    Avocado toast with egg
    Ashley B.

I wanted to like this place as it had a nice fresh vibe but the food was somewhat uneventful. I got the avocado toast with egg. The toast was fine, the avocado was fine, and the hard boiled toast egg was... fine. It seems to be a place for working professionals to grab something quick but heathy on the go but for $11 I could get the same thing in LA but so much better. Additionally, the staff seemed kind of over it.

I was searching for quick, healthy, and reasonably priced, and found it here! The avocado toast is divine, the bowls all look delicious and extremely healthy, and the espresso is wonderful. They also have super healthy smoothies. I had the almond brothers smoothie (almond butter, almond milk, banana, dates, and vanilla) and was also utterly in love with the texture and taste. A classy joint with high ceilings and happy people, I'll be sure to return next time I'm in Toronto! Note - they are cash only

Excellent salad-y food, try the smoked salmon. I tried this place at the York & Bremner as I was in downtown during lunchtime. The place looks cool and earthy, inviting, casual. There were a few people, mostly dressed in formals, so this is probably a popular lunch spot for office goers around here. The menu is short with limited food options. I ordered an avocado sandwich with smoked salmon. The food bar where they prepare the items has a slanted mirror on top so you can see the entire array of items and the food being scooped out and readied. After a 7-10 minute wait, what I got was a small piece of toast loaded with a small mountain of fresh avocado and topped with mouth watering smoked salmon. I hopped out to the patio to watch the downtown pass by as I downed my lunch, all the time wondering why I haven't tried this restaurant earlier. The cost can seem a bit pricy but the quality justifies it and then, it is also the location. I'm kicked about trying some other food options and definitely the smoothies on my next visit. A must try if in the area, at least the avocado sandwich with smoked salmon, this one I can vouch for.

I noticed a lot of IQ Food locations on the Bunz app, so I was curious to try my app and see if they will accept my cryptocurrency. When you walk in they have sounds on the PA that makes it fuller and more crowded than it actually is...so with the ambience, we found it was a bit tough to speak over it. I guess it is comforting when you're eating alone. We order the first two bowls on the top of the menu. The one with salmon was fishy. It was not fresh, it had a texture from frozen. Under the bowl there was brown rice. The Piri Piri had white chicken but it was dry. I did not really like the bowls, just the feature protein did not taste great, it just wasnt fresh, it was not well prepared. The protein is served with light veg more like decoration and the main feature is really the brown rice at the bottom -which is what ends up filling you up. The smoothie had a good sweetness but it was watered down. It could be from the greens or they added water. One size only. The matcha was good flavour, serves one size. Food is served cafeteria style. The way the location charges item by item I guess it can help with omissions on orders, but it also makes it quite difficult to budget your spending on the spot. I saw something disturbing, the girl preparing in the prep kitchen area was constantly scratching herself while wearing her food prep gloves. Occasionally shes on her cell phone. And prepping food....I understand the gloves are just for appearance. I didnt see her washing her hands after scratching herself or touching her phone. :/ Location accepts Bunz and charges tax in cryptocurrency. See photo off receipt. I've rated this 3 stars. For the following reasons. - the feature fish was fishy. It was not fresh, it tasted from frozen. It was just coated with stuff or really was not recognizable on the dish. - the chicken protein was white, it was dry. It was whole chicken no substitutes like protein though. - the smoothie was water down in taste. - the veg in the dish were not limp but I wish there was more, the rice outshined it. - value, I did not see the value in it. I am just recalling that a Reuben goes for $15 in Pickle Barrel and you can always substitute the fries for a salad.... so I am conflicted to buy a bowl of rice with veg side garnish and poorly prepared protein for $15. I think $5 to $10 for this size would be more appreciable because healthy does not need to be pricey. - also the salmon bowl, it was smaller than the piri piri. Inconsistency in size, they just loaded blue corn chips in the bowl, I expected more value when I picked the pricier dish. -I didnt really appreciate seeing how the food was prepped, girl dont scratch your body and touch your phone while prepping food. Come on! I might give another franchise location a try. I hope the girl in the back refrains scratching herself and touching her phone while prepping customer orders.

Our company orders team lunches frequently from IQ, which we thought to be a fresh and healthy option. On May 6th we placed an order and found bugs in the salad of one of our team members. After emailing IQ we have yet to even receive an apology or even a response from their team. It's unacceptable to think that veggies are not being washed as they should be. Do better IQ and at least acknowledge your customer's concerns.

