Gord and I had supper at Hunters Landing on Fort York Blvd. Gord had Landing Carbonara (house-smoked chicken, bacon, fried egg, Parmesan, spaghetti, focaccia). He said it was good but the egg was overcooked. I had Maple Chicken (maple marinated roasted half chicken, herb fingerling potatoes, onion gravy). It was good but the chicken was overcooked. I was expecting a half chicken but got a boneless breast with a wing attached and a boneless breast (no leg) ... hence the dryness, I guess. Bottles of wine are half-price on Wednesdays so we shared a bottle of pinot grigrio. Dale and Audrey were our friendly server and took good care of us.
Good experience. I was having trouble booking on OpenTable but I called and was able to secure a reservation. Our table was ready when we got there and it wasn't too busy despite the jays game just finishing. Everyone enjoyed their food! I had the Moroccan curry chicken. I don't really like rice but they were able to sub fries instead which I liked. The banana cream pie dessert wasn't very nice. Our server was friendly and the food came in a reasonable amount of time.
We went to Hunters Landing to watch the Jays game. The vibe did not disappoint; they had TVs everywhere making it a perfect spot for viewing. I ordered the turkey burger which was pretty good. We also ordered nachos, which weren't great. Instead of salsa, they used a margarita sauce. Most of the nachos were plain chips and with no cheese or dressing on them. Service was decent, considering how busy it was.
Pretty much all good things to say here. The patio was lovely, the staff was attentive, and the food was great although it did take a bit of time to arrive. Still, the overall experience was really solid.

The ambiance of the pub was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing evening. We ordered the Chicken Pico De Gallo pizza and white wine. The pizza was prepared from scratch, and the flavors were simply delicious. Even as someone who isn't usually a big fan of pizza, I found myself thoroughly enjoying every bite. The dining area at Hunters Landing Pub is impressively spacious, with numerous well-spaced tables. With the friendly and attentive staff, spacious dining area, and decent food, I'm willing to visit here again.

The venue is spacious, offering a variety of tables both indoor and outdoor. With plenty of TVs inside, it's an excellent spot to catch a game. On hot days, having mister on the patio would make it much more comfortable. We dropped by one evening for drinks and received great service. The next day, we returned for lunch before heading to the airport. We were attended promptly, but soon after a few more customers arrived, the bartender worked slowly through. Overall, it was a good experience.
We enjoyed a late-night happy hour at Hunter's Landing with $9 espresso martinis and $15 chicken sandwich with fries. The space is nice and spacious, and the server was attentive. The espresso martini was a great pick-me-up for the late night. Tacos are also just $5 during happy hour, and you can get a poke bowl at a discounted price. Definitely check out their menu for happy hour deals. I think it's a great value!
Service was quick and great customer service. I would definitely not mind coming back here for a quick bite.
My AirBnB hosts recommended HL for dinner when I arrived in Toronto. Considering it was a Blue Jays game night AND there was some kind of cos play conference in downtown, I was extremely impressed that I was seated immediately. The wait staff was fairly attentive as well. I asked to be seated outside because they had live music inside and it was LOUD. It was slightly quieter outside where music was blasting from across the alley and mingling into cacophony with the HL performer's tunes flowing through the open patio doors. Still, I could mostly hear the people around me. Not great for folks with auditory sensitivities though. My pistachio Gnocchi was really good and filling without being too much.
My friend picked this place to celebrate his birthday on a Friday evening. It had a lively and cozy vibe, thanks to the rustic colours and ecclectic decorations. I was one of the first guests to arrive, so my friend and I had time to chat while looking at the menu before everyone else arrived. Our waiter was a young friendly man with a cool Blue Jays shirt and a matching hat. He warmly greeted us and got us water. When everyone else arrived, we ordered Trio Dip, Mozzarella Arancini, and two orders of Korean cauliflowers to share. Then each person ordered drink(s) and main dish after. Each appetizer was a good portion size. My favourite appetizer was Korean cauliflowers as it was lightly crunchy and spicy! I was too full after eating appetizers, so I shared the Landing Carbonara with my friend. The Carbonara was creamy and rich, yum! The service from start to finish was excellent, our waiter and other staff came by to make sure that we were taken care of. They even prepared the birthday cake that one of the guests brought, so that we can focus on celebrating. Attentive and friendly service, delicious food, and energetic vibe, this place has it all! Tip: Fridays to Sundays fill up fast, so make a reservation early!
Great food and service. Tyrell explained the menu and gave us his favourites without prompting which really helped. Prices are fair. Menu is not extensive but just perfect number of choices with added specials. Interesting and yummy drink menu.
The food is good, the music is good, the drinks are good, and service is good. What more can you ask for? I went twice during my stay in Toronto, once for dinner and once just for drinks. Both times we had good service and enjoyed everything we ordered. Would definitely go here again! read more
Amazing food super cool spot and very affordable. This restaurant was an amazing find with a good variety of intimate or social seating both inside and outdoors, had great live music on Saturday night and food was delicious. The naan chicken club was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had and was the PERFECT size portion. The landing salad was also delicious. Not to mention how amazing the drinks were and servers were all so kind. 10000/10 place! read more

