We were very fortunate to be accommodated for brunch despite making reservations on the same day. We had an exceptional server, who introduced us to good food and drinks. I loved the Dubai chocolate French toast. It was great blend of chocolate and pistachios. I also enjoyed my Thai Chicken. It could've used a little more kick to it. But it was a good combination of rice, egg. Vegetables and chicken meat. I love the vibes of the restaurant. It's very vibrant. It's conducive for a business brunch or a family gathering.

Came here for brunch with my cousin yesterday waited 30 minutes, roughly in line and I was so very thankful I got there when I did because the lineup just kept growing and growing as the time went on. All the staff in this facility were super nice and engaging our waiter Emre was fantastic. He definitely ensure our experience was top-notch from wobbly tables to changing cutlery. He definitely went above and beyond. As for the food I ordered Bobby does Dallas something and it was so much food, but it was incredible. You get to select the type of bread that you're gonna consume it with, ribeye thin strips were not overcooked - it was actually perfect and everything tasted so fresh honestly, I would definitely come back to get this dish again. Cousin had the salmon Benedict and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered pancakes, the lemon blueberry, one specifically. To me these pancakes if you were gonna take them with just base were very flat meaning no flavour the toppings the lemon blueberry compote sweet just wasn't for me to be honest. Overall good experience, long wait and probably come during the week rather than a weekend so I can make reservations.

The food here is incredible! I had the lemon blueberry pancakes and wasn't disappointed at all! Also, very big portions so you could definitely spot a meal with someone or have leftovers for later. In terms of accessibility it's a bit of a nightmare. The tables are really close to each other making it hard for me a a cane user to walk around. On the upside no stairs to get into the building or to use the washroom. It was rainy when I came here for brunch but the atmosphere inside was fun and vibrant! Definitely check it out for Brunch if you're going to the Well!

TLDR - delicious food, big portions and a fast paced bustling restaurant - and get in the waitlist early if you are going for brunch on the weekends! Had a lovely brunch at L'Avenue in Toronto at the outdoor shopping center - The Well. My friend insisted we go because it's "hottest brunch spot in town". He was right - there was a huge line - but they have a waitlist! And make sure you get ahead of the crowd at the door, because it was a bit chaotic, and people who were waiting at the door didn't even realize there was a waitlist. The waitlist was easy - host took our name and phone number - and texted when the table was ready. Food was delicious and although the prices seemed high, the portions were actually very big. I had the "I'll have it all" - and this was a perfect mix of everything, but I couldn't finish it! My boyfriend got pancakes - same for him - he couldn't finish it because it was so rich! I'd definitely go back for the food - but would share dishes instead. The only catch is that it was too fast paced for me. The server was super nice - but I didn't feel like I had time to really order the right things and ask questions. So I'll go back for sure, but maybe when the heat dies down. The bathrooms were single occupent all genders.

Huge portions of food, and extremely fluffy pancakes. We watched a couple order the pancake flight but only eat half which could definitely fill five people. Fun upbeat place to get the morning started.

Soooo Goood and a lot of food. We decided to go brunch. It was a Thursday. We did not make reservations. We normally do but we decided to risk it. We should have made reservations. This place was packed. Well worth the wait (20ish minutes) and reservations are very much needed. Decor was so cute. Very pop culture and reminiscent of an American diner as the servers were in mechanic's jumpers. Took a bit of time choosing everything looked good. Menu is via QR Code. I had the newest dish. I got 3/4 of the way through and had to tap out. Probably because I also had a breakfast smoothie. Would have take the rest to go if it wasn't for the fact that we had other plans and would not be going home right away. No one was disappointed with their choices. Must check out the bathrooms.

This immensely popular brunch spot from Montreal is now in Toronto. They dont accept reservations on weekends so had to wait an hour for a table for two. The seating is a bit cranked together but the decor is cool with a fun vibe. Music was too loud for the morning hours but maybe I'm getting too old...lol The food was delicious! We ordered items from their 'indecisive' section of the menu. It's great for people like me who can't decide between sweet or savoury brunch options. The food was top notch. Overall, a fab experience - i'd definitely return.

For my birthday brunch we arrived around 2pm and tried out this spot located in The Well. It was a bit of a wait for a table as they were busy and they don't accept reservations on weekends. We got a spot on the patio. The brunch menu had a lot of enticing options. We got the energy smoothie, iced strawberry matcha, steak and eggs Benny, and truffle duck eggs Benny. Unfortunately I would not order the matcha again. It did not have any taste of matcha at all, just milky flavour. The truffle duck eggs Benny however was delicious. But the roasted potatoes that come with the dish were too sweet, it needs hot sauce or something acidic to counter it. The presentation of the food was on point. There were other menu options I was eyeing so hopefully will come again to try! Will pass on the drinks next time though, too pricey for what it is.

Found this place on tiktok and decided to try it out! This restaurant has an indoor seating and outdoor patio for dining. We chose indoors as it was kinda chilly outside. Service was good and was pretty prompt. I ordered the Indecisive with Pistachio French Toast and Blueberry Iced Tea. You are able to choose the way you want your eggs cooked, the type of bread and type of protein you want! The raspberry compote was a tad bit tart for my liking but overall it was a delicious dish! The blueberry iced was really refreshing as well. The portions for the dish were bigger than what I expected! Very filling as well, so definitely worth the price. There are quite a few options for brunch and drinks so everyone can try something different!

