I ordered the chicken and waffles and was a little disappointed. The chicken was dry and didn't have any seasoning, the added powder sugar gave it a little flavor. The waffle tasted like a waffle wasn't bad wasn't great. I saw other items on the menu that looked better so maybe next time I'll give it a try. The restaurant itself was cute. It had bar where you could watch sports and enjoy a drink. Interior looked modern. Service was fine. It was only me that went to lunch quick and easy. I don't know if I would recommend this place since the chicken and waffles really did not stand out and it was around $23
I had a great breakfast here! No complaints really, except the medium rare lamb chops were quite rare. Also, to sub potatoes for a salad it's an addition $4. Is this really necessary? That was over the top. Sausage really good. French toast was alright. Amazing potatoes!!!!

The interior decoration was so beautiful and so inviting that it was so comfortable to eat in. The food was delicious. I ordered turkey, bacon and scrambled eggs and they were so fresh and came out super hot. My favorite was their French toast.

So worth the wait I would say . We we're a party of 4 . Two of us ordered the Ultimate BTL on a buttery Croissant with a side ceaser salad. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Everything tastes so fresh. One of use ordered the omelet with home fries, another ordered the breakfast platter. Overall a solid brunch / lunch spot.
I was happy to find that this place was a 7-minute walk from my hotel while I was in Toronto for a work event. We started working in the early morning, so my last day was the only day that I could get out and enjoy a real breakfast. I got there right as they opened at 7 am and was seated right away. I ordered the crepes with chicken, spinach and mushrooms, and it was one large crepe with a plate of salad. A bit odd for breakfast (more of a brunch item) but it was very good! I love crepes and this dish did not disappoint. My $7 latte was not as impressive. It was watery and not as enjoyable. My waitress was kind enough to give me a to go cup and add coffee to it for me to take with me. Overall I enjoyed and I'm glad I came.
Really good food. It's in the cut behind city hall. Has great outside seating! They are a bit on the pricey side,$65 for two entrees. Definitely check it out
This was a cute brunch spot I stopped at in Toronto while walking around the city. They had some fun options like breakfast poutine which was really delicious! The tacos were flavorful as well. We also had a smoothie which was nothing special, similar to something I could have made at home. Service was a little slow but all of our items came out perfect.

Ladies & gentlemen, this place is fyyyyyyye! While in Toronto for the Usher concert, the lady and I stumbled upon Eggspectation. Located just outside the Eaton Center, Eggspectation is a downtown eatery with ample indoor seating along with a decent sized patio. The ambiance gives of cheek, brunchers brunch spot with a trendy flare. The menu has a few specialities, along with some all days every day faves. After some review of the menu, I went with the breakfast tacos and my ohhhhh my, they did not disappoint! A combination of chorizo, bacon, and sausage along with potatoes, egg, avocado and some sort of lime cream . These joints were banging. They also didn't skimp on the portions! The misses went with the chicken and waffles, however didn't really care for it as the chicken was very bland. She tried to replace it however management didn't allow. Outside of management not working with us to change out an order, Eggspectation should be a spot to try if in the downtown area. I certify the breakfast tacos!
Expensive, cold, and slow Been in Toronto a few days and this place took the longest to bring the food out. When we got the food everything looked good but as you could tell in the photos my omelette was cold and so was my family's avocado toast Benedict.

I loved the new interior and the new vibe. It was very pretty. I also believe they expanded their menu which is nice. . . Eggspectations crepe 3.75/5 Eggstravaganza 4/5 . . Food is always consistently yummy here which I love. I usually go for the classic eggs benedict but decided to try the crepe this time. It was good, but it just didn't hit the spot like an eggs benedict would (iykyk).
Overall the restaurant looks extremely nice and trendy. Great bar area with TVs. The waitress we had was very kind. Tropical Smoothie was very good and had a great orange flavor. The breakfast tacos were large and great to share amongst two people. They were loaded with various meats and toppings. Highly recommend
We visited Eggspectation for a weekend brunch and both the patio and inside dining area were packed. The atmosphere was lively and everyone seemed to enjoy their time. The menu is huge, with everything from Eggs Benedict and omelettes to French toast, pancakes, waffles, crêpes, and plenty of lunch options. We ordered "Uneggspected", "Eggstravaganza with Lemon Ricotta & Blueberry Compote", "Prime Rib Benedict", and "Waffle Tiramisu". It was a great mix of sweet and savoury dishes, and the portions were generous. The Prime Rib Benedict was especially rich, with prime rib, poached eggs, Swiss cheese, horseradish aioli and hollandaise. The Lemon Ricotta & Blueberry Compote added a nice sweet touch to the Eggstravaganza and Waffle Tiramisu was a great choice to finish our brunch on a sweet note. We also had a Cappuccino and Irish Coffee, which paired nicely with the meal. The staff are very friendly and attentive; adding to the great experience. read more

