    Pesto chicken sandwich

The rating I gave here was like a year ago, but I forgot to submit. But then when I open yelp again to leave a review for a recent visit, then I realized it is just the right experience. The coffee is okay, but the cafe is overall too cold. If you are dining in, you won't want to stay long with the super cold air conditioning in this late of summer. But what worse is that I have waited for 30 minutes for the food with various wrongly handled orders. Or misguiding menu. Such as regular coffee instead of decaf, menu labeled Ham and cheese without explicitly labeling that it is a croissant. They gave us some cookie on the house as an apology, but still overall has a lot of place for improvement. But I noticed was that the staffs that prepared the food transitioned, and caused the missed order. The croissant came straight from the oven to heat it up, and pleased on the table with name bad cheese. The smoke came out of it, but yet still taste cold in the mouth. It seems like a mystery, but I guess based on my observation that the ham and cheese croissant was prepared before hand and placed in the oven to heat up. While the cheese heat up fast, the croissant didn't heat up at equal rate. Which made the croissant less tasty. The pesto chicken sandwich was tasty with good flavor and a crispy bread. Although it took a while to prepare and a bit pricier compared to other cafe with similar food item. $14.99, given the smaller size too. The chocolate cookie was very good. The chocolate was gracefully integrated with the dough that made every bite of it delicious with the chocolate flavor. Overall, the food is good, the cafe ambience is good too. The service was intended to be good. This small cafe has all the ingredients for success, but it was a lot of small details not executed/ no longer executed well to have caused a degradation of experience.

Cute cafe by Romanas! I enjoyed the food more than the drinks (the latte wasn't really to my liking). Definitely loved the larger salad portion as I'm trying to be healthier! If you order the food, you'll be able to snag a table on either walls which I appreciated. Very cozy, and perfect to go in winter months like it is right now! Love how pretty the colours were for the matcha butterfly blue tea latte!

Visited the cafe today for brunch with a friend; it's a small family owned restaurant, service was great Parking at the plaza was full due to a supermarket located at the plaza and also some parking spots have snow pile still The food was great, portion was pretty big but this lovely cafe was cozy

I have always been a fan of Ramona's Kitchen. I'm glad they opened Ramona's Cafe, just a few doors down. The cafe is spacious, I love rustic decors, and the food is delicious! We ordered a Pesto Chicken Sandwich (comes out hot!) and Smoked Salmon flatbread to share. Both were very good! I saw photos of the Blue Matcha Lavender with latte art and rose petals on Instagram, and decided to order one. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out the way it should be :/ Please let me know when the batista is working, I'd love to visit again!

To be fair, we were in a grab and go situation after purchasing some bagels and cream cheese at Bafel Nash right next store. Ramonas Cafe is a suitable replacement for the Starbucks which occupied this space not long ago. Due to COVID-19 you have a few tables outside and no seating inside at this time. Therefore, you have a wide open interior with a showcase of some desserts and a choice of two coffee flavors at the time: regular and dark roast. For a large and medium coffee you are looking at about $6.00. Service was pedestrian and efficient, with us having to go back to the counter as we overlooked the bright orange lids at the milk station. Would likely comeback st some point to try a sweet or other item. -Zuk

Our experience here was very confusing and not very pleasant. So firstly, there is a Ramona's CAFE and a Ramona's KITCHEN in the same strip mall with different locations and different menus. We viewed the menu for the Ramona's KITCHEN online and decided what we wanted but when we went to order at Ramona's CAFE (albeit we could've been more observant) the menu didn't resemble at all what we saw online. It wasn't until we ordered and sat down did the party behind us clarify with them that there are separate locations. For food, we ordered the Smoked Salmon Croissant Benny and the Ham Croissant Benny. For drinks, we got an Iced Coffee and an Iced Matcha Latte. Most cafes have their matcha lattes come sweetened, so I clarified whether that was the case, and it wasn't, which wasn't a problem. I then asked if we could get simple/classic syrup added to it as a sweetener, which is typically complimentary, and they charged us $0.50 since they have to punch it in as a vanilla flavour syrup in the POS. The food itself was alright; both croissant dishes were light and well seasoned for the most part. It comes with a house salad, but the vinaigrette was too acidic for our liking. Also, the hollandaise was quite bland and almost just tasted like eggs and melted butter. The drinks were alright, but nothing special. Overall, it was not a great experience and the food wasn't amazing enough to salvage the experience as a whole. I was quite disappointed as I had high expectations for the place, and it didn't deliver considering the pricepoint. Maybe I'll check out Ramona's KITCHEN next time.

When your arrive at the plaza, don't be confused - there are 2 Ramona's here. 1) is the cafe and 2) the other is the kitchen. The kitchen is more full service type where as the cafe has a smaller menu and more cafeteria style where you pick up the coffee at the front, add your own cream. More self serve style. We sat at the cafe since there were seating available immediately where as the kitchen had quiet a bit of a wait to get a table. At the cafe, we got a few coffees and waffles. They were fresh and delicious. The seating was plentiful since most were getting either coffees to go or wanted seating at the kitchen. 10/10 would try other food at the Ramona's cafe. Would also love to try the kitchen another time as well to really be able to tell the difference in the menu.

