Our server, Megan, was so very nice and helpful to us with recommdations of the menu. Every question that we had about drinks and ingredients, Megan knew the answers right off the bat. Megan constantly checked in on how we were doing without it being neither excessive or neglectful. I just loved Megan and she deserves a raise. The food was really good. I enjoyed the "matcha mood" with strawberry syrup. Delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness amd hint of vanilla. Listen, everybody doesn't get matcha right, but TMA hit the mark! I'd been meaning to come for quite some time here. Granted it was a Saturday and it was ahead of a World Cup game, but the volume from the in-house DJ was LOUD. That's clearly the vibe they're going for, but you should know ahead. A bit funny that part of the restaurant theme is curing a hangover from the night before when they have music at club volume, but whatever. And the DJ wasn't just putting music on shuffle either or just playing old hits, so at least there was effort. I split with someone else and tried the smoked salmon eggs benedict which had hollandaise with beet mixed in (hence the colour). It was really good and my only regret is waiting a few minutes to try it since I started with the pancakes first (more on that), but it meant the egg cooled down. But that's on me. I liked the hashbrowns too and the house salad. The pancakes with blueberry compote and lemon ricotta were amazing. Loved the texture, the quality and lightness of the ricotta and I always love lemon with blueberries. Will definitely get this again. We didn't have to wait long and were seated promptly. I will say it is a trendy spot playing 90's- 2000's music and the space can be small inside. Anyway we were seated and the waitress attended to our table promptly. Service was a bit slow as expected but the food made up for that. I ordered the down under Benedict and a unicorn latte. Aside from the presentation, the unicorn latte didn't really taste of marshmallow flavoring. It wasn't bad, but I was expecting more. Now the Benedict was delicious and filling! Lobster mix paired well with the smoky cheese, paprika, and chives. I'm not a huge fan of home fries, but theirs were so full of flavor. My friends ordered a mimosa flight (Mmmimosa-go-round) which was presented beautifully. The flavor was subtle in the one I tried, but it was good. Despite being around -20 outside, there was still a reasonable amount of people! I came around 10am-ish on a Saturday and was able to grab a table. Walking in, you're welcomed with upbeat party pop music which is a bit of a fun vibe for early in the morning. Spill the Tea (Matcha pancakes): Aesthetically looked amazing but the pancakes were denser than they appeared. The size looked pretty small based on first impressions but was a lot more filling than it looked. Taste wise they tasted decent with the matcha sauce. You can definitely taste the coconut in this pancake. It wasn't the best I've had but not the worst! Blueberry ricotta pancakes: Similar review with the matcha pancakes. The blueberry sauce was delicious and paired well with the ricotta however, it does get a bit overwhelming after a few bites as the pancake texture is already dense. I feel like this would really pair better if the pancake was more fluffier. Chicken & waffles: The chicken and waffles were quite good! The gochujang infusion wasn't really that obvious so I was a bit surprised there was even gochujang in it. I found this to be a bit better than the pancakes. The service was very attentive and checking up on our table for water refills. I thought the wait time would be longer for the food since the server did give a heads up for the long wait time for the food but to our surprise the food came out much quicker than the estimated time! Overall, I had a great experience here, only rough part is that the restaurant is tough to find if you're not familiar with the area (if you see Hunter's Landing, turn to the walkway and it's on the opposite side more tucked in). read more

I just wanted orange juice, but they were all out, so I got grapefruit. My boyfriend got a mimosa, which he liked. We both got the chicken and waffles - he got the gochujang syrup that it came with and I got regular syrup. Once the food came out, we both agreed the chicken was pretty dry, despite it being thigh meat. There wasn't very much breading on the chicken and not enough syrup for the dish, in my opinion, so I asked for more which made it a little better. My waffle was tasty once I added the extra syrup. My bf said it was a lot better the last time he went there. Overall, really cute restaurant but if I went again I would order something else. First, let me say the decor and atmosphere of this restaurant was amazing. The only thing that would make me take away points from this restaurant would be how long it took for us to get your food. When you first come into the restaurant area, the music is blasting, and the crowd was definitely enjoying themselves. Once seated the waitress told us that we had one hour. We looked at the menu and placed our orders after our orders were placed, it took almost 30 minutes to receive our food and for such a long wait the food was definitely not hot when it reached the table. To eat I ordered the make no mis-steak which was steak with eggs however you wanted them and crispy potatoes with a house sauce. The food was definitely good, but as I stated before, the only thing that would make me take points away from this restaurant was that it took so long to get your food and I dis wish the food was hotter when it reached the table. The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and very helpful. The outfits that the staff wore were also cool. The female staff wore pink shirts or sweaters that said fuck hangovers on the back, and the male staff members wore black. I definitely enjoyed myself here. It was a bonus when the mashup platter came out served in a brunch tower when we were only expecting a platter. Our server, Asia, was awesome and super hype! She brought lots of positive energy, was very attentative as our server, helped us take pictures, and even worked the camera angles for us. That being said, once we tasted the food we realized that the temperature of the food was the least of the problems. Dry and flavourless - the food left much to be desired.
