Another tea place to try checked off the list. We tried 2 of the signature drinks. The Ruby Guava Strawberry Lemon Tea and the Myrobalan Lemon Tea. Both were pretty good. There was only one ordering kiosk so it took a really long time even with not too many people. But the drinks were ready pretty quickly. Drinks come out quickly or you can order online in advance and pick them up. Took a risk today bc I'm not a fruit tea person but Taning has changed my mind. Walk in on a cold new year day and there was a line. The line moved fairly quickly but definitely busy due to some of the drink needs to be hand smash. The wait was a bit long for the fruit tea. I got green grape + kale tea with 100% sugar to make sure I judge it fairly. It was not super sweet for it to be 100% but I'm not a sweet tooth person so I might try no sugar next time. There was only 2 option for my fruit tea either 100 or 0 sugar. The owner was very nice seeing us looking for our drinks so she came to help. Phoenix oolong milk tea was good with 70% sugar. They also have merch to purchase. Even though it's a soft opening, it's was already getting busy and popular. Overall, drinks 9/10, the design is a very cute shaker too! The juice was lacking. My boss said it tasted watered down. Would I get it again, probably not. Can get better elsewhere. Now the wrap. Oh boy where do I start? Based on the ingredients above, I thought, "hmm, this should be fairly tasty". I open it and looks completely disgusting (way different than the picture). It looks like someone just thew it together, closed it and smashed. The attempt at toasting it was a fail and tasted more stale than anything. I also did NOT taste the pickled onions, garlic or vinaigrette, all some of my fave ingredients. I was forcing myself to eat it but just threw most of it away. Shame. First and last time getting something here.
