This Chinese bubble tea store is from Guangzhou, China. It was founded in 2017. This is store 816 and the first in Canada, with the grand opening on 2023-12-11. They are also in various countries like Australia,  UK, Brazil, etc. TaNing is Chinese for "crushed lemon". They actually crush the lemon onsite (you can see them do it) and make bottles of their lemon juice. They promote their drinks as plant-based fresh lemon tea. The lemons are found at 1,392 metres in altitude. Because I am not fond of the sourness of lemon, I could have chosen alternatives like their milk tea and Rich Mango Coconut Sago ($8.99). However, I wanted to try their lemon flavour, so I ordered the Sea Coconut Lemon Tea ($7.99), which has less lemon, and the sea coconut is stronger in taste. It even has coconut meat cubes in it, which was fresh and fragrant. The drink was good, with a tolerable amount of sourness. Every drink comes with a little whale toy, coloured lemon. Every cup holds 1 litre. The customer service was good. All their drinks are low in sugar and calories with no artificial flavours. All their lemons, teas, and sugar are imported from Guangzhou. They use Perfume Lemon, which they make onsite and store in a bottle. Perfume lemon has a stronger fragrance and is less sour. It only consists of lemon and sugar. Because it has no preservatives, it can only be stored for 3 days. There is a modern hip vibe in the store with, of course, lemon colour. There is an open kitchen where you can watch them prepare drinks. There is medium-loud modern upbeat music playing in the background. There are 5 small tables at the front of the store. There is a VIP loyalty card where you buy 10 and get 1 free. During the grand opening period (2023-12-11 to 17), if you post your experience on Instagram, holding Fantuan Delivery's souvenir and tag @fantuan_on, you can get a $3 voucher immediately. They also sell Mahjong Egg Puffs ($9.99) in a Mahjong set. They are mini waffles. There is free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2023-399

Visited with a friend a few weeks ago on a weekday evening. It was empty during our visit. Ordered: Bitter Melon Jasmine Green Lemon Tea $7.99 + aloe $1.00 * 50% sugar less ice - it wasn't sweet but wasn't overly sour and the bitter melon wasn't too bitter. I really liked the drink and would reorder it or even make it! Mahjong Egg Puffs with Condensed Milk $9.99 - it was OK, the only special part was the shape. Literally any other place could make it better. It took them a little too long to prepare our order considering there were only 2 people ahead of us (10+ min). They also both took breaks while they were preparing our order. The tables were crusty dusty and the washroom was SO dirty it looked like someone took a huge # 3 and missed and it hit everywhere else, and like it was un-maintained for years although they seem to be newly opened. I'd never come back just because of that washroom, which is a shame because their drinks were pretty good.

This beverage shop has quite good quality. And the new mahjong egg waffle they just launched is quite interesting, making me nostalgic for the feeling of playing mahjong back in university. 呢間飲品舖呢quality相當唔錯,同埋佢新出嘅麻雀雞蛋仔都幾有趣,令我好掛住當初喺大學打麻雀嘅感覺。

Went to the North York location. Their Bubble milk tea was weak in flavour and the bubbles were chewy and a bit hard in the centre (undercooked). I was amused, however, with their waffle Mahjong tiles. Fun to eat but had to bake them a bit at home as they were also undercooked.

Small bubbletea shop that also serves pastries and Filipino meals…read more Their standout offering, of course, is the bubbletea. The tea is loose-leaf, so is elevated from the typical bubbletea. But it's the tapioca that really makes the drink shine with how fresh and bouncy they are. For a tea shop, this place also has really good food. Tried the scones and they were super buttery, very flavourful, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like all great scones. We also got some Filipino meals - the lechon kawali and lumpia super crispy, the bangsilog had a good portion size for the price, and the halo-halo was refreshing. Place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a couple of small tables to sit 4. Service is friendly. Tea offerings are extensive. Worth a drop-by.

Walking in, there's a great amount of cakes, cookies, and drinks. Cookies: The matcha white chocolate cookie was freshly made. Quite soft and delicious. Reasonably sized cookie. Yema cake: It was my first time having the Yema cake so I was looking forward to try it. I got the ube flavour and a soft chiffon cake texture. It wasn't too sweet and was perfect for a nice small dessert. The staff were friendly and the service was good. It's too bad there's limited seating as it would be great to dine-in. I definitely want to come back to try out their drinks!
