the delicious Nutella Latte

Delicious coffee (they have nutella latte!!! :)) a very nice independent cafe with super friendly and attentive staff.

I love CocoaLatte! What a cute little cafe! What a cute name! Drop by for a Sunday lunch/brunch on a sunny day. The restaurant is quite busy but we have no problem to find a table either inside or outside at the patio. We order the Breakfast Burrito and a Tuna Sandwich Melt with Beet soup. The ingredients they used here are nice and fresh. You can even watch them preparing in their small open kitchen area. Though the portion is smaller but I think it is perfect for a nice quick meal without overeating. At least I feel like I have a healthy meal when I eat here. The Chai Latte and Cafe Lattee where both nicely made.. The only thing I don't understand why the Chai Latte is served in a paper cup and half of that is milk foam? The waitstaffs here are all so friendly and upbeat with such positive attitude. I will definitely be back and have a coffee when I am in the area!

Breakfast waffle and waffle breakfast sandwich

Good breakfast options. Nice back patio. Waffles could have been a bit crunchier/more well done. But generally tasty and nice brunch spot. Helpful, friendly staff. Order at counter.

I got takeout from CocoaLatte, so can only speak to the food. Would definitely like to go and check out the service and ambiance of the restaurant. I saw multiple items on the menu that sounded great, and ended up ordering the Breakfast Waffle ($12) with strawberries, bananas, blueberries and a side of maple syrup. The fruit really won me over with this meal. I find that fruit is so often an afterthought at restaurants, but at CocoaLatte it was all really fresh. The blueberries especially were crisp and not at all mushy or gross. A friend ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, with two fried eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, tomato and mayo. At $7, this is an amazing deal and was super delicious. I would probably get that next time.

Spontaneously walked in to grab a quick bite. Were impressed with efficiency of service. The menu is concise an on point. Also amazing coffee selection.

OMG! This sweet spot is right down the street from me! Despite being packed the service was efficient and friendly and the breakfast tostado... to DIE For!

I've been here both for breakfast and lunch. They have a nice little patio out back where you can sit in the sun, and a four seater at the front of the restaurant where you can watch people walking by on St. Clair Ave. There are also some seats inside, but frankly, it's a little stuffy and loud. The service is always friendly, although it can be a bit slow. The food is delicious and fresh, just the right amount so that you're comfortably full, not stuffed and not still hungry. For the non-dairy folks, you can get lattes with soy milk. You can also get milkshakes made from their selection of gelatos, something I'm definitely going to have to try next time. Mango gelato and soy milkshake? I say yes!

OMG!!! this place is amazing!! From the moment you walk in you are overcome with the smell of Nutella and crepes!!! A great spot for a coffee/latte date, meeting, lunch or breakfast! If I lived in the area, this would be my spot!! Lolly the manager is amazing! Super friendly and positive and attentive to every detail. Alice was great too. I ordered a Nutella Latte with Almond Milk and she made an awesome one!!

Had an amazing brunch here. This cute cafe was pretty busy but well worth the wait. They were super sweet and made pancakes as a special order. The avocado sandwich was pretty good but messy to eat. I needed a knife and fork. The fruit used was nice and fresh and they give pure maple syrup (not the fake stuff). I was really happy with the service and we didn't mind waiting for the food as long as it was made right. You can tell they take pride in the food they make. I was also surprised to see quite a few vegetarian options for the brunch. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

The best, fluffiest, moistest, most flavourful muffins. You don't know what you're missing in a muffin until you try these muffins!

Ariete E Toro - Piece of hair found in our sandwich :S

Ariete E Toro

(11 reviews)

Yonge and Eglinton, Mount Pleasant and Davisville

Ariete E Toro located near Yonge St. near Keewatin Ave in Mid-town Toronto serves up high-end…read moreItalian sandwiches. Opened in Feb 2025, the sandwich shop is set to expand opening a second location near Dundas and Ossington sometime this year. They are open daily from 11am to 5pm where you can pre-order off Ambassador for pick up or opt for delivery with Ubereats. When Ariete E Toro first opened last year, I recall seeing the long lines as it became super popular. Fast forward to a year later, I finally tried Ariete E Toro recently. The storefront is on a side street off of Yonge St. where it is take out only. They do have a bench near the window/entrance of the store but usually it's utilized by people waiting for their sandwiches. In the summer though, they have a small patio in front of the shop with some tables and chairs. Menu wise, Ariete E Toro has a variety of sandwiches with ingredients that work well together. You are also able to build your own sandwich if you'd like. They also have beverages like soda and water as well. The store boasts that all their ingredients are high quality. An average price of a sandwich is around $17. I decided to pre-order 2 sandwiches for pick up. These are the two sandwiches I got: - Enzo (mortadella di bologna, pistachio pesto, stracciatella cheese, chopped pistachio, lemon and basil oil). - Rogo Rogo (prosciutto cotto, 'nduja cream, smoked provolone, caramelized onion, arugula, and brown butter vinaigrette) Entering the store to pick up my order, staff were amidst completing my sandwiches. There was already a regular there chatting with staff. Service was quick. My sandwiches were packed and I had half of each at home. The size of the sandwich was pretty big! I could only finish 3/4th of the sandwich. Both the Enzo and the Rogo Rogo were tasty but the Enzo stole the show. The moist bread with the mortadella where the pistachio pesto and hint of stracciatella cheese along with a slight crunch from the chopped pistachio made for a perfect sandwich (I do prefer the bread a bit harder and crunchier though but the texture of this one was still good). I was sharing the sandwiches with my partner and as he opened the packaging he noticed a piece of hair in the sandwich. I would have given a higher rating on Yelp but finding someone else's hair in your food is off-putting. I do hope that if I return next time (either to this location or to their new location near Ossington/Dundas) that we won't find any surprises in our food. Overall, delicious sandwiches in Midtown Toronto, however, we did find a piece of hair in our sandwiches which.... kind of makes me hesitant to return. **Update** - I wrote a review on Google where the owner personally asked me to email them to rectify the situation with the piece of hair found in my sandwich. The owner apologized and stated that he was actually the one who personally made my sandwich that day (sliced the deli meat, etc.). He also made sure that he would speak with the bread manufacturer to make sure that they were aware of the situation as it may have come from the bread as well. He also gave me a refund for one sandwich as well as a $25 credit for if I wanted to give the sandwich spot another chance (the sandwich is too good to not go back!). That is what I call great customer service - making sure that an apology was given and that customers are happy. Would happily return again for their tasty sandwiches!!

Come here if you're interested in Italian sandwiches that are an absolute UNIT. These are heavy,…read morefilling, and definitely nap-inducing if you try to finish one solo in one sitting. Food: I got the Enzo - I'm a big fan of mortadella and pistachio pesto, and it's one of their OGs. I wasn't as big a fan of the sotto bosco, but overall the quality and portion sizes are solid. Presentation: Each sandwich comes in a snazzy box perfect for keeping the sandwich intact Space: Clean shop, more of a take out spot, with just one bench by the windows for seating Service: Quick and efficient - no line when I went right at opening on a Sunday. I came here hoping to satisfy my craving for a proper Italian mortadella sandwich after Eataly left me underwhelmed. Thankfully, this one hit the spot.
