He was friendly and nice. I tend to go with fruity drinks. I got B8 on the menu, which was strawberry lemon tea. I splurged and got jelly. I went with 30% sugar and less ice. I always find it difficult to gauge whether I can take the lemon without sugar because the jelly has sweetness or if it's disgustingly sweet. The bar table was perfect for me to place my takeout on it. I took photos of the place. I saw this man muddle lime and strawberry slices. I'm not sure why lemon drinks are lime, but it doesn't matter to me. I like citrus. I paid with a credit card. You can tip if you'd like. It was straightforward. This store got a bit busy with two other customers entering as I was waiting for my drink. I was happy that I beat the rush. Another male staffer came into the store to help out. He ultimately handed me my drink, along with a straw. I thanked both men and left. It was my first time getting anything from Cha Miao. It won't be my last. My drink was so good. I'm glad that I did 30% sugar. The jelly didn't have any sugar or taste to it. You basically got it for the chewiness factor, which was fine. The strawberry and lime flavours were excellent. This drink felt like a partial meal with refreshing tea. It was so good that I have wanted another drink from this place ever since. I like that this place has daily specials for $4.99. Nice! I took a look and saw that this Aroma Espresso Bar was participating. This Aroma is located at CF Markville. It's next door to mall entrance 11 on the right. It has its own entrance that's separate from the mall. On the left is Walmart. I had no problem finding parking in front of Aroma. I had some orders to pick up at other stores in the mall. I placed my ritual order, picked up my other orders, and then headed over here to pick up dinner. I ordered the following items: - Large berry iced tea lemonade (25% off plus an extra $0.50 for upsizing to a large) - Soup and sandwich combo: - Portobello mushroom and hummus sandwich on multigrain bread - Tomato kale soup - Blueberry peach crumble My order took fifteen minutes to prepare. It was enough time to visit two stores before picking up dinner at Aroma. I used the mall entrance to head inside Aroma. There's indoor seating. There's also patio seating outside, depending on the weather. I got to the counter and had a nice man helping me out. I said that I had a Ritual order. He handed me a paper bag with my goodies inside. I thanked him and headed to my car with it. I then drove home to eat dinner. The large berry iced tea lemonade was refreshing. It was slightly sweet, with lots of berry and lemon flavours. It was cold and excellent on a hot summer day. I loved my portobello mushroom and hummus sandwich. The multigrain bread was soft and had a nice weight to it. It didn't feel heavy, but it had substance. The grilled portobello was excellent, paired with hummus that was yummy. I loved the sprouts and microgreens in this sandwich, which made me feel like I was eating something healthy. The tomato kale soup was excellent. I loved this soup so much. It was perfectly balanced between the tomatoes and the finely chopped kale. So good! I'd return just for this soup alone. Sadly, the place forgot my dessert. I made a visit today, just now! A Tuesday evening around 9:30pm. There were 4 people ahead of me - some movies at Cineplex had just ended so there was a customer rush of orders. The wait for my drink was 5 minutes long. I didn't have much interaction with the staff beyond getting served my drink. Some technical issues going on with their kiosks but I'm so happy they've opened a location in this building so I can grab a BBT after I watch a movie. Also LOVE that they replaced the old BBT spot that had suspiciously similar branding that you might mistakenly order from if you weren't paying close attention (me). Ordering is mostly via kiosks but I believe if you're paying with cash or experiencing technical difficulties, a staff member would be available to take your order. They have a rewards program so you can get discounts on your purchases. This time around I ordered a Medium Honey Green Teas with regular ice, tapioca, and regular sweetness which cost $6.99 total (there's currently a tax holiday). I've been on a quest to find a honey green tea that tastes like Arizona iced tea lol. My favourite drinks to order are the house special mango diamond slush which is mango slush with mango chunks, mango pineapple slush (a more tart version of the mango smoothie), durian slush, carrot juice, taro slush (has that satisfying artificial flavour), and the sweetened green teas. When I'm not lactose sensitive, the house special milk tea is also a great deal that always satisfies my milk tea craving. Just to mention some of the many drinks I've had: I've had the watermelon slush and its refreshing in the summer but as watermelon tends to be, the flavour tends to just feel like sugary water. I've also had the avocado smoothie, which is a rich avocado flavour. The warm honey lemon green tea (and all their warm fruity / sweet non milky teas) are great and natural but I hate the way that pieces of fruit tend to get leftover that the straw can't pick up. The matcha smoothie is also okay but it never mixes properly and so you end up drinking all the liquid but leaving the ice leftover. The strawberry banana smoothie is just ok.

The few drinks I have had did not taste as sugary as what was described by others. The locations are generally clean and well kept. The only thing is the staff may be a bit less experienced, but that is pretty common for these types of shops. Overall, I haven't ordered all the drinks but have enjoyed the mango drink each time I order.

The Mango Slush is basically fresh mango blended with ice and topped with real chunks of mango. That's it. Simple, fresh, and ridiculously delicious. My sister is obsessed with the Strawberry Slush and swears it's the best one, but I'm staying loyal to Team Mango. Since we've been going to the mall a lot this trip... let's just say I've been ordering it a lot too. I already know that once I fly back home, I'm going to miss this drink every single day. The service is always fast, and the staff are so sweet. Honestly, I don't know how they stay so calm and friendly when there's a lineup and everyone wants their fresh fruit fix. It's interesting that on the promotional poster for the drink it's marketed as a large sized drink for $6.80 but when ordering they asked what size I wanted. Just an FYI that on the receipt it shows as $6.20 for the drink plus $0.60 for the large and you'll only get the BT21 cup in a large. Once shaken the drink is so pretty, it shimmers. I needed another drink. I walked away from the food court and found Real Fruit Bubble Tea. Perfect! I looked at the menu while waiting in line. There was a person ahead of me. I love real watermelon that's pulverized into juice. I saw whole watermelons at the back of this store. Yes, please! When it was my turn to approach the counter, I got the nicest young man who guided me through the drink ordering process. I got a medium watermelon juice with mixed coconut jelly. It was cool looking at all the jelly flavours. The strawberry and green apple jellies looked good, too. Next time! I paid with a credit card. I tapped and paid. Done! It didn't take long for my drink to be made. The place had pre-cubed watermelon chunks and plopped them into the blender. Nice! I thanked the man who handed my drink to me. Most of the pearls were some sort of broken up and really soft... but not the good kind of soft. You can kind of see in the picture but I wasn't given a good ratio of tapioca either.. it wasn't just bad, but it was also stingy. At this store, I was able to specify that I didn't want any sugar in my drinks. I didn't have that option at Deer Mango. The lowest sugar option was 30%. The small pineapple chunks in the blue curacao drink were yummy. I love this drink so much. It wasn't sweet. It had carbonation. It was pretty. It tasted great! I then had the pink peach drink. It was so good with the small strawberries. The peach flavour worked well with the strawberry bits. I loved the fizziness. It also made me feel like it was summer drinking this beverage.
