Went there for a drink and ended up having a plate of beef taco to share. Considering the prime location and a view $25 for 4 pieces of taco seemed to be resonable. Braised short rib inside taco was tender and flavourful. Ordered the hot sauce and did not realize that there is a charge of $2. This rooftop bar is the perfect spot if you're looking for a laid back experience with quality food, service, and a beautiful view of the water. If you're staying at the hotel as a guess be sure to bring your swimsuit to enjoy the pool. Overall this was a lovely dining experience. My friend and I walked in for brunch where I had the avocado Benedict and she enjoyed the tropical pancakes. Prices are a bit higher but it's worth it for the quality of food and views. Located on the 44th floor of Bisha Hotel in downtown Toronto, Kost has a lovely patio with a great view of the Toronto skyline and small pool. It's perfect for a rootfop brunch with a pool in the background. The food is excellent, and service is great and attentive. It tends to get very busy, especially during breakfast and brunch, so making a reservation online is highly recommended. The brunch menu contains several tropical-themed dishes (such as Tropical Coconut Pancakes with coconut whip cream and toasted shaved coconut, Kost Smoothie Bowl, Tropical Yogurt Parfait, and Tropical Fruit Bowl as a side). I love their tropical fruits selection: mango, pineapple, kiwi, coconut, lychees. I had the Salmon Niçoise Salad which consisted of grilled Atlantic salmon with green beans, cherry tomatoes, radishes, leafy greens, baby potatoes, black olives, and soft-boiled eggs. I asked for an extra side salad, and the portion was quite generous. It was a very satisfying brunch with great rooftop view to boot. Service here was the BEST service I received in my whole 5 day trip in toronto. She would come refill our waters, check on us, ask if we needed anything else. It was amazing. I never have met a rooftop that I did not like! I would love to come back here in the summer and experience the open doors/windows plus the views of the city. I came here during dinner time and winter; it was cool to see the cityscape lit up. I would say this is a more upscale restaurant. However, it was not anything that blew my mind away. I thought the service was the best part of my dining experience. I understand that Toronto is expensive - this felt more expensive than necessary but that may be because it is a rooftop bar and restaurant. My cocktail was delicious and I wish I could've had five more of them. I enjoyed my food, but it felt a bit odd to have a sandwich on a dinner menu. Located at top of the Hotel Bisha, Kost is definitely a vibe centered spot in Toronto. We dropped in for an early lunch and found out that they have a reset hour for lunch around 11:00am (call to confirm times). We ended up coming back and being able to get a spot in the outside at one of their beach style seating options. We had a few drinks which were very sweet, so be mindful if you typically don't like sweet drinks. I didn't try any food, as I had already eaten by the time I returned, but I have heard mixed reviews about their offerings. The service was friendly and effective and the views really are the highlight. I know the place is very touristy, but it is a nice vibe and a good place to visit to see some good views. read more

This is a hard review to write. Have you ever found the best spot of all time and the best server of all time, but you want to keep it a secret so you can still get a reservation in the weeks ahead? That's my conflict right now. So, let me take you back to the distant past to distract you. It's 1999. I'm an intern at NBC in Burbank, CA. I'm on my way to the NBC commissary for lunch (yes, the one Johnny Carson used to talk about). When I walk into the commissary, Will Smith is in the lobby. There's nobody in-between us. And, I can't resist. "Hey Will, you know, people say that you and I look a lot alike!" And I waited for him to smile, and say "yeah, I see that...". But, he looked me right in the eye and said "No, no they don't, man." And then he gave me that quiet signal that said "Move along". And, so, suddenly, I felt totally defeated. And I vowed that anybody ever named Will was my mortal enemy who needed to be destroyed. And, I did that. From 1999 - 2025, whenever I met anybody who was named Will, I knew what I had to do. And I did it. Lives ruined, careers destroyed, all because I was so hurt that "Original Will" didn't support me. Now, it's July 2025, and I'm at Kost, while enjoying a luxurious weekend at the Bisha Hotel, which has transitioned to joining Marriott as a "Luxury Collection" brand. Pause. Why bother? Toronto has the St. Regis and the Ritz as the exclusive spots for the super bougie people who love Marriott properties. Been there. Done that. But, what about the rest of us that are bougie on the inside but also want to have FUN during our stays? Is there actually a place that can combine my party vibe with my work-portfolio and aging motivation? Oh, there is. So, we book a brunch at Kost