Cute little cafe with full service kitchen next door. Great quality and priced coffee with expectedly higher priced but delicious treats to pair. We went on a Tuesday evening and only 1 other party was dining inside. This may be our new go-to local cafe

The space itself is bright, cozy, and modern. It's great for a casual brunch. The menu focuses on creative takes on classic brunch dishes, with most plates around $18-$25 and drinks about $6-$9. We tried the pork sausage shakshouka, pork jowl eggs benny, and a strawberry matcha latte. The drink was a standout--refreshing, nicely layered, and not overly sweet. The dishes themselves had good flavors and promising concepts. Unfortunately, the experience started off rough. Despite having a reservation, we waited over 30 minutes for a table during the busy Saturday brunch rush, and parking around the plaza was difficult. When the food arrived, the eggs in both the eggs benny and the shakshouka were overcooked, which was disappointing since runny yolks are key to both dishes. Overall, Corner Cafe has a nice vibe and an interesting brunch menu, but the long wait, tough parking, and inconsistent execution made the experience fall short this time.

Food 4/5 Eggs Benedict with Smoke Salmon was great. The chicken fettucine with spinach was also very tasty. The portions are comparable for a GTA uptown location. Will definitely revisit to try the rest of the menu.

But the egg was a bit overcooked, so not as runny as an authentic omurice. The croquette was very runny and a little too sweet. The Hojicha Latte was perfect though! Not too milky and had a subtle sweetness. Probably should have ordered one of their Soufflé Pancakes, but we were already full from our meal. It was lunch time, so the parking lot was pretty busy, but still able to find spots a little further away from the restaurant itself

I recently had a Yelp in-person experience at Minido. I got a ticket for free child admission. Since I don't have a child, I gave it to a friend who has a daughter. This review is a combination of my research to get them to enjoy their day here, and their experiences. The Yelp event was held at Minido Kids Cafe. The entrance is to the right of Bun Appetit, which is around the corner from Kinton Ramen. I found parking and backed into a spot. I went in and took the elevator up to the second floor. As an adult, I liked the space at Minido. It was exceptionally clean and spacious. You do need to remove your footwear before you go crazy exploring the area. There's space for you to find a cubby to store your footwear, and sit down to take them off or put them on before you leave. I used the washroom, which was to the left of the ball pit. It was extremely clean and bright. Minido requires that you make a reservation. Online is probably easier. It's what my friend did and didn't experience any issues. This place is only open Monday and Friday, and weekends and holidays. It's open from 10 am till 8 pm. Each child can get two hours of play for $25. Each additional hour requires coughing up $10. If you think that you child won't want to leave for hours, you can get an all-day admission for $39. On weekends and holidays, the admission fee is $35 for three hours. Adult admission is $25 per person. However, if you make a minimum purchase of $25 in food and drinks per adult, the admission fee gets waived off. Pretty good! The adult admission fee includes a complimentary speciality drink from the menu. My friend ordered food here, so she didn't get a complimentary special drink. It's only included with an adult admission. When my friend arrived with her daughter, a hostess unlocked the door and greeted them. They entered the cafe and the door was locked. It's good in case kids are roaming around and leave without truly knowing that they did. This cafe promotes play, motor skill development, communication, and more. My friend's daughter had a fun time playing. The place has Minido Market, a play area in which you can sell grocery items, store fake foods in the fridge, run the dishwasher, and more. She loved it. There's a ball pit that is a fun course. She went through tube tunnels, went down a twisty slide, and ended up in the ball pit. She made a friend during her time here, which my friend was thrilled about! They had a mom-daughter lunch afterwards. She ordered food at the Minido Cafe, which has a menu for both adults and children. My friend got the spicy pancetta udon. She enjoyed it. She said that the spice factor wasn't extreme. Her dish had bacon bits and pancetta that provided protein. She really loved how chewy the udon was. Nice! She also got an iced latte. She thoroughly enjoyed it and the caffeine kick that she needed! Her daughter settled for mac and cheese. She's got my tastebuds. The mac and cheese came with veggies and fruit. She ate it all up. Impressive! I don't know what she drank. I forgot to ask. They came here at 10 am and her daughter played for a couple of hours. They ate just after noon. She said that it wasn't all that busy on a Friday. I'm guessing that most folks come here after school, so I'd imaging the rush happens after 3 pm on weekdays. My friend said that it was a nice change of pace and enjoyed taking a breather as her kid played. She was thankful for free admission for her daughter. She loved the leisurely lunch that they had. Kind of like eating in a school cafeteria. I generally avoid eating in here...but it's the only place in the building to buy food. It seems they like to boost their prices whenever they want. That is what they told me I would have to pay when their "sign" clearly says $8.45 or so. I found it rediculous. So I said alright, no salad and just the kebab. They charged me $7 for this and this included 4 little cubes of meat and a few veggies for a small kabob. This sadly was still more than their advertised price as they listed it at a little over $5 for just a single kabob with no sides.
