We were very fortunate to be accommodated for brunch despite making reservations on the same day. We had an exceptional server, who introduced us to good food and drinks. I loved the Dubai chocolate French toast. It was great blend of chocolate and pistachios. I also enjoyed my Thai Chicken. It could've used a little more kick to it. But it was a good combination of rice, egg. Vegetables and chicken meat. I love the vibes of the restaurant. It's very vibrant. It's conducive for a business brunch or a family gathering.
Came here for brunch with my cousin yesterday waited 30 minutes, roughly in line and I was so very thankful I got there when I did because the lineup just kept growing and growing as the time went on. All the staff in this facility were super nice and engaging our waiter Emre was fantastic. He definitely ensure our experience was top-notch from wobbly tables to changing cutlery. He definitely went above and beyond. As for the food I ordered Bobby does Dallas something and it was so much food, but it was incredible. You get to select the type of bread that you're gonna consume it with, ribeye thin strips were not overcooked - it was actually perfect and everything tasted so fresh honestly, I would definitely come back to get this dish again. Cousin had the salmon Benedict and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered pancakes, the lemon blueberry, one specifically. To me these pancakes if you were gonna take them with just base were very flat meaning no flavour the toppings the lemon blueberry compote sweet just wasn't for me to be honest. Overall good experience, long wait and probably come during the week rather than a weekend so I can make reservations.
The food here is incredible! I had the lemon blueberry pancakes and wasn't disappointed at all! Also, very big portions so you could definitely spot a meal with someone or have leftovers for later. In terms of accessibility it's a bit of a nightmare. The tables are really close to each other making it hard for me a a cane user to walk around. On the upside no stairs to get into the building or to use the washroom. It was rainy when I came here for brunch but the atmosphere inside was fun and vibrant! Definitely check it out for Brunch if you're going to the Well!
TLDR - delicious food, big portions and a fast paced bustling restaurant - and get in the waitlist early if you are going for brunch on the weekends! Had a lovely brunch at L'Avenue in Toronto at the outdoor shopping center - The Well. My friend insisted we go because it's "hottest brunch spot in town". He was right - there was a huge line - but they have a waitlist! And make sure you get ahead of the crowd at the door, because it was a bit chaotic, and people who were waiting at the door didn't even realize there was a waitlist. The waitlist was easy - host took our name and phone number - and texted when the table was ready. Food was delicious and although the prices seemed high, the portions were actually very big. I had the "I'll have it all" - and this was a perfect mix of everything, but I couldn't finish it! My boyfriend got pancakes - same for him - he couldn't finish it because it was so rich! I'd definitely go back for the food - but would share dishes instead. The only catch is that it was too fast paced for me. The server was super nice - but I didn't feel like I had time to really order the right things and ask questions. So I'll go back for sure, but maybe when the heat dies down. The bathrooms were single occupent all genders.
Huge portions of food, and extremely fluffy pancakes. We watched a couple order the pancake flight but only eat half which could definitely fill five people. Fun upbeat place to get the morning started.
Soooo Goood and a lot of food. We decided to go brunch. It was a Thursday. We did not make reservations. We normally do but we decided to risk it. We should have made reservations. This place was packed. Well worth the wait (20ish minutes) and reservations are very much needed. Decor was so cute. Very pop culture and reminiscent of an American diner as the servers were in mechanic's jumpers. Took a bit of time choosing everything looked good. Menu is via QR Code. I had the newest dish. I got 3/4 of the way through and had to tap out. Probably because I also had a breakfast smoothie. Would have take the rest to go if it wasn't for the fact that we had other plans and would not be going home right away. No one was disappointed with their choices. Must check out the bathrooms.
This immensely popular brunch spot from Montreal is now in Toronto. They dont accept reservations on weekends so had to wait an hour for a table for two. The seating is a bit cranked together but the decor is cool with a fun vibe. Music was too loud for the morning hours but maybe I'm getting too old...lol The food was delicious! We ordered items from their 'indecisive' section of the menu. It's great for people like me who can't decide between sweet or savoury brunch options. The food was top notch. Overall, a fab experience - i'd definitely return.
For my birthday brunch we arrived around 2pm and tried out this spot located in The Well. It was a bit of a wait for a table as they were busy and they don't accept reservations on weekends. We got a spot on the patio. The brunch menu had a lot of enticing options. We got the energy smoothie, iced strawberry matcha, steak and eggs Benny, and truffle duck eggs Benny. Unfortunately I would not order the matcha again. It did not have any taste of matcha at all, just milky flavour. The truffle duck eggs Benny however was delicious. But the roasted potatoes that come with the dish were too sweet, it needs hot sauce or something acidic to counter it. The presentation of the food was on point. There were other menu options I was eyeing so hopefully will come again to try! Will pass on the drinks next time though, too pricey for what it is.
