I came here for breakfast during work travel and I have to say I was super thrilled with my experience. The service was great and very attentive. The interior decoration was so beautiful and so inviting that it was so comfortable to eat in. The food was delicious. I ordered turkey, bacon and scrambled eggs and they were so fresh and came out super hot. My favorite was their French toast.

The wait was long due to being a popular brunch spot. When we were seated it took a while to get a server and our waters, but ince the order was in the food came out hot, fresh and together. So worth the wait I would say . We we're a party of 4 . Two of us ordered the Ultimate BTL on a buttery Croissant with a side ceaser salad. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Everything tastes so fresh. One of use ordered the omelet with home fries, another ordered the breakfast platter. Overall a solid brunch / lunch spot.

I was happy to find that this place was a 7-minute walk from my hotel while I was in Toronto for a work event. We started working in the early morning, so my last day was the only day that I could get out and enjoy a real breakfast. I got there right as they opened at 7 am and was seated right away. I ordered the crepes with chicken, spinach and mushrooms, and it was one large crepe with a plate of salad. A bit odd for breakfast (more of a brunch item) but it was very good! I love crepes and this dish did not disappoint. My $7 latte was not as impressive. It was watery and not as enjoyable. My waitress was kind enough to give me a to go cup and add coffee to it for me to take with me. Overall I enjoyed and I'm glad I came.

Really good food. It's in the cut behind city hall. Has great outside seating! They are a bit on the pricey side,$65 for two entrees. Definitely check it out

This was a cute brunch spot I stopped at in Toronto while walking around the city. They had some fun options like breakfast poutine which was really delicious! The tacos were flavorful as well. We also had a smoothie which was nothing special, similar to something I could have made at home. Service was a little slow but all of our items came out perfect.

This restaurant was close to our hotel. A little hard to find but t once we did, were greeted by good service and food. Portion size was generous. Everything was delicious. Would recommend.

Located just outside Eaton Centre. I was greeted by a lovely team member who introduced his name and he was very attentive. I ordered Avocado Smash, Orange Juice and an Espresso.

Expensive, cold, and slow Been in Toronto a few days and this place took the longest to bring the food out. When we got the food everything looked good but as you could tell in the photos my omelette was cold and so was my family's avocado toast Benedict.

Ladies & gentlemen, this place is fyyyyyyye! While in Toronto for the Usher concert, the lady and I stumbled upon Eggspectation. Located just outside the Eaton Center, Eggspectation is a downtown eatery with ample indoor seating along with a decent sized patio. The ambiance gives of cheek, brunchers brunch spot with a trendy flare. The menu has a few specialities, along with some all days every day faves. After some review of the menu, I went with the breakfast tacos and my ohhhhh my, they did not disappoint! A combination of chorizo, bacon, and sausage along with potatoes, egg, avocado and some sort of lime cream . These joints were banging. They also didn't skimp on the portions! The misses went with the chicken and waffles, however didn't really care for it as the chicken was very bland. She tried to replace it however management didn't allow. Outside of management not working with us to change out an order, Eggspectation should be a spot to try if in the downtown area. I certify the breakfast tacos!

EGGSPECTATION . . Is it just me or does brunch taste better on a Sunday? Its been a while since we went to @eggspectationca . So long that I didn't even know they renovated?! I loved the new interior and the new vibe. It was very pretty. I also believe they expanded their menu which is nice. . . Eggspectations crepe 3.75/5 Eggstravaganza 4/5 . . Food is always consistently yummy here which I love. I usually go for the classic eggs benedict but decided to try the crepe this time. It was good, but it just didn't hit the spot like an eggs benedict would (iykyk).

This was a great choice for breakfast. The service and food was excellent. I recommend the smoked salmon benny. My waiter Jerryld did a great job. The atmosphere is very casual. Would definitely recommend!

Overall the restaurant looks extremely nice and trendy. Great bar area with TVs. The waitress we had was very kind. Tropical Smoothie was very good and had a great orange flavor. The breakfast tacos were large and great to share amongst two people. They were loaded with various meats and toppings. Highly recommend

Easy, fast service. Food was great. Mimosa was yummy and a great size! I would love to return and try other things on the menu.

Enjoying the beautiful weather and delish experience here! Come on down! Or, up!

Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. The patio, however, is a genuine reward, a shaded perch worth claiming on a slow afternoon. This is a cafe operating with real ambition and skill, let down only occasionally by its own popularity. The line moved quick, even though it wrapped around, we waited for about 20 minutes only. The menu has some cool items, a few fusion dishes and trendy items. Awesome presentation and definitely Instagram worthy. I got the huevos rancheros, it was more like an egg burrito with beans, sauce and potatoes on top. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. Very friendly service (server was Crystal). Sat outside and still was attended to attentively - typically worried that patio seating gets less attention but that wasn't the case here. The menu excited me as brunch usually is a choice between sweet or savoury, but they have various options with both. Got the Indecisive with the eggs poached medium ( would recommend soft for future or sunny side up). The pistachio latte was yummy but with the matcha pancakes it became too sugary of a meal. Overall a casual yet put together vibe. Great for friends, dates, solo, or family. Washrooms not the cleanest, but the dining area was good. I enjoyed the "matcha mood" with strawberry syrup. Delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness amd hint of vanilla. Listen, everybody doesn't get matcha right, but TMA hit the mark! For food, i had a "three way" (lol I love that). Scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, toast and a fruit bowl. The potatoes were the star. Cooked perfectly and crisp. Everything else was good as well. I didnt really enjoy the sausage. It had a weird texture and flavor that I just didn't like. That's clearly the vibe they're going for, but you should know ahead. A bit funny that part of the restaurant theme is curing a hangover from the night before when they have music at club volume, but whatever. And the DJ wasn't just putting music on shuffle either or just playing old hits, so at least there was effort. I split with someone else and tried the smoked salmon eggs benedict which had hollandaise with beet mixed in (hence the colour). It was really good and my only regret is waiting a few minutes to try it since I started with the pancakes first (more on that), but it meant the egg cooled down. But that's on me. I liked the hashbrowns too and the house salad. The pancakes with blueberry compote and lemon ricotta were amazing. Loved the texture, the quality and lightness of the ricotta and I always love lemon with blueberries. Will definitely get this again. Just keep in mind with the music (at least on Saturdays) this place really isn't suited for families - whether that be younger children (and music was fully explicit) or parents/grandparents either.
