Really enjoyed the fresh ingredients and cozy atmosphere here. The dishes were nicely presented and everything tasted well balanced. Service was friendly, just a little slow when the restaurant got busy. Overall a great spot for a casual dinner downtown.

I am back once again with a new review. I'm so happy everytime I come back here. To start, the food is always delicious, the chefs always do their best to accommodate without compromising quality, and you can really tell that they care about the quality that gets served. This time they updated the menu with heavier fare for the winter and since my last visit 3 years ago, I let them know that i developed a gluten intolerance in top of my pork and dairy intolerance. Servers were well versed and so friendly and made sure i was pleased with my dinner service. Now onto the food. Because of my intolerances they took liberties to adjust what was on the menu (I always order the chefs tasting menu) and replaced a few items (in my case, gave me 2 off menu items and an additional sweet fudge treat to send me off!) . Please note everything was gluten and dairy and pork free. Amuse bouche was something from their specials - salmon tartar on shiso, but was not on the chefs menu. Creamy but very light. Beef tartar with crispy potato. Surprisingly flavour packed - don't be fooled by the size. My favourite was the carrots - surprisingly delightful - I had a ratatouille moment with the ingredients. By themselves it's unassuming but when you pair them together it's an explosion - nay, a symphony!- for your tastebuds. Seafood rice tastes exactly like a congee - quite delicious but I missed out on the chili butter spice due to the dairy intolerance. I imagine it would've been completely perfect, however I loved it this way also because its exactly like how I would make jt and was so comforting. Creamy without the cream, scallops were scalloping... the only thing I didn't care for was the cilantro because unfortunately i have the gene that makes things taste like soap but I ate it anyway. (Not a great look for someone already intolerant to so many things). Next was a surprise off menu item of the chicken. This was the solid favourite right next to the carrots. Fuckin delicious. Perfect balance of spice, salt, fat, and acid. And the plating was beautiful! And definitely outshined the man beef dish. Stole the show even. The beef dish was surprisingly mayo forward. But everything was cooked perfectly. My favourite part of this was actually the gluten free bread because I have been craving it all week and I don't know how they did it but it was so soft and moist on the inside but crunchy on the outside. The last desserts were vegan. By that point I was so full I can't even remember enjoying it but what stood out to me the most was the vegan bar. It had 3 layers: chocolate crumb base, coconut cream base, and a layer that sort of tasted like firm tofu. And it was topped with a sweet lemon touille. The chocolate fudge and vegan chocolate icecream. Chocolate isn't my favourite flavour and i was low key hoping for sage and sweet potato because it sounds like such a unique flavour combo.. but I enjoyed it with the sea salt as it helps cut the chocolate sweetness. I understand why they couldn't serve it. But now I have ideas on how to try making it at home. Very happy with the service here. I'll continue to share this joy and this restaurant with my peers.

    Lunch Prix Fixe Menu

Visited here for work with a client for another shot at their lunch menu - and this time it was a hit! There's a reason this restaurant is considered a Toronto institution after all. Among everyone we ordered almost everything off the menu and the food was delicious with no exceptions - actually, the person who had the rabbit "just to try it" wasn't too sure about the dish after all...that one should be left to an adventurous soul. I was however just slightly disappointed with the dessert I selected - the earl grey rhubarb trifle - which sounded very fancy on paper but did not end up delivering as much to the palate. Next time, I'll stick with the traditional offerings. Service was excellent as always, with staff that were consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating - they do everything they can to make you comfortable and welcomed. The space was a little cramped (relative to other upscale restaurants in the area), but it wasn't a problem having conversations or being heard. I noticed on their website that they now offer a two-course fixed price lunch for $49 (add $10 for any dessert), which is so reasonable I would even come back without work as an excuse!

Richmond Station never misses. Every visit feels like a masterclass in thoughtful cooking and effortless hospitality. The menu strikes that perfect balance between refined and comforting--beautifully plated, but never precious. From impeccably cooked mains to desserts that quietly steal the show, each dish is layered, balanced, and clearly made with intention. Standouts across the table: bold flavours, clean execution, and sauces you want to chase with a spoon. The burger? Still one of the best in the city--juicy, rich, and worth the hype every single time. Desserts are elegant and restrained, letting quality ingredients do the heavy lifting. What really sets Richmond Station apart is consistency. You can feel the pride in the kitchen and the warmth in the service. This is Toronto dining done right--approachable, elevated, and deeply satisfying. A must-visit, and an easy return.

Very nice spot! A service included restaurant is unique in Toronto. Food was great, and was presented nicely. The staff are knowledgeable in the menu, and everything on the plate is explained as it is presented.