Found this place on tiktok and decided to try it out! This restaurant has an indoor seating and outdoor patio for dining. We chose indoors as it was kinda chilly outside. Service was good and was pretty prompt. I ordered the Indecisive with Pistachio French Toast and Blueberry Iced Tea. You are able to choose the way you want your eggs cooked, the type of bread and type of protein you want! The raspberry compote was a tad bit tart for my liking but overall it was a delicious dish! The blueberry iced was really refreshing as well. The portions for the dish were bigger than what I expected! Very filling as well, so definitely worth the price. There are quite a few options for brunch and drinks so everyone can try something different!

Service was pretty prompt and available, and the ambiance can be a little loud but not obnoxious. 4 stars only because I thought the price was slightly high for what you're getting, but about what you'd expect for the area.
Everything was perfect except it was too busy!! Such a popular place! Visiting from out of town so I was brought here and I'm glad I came. Service was excellent. Server was friendly and helpful and very patient too. The food--generous portions which I love but also the quality was there. Beautiful presentation of food. I felt like I could just eat how much I wanted and took the rest home because I knew there would still be enough to make it worthwhile to take home. They had fresh squeezed orange juice and my Americano, although a simple coffee, was the best that I ever had as it was not too strong but not too weak. The ambiance was so nice and colourful with interesting decor to look at. It was too loud to hear at times though but still I would highly recommend.
The restaurant is great, very clean. Our server was great and patient, she helped the kids with menu choices. The food was delicious as usual and plenty, we had the fried rice to share (it was soooooooo delicious)! The kids ordered matcha drinks which they both enjoyed and I had a delicious margarita, my daughter got the Matcha pancakes she enjoyed them. All the other food was delicious as well looked just like the picture and is made to order.
Late to the game, but finally tried this new brunch spot at The Well called @lavenuetoronto ! Since I'm a hoe for mushrooms, I ordered the Saint-Ambroise. Eggs benny served with mushrooms, caramelized onions, & their yummy green peppercorn-hollandaise sauce on an English muffin! Love the shroom-iness of this dish Also got a smoothie to drink, in my healthy girl era or whatever. I got the Rejuvenate smoothie, it comes with mangoes, pineapples, lychee & maple syrup. HUGE & very refreshing! Service was a little slow, took a while for the dishes to come out but overall I would come back & try the other dishes!
I can't fully decide if I like this place or not. It's located at The Well and there was a line up for Saturday brunch. The line moved quick, even though it wrapped around, we waited for about 20 minutes only. The menu has some cool items, a few fusion dishes and trendy items. Awesome presentation and definitely Instagram worthy. I got the huevos rancheros, it was more like an egg burrito with beans, sauce and potatoes on top. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. It was hard to flag him down for anything. It was not a nice experience. The menu does have some other cool items I do want to try (pancakes and french toast)... so maybe I will give it another shot if I am in the area one day. read more
Went at 12:30 pm on a Saturday. There was a line, but as we were a table for 2 we got seated immediately. Looks like tables of 3 or more needed to wait slightly longer. Very friendly service (server was Crystal). Sat outside and still was attended to attentively - typically worried that patio seating gets less attention but that wasn't the case here. The menu excited me as brunch usually is a choice between sweet or savoury, but they have various options with both. Got the Indecisive with the eggs poached medium ( would recommend soft for future or sunny side up). The pistachio latte was yummy but with the matcha pancakes it became too sugary of a meal. Overall a casual yet put together vibe. Great for friends, dates, solo, or family. Washrooms not the cleanest, but the dining area was good. Did notice a few more birds than typical patios (tried to eat our scraps as we were waiting for the bill). read more
Came here for a weekday brunch and had no problem getting a table. It was still busy but was not too loud. The menu has lots of options and even has a section for those who are indecisive, which is a mix of different items. I ended up getting the steak and eggs Benny. The portion was really generous and I only finished about half of it. read more

This place was fun and loud. The energy was great and the food was fantastic. There was a little mishap with our order but they graciously fixed it and gave us the wrong order as well. The steak Benedict was delicious and I will be back to eat it again! read more
Fantastic and well known Montreal brunch spot has landed in Toronto. It gets busy and you can't reserve on weekends but they do have a large patio space. Check out their offerings including Dubai Chocolate French toast! Very fun vibe and pssst. Make sure you check out their restrooms. They are "themed" - my fave being the super hero one! Seriously - the real star is the food and they offer "undecided" plates that have a bit of everything for those that can't decide what to have! Parking is in The Well and closest TTC spot is King and Spadina. read more
