Our server was so friendly and on top of things. The vibes are nice and quiet for brunch, which my mom loves when she visits. We got the healthy breakfast bowl and the standard breakfast. Perfect healthy/naughty mix to share with someone. I really like their coffee too! It's great for if you need food before the symphony or a play because it's so close by.

A pizza with a thick, golden-brown crust is topped with melted cheese, tomato sauce, slices of ham, and fresh basil leaves. The pizza is served on a black plate on a wooden table, with glasses and utensils visible in the background.

Service was hard to get and mostly indifferent. We went for lunch and it appeared they were heavily understaffed, even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Food was fine, but getting simple things after it was delivered (a fork, salt & pepper) was a real challenge. I can't imagine this place busy because it was HUGE.

King Taps was such a fun night out. The atmosphere was lively and energetic without feeling too overwhelming, and it really had that easy, good-vibes kind of feel that makes you want to stay longer than planned. We ordered a mix of cocktails, sliders, crispy bites, pizza, and a steak dish, and everything made the table feel extra fun and shareable. The drinks were refreshing, the food was satisfying, and even dessert was a nice finish to the night. It's the kind of place that works well for catching up with friends, having a casual date night, or just enjoying a relaxed evening in a lively setting.

If you're looking for a quiet date night, this most definitely is not the place for you. King Taps is the type of place you want to go out with a group of friends for a drink after work. This place is loud and crowded always. I find it always hard to track down your server because of how dark and crowded this place is. In terms of food, they have some good bar food options including Mini Macks and Truffle Fries. For mains I would suggest getting the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni. 6/10 recommend!

Summerlicious 2025 Caesar salad and Brussel sprouts - The image shows two dishes on a wooden table: one is a Caesar salad with romaine lettuce, grated cheese, and croutons in an oval bowl, and the other is a bowl of Brussels sprouts topped with dressing, cheese, and possibly bacon bits. A fork and knife are placed on a beige napkin in front of the dishes. The setting appears to be a restaurant or dining area.

Came here for summerlicious. We had the baby gem Caesar salad and Brussel sprouts to start. Both were very tasty with lots of parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs on top, but were small "side" servings instead of appetizer size servings. For our mains we had the salmon fresca and the $16 upgrade to the 12oz rib eye steak (base is 8oz sirloin). It's a bit odd. Everything tasted good, but the salmon, steak, and even broccolini were very tough and hard to chew. I even had to use a knife on the salmon. The steak was requested a medium rare, and was more so between a medium and medium well. Desserts were the pretzel brownie and the caramel duo. Caramel duo was extremely sweet, brownie was warm and delicious. It was $45 per person, plus the one $16 upgrade. Interior inside is lively, casual bar environment, with pretty loud music playing. Kind of reminds me of the Warehouse, or Jack Astor's. There is outdoor seating as well. Service was very slow. We ordered as soon as we were seated and had our mains 50 minutes after we ordered. Our desserts were also delayed, and we were there for 1h45mins in total. They also gave us the wrong menu, then didn't give utensils. They looked fairly understaffed, as I saw the same 2 waitresses running around. The other tables nearby were also waiting for their mains. The table next to us had the main redone as the chicken was left out the first time. The summerlicious items are the same as the regular menu, with the apps smaller serving sizes so it's a good way to try lots of items. If you're looking for a lively place to catch up with friends this may be a good spot as some items were good. For us, the long wait times and tough/overcooked steak and salmon means we will be opting for the many other options nearby instead. For over $100 before tax and tip, I was expecting a bit better.

Chicken wings - The image features a close-up of several chicken wings coated in a glossy sauce, served on a black plate. The wings are arranged in a cluster, with some showing the textured surface of the meat and sauce. The background is blurred, indicating an indoor setting, possibly a restaurant or bar. The lighting highlights the shiny, saucy surface of the wings.

The energy and vibe during sports events is unmatched! Especially when the Jays were playing. Their happy hour has changed significantly which is a downer for the regulars.

SIERRA SALAD (V) $18.75 Avocado, pickled red onions & beets, citrus slices, white cheddar, seeds, apple cider vinaigrette. - A ceramic bowl filled with a mixed salad featuring leafy greens, shredded cheese, pumpkin seeds, and chopped vegetables such as beets and yellow peppers. The bowl is set on a wooden table, with part of a black napkin visible in the background. The salad appears fresh and colorful, with a variety of textures and ingredients.

Ii went there after work on a chilly evening. It was quite busy but what stood out to me was their patio was full too. I was wondering why and then i choose to take a seat at patio and no wonder why it was popular even on a chilly evening. They have heaters outside and not only that, generally you will find people going there directly after office and women dressed up in skirt or dresses, i am not sure whether this is every season but they have blanket/ cover ups at each chair. I first noticed that what is this blue color thing and why everyone is having it, bt later i realised why. That is really thoughtful and cozy and I recommend going there and sitting in patio for this feeling. I orders below item and i provided a detailed description for it. Food was good too!

I never actually tried the food here but every time I go in for happy hour it's great value. The music is definitely too loud and you can't have a normal conversation over it. Service also could be better but I guess that's what you get when you go downtown.

Great ambience, and good drinks, our serve was attentive as well, decent dishes, it could get very packed after work though.

Frozen blood orange margarita, beer, mojito - Multiple hands are holding pink cocktails garnished with orange slices and black straws, raised in a toast inside a bar or restaurant. The background features a bar counter, bartenders, and several TV screens displaying sports events. The setting appears lively with other patrons and ambient lighting, indicating a social gathering.

Went for happy hour at King taps after a Jays game to grab a bite and we were able to get seated fairly quickly! The frozen blood orange margaritas are so refreshing and yummy. The stinging bee pizza was good! Crust was crispy, with the honey perfectly balancing off the saltiness of the pepperoni on the pizza. Their happy hour includes 10$ cocktails and 5$ off pizzas and share plates.

Great vibes, such a fun Friday night! One of my favourite date places in the city. The happy hour is always really good here. Would come back

Ambiance: Stunning from the moment you walk in. Despite the soaring ceilings and two-level layout, the space still feels intimate thanks to the dim, romantic lighting. Tables line the perimeter and upper level, while small trees with twinkling lights frame the booths, adding a whimsical, almost magical touch. A window displaying the cuts of steak was a fun and enticing detail. Appetizers & Mains: Every bite impressed. The seafood atop each piece of nigiri was incredibly fresh and buttery, literally melting in your mouth. The lobster mashed potatoes were an indulgent and unforgettable accompaniment to the perfectly tender steaks, which were thoughtfully presented tableside before cooking. Dessert: We saved room (and I'm so glad we did!) My cheesecake arrived beautifully plated with a candle and birthday message, while my boyfriend enjoyed the butter cake. Both were absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to the meal. Service: Every team member we encountered went above and beyond to make the evening feel special, but a heartfelt shout-out goes to our charming server, Vig. He was attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in ensuring each moment felt intentional and unique. He also shared enticing reasons to return for lunch, happy hour, and weekend brunch (options we had no idea the restaurant offered).
