Supercoffee has been in the Mt. Dennis community for now 12 years. I had just never been there…read morebefore but one Saturday I was making extra deliveries during the Christmas rush and needed a coffee. This place was my saviour. It wasn't until a few later until June 2025 I would join The Mt. Dennis 5K Fun Run Club that is on every Saturday. Every 5K Run starts and finishes at The Supercoffee. After the run each participant is awarded a Free small drink of their choice. After a few weeks I really started to notice how busy this little coffee place is and I guess that's one of the reasons this shop has now been here for 12 years. It's been here for 12 years because the coffee is amazing. It's just not the coffee but there's nice things to eat with your coffee. There's muffins, cookies, danishes, nut bars (energy bars - no sugar added) There's bananas and empanadas too. Some of the items are made at the Supercoffee, but the other items are prepared by local bakeries. All the staff that work here are very nice and friendly too. This place is a nice gem for this community, and has a nice atmosphere soft lighting, soft music playing. There are a few big tables inside as well with 5 small tables. You can work here on your laptop however there's restrictions on the weekends as space is needed so it's not allowed. You would be better to use the library across the street. In the summer months there's a nice patio in the back as well with music playing there too. If you live in or live close by to the York, South Weston area and specifically Mt. Dennis you should stop by and get yourself a coffee at this most amazing establishment.

Stopped here for an afternoon coffee and snack on our way back to the city; somewhat unlikely place…read more- but with the recently opened Mount Dennis station nearby - it does feel like it could get a lot busier! The ambience is interesting - partly like an old school diner, and partly like a hipster space. The coffee was great - definitely worth the stop. The Cheese, Pesto and Tomato panini was just fine - nothing to talk about. The price was great - so overall, good value for money.

This second location is located outside on the beautifully picturesque cobblestone road named Temperance Street. The building is historic and the calm interiors make you feel instantly at home. The staff was really nice and told me about their menu and seasonal items. In addition to coffee and matcha based beverages, the store offers food and merch as well. Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5

I did like the flavor of the regular hot matcha latte more, plus they made a very cute bunny latte art on it! Inside is small with minimal seatings but has a cool ambience for hanging out.

I'd been hearing about how superb Emma's Country Kitchen is for the better part of a decade and yet…read morewe only just recently made the trek to check it out. The place was more than worth the wait, as it turns out. And it's still doing extremely well, given how busy it was and how long we had to wait for a table (almost a full half hour!) We knew going in that we had to try a few of the joint's most famous dishes, the Cinnamon Bun Pancakes, the Breakwich, and Emma's BLT. It was clearly way, way too much food but everything was so good that I had zero regrets. In particular, those pancakes are as flavorful and scrumptious as I would've hoped. The two savory sandwiches fared just as well, and it was clear that they had been assembled with a tremendous amount of care. The busy atmosphere was fun, and our server was friendly and helpful. Yep, I can see why Emma's has managed to stick around all these years.

It had been a while since my last visit, and I was reminded right away why this place stands out…read more The service is incredibly warm and personable--something you don't often come across in Toronto. The biscuits were just average for my taste, but the home fries were excellent. The eggs Benedict could have used a bit more hollandaise--something I'm sure they would have happily provided if I'd asked, but I didn't. The highlight of the breakfast was the special menu collaboration with Sanagan Meat Locker. The savory cornbread pancakes were outstanding--served hot with crispy edges, layered with pimento cheese, and topped with butter and honey. Paired with the blueberry sausage from Sanagan, it was an unforgettable combination. I really loved this collaboration with Emma--it was creative, comforting, and absolutely delicious.
