Overall, a decent place with a solid happy hour deal, although I wish it extended at least until 6 PM. I also wish their happy hour would be more expansive and include more food options as I've had better happy hour experiences. While the food was okay, the customer service can benefit from improvement. Going into the restaurant (10 minutes before we arrived) we checked the booking page and they had plenty of tables available but upon coming in, we were told that they don't really have any tables. I mentioned the website and was told that sometimes "it's wrong". After all back and forth, they did place us at the bar but it took a while to get the order in and the staff were barely checking in on us. I do love their heated patio as it is a nice space but definitely recommend making a reservation to avoid any back and forth.

Whenever I'm in Toronto I will make a point to come to Cactus Club on Adelaide. Seriously! The customer service is unmatched, the food is delicious, and the vibes are amazing! Our bartender was great! Super attentive and friendly and had great suggestions on what to order. There's different areas of the restaurant -- a second floor and rooftop and of course regular dining and bar areas. Bathrooms are super clean and the entire restaurant has such a nice vibe, I'll be sure to visit next time in town.

If you are ever in Downtown Toronto, I definitely recommend trying Cactus Club! It's one of my favourite places to eat at in the city, and the food never misses. Service can be a hit or miss depending on the time of day you go, as they are usually quite busy. When its comes to the food all I can say is, that it is AMAZING! There's one dish i'll come back for over and over again and it's the Blackened Creole Chicken! This dish is so delicious, and I can't wait to eat it again soon. 8/10 recommend!!

This is my go-to when I don't know where to go! They have such good happy hour deals. The peach bellini hits every single time. The calamari is delicious and their sushi is actually really solid too. Overall, the vibes are always good here. It's usually busy, which I love because it makes the place feel lively. Service is always great and the food has never disappointed.

Came for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service and ambiance were excellent. Really enjoyed the waitress, she made a mistake serving my cocktail (requested no ice) but she resolved the matter immediately. Our starters were the tuna stack and calamari. Amazing. Tasty. The tuna and avocado were fresh and it was really flavourful. The calamari was sliced thinly and lightly battered, seasoned well with an almost five-spice taste. Really enjoyable. I ordered the spaghetti portafino which I was so pleasantly surprised with. I didn't know I'd enjoy it so much. It had lots of prawns and a bit lobster but the texture of pasta with the fennel chilli crumb really completed the dish. My friend ordered the crispy tofu bowl, which I forgot to snap a photo of, but he swears by it and orders it every time he's there, so it must be good. This is a great pitstop for lunch after meetings and located on the main floor of First Canadian Place.

We came after a ball game on a Thursday night. The place was filled but there were spots at the first floor bar. The food was excellent, small bites at larger prices, but excellent. The drinks... I could write a book. One of our drinks was the peach Bellini (which one of the reviews recommended and they were not wrong). It's small but mighty. This drink is premade in a machine and hard for a bartender to mess up. I ordered a Long Island. It came like lemon seltzer water. Absolutely no alcohol, perhaps they thought I ordered a zero? I sent it back. The next... a vodka martini. That's as basic as you can get. It still came wrong. The top of the martini was watered down, the bottom pure vodka. The bartender making the drinks was quite young downstairs. Perhaps he didn't understand the mechanics. Perhaps that's where they learn? For a self proclaimed cocktail bar...no thank you.

I used to love the food at this place. Went for dinner recently. Not happy hour. Ordered from normal menu and got this salmon aburi. The pieces were ridiculously small and clearly cut in halves. Usually these are in rectangular shape from when I started eating here in 2016. Price has gone up but the portions are deceivingly being reduced. Not to mention front of house is so disorganized. Kept everyone waiting in the lobby and not really asking anyone if they need help. Everyone thought everyone else was in line but they were just waiting around. Probably won't come back unless for happy hour. The bar tenders were super nice but saw loads of them playing around with the cucumber and lemon with their bare hands after touching payment machines and money, jokingly shoving the garnishing in each other's faces before returning it to the container to be served to customers. They were poking fun at how poorly the garnishing were cut by the kitchen. Definitely didn't order a drink after seeing that.

Came here for happy hour and I think they have a great selection of food and drinks. My only shock about this place is selling non-alcoholic champagne for almost $60 a bottle!!! Insane. But definitely check out the happy hour and rooftop.

We came here for a weekday dinner and the rooftop patio was packed and the waiting time was more than an hour. We were lucky we had made a reservation in advance. Even with that, we waited for 10-15 minutes for our table to get ready. I strongly recommend to make a reservation for patio or lounge, to skip the line. The vibe on the rooftop patio was amazing; so vibrant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered "Baja Fish Taco", "Tuna Pome Bowl", "Avocado Kale Salad with Salmon" and "Truffle Parmesan Chicken". Our food was delicious and fresh. Our favorite was Avocado Kale Salad.

Came for happy hour!!!! Seated at the bar. The server was welcoming and nice. It wasn't horribly busy when I went so I was served pretty quick. Ordered the steak frites. It was okay... I asked for medium rare and I felt like it was a little too over cooked, but whatever I still ate it and enjoyed the atmosphere. The patio was delightful! Was a gorgeous day to be on the patio! Definitely will come back !!!

Located near to my work, I often visit Cactus Club for work lunches. It is a great place for that. Good food, nice ambiance and you can either do a quick starter or a detailed lunch depending on the of meeting you have. There are shareable to dine in with friends . What I like are their Zero proofs, wine and hibiscus drinks are my favourite. Service is decent, depending on the server but is always pretty occupied so you have to smartly time your requests, sometimes you get late as you are waiting for server to see you, but not their fault, so many table to each server. Their patio is a spot for rooftop summer lunches.

Got a Bellini here. The drink was really good and the vibes were amazing. The servers were attentive and made sure everyone was happy:)

Such a vibe. Visiting for work however always visiting for personal. I love Toronto disclaimer. Food was really good. Great variety and the sushi rolls were great. I have a food allergy and the wait Staff and management expressed concern and care when handling our table. So kind. I had the avocado salad with light cheese and easy change. It was a beautiful refreshing salad so good my boss ended up ordering it the next day. The drinks. Omg. I am so picky about cocktails and I typically don't like sweet drinks at all. This was the perfect blend of tart, Refreshing and flavorful but not where you question if alcohol was present. It was so pretty too!! Was so good we Went back for lunch the next day. I'm curious about the other two floors because it seemed been clear a reservation was required.

This is likely because there is a generous sprinkling of grated parm and a great amount of dip. We tried the crispy tuna sushi. The tuna was beautifully marinated, so flavourful. And the sushi was nice and crispy. The vodka pie was a seasonal item and when we saw it listed, we knew we needed to try it. The sauce- amazing, the press was nice and flaky and light and really tasty. And the soccer Sada added nice saltines and flavour without being too overwhelming. For happy hour, the apps and pizzas were $5 off, and the ranch water was $5. I'd come back for the pizza alone! Jeans was our waitress and she was great!

Service was friendly, not too fast after sitting down, but didn't have to wait too long to order either. I didn't try any of the food, as only popped in for a drink, but from what I could see coming out to other tables it looked decent, and I likely would return to try some other evening.
