Overall my friend and I had a great lunch here with a decent experience in service. We ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings which were delicious. When they were brought out, our sever did not bring any sharing plates which made eating these dumplings a little awkward as we were sharing, but we made it work. They were very tasty! Or drinks also came out after we were done with our appetizer. A little backwards, as we would've liked to enjoy our adult beverages with our appetizer. For my entree I had the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. It was very tasty! I would say there was a little too much dashi mayo, which was overwhelming. I would order this dish again, but would request lite mayo. My friend ordered the Korean Beef Bibimbap, which she really enjoyed! Overall a good spot that I would definitely return too!
Earls is located inside Yorkdale shopping mall. It's a restaurant not worth a travel but it's convenient to dine in here when you happen to be in the mall. Whenever you go, it's always easy to make a reservation on spot. The food here is average, nothing special. We've tried Baja fish tacos (not good), poke bowl (very sour mango and avacado being too raw), chicken Alfredo pasta (not bad) and green salads (very refreshing). The restaurant is always very busy, but the service is generally okay. The servers usually proactively clean up the dishes quickly.
Came here during a conference with 14 colleagues and overall we had a really fun night. We had reservations and were seated pretty quickly after arriving, which was impressive considering the size of our group. We went big on the appetizers and ordered every sushi platter along with one of each appetizer on the menu for the table. The sushi was definitely the standout of the starters; fresh, light, and probably the best part of the meal overall. The ambiance at night was excellent for a group outing. The place has a lively energy and was loud in a good way, energetic and social without crossing into "club loud." It made for a great atmosphere to relax, laugh, and have good conversations with coworkers after a long day. For my entrée, I ordered the surf and turf with the lobster tail and filet. The lobster tail was very good, but the filet was a little underwhelming, especially considering the price point. Overall, it was a great experience mostly because of the atmosphere, service, and group vibe. The food itself was solid but not particularly memorable outside of the sushi. Still, I'd recommend it as a fun spot for group dinners, work events, or nights out with friends.
This location is of Earls is locates in financial district. Note there is a second location on king much closer to Spadina. If you reserve a seat make sure you have the correct location selected! This restaurant is always packed during business hours. It slow down around 2-430pm. When the restaurant is packed. Expect your meal to be an hour to an hour and a half. I ordered the Strawberry Hibiscus Mule ($8.5), the Yuzu calamari ($20.75), and the Queen Bee Pizza ($24.75) which were all delicious. My one issue with this restaurant is the prices are quite high for what you get and it's almost always busy when you actually want to eat. Overall the wait staff is kind, and I will end up returning on some sort of business lunch. I also appreciate the variety of vegetarian menu options.
Decided to order from this restaurant sight unseen. Never heard of this place before but it popped up on a search and I decided, why not. I got the blackened chicken with double portion of broccolini and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection and will rested too. So moist that at one point while cutting the chicken juice squirted across the countertop. Well portioned and flavorful. Definitely will stop in the next time I'm visiting Toronto!! Fully recommend!
I hit up Earl's kitchen just to have a light drink after work. The bar wasn't busy at the time I went. So the service was okay. The ambiance is the regular dagler Earl's ambiance LOL. The lychee Martini should definitely be re-added to the happy hour menu because quite honestly, the happy hour menu does need a little bit of work.
Earl's is always a great choice for a night out. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavour, while the sushi was fresh, well-presented, and just as impressive. The ambiance is lively and inviting, making it a great spot whether you're out for dinner or drinks. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Definitely a place I'm always happy to come back to!
November 27/2025: Lunch with Keith at a downtown location. Very enjoyable lunch. Alfresco dining at the end of November. It was my usual...Cajun chicken with warm potato salad & coleslaw. The coleslaw & potato salad were served mixed which wasn't for me. I like them separated. Excellent meal, service. Definitely a do over.
now that's a god damn happy hour. i had 4 drinks, a shot, fries, and a pizza. all for less than what you'd imagine. cute space. very attractive staff i say objectively with no creepiness behind. the food was mediocre but the drinks were great :)
It's been years since I've been to Earls but a colleague chose this spot for happy hour drinks and bites. Walked in at 5pm and the place was already packed. I think it's a good idea to make a reso to avoid a wait. Ordered the Aburi salmon sushi press, avocado chips and truffle fries (not pictured). It's good food for a chain restaurant but I've definitely had better bites elsewhere. What I really liked was the lively atmosphere and upbeat music. Honestly don't remember Earls being this bumpin'. Will be returning for happy hour soon. Solid 3.5 stars for good drinks and above average budget friendly food.