Oh my gawd!! What a special find for us while attending the PASG conference in Toronto September 10-12. The menu and ambience was lovely, the food wonderful! The coffee, tre bon! (?). Very good, too!!! All at great value!! Our special thank you to the wait staff l, especially Peter whose smile and kindness was delightful! His sharing about the City and his thoughts on world politics was really enjoyable and meaningful! He also remembered our order from the previous day! Wow! IN-CREDIBLE !!! This was my first time to this spot and I could not have more positive things to say. First off, the service is egg-celent our server was super friendly and gave us some great recommendations. Everything she she recommended was I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant that was so attentive and on the ball. Our meal came out in 10 minutes, we barely got through our coffees! There was also always multiple people walking around filling up your water and coffee. My cup never went a minute being empty and between my water and coffee was filled up about 6 times right away. The manager also came around greeting everyone and asking how everything was, he even gave us a free desert coupon and thanked us for coming in which was really kind. And most importantly, the food was amazing. I got the avocado toast benny with added bacon (as recommended by our server). There was SO much bacon and avocado, and the hollandaise was topped with a fresh pico de gillo for an extra flavor bomb. The restaurant is also super cute. Lots of greenery, creative decor and just in general a wonderful ambiance. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Unfortunately they don't do reservations on the weekend and luckily we made it while it was a little slower but our server said the line can go around the block at times. This place is close to our hotel so we decided to try this for breakfast. I read this place gets crowded but on yelp there is a wait time and it was less than 5 minutes so we left and got there around 10 am and was promptly seated. I ordered the breakfast poutine since I wanted to try this since it's a Canadian thing. I have had this in the states but this was phenomenal. Egg, meats, potato's and gravy, and it was a great combination. My wife had the breakfast tacos. The waiter suggested for her to put the green Tabasco sauce on it. She can't take the heat so she didn't. But she gave me a bit which I added the hot sauce and it went with the flavors on the tacos. I would get the tacos next time if we go back. They have a lunch menu and it looks really good so we may try them for lunch before we leave. This place was so good we went back for breakfast and lunch the next day before we left. Service was great and our waitress at breakfast remember us. The egg Benedict was wonderful along with the potatoes and the French toast was the best that I've tasted. It could have been the maple syrup. My wife said the waffle was the best she had. Now the person next to us got a waffle with fruit which my wife said she should have gotten since it looked better than what she had. Lunch was very good. I guess Montreal food is smoked but my sandwich had a great taste. The meat and the cheese including the bread made the sandwich. I didn't need anything else. My wife's said the club sandwich was the best she's tasted. I am wondering if it's the bread. The onion rings were very good and I would get them again. read more

Great service, the staff was friendly and welcoming! The food was excellent full of flavor coffee was strong just like I love it. The restaurant it self was clean with a chill vibe to it. Chicken on the waffle was not dry at all and the waffle itself was flavorful with a slight crisp to it. The eggs benedict was tasty and no complaints on there. I've eaten here many times. It is still good, but avoid the pancakes. The pancakes are consistently dry. The French toast is much better, but also can be drier than expected. I'm not sure if the issues are the recipe, overcooking or both. The only fix is to drench in syrup. The best plate is the omelette. The turkey bacon is unique. I really like it because it's not greasy and fatty like regular bacon. The toasted bread is also good. The smoothies are good. I like the patio where sometimes you can watch a patient get dental surgery surgery in the window of the adjacent dental surgeon! read more
Solid breakfast spot but nothing too special. I had the crab cake Benedict and it felt a bit underwhelming. The crab cake was a bit salty and the poached egg was overcooked. On the other hand, the waffles were crispy and delicious, especially after adding Nutella. Prices are decent for the area but definitely seemed a bit touristy. Came in for breakfast and there were plenty of tables, we got seated right away. My bf loved the bbq burger!! It was huge and had a lot of flavor. I got the meat lovers omelette and the sausage in it was soo hard and unappetizing, ate around all the pieces. The potatoes were great that was the best part. Ordered a cappuccino and it was horrible had a burnt taste to the espresso. I wanted 2% or fat free milk and they only offered whole milk or almond, oat, soy. Very strange. Overall ok place but don't go in with a lot of expectation. Tables were VERY close to each other, you could clearly hear other tables conversations. read more

My family and I visited this location two weeks ago on a Tuesday afternoon (party of 11) and the service was amazing. Everyone's meal was made to perfection. Our server and the manager Ricardo were very patient and gave good suggestions. Although our party was big, the food came out within 20 mins. If I lived in this area I definitely would return for another brunch. They also offer happy hour deals. Don't hesitate, Check them out! read more

Eggspectacular!!!! Outstanding service, such amazing food and cozy ambiance . We dropped by for brunch, and ordered the lamb chop breakfast and the "uneggspected" (NY steak and eggs), both went beyond our expectations. Meat grilled to perfection.