Very glad I made a reservation. I was 20min early but seated immediately. Patio seating available. Menu is qr code on table. Berry me not or Espresso martini. Waitress chose martini. I WANTED the red shakshuka but it looked liked a lot of food And has a bowl of feta (which I don't like.) Truffle duck was delicious. Espresso Martini was delicious. Oreo milkshake was delicious. The atmosphere is bright & fun. I would definitely come back here. Orders take time, but you can tell it's fresh and hot/just made. I know my waitress didn't think I'd use the spoon I asked for to scoop out the whipped cream on my milkshake. lol (If it's not listed & comes with an item, i just remove it if I can.) If trying to apply or fix makeup, you're going to need the flashlight on your camera in the restrooms. The cycling colors are pretty but terrible for reapplying lipstick. read more
Great brunch spot originated from Montreal. There's usually a wait on weekends and they don't take reservations. Food portions are huge and great for sharing. If you don't know what to get , I recommend the "indecisive" as it comes sweet and savoury dish. Service was average. Washrooms are okay. Few parking is available on Wellington and Portland. read more
When we decided to spend the day downtown recently, I knew I wanted to get some brunch right at the outset. I did a quick search and was quickly reminded of L'Avenue, which I'd been wanting to try. We showed up around 10:00 and were quickly shown to a table. I figured I should start out with some coffee, so I decided to go with the Tahini Latte. (I mean, I pretty much had to try it.) It's quite tasty. It does have a very mild tahini flavor, and it works surprisingly well with the coffee. For my main, I went ahead and ordered one of my personal brunch staples, the Huevos Rancheros ("2 tortillas filled with 3 scrambled organic eggs, black beans, house salsa, guacamole, lime crema sauce and topped with melted cheddar. Served with our L'Avenue breakfast potatoes.") It arrived a short time later and was absolutely massive. It was so big, in fact, that I wound up not even finishing it, even though I thought it was delicious. It's a very above-average variation on a classic dish, as everything works so well together and it's just packed with flavor. I asked for some hot sauce and it's also way better than expected. The breakfast potatoes are phenomenal, as well. They've got this addictive spicing on them, and the cook is right on point. So good. I can see why L'Avenue is so popular, and I'm excited to try their dinner fare. read more
So happy this place opened in Toronto! This is a Montreal branch that recently opened its doors at the Well. Perfect for brunch, always a booked ou, you know the place is lit. Although they were booked out, my friend and I walked in around 11am and were seated within 10-15mins. The place was very busy, but the service was fast and attentive. Their menu has tons of delicious options. It was hard to decide what to get, savoury, sweet. Thankfully they have an indecisive section which has both sweet and savoury options. I went with the chicken sausage, eggs, potatoes and a Dubai chocolate French toast. This also came with a choice of your bread, I opted for sourdough. They're known for their maple syrup that comes with their French toast. Each meal is around $20-25. Everything was delicious, the serving is huge! I will definitely be back. read more

Let's talk brunch, usually many places have the same if not va very similar menu that is not the case with this brunch spot. The menu is large but not overwhelming from drinks to mains there is options that are right for everyone. The ambiance is very chill the bathrooms are have diffrent decor and vibes it's very cool. The service here was good the staff checked in on us regularly and made sure we were satisfied. Getting into the food I don't even know where to begin we both opted for savoury options and they were both solid. The salmon Benny was good I'd rate it 7.5/10 I would've rated it higher if the bread wasn't as dense I'd prefer an English muffin or something that wasn't so hard to cut/bite into the egg was perfectly cooked and the salmon was great very fresh and evenly sliced the sauce added great flavour to the dish and brightens up the taste without overpowering the dish, the potatoes were good I would've prefer they be a bit more roasted and have some crisp to them but the flavour was good and paired with there house hot sauce amazing. Getting into the friend rice 10/10 honestly no complaints the portion size is a good option if you want to share but the flavour packed into this dish was so intentionally thought out cause there's so many things in it you'd think it's be too chaotic but this was the best fried rice I've had the special sauce was very good and the chili oil was the perfect hint of spice the kimchi was a good burst of freshness and the eg was perfect I have no notes on this dish if you go here I'd defiantly reccomend you order this read more