Earls is one of those dining establishments perfect to celebrate a birthday or anniversary! I love going here as its in core downtown and in the financial district. The service is always so great with the kindest servers. When it comes to the food, the portion sizes are huge! Definitely shareable meals, and the food is delicious. Totally recommend coming here during their lunch specials because the steak and sushi is so beyond good. The drinks are also delicious here! 8.5/10 recommend!
I am in Toronto for work and Earl's is in my path so I decided to give it a try. They're on Open Table so I made a reservation to be safe. I was dining alone and all of the appetizers are to share (too much food), so I couldn't order one, but I ordered the steak frites (a filet with french fries) that also comes with salad. It was perfect. My filet was cooked perfectly and everything on the plate was delicious. I had just missed their happy hour which had great deals but I ordered a ginger kombucha which was delicious and healthy. I couldn't get the white mocha creme brûlée to go like I wanted because they torch it. So I ordered the carnelized cheesecake to go. It came with whipped cream and raspberry sauce on the side and a delicious cookie. It was a small slice for $14 and only ok, but it satisfied my sweet tooth after dinner. The whole menu looked appealing and they are reasonably priced so I'd love to come back. Paige my waitress was lovely too.
Came here for dinner yesterday and had a great time! The food was great and very filling. We ordered the prosciutto pizza, chicken Alfredo with garlic bread, and the fried calamari. The patio area was lovely clean, well-kept, and really aesthetically pleasing. Both our hostess and server were extremely kind. Our server was especially attentive, constantly checking in, refilling our waters, and bringing us extra sauce without us needing to ask. I'd definitely recommend the chicken Alfredo, it was rich, creamy, and satisfying. The prosciutto pizza was also really tasty, savory without being overly salty. The only dish I'd probably skip next time is the calamari, as the portion felt a bit small for the price. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we really enjoyed our evening here!

Our server was lovely and always around when you needed her. Nice vibes on the patio with the big lit up tree. The cocktails were decent but I find most of them sweeter than I preference. We came on a weekday and were a big group so it took a bit of time to get us seated and a while to get our drinks and food ordered. When the food and drinks did arrive it was amazing! I was informed that not only did they offer late night happy hour but on their late night happy hour menu you can order half priced seafood towers. Once I heard that I knew I had to check out Earls Kitchen & Bar before leaving Toronto and I am so glad that I did. The vibes and drinks we great and let me just say the seafood tower did not disappoint. It comes with freshly shucked oysters, jumbo shrimp cocktail, ahi tuna tataki, spicy California roll, and lobster tails paired with a passion fruit martini, I have to say I was in heaven lol Visiting Earls was honestly the perfect way to end not only the evening but a trip to Toronto. Will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items. read more
My recent visit to Earls Kitchen was truly outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the server attended to our every need with professionalism and warmth. When we requested to switch to a more comfortable seat, our server was kind to accommodated us. Surprisingly the food arrived quickly (considering how busy it looked), and the presentation was great. Every bite was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My partner and I got the Cajun Blacken Chicken with warm potatoes and salad. And then throughout our time, the server checked in regularly. Honestly, their prices were reasonable, especially considering the high quality of food, service, and ambiance. Also, they have daily specials for alcoholic beverages. I got the redwine sangria (it wasn't among the daily specials for that day). Overall, we had a great time. This is actually my 2nd time here. We were on a walk back to our hotel after the Coldplay show at around midnight. Absolutely starving and we saw Earls was still open. We waited about 10 mins for a table for 4. Our waiter Gareth was quick and friendly, making sure to check on us often. