We made a reservation for a weekend night to enjoy their Winterlicious menu and enjoyed our dinner in a calm and warm setting. The space feels elegant without being formal, and the bar offers a beautiful view of Lake Ontario that really adds to the experience. We started with cocktails before moving into our three‑course meal. Each dish arrived with perfect timing, giving us the chance to enjoy every course without feeling rushed. From the appetizer to the entrée and dessert, everything was well‑paced and thoughtfully presented.

This restaurant is located in the St.Regis hotel. We visited for Winterlicious lunch on a weekday. The environment is very classy and elegant. However, I was glad I rescheduled to an earlier lunch time as the duck confit was already sold out by 12:30 pm. I saw multiple people at other tables were disappointed with the selections left. I was surprised that the cheeseburger was also sold out pretty early as well. That being said, the serviwas really friendly and accommodating. Food tasted good, with the duck confit being the highlight. We also tried the chocolate cake for dessert, the display was appealing but tasted nothing special.

I have been wanting to try this place for so long and finally had the opportunity. I was a bit nervous because I've heard people on TikTok say it was overrated, but I completely disagree. It just goes to show why it is so important to try things for yourself. It's not that other people's opinions don't matter, but you can really miss out on great things if you don't form your own. Good or bad, you have to experience it firsthand. I loved the staff and how attentive they were. They really went out of their way to make sure our visit was enjoyable. I really enjoyed the drinks and thought the tartare de boeuf was excellent. It was my first time trying it and it won't be my last because it was so flavorful. I also had the cowboy steak which was excellent with a side of lobster mashed potatoes. The lobster was so buttery and delicious, and the King's Cake was everything. I actually enjoyed it more than my friends did, which just proves that everyone has different tastes. All in all, we had an amazing dinner and made great memories. The gorgeous atmosphere was the cherry on top. It was so elegant on the inside and everything was beautiful. I will definitely be back!

Had a little bit of trouble finding this place that was short walk from King station, and then up the hotel elevator. All the dishes were really well made and the place was very beautiful, and the staff were attentive ! It got quite busy in the restaurant as the night went on which surprised us as it was almost empty when we got there. We got bread, beef wellington, salmon, and scallops! We had brought a cake because it was our anniversary, but was notified that there is a cake cutting fee so we decided against it when it was time for dessert. However, they still stored it in the fridge for us, and brought it out for us to take photos with , which was really thoughtful! Definitely worth a try, however I would love to see them have some more bells and whistles at this price point. Dont get me wrong though, all the food was prepared great!

If you're in downtown Toronto and looking for a bar with stunning views and a truly high-class vibe, this is the place. Luxurious, stylish, and always a treat. The cocktails are excellent, and believe it or not--the cakes here are kind of famous. I come by once in a while with friends for a casual drink, and everyone I've brought has loved it. Of course, since it's inside the St. Regis Hotel, the service is top-notch. It can get busy, so sometimes a reservation helps, but usually it's not too hard to get a table. The food is solid across the board, and their Sunday brunch is absolutely worth checking out. Overall, this spot delivers on luxury without being pretentious. Highly recommend if you want to impress a date, enjoy a night out with friends, or just soak in a gorgeous Toronto view.

This was supposed to be the highlight of the trip and it was one of many. There were a lot of aspects to this place that I'll try to hit on. Service: Nothing short of amazing. We were treated like VIPs from the moment we walked in until we walked out. Super friendly and helpful. Incredible. Food: Exceptional - we had a 5 course tasting menu that included enough vegetarian/fish options that were good for my wife. I had the beef tenderloin and my wife had the sole Meunier - we were both blown away to the point that my wife asked for more a Sauce because it was so good. Ambience: This was the clincher. The dining room is out of a movie with a bar wall that will blow your mind. Absolute luxury meets fine dining meets chill house vibes. 100% awesome. All that said, it was an expensive night..... really expensive but I looked at it as a once in a lifetime treat for us on Valentine's Day. Was it pricey? Sure. Was it worth it? You bet. If you want to treat yourself and your partner to the night of your life, this is the place.

