Stopped into this little gem on Adelaide by the corner of Church in the downtown core on my way back from their neighbours Versus. It is a cute spot with a counter filled with sweet treats such as butter tarts, cookies, and pastries. They also had savoury items like croissants and croissant sandwiches. A fridge contained fresh press juices and regular pop was also available; alongside that they served Sloane tea and coffee as well. It is such a cute spot with it's all white interior and pink and gold accents. Staff are friendly . Wishing the seating was more comfortable--metal stools are pretty but hardly comfortable

Located on the northwest corner of Adelaide Street East and Church Street (just across from Terroni), this is the new kid on the block of the Toronto cafe scene and it seems to have all the ingredients to be a pretty successful one - variety of fresh pastries, sandwiches, salads, delicious coffee, decent amount of seating, nice large windows with the sunlight streaming into the shop making for a nice cafe environment, cute and cheerful decor, and friendly staff. I dropped by on a weekday morning for a treat and much-needed coffee and was pretty impressed. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality of the products are top-notch. I ordered a shortbread cookie and two coffees (one for a colleague - $2.25 each). The shortbread cookie (at $2.50) was denser than I expected, but buttery and delicious. I was really impressed with their drip coffee - which, as others have mentioned, they source from Propeller coffee in Toronto. I barely even had to add sugar - the beans weren't over roasted at all, and was wonderfully deep and delicious. As of my visit last week, they hadn't received their espresso machine yet, so they were only serving drip coffee. However, it looks like they'll be getting it in soon, so I'm excited to come back and try out their specialty drinks. A great addition to the Toronto cafe scene, and I'll certainly be back! For a shortbread cookie and two coffees, I paid $7.00.

I found this place for a quick breakfast during my trip to Toronto. It's a cute little shop with lots of options and the lady behind the counter was super helpful and patient while I decided what I wanted. The iced latte was very good and the ham and cheese frittata was very fluffy and not over cooked. I also snagged a macaron as a last minute decision and I'm glad I did because it was a nice little treat after breakfast!

Little stop-in cafe on Adelaide. They have a large assortment of sandwiches and salads - a good choice for lunch if you're in the area. I had the chia seed chocolate pudding! It was about $5 and came topped with fresh fruit. Tres bien, Bisous

The Eggs Benedict Florentine was so good that I finished the entire plate. The poached eggs with salmon and spinach had perfectly runny yolks, and the roasted baby potatoes on the side were very fragrant and satisfying. It was such a classic brunch combination, done really well. The Acai Bowl was fresh and light, with a nice berry flavor and a healthy feel to it. It was not the most memorable thing on the table, but it was still enjoyable and a good option if you want something refreshing and not too heavy before shopping. I went on a Saturday around noon, and it was very busy. I waited about half an hour for a table, but the turnover was fairly quick, so the wait felt manageable. The ambience was lively and pleasant, and the overall experience was still enjoyable despite the crowd.

Really enjoyed the appetizers and the entrees, with no room left for dessert! What is giving this two stars instead of four is the disgusting washroom! I have not been to a bathroom that has smelt or felt that dirty in a very long time, and this is from a seemingly upscale place! I almost passed out going into that washroom and lost my appetite! Based on that washroom alone, I would not recommend this restaurant! Yes, that's how bad it was.

First impressions? Wow. Aesthetically pleasing and beautiful. It was empty when I arrived, but the first thing that caught my eye was the attention to detail, to the colour scheme and decor. There's a cute patio outside. Inside? Beautiful interiors and the dishes used? A perfect match. A flower wall at the back with a neon sign also adorns the place. Overall, I felt the place is warm, cozy and inviting. Staff very friendly and even gave us recommendations on what to order. We ordered a gozleme (stuffed flatbread) and a slice of trilece. My only regret? Not ordering more. We were served complimentary Turkish tea. As for the food, I loved every bite and savored the touch of love added. I especially loved the trilece which was not too sweet, but just right. Washroom was also very clean. I instantly recommended this place to a friend who lives in the area. As for me, I look forward to coming back sooner than later, perhaps for their breakfast as it is a breakfast café after all. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the menu as it feels a little crammed and a bit hard to read with so much info on just 3 pages, but otherwise, everything else was great.

I found the menamen missing a depth in taste of a well stewed tomato base, and the beef tips were dry. The accompanying bread was phenomenal tho. The server was rushed and didn't seem to hear what I was asking for. I bought some cookies to take out and they were given to me already crushed and broken up in the clamshell container. Maybe I should have said something, it's telling that I didn't (I suspected I wasn't going to be understood and if a server is willing to hand over crumbled cookies, can I expected any ROI by saying anything?? I had already paid the bill so I just got out of there. When I tasted the crumbled cookies, I found them lacking in taste as well, not just super dry.
