A juice and smoothie bar that serves up frozen matcha!…read more I came here with one purpose only and it was to try their frozen matcha. The staff here were young but all very nice and welcoming. The frozen matcha itself was icy with really tiny ice pellets in it (wasn't as smooth as I'd like), but over I enjoyed the flavour. It was definitely extremely cold to drink since the ice pellets were larger than anticipated. The storefront is nice, selling lots of healthy snacks, whereas the back juice bar area had lots of seating. Overall, loved my very first frozen matcha here and could come back for more!

Twin sisters, Sydney and Ashley, founded The Hut in order to bring consistent quality products to the Muskoka area at first and now have expanded their business to Toronto. All the products featured in their shop are all curated with thoughtful ingredients and goods in mind. There are also some tables to enjoy your smoothies, coffee, and food as well. I stopped by The Hut Smoothie and Juice Bar on a Thurs mid morning. Upon entering the shop you walk past the many healthy grocery items on display where the cashier and coffee and smoothie bar is at the back. I decided to order a dragon fruit smoothie bowl (banana, dragon fruit, dates, and milk of choice topped with banana, strawberries, housemade granola, and natural peanut butter) as well as an Americano. My smoothie bowl and coffee were made at a reasonable time. The smoothie bowl was a good portion filled with the good stuff and I thoroughly enjoyed it (loved the housemade granola and the peanut butter!). My Americano was also made well. I sat inside enjoying my bowl. Overall, a nice addition to the midtown area for smoothies, coffee, and healthy snacks. Would return to try their smoothies!

They are also on delivery apps as well. I've been here multiple times for their smoothies (my favourite being the Green Zen and the Peanut Cacoa Bliss (great post-workout smoothie!)). I've also had their Farmer's Harvest Bowl and their Surf and Turf Bowl. Ingredients are fresh and the bowls are tasty! Since everything is made to order, expect about a 5-8 min wait for a smoothie or bowl. Either way, everything tastes great and is nutritious. Will likely return for more in the future!

Sadly I should have kept walking, what I received was disappointing and not worth the $5 price point. They feature flavoured milk bubble tea. I asked for coconut but they were all out. So i asked for Apple. She began by putting the tapioca balls in the bottom of the cup. The Apple is a powder, I didn't get to see what she blended it with, most likely milk. It states that you have your choice of kind of milk on the menu but I was never given that choice. Since the Apple is powdered it tastes fake and tart. The Apple powder, milk/water? And ice was blended together then poured over the tapioca. I have never had a blended bubble tea before but decided I might as well give it a shot. This one had the consistency of shaved ice. Once the minor liquid that was in it disappeared, the rest was like a very thick, undrinkable milkshake. The tapioca itself wasn't fresh. Some of them tasted frozen, not just cause they were put in the cup with the blended frozen stuff on top, but the consistency of them was odd. Some were fine some tasted not fresh or frozen. Next time I'm definitely going to continue walking right by this place.