Louix Louis, known for their unique thirteen layer chocolate cake, did not disappoint at all! We went there to celebrate a birthday and ordered the Petit King's Cake which is their most popular dessert. Thirteen layers of delicious chocolate served with a side of vanilla ice cream and the way it was presented and cut, I was in awe of the service! We went there after dinner so we were too full to eat or order anything else but I guess I'll be back for their drinks coz they had a massive bar with an impressive wine collection as well.

Made a late night visit to celebrate a birthday. Ordered the King's Cake and a couple of Americanos. The coffee was rich and delicious. The cake was over the top with its 13 layers and really delicious. The combination of the cake and the ice cream, that it is served with it, was really delicious. The cake itself was the best chocolate cake I have had - not too dense, not too sweet and just the right amount of richness. Had enough left over to enjoy for a few days to come.

I've been here a couple of times both for regular menu in the winter and summer time drinks. This time, went on the first day of Winterlicious around 5:30 pm and it was already quite busy. You go to 31st floor, the space itself is beautiful, definitely a vibes and Instagram pics place aka girls night. The bar area in particular is great for photos, though I'd recommend going on a weekday closer to 5 pm if you want it less crowded. There were corporate people on Friday, as well as girl groups and double dates. Dinner for winterlicious was $75 pp. For apps we had the squash velouté which is a soup, and the foie gras was rich (almost too rich by the end, but still enjoyable). For mains, the duck confit was good, while the braised short ribs were just okay and not as flavourful as expected. Desserts were on the sweeter side, the petite king's cake and LOUIX LOUIS cheesecake cake were both quite sweet, and we didn't end up finishing them. Service was quick and accommodating despite how busy it was. Overall, this is a great spot for the ambiance and city views, and it would work especially well for larger birthday dinners or group celebrations, they have an upstairs private space that can be reserved. If going, I recommend their regular menu rather than the Winterlicious offerings.

I was looking for a spot to hang out after dinner and continue catching up with a friend who was visiting from out of town, so we decided to head to Louix Louis for some drinks. Located on the 31st floor of the St. Regis Hotel, it is a fantastic spot for a drink if you're looking to splurge a little and enjoy a refined atmosphere. Louix Louis has an extensive drink menu, from beers, well-crafted cocktails, to fine wine, they are able to cater to a wide range of tastes. I was particularly impressed by the selection of mocktails available for those who aren't consuming alcohol. I tried a cocktail and mocktail, and enjoyed both. The high ceilings and dark wood furnishings with gold accents give the space a warm, cozy, yet sophisticated vibe. Finally, the service here was impeccable. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like royalty adding to the elevated experience.

Another lovely evening at Louix Louis! TY to the staff and entire team! It was surprisingly quiet during TIFF but allowed for more conversation.

The service was impeccable! We booked dinner for our anniversary and my husband requested vegan gluten free items for me. Chef Luigi curated a wonderful menu with options for me and hubby ordered off the regular menu. He had oysters and steak. I had a beautifully dressed pear and walnut salad with a tempeh and vegetable entree. For dessert they made a fantastic vegan, gluten free brownie with sorbet and berries. I was totally stuffed! Hubby had a mocktail and we finished with tea and coffee. The servers (Salim and his partners) and the manager were kind and attentive. The rooftop patio is lovely and the view from our table was the lake peeking through various towers. The ambiance was nice and the bar/decor was classy.

