They let us in a few minutes before open, which was nice. We got seated quickly and then were provided the menus and water quickly. The atmosphere was really nice as we were there. We ordered our meals and then were provided our meals about 20min later by someone different. It took a while to get some more water for the table (10min or so) as we were eating our meals. The food overall was really good. Server seemed to be running all over the place though and thus took a long time for our water to come.

I was traveling through the Toronto area and stopped by Earls for dinner. Based on the number of stars, I had lower expectations, but It was an easy walk from my hotel. The restaurant itself is connected to Square One. So, you have that parking available to you, which was adequate when i was there. It's well decorated and all the employees were really friendly. The food itself, I thought was pretty solid. I ordered the filet minjon with mashed potatoes and veggies. All three things on the plate were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My favorite was probably the mashed potatoes, which were creamy and buttery. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the service was a little slow and I thought the portion size was a little small. I would come here again, though!

The service has been exceptionally good today with servers being attentive, refilling water constantly and checking in to see if everything has been satisfactory today. The food was also really good, and the ambiance was great too.

My fiancé & I celebrated our engagement lunch here. .. The staff was super friendly, very cozy atmosphere, and the appetizers are fantastic.

    The food!

Ambiance was amazing. The lights dimmed and it was great. Because we were drunk we thought we were going crazy... but no it was mood lighting and it was nice. Food was amazing. Loved the chicken biryani BUT we needed more naan only 4 slices... very sad because we just wanted more. Service. Prompt. But we ordered the pulled chicken burger and we got something else... we were told it was the right one and honestly we believed it and it was tasty so it didn't matter. Elizabeth gave us roses. Roses are nice. We love Elizabeth. Elizabeth is the guest experience. Thanks.

It was my moms birthday so we decided to take her out for lunch. Even on a Monday afternoon, it was quite busy. So I'd suggest making a reservation ahead. To start we did the normally CoVID screening and then got seated. Our server came, brought us some water and gave us some time to look at the menus. But it was a little to much time. I guess he was also the bartender because he went and made a lot of drinks for everyone at the bar. The problem is that we were kinda stuck there waiting for a while and didn't know if we should just tell someone because it was taking too long. Anyways after a bit of waiting we ordered the margarita pizza as an appetizer. The pizza was good. The ingredients seemed very fresh and I really like how the pizza was cooked. For the main I got the steak frites. The sirloin was cooked very nicely and the crust was very tasty. I also really enjoyed how crispy the fries were. My dad got the half and half chicken and ribs. The sauce was very good, not too sweet or overwhelming. The chicken was very soft as well. I'd say the food quality is pretty top notch, but the service could do with a bit of improving. Once the food came back we didn't really hear from him and was a bit inattentive. Luckily the food the very redeeming. Food 5/5 Service 2/5

Very good service and accommodating of two year old. While prices have gone up, quality has made up for it. Would go back, especially to get away from the rush of the rest of the mall

SPECIAL COVID-19 EDITION REVIEW: SAFETY PRACTICES, PROTOCOLS AND MORE. OPEN DURING COVID-19. (Stage 3 of the province of Ontario reopening) Now, if you've followed my reviews, I literally almost never give a 5 but this is... wait for it... a 6?! This has never been done before in the 10 years I've been on yelp, 8-9 with an account and 6 as an elite!! Parking is terrible here, it's at the Square One mall, so what can you expect? A huge mall with over 300 shops.. parking must be bad! The patio looks super comfy with lots of room, the outside looks great (see pictures). When you go in, they're super polite and following COVID precautions (masks, social distancing, even added a way for you to pay on your phone, sort of like paying for someone online - which I like!) there are options to even get sparkling water (which I hate LOL) but wow the fact it's an option, this is definitely fancier than restaurants like JOEY, or Cactus Club. They have a two and a half hour seating limit, which is pretty fair, I mean, they have to make money, so if you're going to stay 2 and a half hours or more, this probably isn't the place for you. Not sure how strict they are on that rule but they do mention it to you at the beginning. I got a burger and fries (not really surprising at this point, as it's my normal thing LOL) and my girlfriend got gyozas, we wanted to stop and get a small bite to eat, so this was perfect. Their customer service is beyond amazing, I've never seen a restaurant run so well. Food tasted great, would've liked more cheese for the $2 up charge but it was amazing, fries were a good portion, the gyoza was pretty good too. Margarita mixed well. Wasn't enough salt on the rim for me, but that's because I love salt to a fault. LOLOL. Food was all amazing though :) Additionally, they take food safety and safety in general very strictly here, you can hear the staff saying "corner" loudly when coming around the corner. That's something I learned when I worked in foods when I was younger as well... just no places really cared for it. I used to manage in foods, so this team gets an A+. We met Ocean, the dinner manager who took great care of us. Her staff are very attentive and very well trained. Seats are super comfy inside too... I don't even know if I have anything to say they should improve on... that's a first! 6 out of 5! Thanks to Ocean and the team for making our evening awesome. Excellent job, Earls! We will be back :)

