Came here for brunch with my cousin yesterday waited 30 minutes, roughly in line and I was so very thankful I got there when I did because the lineup just kept growing and growing as the time went on. All the staff in this facility were super nice and engaging our waiter Emre was fantastic. He definitely ensure our experience was top-notch from wobbly tables to changing cutlery. He definitely went above and beyond. As for the food I ordered Bobby does Dallas something and it was so much food, but it was incredible. You get to select the type of bread that you're gonna consume it with, ribeye thin strips were not overcooked - it was actually perfect and everything tasted so fresh honestly, I would definitely come back to get this dish again. Cousin had the salmon Benedict and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered pancakes, the lemon blueberry, one specifically. To me these pancakes if you were gonna take them with just base were very flat meaning no flavour the toppings the lemon blueberry compote sweet just wasn't for me to be honest. The food here is incredible! I had the lemon blueberry pancakes and wasn't disappointed at all! Also, very big portions so you could definitely spot a meal with someone or have leftovers for later. In terms of accessibility it's a bit of a nightmare. The tables are really close to each other making it hard for me a a cane user to walk around. TLDR - delicious food, big portions and a fast paced bustling restaurant - and get in the waitlist early if you are going for brunch on the weekends! Had a lovely brunch at L'Avenue in Toronto at the outdoor shopping center - The Well. My friend insisted we go because it's "hottest brunch spot in town". He was right - there was a huge line - but they have a waitlist! And make sure you get ahead of the crowd at the door, because it was a bit chaotic, and people who were waiting at the door didn't even realize there was a waitlist. The waitlist was easy - host took our name and phone number - and texted when the table was ready. Food was delicious and although the prices seemed high, the portions were actually very big. I had the "I'll have it all" - and this was a perfect mix of everything, but I couldn't finish it! My boyfriend got pancakes - same for him - he couldn't finish it because it was so rich! I'd definitely go back for the food - but would share dishes instead. The only catch is that it was too fast paced for me. The server was super nice - but I didn't feel like I had time to really order the right things and ask questions. So I'll go back for sure, but maybe when the heat dies down. Soooo Goood and a lot of food. We decided to go brunch. It was a Thursday. We did not make reservations. We normally do but we decided to risk it. We should have made reservations. This place was packed. Well worth the wait (20ish minutes) and reservations are very much needed. Decor was so cute. Very pop culture and reminiscent of an American diner as the servers were in mechanic's jumpers. Took a bit of time choosing everything looked good. Menu is via QR Code. I had the newest dish. I got 3/4 of the way through and had to tap out. Probably because I also had a breakfast smoothie. Everything was perfect except it was too busy!! Such a popular place! Visiting from out of town so I was brought here and I'm glad I came. Service was excellent. Server was friendly and helpful and very patient too. The food--generous portions which I love but also the quality was there. Beautiful presentation of food. I felt like I could just eat how much I wanted and took the rest home because I knew there would still be enough to make it worthwhile to take home. They had fresh squeezed orange juice and my Americano, although a simple coffee, was the best that I ever had as it was not too strong but not too weak. For my birthday brunch we arrived around 2pm and tried out this spot located in The Well. It was a bit of a wait for a table as they were busy and they don't accept reservations on weekends. We got a spot on the patio. The brunch menu had a lot of enticing options. We got the energy smoothie, iced strawberry matcha, steak and eggs Benny, and truffle duck eggs Benny. Unfortunately I would not order the matcha again. It did not have any taste of matcha at all, just milky flavour. The truffle duck eggs Benny however was delicious. But the roasted potatoes that come with the dish were too sweet, it needs hot sauce or something acidic to counter it. The presentation of the food was on point. Found this place on tiktok and decided to try it out! This restaurant has an indoor seating and outdoor patio for dining. We chose indoors as it was kinda chilly outside. Service was good and was pretty prompt. I ordered the Indecisive with Pistachio French Toast and Blueberry Iced Tea. You are able to choose the way you want your eggs cooked, the type of bread and type of protein you want! The raspberry compote was a tad bit tart for my liking but overall it was a delicious dish! The blueberry iced was really refreshing as well. The portions for the dish were bigger than what I expected! Very filling as well, so definitely worth the price. Let's talk brunch, usually many places have the same if not va very similar menu that is not the case with this brunch spot. The menu is large but not overwhelming from drinks to mains there is options that are right for everyone. The ambiance is very chill the bathrooms are have diffrent decor and vibes it's very cool. Getting into the food I don't even know where to begin we both opted for savoury options and they were both solid. The salmon Benny was good I'd rate it 7.5/10 I would've rated it higher if the bread wasn't as dense I'd prefer an English muffin or something that wasn't so hard to cut/bite into the egg was perfectly cooked and the salmon was great very fresh and evenly sliced the sauce added great flavour to the dish and brightens up the taste without overpowering the dish, the potatoes were good I would've prefer they be a bit more roasted and have some crisp to them but the flavour was good and paired with there house hot sauce amazing. Eggs benny served with mushrooms, caramelized onions, & their yummy green peppercorn-hollandaise sauce on an English muffin! I WANTED the red shakshuka but it looked liked a lot of food And has a bowl of feta (which I don't like.) Truffle duck was delicious. Espresso Martini was delicious. Oreo milkshake was delicious. When we decided to spend the day downtown recently, I knew I wanted to get some brunch right at the outset. I did a quick search and was quickly reminded of L'Avenue, which I'd been wanting to try. We showed up around 10:00 and were quickly shown to a table. I figured I should start