Pretty sizeable portion size. I got the benny and couldn't finish it. The picture shows one benny but you get two. Service was pretty prompt and available, and the ambiance can be a little loud but not obnoxious. 4 stars only because I thought the price was slightly high for what you're getting, but about what you'd expect for the area.

Everything was perfect except it was too busy!! Such a popular place! Visiting from out of town so I was brought here and I'm glad I came. Service was excellent. Server was friendly and helpful and very patient too. The food--generous portions which I love but also the quality was there. Beautiful presentation of food. I felt like I could just eat how much I wanted and took the rest home because I knew there would still be enough to make it worthwhile to take home. They had fresh squeezed orange juice and my Americano, although a simple coffee, was the best that I ever had as it was not too strong but not too weak. The ambiance was so nice and colourful with interesting decor to look at. It was too loud to hear at times though but still I would highly recommend.

Indecisive blueberry pancakes, matcha pancakes. Stir fried rice

The restaurant is great, very clean. Our server was great and patient, she helped the kids with menu choices. The food was delicious as usual and plenty, we had the fried rice to share (it was soooooooo delicious)! The kids ordered matcha drinks which they both enjoyed and I had a delicious margarita, my daughter got the Matcha pancakes she enjoyed them. All the other food was delicious as well looked just like the picture and is made to order.

Late to the game, but finally tried this new brunch spot at The Well called @lavenuetoronto ! Since I'm a hoe for mushrooms, I ordered the Saint-Ambroise. Eggs benny served with mushrooms, caramelized onions, & their yummy green peppercorn-hollandaise sauce on an English muffin! Love the shroom-iness of this dish Also got a smoothie to drink, in my healthy girl era or whatever. I got the Rejuvenate smoothie, it comes with mangoes, pineapples, lychee & maple syrup. HUGE & very refreshing! Service was a little slow, took a while for the dishes to come out but overall I would come back & try the other dishes!

From the hostess to the waitstaff. All very polite and welcoming. We observed them with other guests and they seemed very patient with the loud kids...and adults to be fair. LOL We had the big skillet both days as well as the breakfast sandwich. While there were some variances, we enjoyed both experiences. The first visit was better in my opinion - the potatoes were tender and not overcooked and my fruit cup didn't have a lot of cantaloupe. I have shared pictures of the menu as well. We had sparkling water and diet cola both times. Our beverages never ran dry. There is an upstairs that overlooks the first floor dining area. We wondered if anyone had ever spilled a beverage that landed on guests below. We could definitely see the possibility of that happening. They also had a nice patio, however, on the hotter days, not sure how enjoyable the city smell would be while trying to eat. Interesting - they only had one bathroom. So we observed a line. And there are tables right next to the door. I would avoid those seats if possible. A little too close to the restroom in my opinion. If we are in the area again, we would definitely eat here again, although they may be at the new location if we visit in the future. I look forward to seeing the upgraded features at the new location.

Pierina guided us via phone and even came outside of the restaurant and waved as we approached. That was awesome Customer service as well as kindness. Ambiance was chill inside. Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. Her welcoming attitude attentiveness and knowledge of the menu was stellar and warrants recognition. Thank you!!!

The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. Food (3.5/5) - the menu is a combination of small and large plates ideal for sharing. A cosmopolitan menu of diverse items from many different cuisines. - Baja Caesar Salad - baby romaine, corn, caesar dressing, agave bacon, croutons, grana padano, chili spice. This was pretty good, romaine was fresh and sauce not too overpowering with a slight kick to it. - Coconut Shrimp with mango salsa, lime, chipotle aioli. Also pretty good... shrimp was cooked fine and the garnishes worked with it. - Tuna Ceviche with avocado, cilantro, corn, red onions, leche de tigre, cancha, plantain. This one was average. The sashimi chunks were pretty average and the overall mix seemed to lack flavour and moistness. - Hamachi Crudo with avocado, elderflower, pickled strawberry, jalapeño, pistachio, basil, olive oil. This was one pretty bad... some of the worst hamachi I have ever had! Overly fishy and off-colour. Service (4/5) - server and assistants were friendly and generally attentive. Some lapses in check ins from time to time. Rooftop is first come, first serve so a reservation does not mean you will be seated quickly and may have to hang out in the interior bar or tables until ready. Atmosphere (4.75/5) - you really cannot top the view from Kost. It has multiple look out areas besides the patio dining area by the infinity pool. They have a raised photo pedestal which is ideal to take pictures with the Tower, Rogers Centre and lake in the background. They also have some trendy couches and sitting areas as well. The interior dining area is also pretty good with window views outside and a California vibe to it. Overall (4/5) - Yes, the food is on the average side for the price. However, it really is a great atmosphere for dining, even if sitting inside. It is a bucket list destination at a minimum and worth a repeat imo.

And the DJ wasn't just putting music on shuffle either or just playing old hits, so at least there was effort. I split with someone else and tried the smoked salmon eggs benedict which had hollandaise with beet mixed in (hence the colour). It was really good and my only regret is waiting a few minutes to try it since I started with the pancakes first (more on that), but it meant the egg cooled down. But that's on me. I liked the hashbrowns too and the house salad. The pancakes with blueberry compote and lemon ricotta were amazing.
