This is my first time here and was really amped up after reading all the reviews. We were really craving for some yummy soup on a cold rainy day. We ordered the Thai butternut squash soup which sounded great going by the list of ingredients. I ordered online on their website and for the first order you get 50% off. But the thing is you don't get the sourdough bread free that dining people have indicated. Not sure if dine in folks get it for free but whatever. No biggie! I went over to pick it up. The entrance was a little confusing to find if you walk on harbor street but I found it. I picked up my soup and I told them I carried my own paper bag which they were pleased about. I was happy that they acknowledged my effort to save the planet. The place is bright with nice glass windows and plenty of room to socially distance. I brought home the soup, heated it as one should and started eating it. It was under seasoned. So I added salt and pepper. The flavors didn't really hit the spot. But I'm willing to give impact another try because their bowls looked really good and maybe that's what they're known for. Like all their other locations, this eatery serves up health bowls, health snacks, and drinks which are meant to nourish the body. I stopped by this location of Impact Kitchen as I had signed up for a free workout class led by one of the co-owners. These workout classes have been going on precovid and recently started up again. Great way to meet a community of like minded individuals while workout out together! I was able to try the restore smoothie after my workout (blueberries, raspberries, banana, maca, coconut flakes, almond butter, almond milk, and filtered water), a great post workout smoothie. The smoothie was delicious! My first time trying an Impact Kitchen smoothie, and won't be my last. Excited to try more of their foods and possibly even purchase their prepackaged foods. read more

I love Impact Kitchen and the Bay St and Adelaide locations are (chefs kiss 10/10) this queens quay location is HORRIBLE. I am a loyal subscriber of their monthly sipping broth. At the other locations they always offer lime, salt and pepper with a smile for my broth. Here they are super rude, they say they can't give me a lime, unless I pay for it (ok cool) but they ring up the charge for grass fed butter (because there actually isn't a charge for lime it's free at the other locations) it's only .57 cents I'm happy to pay but the rude attitude and just incompetent staff that don't know how to charge and just make up charges will always leave a bad taste in my mouth. Go to the other locations until this location is under new and hopefully competent management. read more

Was very excited to eat at Impact Kitchen before a Raptors game. We parked underground at 1 York and were able to walk to the restaurant and then walk to the arena. I had checked the menu online prior to visiting but seeing the menu in person was a whole different experience. Lot's to choose from! I went with the Kale Caesar salad, added salmon as my protein and also added roasted sweet potato to it. This is a vegan dish so it was made with a cashew caesar dressing. I really liked it! I wish the dressing was a bit more on the garlicky side but I guess that could be personal preference. The employee who served us was amazing, enthusiastic, and passionate about the customer experience they provide at Impact Kitchen. We were able to make modifications with no hesitation. After showing our vax cards we grabbed a table number and sat in their casual dining space. Our food was brought over pretty quickly with a carafe of water for us. Every time i passed by I wanted to eat here. So on a sunny Saturday we walked here for brunch. We ordered two dishes from the Weekend-only menu: a Paleo waffle and a superfood Benny. I have to say the hollandais is arguably the BEST I have ever tasted!! Cappuccino is also beyond expectation with its mildly creamy taste! The glass windows let in natural light. I'm updating the review because the service is slowly becoming less and less prompt and on point. Today, they didn't deliver both meals at the same time saying they bring it when they are ready. The second meal was so late that I had finished my meal before my partner even got his and I had to go and ask for it. They even forgot a side order of chorizo when they finally brought it over. I went to the counter to sort things out two times. By the third time we had to talk, she couldn't even look at me. Just say that you forgot our order. Everyone else got theirs on time and together. We always have to serve ourselves water now. It's not a efficient as it used to be. Either they are constantly short staffed or they can't retain their staff because I never recognize anyone in there anymore and I go pretty often. They were awesome during the pandemic. I wish they would get it together to meet the large number of customers. They need way more people to service the weekend rush, especially if they are also constantly doing take out. read more

We visited Impact three times on a recent vacation in Toronto. We went to the Queen's Quay location. I had the Harvest bowl, the Power breakfast and the turkey chili. The veggies in the Harvest bowl and the breakfast bowl were really fresh and delicious. The turkey chili was tasty and came with sourdough bread. The bread was incredible and gluten free too. I can't eat gluten due to Celiac. I didn't feel like negotiating with gluten-serving restaurants so Impact was the perfect choice. Everything is gluten free.