I came here with 3 others for brunch on a Sunday. The space is small and cramped, and a bit of a challenge to move around in. The menu is overpriced and the food is mid, but they give a lot of food. The omelette, for example, contains 6 eggs. The service was incredibly meh. It was very slow, considering there's a 2 hour dining limit for weekend brunch. We had to keep flagging our server down, even when getting change after we paid the bill. We paid cash, included the tip, and after 10 minutes, I had to find the server for our change. When asked about this, he simply said "you didn't say anything so I assumed you didn't want the change." As a diner, it's assumed you'll bring the change back, especially when the tip has been paid. read more

Huge portions of brunch food, with a twist Atmosphere: The place was very colourful and packed for a Tuesday lunch hour service. There were so many different colors and decorations around the dining area, it was almost overwhelming to look at. It works well for a more casual breakfast, brunch, or lunch, with co-workers, family, or friends. Food: The portions were very large for brunch, even the salmon benny which looks quite small in the photos online. The eggs were perfectly poached with liquid and runny centres, and beautifully made. I would have appreciated a little bit more smoked salmon at the price point, but the food tasted great. The potatoes had some nice seasoning on them as well, and didn't need any ketchup or sauces to go with it. Service: The staff was quite friendly and welcoming, although the food came out quite slow considering that many tables have already been served and we got our order in pretty quickly. It took almost half an hour to get our food, with only a table of three. Overall, great spot if you're craving some brunch food and want something a little bit different from standard waffles or pancakes. read more
Great to see this famous restaurant open a Toronto location. Tried our regular favorite of Sweet Savory & Crunchy and also the Pig Belly Russell. Both were great but the Sweet Savory Crunchy could have been more crunchy. I would also say the potatoes and the Big Belly Russel could use a tad more seasoning (I added some salt to them). Went on a weekday which wasn't busy. Service was very friendly as well. Worth checking out and now I am not sure if I need to visit Montreal as often! read more
Toronto's best breakfast and brunch restaurant is from Montreal. L'Avenue at the Well in downtown Toronto on Front street offers a fun and tasty breakfast and brunch menu to suite most tastes. I had a Pink Benny (Eggs Florentine with Salmon and a pink hollandaise cream sauce) on a bagel instead of a bun, which was simply delicious. Together with freshly squeezed orange juice it was the perfect brunch. Have your choice of a large outdoor patio (it was too hot for the patio so I ate inside) or a funky interior, the service is attentive and quick. read more

L'Avenue at The Well is one of our go-to brunch spots. The portions are generous, the food always hits the spot, and the menu has great variety. I love their "Indecisive" option for both sweet and savoury in one meal, but their savoury items stand strong too--tried the chicken and waffles and it was so good. The vibe is bright and fun, the place is clean, and even the washrooms have a bold, pop-art design that adds to the experience. There's usually a line, so it's worth booking ahead. Bonus points for unlimited maple syrup and massive smoothies (we always share one). Great spot for a satisfying brunch in a lively setting. read more
First time trying Saturday brunch at L'Avenue! Fairly easy to get a table for 2 which was a nice surprise. Put my name on the waitlist around 11:45 and don't think I waited more than 15 min! Decor is bright and funky. Tables are a bit too close together for my liking. Can barely get to your table squeezing behind other dining chairs, not to mention it's like eavesdropping on other loud conversations. Staff could probably use a bit more space to be able to serve. Would avoid food flying off a plate as we witnessed yesterday! Food: I chose the chai latte & the indecisive plate that featured the carrot cake pancakes, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and toasted baguette. Overall everything was great. -The scrambled eggs were creamy and perfectly done. Portion was on small side. -The carrot cake pancakes were fantastic... super moist and flavourful. If you are a fan of carrot cake, then you won't be disappointed. They could probably make a smaller pancake. The portion was quite generous. I didn't finish it. -The bacon, was ok. It was too chewy for my liking. Just needed a bit more of a crisp. -The baguette was lovely. Perfectly toasted with some butter. The menu is quite extensive with lots of food and drink options. I would consider coming back to try the lunch option, but it looks to be only available weekdays. read more
Came with a decent sized group and were able to get a lunchtime reservation. So many options on the menu, so it was hard to decide what to get! I ended up going for the bobby does barbacoa which was a like a breakfast skillet. I ordered it with the baguette and I got a pistachio latte to drink. The latte was good, not too sweet. I don't think I'd get it again though. It wasn't very well-mixed but I just don't think I loved it. The bobby does barbacoa was really tasty but quite oily. It's definitely on the pricier side, but that's rather typical of The Well. I think with such a wide menu, it's a good place for a group. read more