on the 44th Floor of the Bisha Hotel. We get an amazing host - Atena - and we get seated. Yeah, I'm on a rooftop in Toronto, Kost, which *actually tries to be awesome*! As we head outside on this random Thursday at 12:30 pm, I'm looking to floss and tell Toronto and the world, I am COOL! But, after we sit down, suddenly, "New Will" arrives. He approaches, offering a variety of options, is willing to micro-explain the menu, and seemingly cares about our experience. It was super-weird. Why does New Will act as if he really cares? Aw man. The whole experience hurts. I can criticize ANYTHING. I am locked into identifying every possible flaw with every possible Marriott benefit. I'm the kind of person who complains for any reason - any and every reason - all the time. But... I suddenly feel like I have lost that negative energy in a flash. This Kost Will -is really the Big Willie Style, so much so, that I thought he might bust out "Getting Jiggy With It" during our meal. Hours later, we remained humbled and in awe. In a "normal" brunch at a crowded pool/out-door spot, a "Will" would come by once every 50 minutes. But, in this alt-universe, New Will showed up maybe 15 times to ask how we were, what we needed, and if there was anything he could do to ensure we had a wonderful experience. It was so uncomfortable - I'm feeling like I'm Michael Jordan 1999 thanks to this guy, even though I'm a total buster unworthy of this level of attention. Team Toronto, imagine all of the times that you've had that awkward or horrible experience where you left a fancy weekend hotel/bougie meal dissatisfied or confused. You spend $$$ but walk away unhappy wondering - why did this experience feel so.... lame? Now, imagine the opposite of that. Imagine an experience where you go for a noon brunch, leave hours later, and feel like you just won Best Album at the Grammys. That's what people like Will at Kost know how to make possible for you. I can only hope that other Toronto high-end properties can one day have that Big Will™ style. Until then, I'm all about the Bisha, Kost, and the real Big Willie Style. #Thank-You-Will. read more

We started with a baby gem salad that included among other ingredients the most addictive sweety drop peppers, avocado, pecorino cheese, radish and green goddess dressing--simple but really good. We also had the grilled lamb chops, which were tender and seasoned simply. The ricotta agnolotti with pesto and sun-dried tomatoes was flavorful but slightly too under al dente. When I requested an off-menu drink, our waitress was super accommodating, and the bartender nailed it. We finished with the dulce de leche dessert that our server recommended and it DID NOT disappoint. This dessert was heavenly! This seems to be a go-to hot spot for Sunday brunch for the young and trendy. The place was booked full when we arrived for a 12 o'clock reservation. I had already had a lot of the food off the menu through room service at Bisha Hotel-and it had all been quite good and impressive, especially for hotel room service, where the quality bar is usually not very high. The food here was equally good but even better because it came straight from the kitchen which is right there in the restaurant. I had the Seared Tuna bowl which came with rice, edamame, mango, microgreens, and spicy mayo. All of it was fresh and delicious. We also had the salmon eggs benedict, prepared well with perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise, and these lovely crispy squares of potato which are just exquisite. The view from here is quite good on a clear day as you're up on the 44th floor, and you can go outside weather permitting. I would tag this as a date night place because it's quiet but not too quiet so you can have a conversation over a meal. In terms of food, I personally really like their Tres Leches. Beautiful scenery of the Toronto skyline while sitting on their rooftop patio. Located on the 44th floor of the Bisha hotel, you'll have to take the elevator up from the Bisha's main lobby. Once arriving you'll get greeted by the host, and see the beautiful restaurant interior. I opted to sit on the rooftop patio since it was a nice day out and got a beautiful view of the CN Tower. I got the eggs benedict and a latte for brunch. Food is okay, it's nothing too special and have had better brunch food at other restaurants. However, I think the beauty of the restaurant and service is what makes this a 4 star restaurant. Restrooms are on another floor which is annoying since you'll have to take the elevator down and up in order to use the toilet. Overall, great experience to bring any out of owners here for brunch so they can enjoy the beautiful view! read more