You may think salads/vegetable could not be substantial or filling; healthy food won't be delicious. However, IQ Food will change your mindset. Recently I am changing my lifestyle to be more healthy. IQ is very close to my office; I would go there to get my lunch after exercise. The menu is very simple and they listed all the ingredients on the board. At first I would wonder why people would pay over $10 for salad, but once I tried it I would understand why. The ingredients are very fresh, the proportion of each ingredient make a very balanced favour. I like they put the sauce on the side, and I usually put 1/3 of the sauce only since it is most of the sodium and sugar coming from. The meal indeed is filling and I don't need an afternoon snack. It worths to mention their coffee is very nice too. It was first introduced to me as a nice coffee place from my coworker who is an European coffee drinker.

Tasty salads and coffee! I love how they have seasonal boxes featuring local ingredients which, when combined expertly together, taste amazing. The boxes themselves cost less than $15 (still a bit pricey) and service is pretty quick and efficient. I've only gone to this location as it is the only one open on the weekends. Both times it's been pretty quiet. The last time I was here I ordered the 100k box! I think one of my fave seasonal boxes. All the ingredients went so well together and it was a great healthy meal that didn't feel heavy on a hot summer's day. Will be back for more if I'm around the area.

First time coming to iQ! Staff: Was super friendly! Welcomed us here for the first time and gave us good recommendations to eat. And the food arrived very quickly about 5 mins within ordering! Food: Some of the ingredients are grown locally from Ontario, they are listed on the pamphlets! I ordered a Lima and Sparta bowl both of them came up to $28. They use very fresh and quality ingredients but for the portion size and the price for a student it is a bit too much. Maybe if the bowls were $10 flat for students I would go much more often! Space: very open, there are tables for you to eat and work at the same time. They also have a nice coffee, latte, and tea bar!

One of the best "healthy fast food" joints I've seen! I was surprised by the quality of the food being served up! I loved loved this place! A lot of good quality food but it does come at a price. Not very expensive but I am hoping they expand into Vancouver a bit more! I had 2 salads, a green shake and avocado toast! All equally good and nutritious!

I went to this place with my healthy-eating friends. I like the food here. For around 10 dollars, you got a salad with a piece of meat. I am not vegan and I want meat. The salad is incredible tasty. I don't usually choose to eat raw food or salad for lunch, but I would not mind eating here. Tip: order online during rush hours My favourite: lima and spicy salmon

I wanted to try out this place because of the average 4 stars review. Honestly very shock of how much I didn't like this place. I ordered sababa, which is the box that comes with cauliflower. I'm surprised how much it costs, over $13 after tax. But oddly as a main ingredient, there's only few small pieces of cauliflowers. Also I didn't like their homemade salad dressing. The build-in kale is $2.21, even I didn't want it, but I didn't know I can get rid of it and the box would be $2.21 cheaper. The ambience is quite off too. Seems to be a place with nice and high-end deco but also weird music playing at the background. Would not recommend.

This place is right in my work building at 18 York PWC building. The food is healthy here. I usually order here st least once a week. I usually get the Lima box which has rice, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, avocados, white cheese and chicken or the salmon box is pretty good as well. It's a bit pricy but very tasty and healthy. There's locations everywhere. This place gets packed after 11:45am. Usually when I want to not wait in line I get my food at 11:30. I was told of you go around 2 pm they're trying to get rid of the food so your get bigger portions. When you go during rush hour the portions are smaller.

I LOVE THIS PLACE !! The people there are amazing! The food is also amazing. It's a healthy box with a mix of veggies, meat and a base of quinoa. Their ingredients are fresh and I love the amount of cheese they gave us (yummy!) You can help yourself to the water jug. It's a very aesthetically pleasing and calming place to eat brunch and talk with friends.

We shop at this location numerous times and never have problems when it comes to price matching online sale price vs in-store price. I came today and bought items here that were on sale online and when I was paying for my purchases, the cashier/store manager YASMAN said that she can't give me the online price. I told her that I shop at this store all the time and they always match the online price. This is the first time it happened that they didn't honor the online price so in the end I still paid for the regular price. Later on I realized that I should just buy it online coz it's much cheaper. Since I'm still shopping and in the vicinity, I returned back to the store and return the items I have bought. Now here's another kicker - the same cashier/store manager is saying that she can only give me a store credit since one of the item's plastic seal was broken. I told her that it was sold like that to me and I just bought it from her. And it's not even like more than 2 hrs since I left their store. Yasman the store manager was so rude, unprofessional and not helpful. She was adamant that it was the store policy and she has to issue a store credit if the item seal was broken. I told her then you shouldn't be selling back to customer items with broken seal. When I went to back to check, I saw some item on the shelf (see photo) which doesn't have the plastic seal and still being sold by this store. So BUYERS BEWARE: make sure that you check that you're not buying a broken item seal otherwise when you decide to get a refund you will not get your money back but will instead be issued a store credit. This unpleasant and negative experience cemented the fact that I will not patronize going forward this business and all Healthy Planet location!