Brunched at L'Avenue in The Well recently and it was a great experience for a quick bite. The vibe is modern and lively, making it a perfect spot to catch up with friends or just treat yourself to a nice meal out. The service was super friendly and attentive, which always makes a difference. I had the Huevos Rancheros, and it hit the spot--a soft corn tortilla with, perfectly seasoned beans, avocado, fresh salsa, and scrambled eggs. Simple but so satisfying. Went for brunch on a weekday. The place is very cute. I got the soft shell crab sandwich which was good. Food took a very long time to arrive because the servers originally brought our food to the wrong table. After the other table flagged that the food was not theirs, they brought it directly from their table to our table which felt a bit gross, especially since it was sitting there for a while. My friends and I came here for Sunday brunch after the raves of this popular brunch in Montreal. We waited a bit over an hour just to get a table for 3 people. We ordered right away since we know what to get. The food took about 30 mins to come out. 2/3 of us got the pistachio and tiramisu French toast indecisive dishes. We split the two French toasts to try and I was disappointed as it was not like a traditional French toast where it was dipped in egg then fried. The raspberry compost on the pistachio was over powering and the toast was dried so I drenched it with maple syrup which made it too sweet. The tiramisu French toast was better because the crusts were removed and the cream on top. My friend got the salmon Benedict's and they overcooked the poached eggs when she asked for soft poach. My sunny side eggs were cooked to medium which was okay . The sausage was good. The potato side dish were cold, I thought it was like a potato salad but it was supposed to be hot but I ate it anyways. The Montreal bagels were my favourite of all of the food I got. I didn't bother getting any drinks. I didn't get the hype imo. It definitely was not worth waiting for a total of 1.5 hours of wait. If you want to try it. Unfortunately this location does not live up to its hype. Their Montreal location is significantly better! I went with a few friends and 2/3 of our dishes came cold/ made incorrectly. The server also failed to perform any quality check and had a very unprofessional sense of humour. I felt like he didn't own up to his mistake/ poor customer service. The kitchen also took a while to prepare the food as well. My friends were almost done their meal by the time I got my "remake". The final product was decent, but nothing crazy to rave about (food quality when made correctly: 7/10) Tip: Dress warmly in the winter, the line moves slow and goes right out the door! Please note that is pretty standard to anticipate having to line up for brunch at most given GTA brunch spots. If you have babies/ dining with elders, I would recommend going to an alternative brunch venue that takes reservations. This establishes does not accept reservations for their weekend brunch service. Pro: You don't need to travel to Montreal to try this "franchise" Cons: Horrible customer service. read more

This is the second time I've tried this new spot! The space is an homage to both its original roots and the building itself. It's housed inside the Globe and Mail so that's why you'll see the art in the lobby area. But entering the space you're innudated with walls covered with street art by Benny Wilding (even the sneakers on the ceiling) covering the walls. It's a quirky space with skateboards, a motorcycle and a statuesque model of "Bridgette " in a corner . Fun fact: Bridgette has been with the company since 1994 in Montreal. Those legs have definitely been put to use. But on to food. Their brunch menu is a behemoth of options. IReally love truffle so the rib eye steak and avocado were on Point. The red shakshuka with North African sauce has a great depth of flavour with a kick. And we had to have the whole soft shell crab sandwich out of curiosity and just to try it - filling and delicious. We actually tried all of the exotic smoothies on offer. There's There's a range on offer I particularly loved the rejuvenate... but choose whatever your palette has a preference for. We also had their Vietnamese coiffed and pistachio latte. So pretty! Lots of choice and if you want to entertain yourself and your Instagram - the themed bathrooms are wicked. The mirrors, graffiti and changing scenery is just insane . The first time we were here. We waited and waited for everything. It took a long time but this time round a world of difference ! We arrived on a Monday morning and were promptly seated. I liked the vibrant decor of the restaurant. It created a lively atmosphere. We ordered The Indecisive, which featured the Pistachio French Toast, and another one with Tiramisu French Toast. The raspberry coulis was a bit overpowering, overshadowing the pistachio flavor, so I think the tiramisu option was much more enjoyable. Personally, I loved the potatoes and the Montreal-style bagel. Unfortunately, the food took quite a while to arrive, and the service was the such a letdown. It was challenging to catch our server's attention, and requests often slipped their mind, requiring us to ask multiple times. I really hope they improve on this for our next visit. By the time we left, there was a line out the door. Given the service experience, I wouldn't consider returning if there's a wait, so I sincerely hope they make some improvements. read more

Prices were decent - huveos rancheros was amazing! Would get again. Lee was a kind server! They have happy hour 3:00-9:00pm. Next time I'm in Toronto, you can find me here with friends. Lively spot with today's top hits playing. read more
