Our server, Emma, was very kind and offered me suggestions. Following her wisdom I decided to go with the "Meet Me at Brunch" finger guns. It was delicious. The aura of the place is unmatched, and it was really cool being surrounded by other likeminded individuals who don't just enjoy food to survive, but to have a good time. Nice decor, very friendly staff, average to below average food. First off we are greeted by the nicest people , everyone was great! The order, however, took 45 min to arrive. Not a huge ordeal considering wasn't in a rush , but strange for breakfast food in a large bust restaurant. Egg sandwich arrived cold with undercooked, fatty bacon . Hash browns were cold and from frozen. The yogurt parfait was blah. Nice people but wouldn't return. read more

While the wait staff was friendly and helpful and the place itself was super cute, the vegan breakfast I got left a lot to be desired. I got the traditional Benedict and was excited about the vegan sunny side up eggs. The photo on the menu was clearly of a non-vegan version bc as soon as I got my dish I knew it wasn't going to be good. Not only was there very little hollandaise, but it had no flavor at all. Neither did the eggs. It's like they figured out how to get the look and texture but gave up there. I couldn't eat them. And the bacon was also awful. It smelled like a bag of dog treats. I've had phenomenal vegan bacon at many places but whatever this was, was not good at all. Overall, it was very expensive and very disappointing. read more

I concur with Weiqi's 4-star review of this tourist spot right near all Toronto's big attractions. For tourists, this is as good as it gets! Food was top notch. No complaints at all. If you crave diner food from back in your home town, this would be recommended by me in the area. Atmosphere and service a commensurate for a higher end place that you would expect from a large city restaurant with bold and bright interior including views onto some interesting walkways and roads as well as great service from friendly staff. They look ready to handle large volumes so don't be put off if they are busy with crowds in this area, they got you! read more

Definitely worth the wait! We waited about 20 to 30 minutes. The entire stay, we noticed the line stayed out the door. The service by Andre was fabulous. Steak and eggs breakfast was absolutely phenomenal! We ordered the "Irish coffee" was supposed to come with whiskey, sugar, and whipped cream. Showed up at our table as a black coffee with whiskey. We were able to ask for some oat milk on the side and added our own sugar and it turned out well. I have to say the coffee was really really good! The ambience was absolutely beautiful and everything was seamlessly perfect. read more

Cute place.. enjoyed the chandeliers and interior design. The tables are all spaced very close to just be prepared for a tight fit. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about gluten-free, but had lots of tables so service was quite slow. Lots of gf options on the menu including gf bread. I had the avocado and tomato toast and eggs. I really liked the side salad and everything was prepared well. Seasoning was a bit bland for my taste but they had lots of condiments for that. Food/Drinks: This is a great place to get some breakfast. They have a range of items in their menu. We decided to get a salmon bowl, and my husband got a waffle with strawberries. It was really good, and I did enjoy the mimosas. Location: The location is very pretty and spacious. When we went, it was pretty busy, and we did have to wait a bit because we didn't have a reservation, but no more than 15 minutes, and we were able to get a table. The location is spacious and a pretty casual breakfast spot. Lots of families and couples, and just a perfect place to grab food to start your day. We walked here from our hotel, so I'm not sure how parking works for this location. Service: The service was pretty quick and helpful. read more

Great ambiance, all of their locations have good lighting and nice interior, perfect for cute brunch photos. Service was not bad, but I thought the orders took a while to come, and our salads look like they were tossed long time ago and isn't fresh anymore (see pictures). Food and drinks were delicious. Service was good but timing was slow. Arrived for our reservation. Sat immediately. Server came to say hello. Came second time to get drink order. Came a third time to get our food order. Saw drinks at the bar for several minutes before we got them. Food arrived 55 minutes after we sat. Didn't see server for several minutes needing condiments. I really wanted to like this place because the space itself is beautiful and they have a solid vegan-specific menu, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to the vibe. We were seated immediately, which was great, but service went downhill from there. It took a long time for someone to take our order, and even longer for the food to come out. I actually saw our dishes sitting at the counter for quite a while before they were brought over, so by the time we got them, my fries were soggy and the Evivva burger was already cold. The food itself was pretty underwhelming. The garden omelette had no salt at all, and the burger was pretty flavorless. Honestly, adding the aioli that comes with the omelette to the burger would've helped a lot. To top it off, our server seemed to forget about us entirely toward the end. We waited around 10 to 15 minutes just to get the bill after finishing. Overall, not a great experience. I would only consider coming back if I really needed vegan options and had no better alternatives. read more

Potatoes are good. Eggs and the steak was just meh. The steak was dry and a good chunk of it was too well done for medium rare. The mango sunshine smoothie just tasted ok. My wife said the eggs in the eggs benedict were overcooked. She said this place is overrated. Also while servers are sweet, the service is super slow. read more

