Stopped into this little gem on Adelaide by the corner of Church in the downtown core on my way back from their neighbours Versus. It is a cute spot with a counter filled with sweet treats such as butter tarts, cookies, and pastries. They also had savoury items like croissants and croissant sandwiches. A fridge contained fresh press juices and regular pop was also available; alongside that they served Sloane tea and coffee as well. It is such a cute spot with it's all white interior and pink and gold accents. Staff are friendly . Wishing the seating was more comfortable--metal stools are pretty but hardly comfortable

Located on the northwest corner of Adelaide Street East and Church Street (just across from Terroni), this is the new kid on the block of the Toronto cafe scene and it seems to have all the ingredients to be a pretty successful one - variety of fresh pastries, sandwiches, salads, delicious coffee, decent amount of seating, nice large windows with the sunlight streaming into the shop making for a nice cafe environment, cute and cheerful decor, and friendly staff. I dropped by on a weekday morning for a treat and much-needed coffee and was pretty impressed. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality of the products are top-notch. I ordered a shortbread cookie and two coffees (one for a colleague - $2.25 each). The shortbread cookie (at $2.50) was denser than I expected, but buttery and delicious. I was really impressed with their drip coffee - which, as others have mentioned, they source from Propeller coffee in Toronto. I barely even had to add sugar - the beans weren't over roasted at all, and was wonderfully deep and delicious. As of my visit last week, they hadn't received their espresso machine yet, so they were only serving drip coffee. However, it looks like they'll be getting it in soon, so I'm excited to come back and try out their specialty drinks. A great addition to the Toronto cafe scene, and I'll certainly be back! For a shortbread cookie and two coffees, I paid $7.00.

I found this place for a quick breakfast during my trip to Toronto. It's a cute little shop with lots of options and the lady behind the counter was super helpful and patient while I decided what I wanted. The iced latte was very good and the ham and cheese frittata was very fluffy and not over cooked. I also snagged a macaron as a last minute decision and I'm glad I did because it was a nice little treat after breakfast!

Little stop-in cafe on Adelaide. They have a large assortment of sandwiches and salads - a good choice for lunch if you're in the area. I had the chia seed chocolate pudding! It was about $5 and came topped with fresh fruit. Tres bien, Bisous

The pastries and mochi breads are absolutely exquisite! I tried the black sesame mochi bread--light, pillowy, and filled with a delightful little white mochi surprise. The crème brûlée almond tart was incredible too, with its thick, eggy custard and a blueberry-almond center. And the Hitotoki matcha tart? Gorgeous and just perfect. It was my first visit, and I discovered the bakery through their 2nd-anniversary IG post. I bought about $20 worth of treats and got to spin their prize wheel--and I actually won the Grand Prize: a limited-edition gold Nespresso & milk frother kit! I literally jumped for joy. Yet another reason to love this incredible bakery!

It was okay. Tried three items:…read more Matcha Lava Tart - The staff said this had the strongest matcha flavour among their matcha items. But there was no "lava" at all... just a layer of cream sitting on a thick tart base. You do get some matcha flavour, but definitely not that rich and flowing matcha sauce I saw in those online reels. Matcha Mont Blanc - Too sweet. The green noodle-shaped topping is actually made from a kind of bean paste - not much matcha taste, but had a strong bean flavour instead. And again, it was too sweet to my liking. Taro Tart - This one was good. Taro-flavoured cream on top, with taro paste underneath, then a layer of custard with mochi at the bottom. Had a rich taro flavour. Still a bit sweet, but not as overwhelming as the Mont Blanc. Overall it was not bad, although TBH I haven't really found great matcha desserts in Toronto so far.

My wife always judges a French Cafe by their Butter Croissant ($3.00) and she liked it! She also noticed all the  staff speak French sp it gives it even more legitimacy.  She also ordered a Flat White ($4.50) which was also good. I ordered a Plum Almond Tart ($7.25) because it was the prettiest. It was super delicious so it was definitely a good choice! Service was courteous and friendly. You place your order at the counter and bring it to your table. Someone will come around to clear the dishes when you are done It is a great place to have a nice casual time eating and socializing. They make all their food in-house in the basement. There are products for sale such as coffee beans, fruit syrup, maple syrup, smoked sauces, olive oil, scented soap, wine glassware, etc. I will definitely come back again to try other items. There is free WiFi. The neo-bisto is not wheelchair accessible since there are stairs leading up to the entrance. There are two gender-neutral washrooms. There is free street parking on their one-way south-bound street. Review 2023-017

Hopped on my bike and a half hour later I was there. The friendly staff helped me by answering my question regarding eggs and which items did not have any in the recipes. This place was also super poppin' when I got there. It was earlish in the day around 10:30am and it seemed all the tables were pretty much taken. They are adding a dinner menu which is very exciting. Their pastries are phenomenal!!! Picked up a plum and pistachio tart, a chocolate mousse cake and an apple Danish for my mom. Plus a chocolate caramelized croissant. So much butter, and yet so good. Brought my container, which they happily used. The last time I visited this spot back in 2022, I vowed I would come back and take up space in that beautiful bay window seat. Yet I haven't followed through with that yet. One day. They also changed the name, since I was there last it was called Le Conciliabule Lab. Le Conciliabule means, "speak easy", as their website says. It was used back in the day to describe a place where people would come together and talk about everything and nothing. I can definitely say that happens here. What a beautiful concept, "everything and nothing". Now named Bisou, which means kiss. That's actually really simple and sweet. Since every pastry and any food item or beverage enjoyed here is a kiss for your tastebuds. Love it. Keep going team. You are amazing!