We came here on a Thursday night and made reservations for 5:45. I had arrived at 5:30 and they seated me right away which I appreciated. The waitress was super nice and super attentive. We were a group of 7 and all of our orders came out withing 5-7 minutes of each other which is pretty good. I appreciate that the waitress had asked everyone individually when ordering if we had any food allergies or restrictions so she was super attentive. I am plant based and really like how they have a whole section dedicated to plant based eating, with vegan options as well. I ordered the tofu tacos and it was delicious though a tad expensive for just being tofu and veggies (t was about $19). We had finished eating around 730 and stayed till 930 and they let us sit there all night which was great. If you've never been I recommend for large groups because they have a selection for everyone.

I've been wanting to try Earls kitchen and bar for the longest time ;however, I was a bit disappointed especially this COVID time,I went with my bestie and dtr before the 2nd wave and here is my thorough and honest review . The ambiance is very nice, the glass partitions are a very good addition that makes you feel safe;however- cleanliness is the issue-1st the water glass has LIPSTICK marks!! Which was change by the server right away but as a customer you are questioning the cleanliness, next is the glass partition, there are finger print marks, and take note ,we went there in the morning, like around the time They just opened... I was getting really disappointed and unsafe ,we kept on sanitising everything, from the table, spoons but I couldn't wipe the glass partitions ...I gave 3 stars because the chef was really good! I was sooo impressed with the flavours and taste. To the management please have a quality cleaner MOST especially in this pandemic. You will keep your customers because of the taste of the food for sure but sanitation will keep workers and customers healthy and feeling safe.

The menu leans fusion, so there was a lot to try, and overall it felt like a fun place to share plates and compare notes with the table. The cocktails definitely stood out for being stronger than the usual lighter, sweeter drinks you get elsewhere, and the smoky cinnamon one was probably the most memorable. For appetizers, the beef tartare with bone marrow was the clear winner for me. The tartare tasted bright and fresh, and the marrow was rich without feeling greasy. The mussels were also enjoyable, mostly because they were fresh and sat in a creamy broth that made the whole dish feel comforting. We also tried the octopus with pumpkin purée, which had a nice chewy texture and a lovely sweetness from the purée, although a slight charred taste came through more than I personally wanted. For mains, a few dishes landed better than others. The ribeye with chimichurri was one of the stronger choices, tender, properly cooked medium rare, and especially good with that sharp, herbaceous sauce. The ribs were also very tender and full of flavor. The salmon in puff pastry was enjoyable enough that I would order it again, even though the pastry itself was a little softer than I expected. The udon carbonara was decent and comforting, but probably not the most memorable thing on the table, and the signature chicken had flavorful meat even if the rice leaned a bit too soft for me. One small complaint I kept coming back to was the bread, which tasted more charred than I like. Still, Wilcox feels like a nice little spot for a relaxed dinner with drinks, especially if you go in the mood to share, explore the menu, and order a few of the stronger dishes.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone for the evening. For appetizers, we ordered the chicken and paneer, and both turned out to be really good. For our mains, we went with Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Maharani, Malai Kofta, and Chicken Biryani. Most of the dishes were delicious--Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Dal Maharani were especially impressive. The Malai Kofta was on the sweeter side, but still enjoyable depending on your taste. The only real disappointment was the Chicken Biryani. It had an overpowering amount of rose water, and the rice tasted stale with a strange aftertaste, which really took away from the dish. Additionally, while the restaurant is understandably a bit pricey for a special occasion, the naan prices felt excessive. Overall, we had a great experience--the ambience was beautiful, the service was warm, and most of the food was excellent. I would have given four or even five stars, but due to the Biryani and the naan pricing, I'm leaving it at three stars. Maybe next time!!!
