I ordered the chicken and waffles and was a little disappointed. The chicken was dry and didn't have any seasoning, the added powder sugar gave it a little flavor. I was happy to find that this place was a 7-minute walk from my hotel while I was in Toronto for a work event. We started working in the early morning, so my last day was the only day that I could get out and enjoy a real breakfast. I got there right as they opened at 7 am and was seated right away. I ordered the crepes with chicken, spinach and mushrooms, and it was one large crepe with a plate of salad. A bit odd for breakfast (more of a brunch item) but it was very good! I love crepes and this dish did not disappoint. My $7 latte was not as impressive. It was watery and not as enjoyable. Amazing service, the waiter was so amazing and patient with us as we were overwhelmed by the delicious selection. The kids pancakes and French toast were perfect size. Very fluffy and delicious. My sister in law said that the breakfast tacos were delicious and hit the spot I had the breakfast poutine. I saw on some of the previous pictures that the breakfast poutine was with fries. Mine came with "home fries" like disks. They were good, but I wish that fries were an option! Maybe I should have asked. My fault. Great place and service. After some review of the menu, I went with the breakfast tacos and my ohhhhh my, they did not disappoint! A combination of chorizo, bacon, and sausage along with potatoes, egg, avocado and some sort of lime cream . These joints were banging. They also didn't skimp on the portions! The misses went with the chicken and waffles, however didn't really care for it as the chicken was very bland. She tried to replace it however management didn't allow. IN-CREDIBLE !!! This was my first time to this spot and I could not have more positive things to say. First off, the service is egg-celent our server was super friendly and gave us some great recommendations. Everything she she recommended was I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant that was so attentive and on the ball. Our meal came out in 10 minutes, we barely got through our coffees! There was also always multiple people walking around filling up your water and coffee. My cup never went a minute being empty and between my water and coffee was filled up about 6 times right away. The manager also came around greeting everyone and asking how everything was, he even gave us a free desert coupon and thanked us for coming in which was really kind. And most importantly, the food was amazing. I got the avocado toast benny with added bacon (as recommended by our server). There was SO much bacon and avocado, and the hollandaise was topped with a fresh pico de gillo for an extra flavor bomb. The restaurant is also super cute. Lots of greenery, creative decor and just in general a wonderful ambiance. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Unfortunately they don't do reservations on the weekend and luckily we made it while it was a little slower but our server said the line can go around the block at times. This place is close to our hotel so we decided to try this for breakfast. I read this place gets crowded but on yelp there is a wait time and it was less than 5 minutes so we left and got there around 10 am and was promptly seated. I ordered the breakfast poutine since I wanted to try this since it's a Canadian thing. I have had this in the states but this was phenomenal. Egg, meats, potato's and gravy, and it was a great combination. My wife had the breakfast tacos. The waiter suggested for her to put the green Tabasco sauce on it. She can't take the heat so she didn't. But she gave me a bit which I added the hot sauce and it went with the flavors on the tacos. I would get the tacos next time if we go back. They have a lunch menu and it looks really good so we may try them for lunch before we leave. This place was so good we went back for breakfast and lunch the next day before we left. Service was great and our waitress at breakfast remember us. The egg Benedict was wonderful along with the potatoes and the French toast was the best that I've tasted. It could have been the maple syrup. My wife said the waffle was the best she had. Now the person next to us got a waffle with fruit which my wife said she should have gotten since it looked better than what she had. Lunch was very good. I guess Montreal food is smoked but my sandwich had a great taste. The meat and the cheese including the bread made the sandwich. I didn't need anything else. I've eaten here many times. It is still good, but avoid the pancakes. The pancakes are consistently dry. The French toast is much better, but also can be drier than expected. I'm not sure if the issues are the recipe, overcooking or both. The only fix is to drench in syrup. The best plate is the omelette. The turkey bacon is unique. I really like it because it's not greasy and fatty like regular bacon. The toasted bread is also good. The smoothies are good.