An upscale establishment at the Regis hotel. The interior is impressive, really high ceilings and really pretty on in the inside. The restaurant is on the 31st floor so you should have a nice south west facing view. The service was a rather disappointing for the price point of the restaurant. On a rainy day, there was nowhere to put my umbrella or my wet coat... Service was a bit inconsistent even for a not so busy day. Our water was constantly being refilled (perhaps since it was $9 a bottle). Our table was brushed off once between bread and appetizers but not before entrees? Bread + butter - Maybe we came by late, but bread was a bit underwhelming. Butter visibly had herbs in it, but did not have much flavouring. The interior of the bread was fluffy, but dry a bit disappointing... Burrata - My favourite cheese, a melange of textures and pairs well as a salad and a sweet fruity dressing. Lettuce was excellent, fresh and crunchy. Burrata was great and fresh! The addition of nuts added a crunchy texture as well. Would recommend. Foie gras - On its own the seared foie gras isn't for everyone, including myself. It had a nice buttery mouthfeel, but had an innards aftertaste. It was good after spreading it ontop of the brioche toast and strawberry jam. Not for everyone. King salmon - King salmon came sitting ontop of a lake of black lentils. The Lentils themselves were dry, but had a good texture. The tomato paste was excellent and saved the lentils from the lack of flavour. The salmon itself was cooked beautifully. crispy on the top and cooked just right on the inside. the top was overly salted, but the tomato paste once again saved the dish. cheese cake - The ratio between jam to cheese to crust was my favourite I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I did not like the jam as it was too tart for me. The white chocolate on the side did help with this. Nice to try, would not get again. In all, considering service, quality of food and cost, I cannot recommend this place.

From the vibes to the food, everything was top notch. Tyler took care of our group and made sure that we got an experience rather than just a meal. Upon being seated we got napkins to match our outfits so the white lint didn't get on our black pants , an incredible guava passion fruit cocktail to try and a meat presentation to make sure we all order like pros from here on out. The food was incredible- one our tastebuds won't forget! Our group of 5 started with fresh sushi and sashimi, table side Caesar salad and the softest brioche served with sun-dried tomato butter that was perfect in every way. Main course: Australian wagyu ribeye that we didn't even have to chew plus a strip loin and beef Wellington (which was maybe the only thing I don't need to order again, but still delicious). All the sides were amazing and finally sticky toffee pudding and butter cake to put us in a complete food coma. Wouldn't change a thing about this meal. We cannot thank you enough Tyler (and Toronto!!)!

I found myself wanting to try most of the cocktails, which is a rarity. We got the Strawberry Tetsu to start (inspired by Uncle Tetsu's Japanese cheesecake), along with the Cloudy Oolong (tea-based cocktail with a salted caramel cheese foam). The Strawberry Tetsu tasted like a dessert and was delicious, with a graham cracker crumble rim. The Cloudy Oolong had a strong tea taste which I loved, as sometimes the tea can get lost in a cocktail. The foam on top was addicting and paired nicely with it, similar to a bubble tea. Next, I had the Burnt Yuzu which was light and refreshing from the citrus. The bar is hidden behind Misfit Ice Cream, with a speakeasy vibe to the interior. We walked up to an unassuming entrance that is part of the experience, and once inside, the atmosphere shifts completely. The space is intimate and cozy with dim lighting, comfortable seating, and a relaxed speakeasy vibe that makes it easy to settle in for a couple of drinks. The transition from the street to the interior feels deliberate, and the low-key energy of the room encourages lingering. The cocktail menu leans heavily into Asian-inspired flavors, and that is what makes it stand out. Every drink feels thoughtfully developed rather than relying on presentation alone. We tried the Cloudy Oolong, which was especially memorable with its rich tea flavor and creamy cheese foam that added a savory depth to the cocktail. The Strawberry Tetsu offered a dessert-like profile without becoming overly sweet, balancing fruit and tea notes in a way that felt refined and well composed. Each cocktail arrived beautifully presented and balanced, making it easy to appreciate the amount of care that goes into every glass. The menu is creative without being gimmicky, and the flavors are well integrated, with each drink offering something distinct. The staff were welcoming and happy to explain the menu or offer recommendations if you are unsure what to order. They guided us through the flavor profiles and offered thoughtful suggestions based on our preferences. Service felt attentive without being overbearing, and the overall pace made it a great place to relax rather than rush through a drink. The team checked in at the right moments and kept the experience feeling personal and unhurried. If you are looking for a cocktail bar that offers something different from the usual classics, After Seven delivers a memorable experience. Between the hidden entrance, intimate setting, and creative drinks, it is the kind of place that is easy to recommend whether you are celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for one of Toronto's more unique bars. The balance of atmosphere, craftsmanship, and service makes it a standout in the city's cocktail scene.