We stayed at the Bisha hotel and took up the offer to have breakfast at Kosh and had such a good dining experience. The Kost breakfast is hefty and very filling, everything you need if you're looking to heal a hangover. The tuna poke breakfast bowl was light, fresh and also filling. Service was friendly and attentive, my only comment is about the decor, since the color scheme is light and bright, some of the furniture cushions and pillows might need to be replaced. My boyfriend & I were staying at Bisha for the long weekend & upon check in, the concierge mentioned Kōst as a lovely breakfast option but suggested we make reservations then & there because it got very crowded, especially the outdoor area. We agreed & our first morning, we made our way to the 44th floor. While the day was a bit chilly & incredibly foggy, the restaurant was lovely & sitting outside felt like you were dining amongst the clouds! You could vaguely make out Lake Ontario & the CN Tower but that did not take away from the wonderful ambience & incredible service from our waiter, Lake. We were heading to a concert that day so while early, I decided to start my day with an ESPRESSO AFFAIR (Grey Goose Vodka, Licor 43, Disaronno Velvet, Kahlua, Coconut, Blonde Roast Espresso) & then to balance it out, a BRAIN TONIC (lime, lemon, grapefruit, orange, raw honey, activated charcoal, milk thistle, nettle leaf) and the TROPICAL YOGURT PARFAIT (berry tapioca pudding, lychee, kiwi, granola, bee pollen, mango). Everything was SPECTACULAR! The parfait was so nourishing & delicious & the brain tonic (i swear) wiped out my minor hang over. My boyfriend went with the SMOKED TURKEY BLT (fresh herbs aioli, smoked cheddar, sourdough, red pepper relish) minus the bacon & it was delicious & a huge portion. Everything was so good we came back the following day but decided to sit inside this time as there was a wait for the outdoor area. Finally made it to Kost Saturday night and was not disappointed. The sky high views of the city are a highlight, so make sure you ask for a nice view. The whole ambience was relaxing, with pool house music and matching rooftop pool. Food was delicious - I had the rigatoni with pesto. Our server was hilarious and very kind, although they must have been too busy or over staffed because it was hard to get his attention. I didn't really mind though - I wasn't in a rush. What a view from the rooftop at kost ! This is a awesome rooftop restaurant on top of the Bischa hotel in downtown Toronto. Stunning views and nice classy restaurant with a fresh California feel to it. There is a indoor area and an outdoor and an infinity pool ! I found the pool location a little odd though right next to the seating in the open area. No one was in the pool and I probably wouldn't be either with people sitting all around me! We came up here while strolling around the Harbour area To get a drink. They have a nice array of cocktails and they were serving Sunday brunch when we went but were fine with us just having drinks. I got a nice gin cocktail and my friend had a Prosecco. Only downfall being they are served in plastic glasses. I don't know if that's something to do with it being rooftop with a pool but a nice place like this should have real glasses!! Drinks were good and service was great. What truly drew me to ordering this was the butterfly pea powder. The waitress described it to me as glitter, and I did not need to hear more! Anyway I finally planned to bring my mom here for her birthday brunch on a Sunday afternoon in February. We got drinks at the bar - I got the lipstick mojito mocktail and I can't precisely remember what my mom got but I think she got the Golden Greens cocktail. We asked her drink be less strong and the bar tender made it perfectly! Shortly after as our waitress came by to get us seated, we requested for a corner table with a view and they happily accommodated. Once we were seated at our table, we saw a gorgeous view of the CN tower and amazing decor inside. It felt like summer. Had an airy, calming Californian vibe to it. For brunch, I got the chicken and waffles which were really well made and delicious. Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside as it should be. My mom got the avocado toast that came with roasted potatoes! Our waitress was very courteous and helpful, she kept checking in on us every once in a while and we really appreciated that. She also offered my mom her choice of birthday dessert on the house - we got the tropical getaway which comes with mango and passionfruit mousse. It was so yummy we loved it! The best part about this location is the view. Fantastic, being that it is on the top floor of the relatively new Bisha Hotel. We went for Brunch and it was hopping. Reservations are a must. Some good selections including a number of juice infusions. My friend had the Benedict and I had the regular type breakfast. ( I would have given a higher rating but I need someone to explain to me why the server steered me away from ordering poached eggs when they are obviously doing them for the many eggs Benedict they serve. I have been to Kost a few times and every time the service is really great. The prices are expensive but the food and drinks are tasty. usually we will split some apps/sides and we always leave satisfied. the views of the city are spectacular, specially on a nice day i highly suggest visiting kost in the summer and sitting on the patio. they even gave a free desert for my birthday. read more