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. The manager came over and had a chat with us, which was appreciated. She is in the video off to the left on the walkthrough. We had a couple of pizza's, tacos and a Nashville chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious. Weekend brunch new favorite spot!! Came in here for a quick brunch with a friend and it's love at first sight. The ambiance is just the right place to have those endless conversations. Came here on a weeknight with a group of friends, and it was packed. For those who prefer a quieter and less crowded dining experience, I wouldn't recommend this spot. I've been to multiple Earls locations before and have found that the music is quite loud, which makes having conversations at the table (and with our server) a bit difficult. That being said, the hustle and bustle atmosphere is a vibe in and of itself. We were seated at a high table booth where we had a great view of the restaurant decor. Most importantly, the food tasted delicious and was very satisfying! Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal from pizza to pasta to salads alike. If I'm in the area again, I would come back, but likely at a less busy time if possible. read more

I had a good time at Earls, we went early enough to get a table for four without having to wait for Sunday brunch. Our server was friendly and attentive. Food was good, we tried the omlette, eggs benny and the chorizo hash. The potatoes were very good, crispy outside and soft inside very different from the traditional hash potatoes. The entrance is welcoming and it looks chic and modern with lots of fake greenery around. We went there for a Saturday brunch. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The meal came out promptly as we both ordered the crab cake Benedict. A piece a toast under the crab cakes would have been nice. The star of the plate was the crab cakes - delicious!!! I could have ate more. The salad had a light dressing but it could be more fresh. The awesome discovery was their potato pavé which was amazing!! But sadly we only got six pieces. It's a cool concept to the tradition home fries at other brunch places. Since it was my partner's birthday, even for brunch, he got a complimentary dessert - with a candle! That was nice of Earls. Gayle and I arrived in Toronto (via Air Canada from St. John's) early, and after checking in at the Hilton, went for a walk. Airline food is what it is and by around 4 PM, we were ready "Linner". At it happens, this Financial District Earl's was just a short walk away. Yet even at 4 PM, this Earl's was busy! The outdoor patio was packed from either an early happy hour or a pregame crowd for the Blue Jays vs. Astro game. We needed to wait a bit to get a table, but ended up with a nice one inside, but by an window. I've always enjoyed the Earl's Canada business model with interesting dishes, nice wait staff, and a comfortable modern and reasonably priced vibe. This Earl's had all this, although service was a little uneven in spots and the background music was too loud. I was also a bit disappointed that a BC Gewurztraminer that was on the menu for years was no longer available. My Chicken Bangkok bowl (picture) was excellent and went well with another white wine selection. I completely forgot what Gayle ordered, but I do remember that she really enjoyed it. And even with the noise and the buzz, our meal was a great opportunity to relax and plan our next couple days in Toronto. read more

I had a great experience here. As soon as I checked into my hotel this place was around the corner from me and I walked there in 12 minutes. Cool ambiance being that it's on a corner and it's very lively with great food and service. Will come back when I make it back to Toronto. Came for the happy hour deal and had a decent time. The pizza we had was good, but the sushi items were not so impressive. The tacos tasted good but the sushi press felt like too much rice. Service was very friendly, we had the nitro espresso martini that came out of a machine and they were delicious. We each had two of them! read more
We were looking for a place to meet with a few friends and this seemed like a good option. We were lucky to get a booth by a window so we weren't in a really crowded area, but it was still very loud. We were very impressed by the service. In my experience restaurants like this are typically pretty slow, but we received our food in a reasonable amount of time and the server checked in often. For appetizers we got Street Corn + Avocado Dip and really enjoyed it, they were quite generous with the avocado so it was a great portion. The Jumbo Lump Crab Cake may have tasted great but the portion was just far too small for $25. It may have been "jumbo" compared to other crab cakes but it's nowhere near big enough to be worth $25. Apparently there's an entree with two crab cakes for $36, so I really wonder how they justify $25 for one. For my main I ordered the Cajun Oven Roasted Salmon and it was very good. I would have liked a little more broccoli but the salmon was seasoned very well. My partner ordered the Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and really enjoyed it as well. Overall the experience here was really good and the food was even better than I expected. I would be happy to return here, but I'll probably try to do it during happy hour to try their deals. read more