Mom and I were walking along the Harborfront Centre area and found this spot on yelp. I am so happy we found it because it was a vibe! We opted for outdoor seating because it was absolutely nice outside and the seating area had high tops with nice lights and umbrellas. There are also heaters for the winter time which were pushed aside as it's summer. We had burgers and the food was delicious!!!! We also ordered drinks which were worth it! I would recommend this spot as the food was served fast and the staff seemed very friendly. It's located on a street that's a little more parallel to the Harborfront but it's worth the walk. read more

Came here on a Sunday around lunch. We wanted to go to the restaurant next door and now see why that place was packed and this restaurant wasn't. It's a sports bar so I shouldn't have expected much. The only nice thing was the host that seated us promptly at a nice booth away from the sun since we had our 4-month-old baby with us. We were given a menu, we took 5 minutes to pick what we wanted and was ready to order. We waited about 15 minutes as we saw our server go to every table except ours, not even a single eye contact. Our section only had like 3 or 4 tables so I'm not sure why the service was so bad. Well once my boyfriend flagged down our waitress we ordered a pitcher of the white sangria which we normally wouldn't order but just felt like it today. I got the Seared Tuna salad and he got the hunter breakfast plate. We waited until our food came... but where was our drinks? 1 minute later a women I'm assuming is the manager came by to ask us how our first few bites were. I told her it was okay and my partner mentioned that we never got our drinks. She asked what we ordered, we told her and said it was okay we don't want it anymore as our baby was getting fussy and we already started our food. His breakfast was not very filling as he still felt hungry afterwards. The Chorizo was cut in half length wise.. where is the other half? The bacon was not crispy and neither were the potatoes. My salad lacked presentation. I could've plated this with my eyes closed. The placement of the Cucumbers and tomatoes look like a preschooler decorated the plate. The mango chutney in my opinion didn't go well with the dish, it actually ruined anything that touched it for me. I would not recommend coming here as the service and food were terrible. Might be okay for just drinks and snacks to watch sports on TV with friends but other than that skip it. read more

It's the summer season in Toronto and it's no surprise when the first few patios you hit up are booked for private events or slammed with people. We wound up at Hunters Landing for this reason. They have a big patio with high tops and umbrellas that looks out onto Fort York and Canoe Landing Park across the street. This makes for amazing people and dog watching. Speaking of dogs, the patio is dog friendly and there were a lot of pooches enjoying the outdoors with their owners. There was a chance of rain that day and it got really gloomy on the patio. We asked to be moved inside and it was easy for us to make the switch. The inside is pretty nice too and there are big glass windows that can open up like doors so you can kind of emulate sitting outside. We shared a dip trio app this time which had 3 different dips and dippables. It was a combination of an eggplant (babaganoush style) dip, a hummus, and a red pepper cream cheese. The scoopers included garlic toast, soft pita, and tortilla chips. My favourites from this were the red pepper dip and the garlic toasts - I could've had a full app of just these. A tip - if you sign up to use their wifi, you can choose to give them your email and a few days later you'll get a coupon for a free appetizer later. read more
For the most part, everything was good here until a mouse was spotted. But I'll come back to that. I had already eaten but my friends were hungry so they got food and I got dessert. The mascarpone cheesecake with berries was absolutely delicious. Whipped to perfection, just the right sweetness in the cream, and the right level of tartness from the raspberries. In fact, everybody had their share of my cheesecake. Drinks were good. Food was great from the cauliflower wings to burgers. My sister gets up to use the bathroom and she comes scurrying back. Kids at another table hop out of their seats trying to find this mouse. We told our server about the mouse and he promised us that they were an absolutely clean establishment. They had the patio garage doors open earlier while they were moving furniture and the mouse must've come in for warmth. Seems likely. But it still doesn't bring much comfort to anyone to see a mouse racing across the floor while dining. read more