out with some coffee, so I decided to go with the Tahini Latte. (I mean, I pretty much had to try it.) It's quite tasty. It does have a very mild tahini flavor, and it works surprisingly well with the coffee. For my main, I went ahead and ordered one of my personal brunch staples, the Huevos Rancheros ("2 tortillas filled with 3 scrambled organic eggs, black beans, house salsa, guacamole, lime crema sauce and topped with melted cheddar. Served with our L'Avenue breakfast potatoes.") It arrived a short time later and was absolutely massive. It was so big, in fact, that I wound up not even finishing it, even though I thought it was delicious. It's a very above-average variation on a classic dish, as everything works so well together and it's just packed with flavor. I asked for some hot sauce and it's also way better than expected. The breakfast potatoes are phenomenal, as well. They've got this addictive spicing on them, and the cook is right on point. So good. So happy this place opened in Toronto! This is a Montreal branch that recently opened its doors at the Well. Perfect for brunch, always a booked ou, you know the place is lit. There were so many different colors and decorations around the dining area, it was almost overwhelming to look at. It works well for a more casual breakfast, brunch, or lunch, with co-workers, family, or friends. My friends and I came here for Sunday brunch after the raves of this popular brunch in Montreal. We waited a bit over an hour just to get a table for 3 people. We ordered right away since we know what to get. The food took about 30 mins to come out. 2/3 of us got the pistachio and tiramisu French toast indecisive dishes. We split the two French toasts to try and I was disappointed as it was not like a traditional French toast where it was dipped in egg then fried. The raspberry compost on the pistachio was over powering and the toast was dried so I drenched it with maple syrup which made it too sweet. The tiramisu French toast was better because the crusts were removed and the cream on top. My friend got the salmon Benedict's and they overcooked the poached eggs when she asked for soft poach. My sunny side eggs were cooked to medium which was okay . The sausage was good. The kitchen also took a while to prepare the food as well. My friends were almost done their meal by the time I got my "remake". The final product was decent, but nothing crazy to rave about (food quality when made correctly: 7/10) Tip: Dress warmly in the winter, the line moves slow and goes right out the door! This is the second time I've tried this new spot! The space is an homage to both its original roots and the building itself. It's housed inside the Globe and Mail so that's why you'll see the art in the lobby area. But entering the space you're innudated with walls covered with street art by Benny Wilding (even the sneakers on the ceiling) covering the walls. It's a quirky space with skateboards, a motorcycle and a statuesque model of "Bridgette " in a corner . Fun fact: Bridgette has been with the company since 1994 in Montreal. Those legs have definitely been put to use. But on to food. Their brunch menu is a behemoth of options. IReally love truffle so the rib eye steak and avocado were on Point. The red shakshuka with North African sauce has a great depth of flavour with a kick. And we had to have the whole soft shell crab sandwich out of curiosity and just to try it - filling and delicious. We actually tried all of the exotic smoothies on offer. There's There's a range on offer I particularly loved the rejuvenate... but choose whatever your palette has a preference for. We also had their Vietnamese coiffed and pistachio latte. So pretty! Lots of choice and if you want to entertain yourself and your Instagram - the themed bathrooms are wicked. We ordered The Indecisive, which featured the Pistachio French Toast, and another one with Tiramisu French Toast. The raspberry coulis was a bit overpowering, overshadowing the pistachio flavor, so I think the tiramisu option was much more enjoyable. Personally, I loved the potatoes and the Montreal-style bagel. The person managing the tables was rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping. The space is unbelievably cramped. Tables are packed so tightly that they had to move other tables just so I could sit down -- and I'm a tall, lean person who normally fits anywhere. Staff can barely move between tables to take orders. You're basically forced to sit shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers, listening to their conversations. Extremely uncomfortable and poorly organized. In case of an emergency, you are essentially locked between tables and would not be able to exit quickly, which feels unsafe. This restaurant, which opened in September 2024, captures the essence of the Montréal locations, but slightly misses the mark on the food. I ordered my favorite dish - the indecisive with the lemon ricotta pancakes. The potatoes were great, the rest of the meal was good, but falls short of the absolutely delicious flavours captured in Montréal. The energy smoothie was another highlight. They do not take reservations, but if you come after lunch, you can still get their famous brunch until 4pm. Located in the Well, a big, gleaming new shopping/wellness facility in downtown TO, this restaurant is busy for good reason, but the food can improve slightly to get a five star rating. read more

The menu has some creative brunch options that were very delicious. The inside has a cool atmosphere but we sat outside on the patio that was nice and covered. Service was prompt and friendly. Would definitely recommend for some yummy benedicts. read more

I've been to L'Avenue in Montreal so was excited to try the Toronto location to see if everything lives up. It's just alright. I got the Bobby Does Dallas which was a hearty serving of eggs, steak, mushrooms and onions along with a bagel. The steak was one big jumble of meat and it was a bit difficult to mix it in with the other components in the bowl. The service while friendly, did take awhile for our dishes to arrive. The prices are definitely on the high end - I guess as it is located within the Well area. While I did not have to wait long, I wish there would be some sort of online waitlist option. read more

A superior spot for brunch! The dining room has a polished feel and the staff are warm and attentive. The classic Eggs Benedict stood out -- the English muffin retained a pleasant crunch under the rich, buttery hollandaise, and the poached eggs were cooked just right. The home-style potatoes are known for being excellent, and this visit confirmed it. Portion sizes are satisfying and flavours are well balanced.