I need to start out by saying this was by far my favorite breakfast place that I tried in Toronto. I was SO happy to have stumbled upon this gem. So much so that I ended up visiting twice! But I'll summarize the reviews for both times here. The location itself is a showstopper from the outdoors to the indoors, everything is beautifully decorated in a way that somehow makes you feel special. The first time I visited I ordered a Maple Latte and a Salmon Eggs Benedict. I love maple and maple lattes, and have tried a few both in Canada and across US New England states, but this one was my favorite! It was perfectly sweetened! The Eggs Benedict was also so good, and they were accompanied by their house potatoes which were also very good. I had such a great experience that the next day I returned with some colleagues. This time around I ordered the same Maple Latte and an Evviva Omelette (if I remember the name correctly) - the latte again was impeccable and the omelette while very delicious, unfortunately was not as good as the eggs Benedict. The second day we sat in their outdoor seating area which was nice, but I personally really enjoyed sitting inside the previous day. Both days we had the same waitress, and she was very very nice both times. Sadly I don't quite remember her name. Overall, Evviva was my absolute favorite in Toronto and I would gladly visit again someday if I return to the city. It's important to highlight though that Evviva was pricier than the other coffee/brunch locations we visited, but it was definitely worth it in my opinion. read more

The omelette was okay, could use more seasoning, and the latte was weak coffee wise. I still appreciated that they had a vegan menu. The bread they used for the toast was really good though! My favorite part was a drink that i did not capture and can't find the name of - ha. It was a bourbon spritz of sorts and much better than the mimosa and so pretty. The ambiance is great (you can get good photos) and the food is ok. Not stellar but I don't think it will disappoint you. My smoked salmon egg Benedict was nice, the chicken and waffles were ok (tenders are used) and the cheesesteak (which absolutely was not a cheesesteak) was a really tasty sandwich no less with great bread and filling. I came in Monday morning at 8:30 and was not even brought water or had a server come to my table for over 10 minutes. Once I was able to get my order in, my food was brought pretty quickly. My oat milk vanilla latte was very well made, and the eggs Benedict was pretty average. The breakfast potato's weren't flavorful at all but had a nice texture. The side salad was a nice touch. Located just a brief 3-minute walk from the CN Tower, this eatery was a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Our arrival just before 10 a.m. coincided with a vibrant morning buzz. The host efficiently secured us a table in under 10 minutes, making our transition seamless. Evviva's interior effortlessly exudes an atmosphere of elegance, accentuated by the soft illumination of white chandeliers casting a gentle glow and vibrant green floral accents creating an open and inviting atmosphere. Once seated, our warm and attentive waitress made us feel right at home. Despite attending to multiple tables, she managed to be courteous and attentive throughout our meal. I began with a refreshing mango juice, a delightful kickoff to the morning. For my main course, I ordered from their all-day breakfast menu. Opting for the bacon, ham, eggs, and sausage combo, complete with perfectly grilled potatoes and fresh bread. I couldn't resist adding a double stack of blueberry pancakes for a small extra fee. The portions at Evviva are satisfyingly generous. The grilled potatoes were bite-sized and had a delightful crispness. The ham and sausage were scrumptious. While the pancakes were not exceptionally fluffy, their density paired well with the syrup, but not enough for me to thoroughly enjoy them. This was such a great brunch spot! The decor inside was so gorgeous (wish i had better pictures of it) and i loved the ambiance here. The breakfast potatoes were actually to die for, so savory and crunchy; combined with the eggs and toast that were prepared perfectly, it was a delicious meal. The only thing I didn't love on my plate was the sausage but I'm not huge into sausage so that's not a surprise. My boyfriend really liked his chicken and waffles and the server was also really good even though it was a busy sunday morning. The bathrooms were also very nice and clean which I appreciated. We were excited to be seated outside for breakfast on a warm summer morning, but it ended up being under a vent blowing hot air. My chair was sticky and I had to go wash my hands, where I found out the hard way that my bathroom stall wouldn't lock. There was ground coffee at the bottom of my cup and the sandwich I ordered was served lukewarm and lacking in flavor. The service was fine though, and we were seated in a timely manner, even though it was a busy Sunday morning. Great place to start with in the morning. Went there for breakfast, and that was my first restaurant to go to in Toronto. It is situated right across the CN tower. Beautifully decorated with lots of seating and wonderful service. Tried their maple waffles and hot chocolate. Both of them were yummy. Right sized portions and the taste were just perfect! This is in a great location for ballgames, CN tower and other touristy attractions. It's bright with large windows and the ambiance is okay but definitely nothing special. Service was sufficient. The menu pretty decent but nothing that really was that great sounding. It'll do for a meal that you need but not really what I would want people to go to if in Toronto. I was disappointed I Ulysses my one breakfast meal while in town here. I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken and nothing wrong at all with it. It did the job and was good but nothing outstanding. The breakfast items - sandwich was fine as well - but nothing special. The Caesar salad looked good and the smoked salmon average.
