvement and new implementations for speedier and more organized order prep. The apple and fiber drink (7/10) was very sweet even though I selected regular as that's what recommended and I ended up adding more water and ice to make it more balanced. Their pistachio avocado matcha oat drink merely has matcha. As a matcha lover this drink really shouldn't even have matcha in the name as there was like one drizzle of what looked like matcha (no hint of matcha taste at all) but it was a pretty good drink (8/10) just not a matcha drink. I don't know if I would come here often maybe once in a while but definitely felt discouraged to revisit due to the wait time. There's good amount of seating but would not want to be inside when it's packed and busy.