I came here for a special celebration, and was blown away by the tasting menu. It changes regularly, and I was most excited by the sashimi (wonderful) and the beef main. The beef main came with a croquette that was out of this world and the softest bread I've ever had. The service was also top notch. We had a few cocktails and I had the wine pairing but that honestly was kind of underwhelming, I would skip out on drinks here. The food and desserts more than made up for it though. The space was busy but very nicely decorated with a lovely vibe. I can't wait to come back and try another tasting menu!

We went for the Six Course Chef's Tasting Menu as a family since I owed them a big favour recently. The menu probably changes with the seasons so I won't get into every detail, but what really stood out was how thoughtfully each course was prepared and how approachable the flavors were. Even someone not familiar with Western fine dining would find it enjoyable. My mom usually sticks with Asian cuisine, so I was a little nervous about how she would take it. Watching her finish every plate, even down to the last drop of sauce, honestly made me smile the whole evening. The service added to it too. The servers were warm and attentive, and when I saw her make the effort to express her gratitude to them directly, I knew we were in the right place. For a first experience with a tasting menu like this, Richmond Station feels like the perfect spot. It goes beyond just being "delicious" and becomes a shared memory. The dining room was full, but everyone seemed happy and relaxed, and that energy made the night feel even more special. Richmond Station is now where I'd start if I ever wanted to introduce someone new to this kind of dining.

Richmond Station delivers an outstanding dining experience. They have their own farm which supplies ingredients to the restaurant, therefore the menu changes to farm to table. The duck main, is absolutely delicious. The duck is one of the best I've had, perfectly balanced red reduction sauce and some kind of parsnip cake (?) that elevates the dish even more. The duck was cooked to perfection, full of flavor and beautifully executed. Station burger and char were excellent as well but not as amazing as the duck. The starters: mushroom calamari , liver mouse and beef tartar appetizer - were great especially the mushrooms! Had nothing like it before, tasted better than regular squid calamari. The other starter, the charcuterie, was a bit disappointing. Everything which was rich, comforting, and incredibly tasty. Overall, the food was flawless - I'd give this place a 9/10. Highly recommended for your fancier dinners out.

Five stars for the amazing food and attentive service at Richmond Station! Every dish felt carefully crafted and full of flavor. I especially enjoyed how the menu reflects Toronto's diverse culinary scene--it's a wonderful snapshot of the city's food culture. Can't wait to come back and try more!

First time at Richmond Station- we sat at the chef's counter and it was very cool! We ordered the beef tartare to start and it was very well balanced and good. Then we ordered the duck and chicken and they were both delicious. The duck was cooked perfectly and the bok choy and daikon radish that accompanied were crunchy and tasty. The chicken was made into a roulade and had basmati rice and a curry sauce with cashews that was very good. Seeing service happen through the open kitchen window was so much fun from a fellow chef and the service was fantastic.

I've been here more than 6 years ago for their station burger and love that it's been a staple on their menu and kept the same amazing juiciness/flavours that I remembered from it! The service was great - I definitely recommend a reservation as it gets quite busy for dinner! We tried the Brie and that was great - a bit of sweetness from the brûlée and apple compote. Paired really well with the cheese and the crunch of the crostini. We also ordered the station burger (the best - and a generous amount of rosemary fries with it!) and the arctic char. While the arctic char was good - it was a bit too umami for us and were looking for a bit of freshness in the dish to balance it. It was still great though. The meal also came with complimentary homemade bread and a small fudge to finish off the meal which I really appreciated because we all want a bit of sweetness to end off a meal but not always have room for dessert! I wish more restaurants did this! Will definitely be back!

I've come here before for their tasting menu a few years ago which was probably one of my favourite meals ever. Their tasting menus change, so I can't remember everything I got but it was all so delicious. I came back in March for my anniversary and still really enjoyed everything but didn't think it was as memorable as the last meal I had here. This time we ordered from their regular menu and got the burger, lamb gnocchi (which was a special/seasonal I believe), scallops and liver pate. I loved the scallops - tasted very fresh and the liver pate was delicious as well but I didn't love how they paired it with a soft bread vs more of a crostini or cracker. The lamb gnocchi was just okay for me and burger was solid. Overall, based on my last experience, I still rate this place a 4/5 and would come back for another tasting menu!

My wife and I had dinner on a rainy Thursday evening around 1730. We rode the subway in from out by the airport to the Osgoode stop and walked three blocks or so to get there. One probably should make a reservation in advance, as several couples were turned away while we were there. The dining room is split into two sections by a staircase. We were seated in the front room at a two-top next to a pleasant younger couple. There is also a long high-top community table stretching almost the room's length with seating on each side. Conversations were lively, and the space had a positive vibe. Our server greeted us shortly after we were seated, helped us navigate the menu, and took our drink order. We selected an IPA on tap and a lager in a can on their specials chalkboard. Along with our beers, they brought some sourdough bread with sunflower butter. Yum. My wife and I both ordered the station burger. Served in a cast iron skillet, it had a pile of fries. The burger was messy and delicious. We both went to the restroom afterward to wash our hamburger hands. A couple may be able to split the burger, enjoy a starter or two, and be happy. Overall, we had a great time at the Station. The service was excellent and friendly.