It's unfortunate that my first experience at Hunter's Landing was a bad one. I really wanted to like it because it's in a prime location with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I also really liked the vibe/decor of this bar and grill. Too bad I won't be returning. We were looking for somewhere to eat on Saturday night and gave them a call to see if they had room for reservations. They said no and told us that we could just go and wait for a seat. We were staying at the condo across Hunter's Landing so we went to go check anyways and it was pretty empty inside. When we arrived, the two hostesses at the front were just chatting. They didn't really greet us - just told us to go inside and sit anywhere and went back to talking to each other. The music inside was so loud that we couldn't even have a conversation. Our server came to greet us and she was very friendly, but she was basically shouting the entire time because it was so loud. She did go turn the music down before coming back to take our order so that was better. There were about 8 of us so we ordered our mains plus a pitcher of sangria to share. One of our girls in our group is allergic to strawberries and we made that clear to our server who advised that while none of the dishes we ordered contain strawberries, they do have strawberries in the kitchen so she'd make a note of it just in case. Our food and drinks arrived and all was well until my friend started feeling a little itchy. Then we realized that there were strawberries in the sangria. The menu mentions "seasonal fruit" and after advising them of the strawberry allergy, you'd think that they would omit it. We called our server over right away and she was saying something like she didn't make the connection. She apologized immediately and called her manager over, who comped my friend's part of the meal. While we could she really was genuinely shocked and sorry about the situation, it still is a huge mistake and it's a lucky that my friend's reaction was not life threatening. read more

This was my 3rd visit at Hunters Landing Bar Grill. The first time was a few years ago when they just opened. I was surprised as to why I didn't come back here sooner. I love Bloody Caesars and knew they have a crazy one! DRINKS (4.5/5) HUNTERS CURE $16 (4.5/5) Let's start with drinks because I enjoy my Hunters Cure very much. The Hunters Cure came with 2 oz of Absolute Vodka and garnished with an entire lobster tail, pizza slice, jalapeño Havarti, bacon, fresh cut vegetables, pickles. The drink came in a BIG Mug! It was a large drink! It was spicy but won't burn your lip. I could add a little bit more spice into it next time. We ordered two of those. We got only one Lobster tail because they ran of out the lobster. We were fine. They didn't charge us the full price. It was reasonable. However, we would prefer to have lobster tails lol. Maybe we came too late, so everyone ate all the lobsters! lol HONEY SMASH $13 (4/5) I had the Honey Smash the 2nd time I went to Hunters. It was sweet and I thought there was only a little bit of alcohol in it. I was wrong lol. I turned red after! Love the taste! FOOD (4/5) The first visit, we had CHICKEN 100 MILE and TURKEY BURGER. The second visit, we had LANDING BREAKFAST and COWBOY BRISKET. CHICKEN 100 MILE $25 (4.5/5) I think this dish is called, MAPLE CIDER ROAST CHICKEN. However, it said Chicken 100 miles on the receipt. The chicken was delicious and sweet. You can taste the maple cider right away when you had a bite of the chicken. It came with Maple Cider Chicken, Market Vegetables, Roasted Herb Potatoes, Pan Gravy. I love it but my husband preferred Turkey Burger than the Chicken. He said Turkey was juicy and tender! TURKEY BURGER $21 (4.5/5) Ground Turkey blended with Apples and Dijon, Chipotle Aioli, Creamy Cabbage Slaw. My husband loved it so much! LANDING BREAKFAST 13 (4/5) Simple & Easy Breakfast! Nothing can go wrong with eggs and bacon!? COWBOY BRISKET $15 (3.75) I wanted to have Lox Stock and Eggs because I wanted to have smoked salmon for brunch. Unfortunately, they ran out of it (the 2nd item that was sold out!). The host was very nice. She suggested met to have Cowboy Brisket instead. I like it but the brisket was a bit tough to chew and I was already full from the big mug of my Bloody Caesar. SERVICE (4/5) Service was excellent. They were very nice, friendly and helpful. AMBIANCE (4.5/5) Perfect for a date night or party with friends and family! OVERALL (4/5) I will come back again! read more

