Screen of drinks with prices like stock market - Two digital screens displaying stock market prices and charts are mounted on a black pillar inside a cafe or lounge. The interior features large windows allowing natural light, with geometric pendant lights hanging from the ceiling. Outside, pedestrians and vehicles are visible on the street. The setting appears modern and urban, with a focus on digital information display.

Just came in for drinks cuz was hyped about visiting this place - was here on weekday lunchtime break from work - coworker and i were excited to check it out. It was as fun as i expected it haha, was giddy. Server was super nice and charming; the place looks fancy and classy. We just had some beers that were on the low stock price hehe. Didnt try the food there. But would love to come back in the future again! I might be easy to excite but the stock market gimmick here works for me and i find it a fun concept, even if at the end of the day i dont think patrons care much for the "savings" they get from buying a drink on its "down" price. It's just a fun concept to bring into a resto. But aside from the gimmick, the place is also very nice!

Amazing cocktails and food. I got a couple of number 34 and they are great, especially at happy hour pricing. Even the food is pretty reasonable for happy hour. We got truffle fries, cauliflower bites and chicken lettuce wraps. We liked the lettuce wraps the best. Really enjoyed our time. It's interesting that their prices fluctuate per demand. But since we were taking advantage of the happy hour, it didn't matter to us.. Our waitress was very pleasant and served us very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. So we will return.

Oh this is a funny little place. It has the novelty of utilizing the financial stock market numbers that fluctuate up and down as an algorithm for determining the price of drinks. Really novel idea but do you really want to pay more for what you have been drinking. There is a cap on those prices but even still. The concept is good to look at. Food wise it wasn't bad. Although I had two appetizers the tuna and truffle fries both were very generous in portion. I wasn't expecting that. Next time I would probably order just one. The tuna for me was cut a bit too big for my liking and was lacking in any flavour. The customer service was, how can I put this non existent with the exception of the hostess upon entering. My server seemed a little unhappy because not a single sense of pleasantness came out of her. It was a little off putting. Anyway, it wasn't bad. But there are elements for me that need some work.

Storefront - The image shows the exterior of CKTL & Co., a business located in Toronto. The storefront includes a revolving glass door with black framing, and a large blue sign above the entrance displaying the name 'CKTL & Co.' in yellow letters. The interior of the establishment is partially visible through the glass, revealing seating and interior lighting. The sidewalk in front of the store is made of dark tiles.

This interesting bar had a soft opening on 2023-03-27 and will have a grand opening on 2023-04-28. Drink prices rise and fall based on demand, just like the stock market. In fact there is a stock market ticker running across the top of the bar and on TV screens, indicating current prices. Drinks start at a base price and rise as demand goes up. There are also mocktails (called "counterfeit") and non-alcoholic drinks. The mocktails also go up and down in price. They do serve food, with entrees $26 to $35. Flat breads are $17 to $22, burgers/sandwiches are $17 to $23, while appetizers are $10 to $18. The inside is a combination of cocktail bar (hence the name CKTL) and hugh-end restaurant. The service was great. The food and drink were great. I ordered the following: 1. Mango Mule Counterfeit ($9.00). 2. Roasted Beet Salad ($17.00). 3. Fig Flatbread ($22.00). 4. Grilled Lamb Chops ($35.00). The Mango Mule is a mocktail. There is a rectangular ice cube (the length of the glass). The fresh mango juice is shaken with ice and then strained into the glass. Then ginger beer is added to give it that kick. It is then topped off with shaved raspberry,  fresh mint leaves, and a slice of lime. The Roasted Beet Salad is refreshing. It has gold, red, and striped beets, arugula, goat cheese, radish, pepitas, and lemon turmeric dressing. The combined taste is good. The Fig Flatbread is big be an entree for one person. You can see the sliced fresh fig pieces. There are also charred onions & scallions, mozzarella,  goat cheese, crispy onions, and lemon turmeric drizzle. OK, both dishes above had goat cheese and lemon turmeric drizzle. I guess I have to go back to try a dish that is different. The Grill Lamp Chop was exquisite and highly recommended. It comes with a potato puree, pomegranate jus, and roasted root vegetables. I ordered it cooked "medium" and it came out medium. The lamp Chop itself was tasty, and I found out it was also marinated with the pomegranate jus. At least the lamp chops didn't have goat cheese and lemon tumeric drizzle! There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms, and they are wheelchair accessible. There is very limited neighbourhood street parking and there are parking garages. Review 2023-097

Love the unique concept! The food menu was also very unique compared to other restaurants - the lamb burger was an interesting and tasty try. The cocktails also taste great and have interesting presentations. The black market cocktail cake in a smoking chest, which was very fun The seating was also spatious and not crowded. Service was friendly Definitely recommend for a fun grown up night out

Lavender Lady - A purple cocktail with a frothy white top is presented in a coupe glass, garnished with a yellow flower on the surface. The drink is set on a gray table, with a glass of water and another drink visible nearby. The background shows a dimly lit dining area with people seated at tables.

As soon as you walk into the Library Bar, the real centerpiece that grabs your attention is the massive oil portrait above the fireplace. Ambiance: Stunning from the moment you walk in. Despite the soaring ceilings and two-level layout, the space still feels intimate thanks to the dim, romantic lighting. We loved being seated beside each other rather than across from one another, an option I appreciated compared to the large half-moon booths in the centre of the room. Tables line the perimeter and upper level, while small trees with twinkling lights frame the booths, adding a whimsical, almost magical touch. A window displaying the cuts of steak was a fun and enticing detail. Appetizers & Mains: Every bite impressed. The seafood atop each piece of nigiri was incredibly fresh and buttery, literally melting in your mouth. The lobster mashed potatoes were an indulgent and unforgettable accompaniment to the perfectly tender steaks, which were thoughtfully presented tableside before cooking. Dessert: We saved room (and I'm so glad we did!) My cheesecake arrived beautifully plated with a candle and birthday message, while my boyfriend enjoyed the butter cake. Both were absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to the meal. Service: Every team member we encountered went above and beyond to make the evening feel special, but a heartfelt shout-out goes to our charming server, Vig. He was attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in ensuring each moment felt intentional and unique. He also shared enticing reasons to return for lunch, happy hour, and weekend brunch (options we had no idea the restaurant offered). Thoughtful Touches: From coat check, a welcome birthday cocktail, a personalized birthday card from the staff, to complimentary bubbly with dessert, every detail was thoughtfully considered. Both of us work in the area and will absolutely be spreading the word with our teams. I left feeling like a very lucky lady after such a memorable birthday celebration. We can't wait to return!

On a Valentine's Day brunch visit, the atmosphere alone was enough to justify the reservation. The kitchen demonstrates genuine competence: dishes arrive with care, the pacing is unhurried, and the mise en scène -- from tableside presentation to that now-famous thirteen-layer chocolate cake -- reveals an establishment that understands the theatre of fine dining. That towering slice of chocolate cake, in particular, is a masterstroke of marketing and pastry craft in equal measure; it draws the eye, earns its reputation, and very nearly steals the show. Where LOUIX LOUIS gives one pause is in the cuisine's ability to fully match its surroundings. The cooking is accomplished and reliably pleasant, yet seldom rises to the level of genuine distinction one might hope for at this price point. Dishes satisfy without surprising; technique is evident but inspiration, at moments, feels held in reserve. For the corporate traveller or the visitor seeking a polished, geographically convenient showcase of the city's skyline, this represents an entirely sound choice. For those seeking an experience whose flavours linger as long as the view, the kitchen has room yet to grow into its magnificent stage.