This was first on our list, located in the Scotiabank Tower on Adelaide. We got a nice corner table, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, not too loud but not library-like either. We were seated very promptly, and our server took care to attend to my friend's allergy. She even asked to change my friend's cutlery when another server brought the wrong salad. My appetizer was a hot-smoked salmon pâté, which was ok by itself, but eaten with the pickles gave it that taste I wouldn't forget. I chose for my main the Petit Roast Dinner; the cut was excellent, full of flavour and juicy to boot. The gravy for said cut just brought the roast to another level. The sides were delicious as well, especially the crispiness of the potatoes. A clean plate was the end result! Finally to finish the meal, I chose the chocolate banoffee cheesecake - I never pass on any cheesecake when it's offered. And it didn't disappoint! The banana brûlée was an interesting touch, while having toffee sauce drizzled on the cheesecake was a first (and not definitely last) for me! All in all, it was a nice introduction to The Rabbit Hole, and I can't wait to go down there again!

Very helpful and pleasant people. I wanted something small, so opted for their pork tacos. You get 3 small pork tacos for $14.75, which is pretty good in terms of value. They were surprisingly meaty, and tasted decent. They would probably make a good sharing item for the table as they were quite salty. Now, if this were a taqueria, I would not be impressed with the tacos. So if you are expecting "proper" tacos, don't order them. Go to a taqueria, lol. But this is a corporate chain pub in a city, whose main goal is to make a large swathe of people happy. So within this context, I think they did a good job. The first course was Labneh with bread, hummus, & beef tartare. Second course was Lamb pide & pear salad. Third course was grilled branzino, middle eastern fried chicken, black truffle rice, and thrice cooked fries. Then there was dessert which was chocolate mousse cake & baklava. Because of my many food allergies the main server for our table was very attentive & specific in asking me what I wanted as modifications. For example I got a wagyu beef pide instead of the lamb. Every dish was really delicious, presented well & quite filling. I couldn't eat all of the food. Though I tried almost everything. Service: The pacing of the dishes was quite masterful. They really paid attention to when the food was going to come out. As I mentioned above the main server was very attentive to my food allergies. I really appreciated that as some restaurants aren't as attentive. The food was served family style so everyone could take what they wanted from the serving dishes. The dishes were served in little bowls along the tables with each bowl serving about 4 people. We had asked for one long table so it was a little snug. But we made it work. Ambiance: For dinner the lighting of the space is really dim. LOL. I would have appreciated just a little bit more light. The restaurant is in an old building so to use the washroom you had to go down two flights of stairs. The dining area is small also. But it's a pretty space. As mentioned above we asked for one long table to seat 15 people. I was expecting square tables but it was a bunch of small round tables pushed together. So the tables were really crowded with food from all the dishes. But the servers made sure to take empty serving dishes away as soon as possible. The music was a little loud for me so I had to yell to be heard. The place was packed though. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food, the service & atmosphere. The restaurant is close to Roy Thompson Hall & the other theatres nearby so it's a convenient location as well. It's too bad this place is only open for dinner. I grabbed a seat at the bar, ordered a drink, and listened to a podcast to wind down. It was exactly what I needed. The drink, Nutty Times, was not only delicious but the presentation was exciting too. The bartender was witty, he advised everyone near us at the bar to whip out our phones, because he was about to put on a show. Check out the video I added! Thanks to a couple of the reviews, we ordered -- among other things the spicy rigatoni. Absolutely unbelievable flavor that really wakes up your tastebuds and says, "Delicious, aren't I?" The answer is YES!!! We ordered the truffle fries for the table, which are the best I've ever had and I love truffle fries. I ordered the Sangria Rouge simply because I love a really good one. This met and exceeded all my hopes and dreams. In fact, I would say that that describes this restaurant. It was a wonderful, wonderful experience.

We ordered a bunch of things to share and the table ended up being full pretty quickly. Rock shrimp to start, truffle fries with truffle aioli, a wagyu caesar salad, half roasted chicken, and king oyster mushrooms. Everything was good, but the rigatoni completely stole the show. Creamy, spicy, perfectly cooked pasta and one of those dishes where you keep going back for another bite even when you're already full. Drinks were solid too. The Pornstar Martini and the Hot & Bothered were both great and fit the vibe of the place. The space feels polished but still lively, especially around the bar. Definitely the kind of spot that works for a night out, drinks with friends, or a late dinner. If you go, do not skip the spicy vodka rigatoni. I would come back just for that.