Taylor's Landing is my favourite Landing but one of the Managers was promoted to Hunters Landing so we're here to show our love and that we miss her....you Kim! Blackie Chan and a group of the Boyz are here to party tonight after a long boat cruise on the lake. There's a very nice patio but it's too cool to sit outdoors so we're indoors. My drink was the Saturday feature of a 30oz stein of Coors Light $11. For my meal, I selected the S.O.T. Fish Taco $16 and Crispy Calamari $14. Excellent service provided by Benjamin! The meal was delicious. Ambiance...very nice. Green P street parking is available. read more
The Landing Cure is a show stopper. Other tables will look at you like you're crazy. You won't know where to begin. Pizza, lobster or Cesar? So many options... That being said, although it's an awesome experience and photo opp, it is probably near the bottom of my list of best tasting Cesar's. It needs more of everything; horseradish, Tabasco, flavour in general. But the toppings were fun! I ordered the classic eggs benny as my main and was underwhelmed. The smallest pieces of peameal bacon that I ever did see, and a teaspoon of hollandaise. The showstopper (and reason I didn't give 2 stars) were the potatoes. Oh man... those potatoes were seasoned expertly. They saved the day. read more
Hunters Landing was an absolute nightmare to spend my birthday at. I will never be returning. We made reservations for 1pm, and got there right on time. Walking up Fort York Bvld, you can find their patio first and finding a way in can be difficult. We stand around awkwardly at the podium set up by the patio until a server comes out and tells us to go inside to the front desk. We do, and are greeted by a friendly hostess who wishes me a happy birthday (as they had asked if there was a special occasion for the reservation over the phone). At this point, I expect the restaurant to be a pleasant experience given the friendly and welcoming people working here. We're seating by the doors, having a nice booth that has the sunlight but avoiding the direct wind. The restaurant is not busy, but isn't too dead either. That being said, it takes a while before our server reaches us. When he finally does, he introduces himself and grabs our orders and drinks. Moments later, our food arrives and this is where things start to go downhill. The runner who brings our food has three plates and places the first two down no problem. The last one is mine, and when setting down the plate, she doesn't notice my glass of iced tea under it and knocks it over, causing the glass to break and the tea to spill all over my (WHITE! :( ) shirt. We're all shocked and the runner stares at us and goes, quote, "oh! uhh...I'll be right back!" but she never comes back. Our server does while I am wiping myself down and he is surprised, with no knowledge of what happened. I am annoyed that the runner hadn't at least notified our server of what had happened, and hadn't even returned. We stand there awkwardly as our server cleans the table. I feel like during this time, someone should be reseating us while someone else cleans the mess but we watch him clean the table, as he voices that the booth should be okay after. Wouldn't the booth table and seats still be incredibly sticky? Not to mention the puddle of iced tea we were standing in. We ask to sit outside instead. Our food attracts bees and it makes our entire meal unsettling, as we are swatting insects the entire time. No one checks up on us the entire time, regarding food or post-spillage incident and no one issues an apology. After the incident, I felt the servers and runners had suddenly became cold, as if the spill was /our/ fault though it wasn't. The food was mediocre to me, though my friend who got the same thing said she enjoyed hers. My other friend said her burger tasted like plastic. I am given another iced tea, in a smaller glass. Service is awfully slow and lacking a sense of customer service. When trying to get the bill, we had to ask twice to two different servers and are forgetting about until one of my friends goes to find him, and he remembers after having eye contact with her. Again, the most upsetting part of my experience at Hunters Landing was that no apology was given, and nobody had cared to ask if I was okay though there was broken glass involved. If you're looking for a place to eat near Harbourfront, I'd suggest The Morning After next door. read more

We were a table of 5 and we were seated out side pretty quickly. We decided to move inside as it got a bit chilly. Out waiter did take a bit long to come for our orders and our food including our apprizers took about 30min to come out. I ordered the steak, medium well not burnt wth poutine fries and a corn. The steak came put crispy it literally tasted like charcoal. The poutine fries were made in a gravy that seemed to be pretty old. The corn was literally the only thing I ate. My friends ordered the mac and cheese burger which was good, a penne pasta and a steam salad. Their food came out pretty good. If you are very hungry you probably shouldn't come to this place as you'll be waiting a decent amount of time for your meals. read more

Hunters landing is in cityplace and very popular amongst people who live in the area. The food is always consistent and tasty. The service could use a bit of improvement. They have a good brunch menu and mimosa special on weekends. The Nachos are delicious read more
