a bowl of food with rice and vegetables

I love restaurants that offer gluten free items, especially those where you know the kitchen only caters to gluten free diets. The bowl was a little pricey given the amount of food but nonetheless was quite tasty! I'll definitely be back to try out more items from their menu since it's gluten free!

The staff at this location are always friendly and my two favourite bowls - the Zesty Mexican Bowl and the Victory Bowl - are EXCELLENT. Great flavour combos, and generally ready quite quickly! You feel full and healthy after eating them.

Restore smoothie

Heard all the good things about the king east location for impact kitchen, but never made the effort to go to king east to try it out! Walked pass by in Adelaide st and had to try this location out! Restore smoothie is really good wowww! I can taste the depth of flavour from the almond butter and Maca powder. It's really not the same as every other berry/banana smoothie for sure. The smoothie will set you back 10 dollars. But in comparison to all the other 10 dollar smoothies I've tried around Toronto so far, this IS the best. I bought smoothie and left right away. But next time I'd make sure to sit down and enjoy my smoothie / brunch. The decor is clean and a great place for studying / chat!

Great healthy, gluten free options! My favourite is the Warrior bowl with chicken. Friendly staff and catering is available too!

Walking inside, the warm cosy lighting and long barista/display counter immediately caught our eye. While it was relatively busy, it was also fairly quiet - perfect for those who wanted a quieter space as well as those looking for soft, casual conversation. We were sucked in by the delectable looking strawberry roll cake in the display counter for an early dessert! The cake was light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, balanced with just the right amount of strawberry & whipped cream filling. We also shared a hot, unsweetened matcha latte. The bitterness of the matcha, creaminess of the frothed milk & whipped cream, and sweetness of the cake were a perfect culinary match :) Would definitely come back for another visit!

I know that the ube trend is taking over but PLEASE before you advertise your product as such, DO YOUR RESEARCH and make sure that you are actually serving the thing. I'm Filipino and not only did I feel so offended by how this tasted, I also felt like I should be refunded. First of, the ube mixture was RED. I don't know where you're getting your ube mixture from but ube is PURPLE. The powder was chunky and did not at all taste like ube. Please, I get it we all want to make money from whats popular but take time to educate yourself. Get it from the right source OR ask a person who knows the product if its being presented right or if tastes remotely close. I'm very disappointed and would no longer be advertising Neo to my friends & family

Seating is solid, but noise can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. Coffee is good but a bit inconsistent. I usually go for cortados, and while I've had some really good ones here, other times the milk-to-espresso ratio feels off. The flat white, on the other hand, was excellent. Still need to try the pour-over. Service is always good too! Food is solid. Chocolate chip banana muffin was great, turkey sandwich was okay. Overall: Come for the space and vibe, and try a few drinks before locking in your go-to.

The only thing you need to know is that this café is popular for a reason. It's often busy, so you might not always find a table to sit and work at. But honestly, the quality of the coffee and the great vibe make the occasional standing-room-only situation completely worth it. Just grab your perfect drink and enjoy!
