Location: Inside Bayview village where all of the little restaurants are. By the Scotiabank entrance Parking: A suburban mall so there's tons of free parking it's just sometimes really busy. Decor: They all basically look the same. Chairs tables. It's nice. Light and bright and happy. Is Bayview village if you haven't been inside in the area where there's food All the places have these patios that are actually on the inside of the mall hallway. The food: All the breakfast foods but fancy. Look at my pictures actually look at all the pictures everything is beautiful and it actually takes as good as it looks. Which is great in a restaurant. Staff: Everyone was nice kind of jokey. Would I be back? Yes I would. Breakfast was delicious.

The bad: the wait is terrible but they do have an online system where you can 'line up' before you even arrive to minimize the amount of time you're waiting. Also in the winter, tables are cold by the door, Because so many people are going in and out it's not the best experience for eating wintertime. The good: the portions are big which is why I think their place is so busy. And the good is decent. It's not spectacular but it's good enough if you're in the area I would go back when the weather is warmer and if I was nearby. It wouldn't be worth a drive though. Service was ok. Nothing special but adequate. I enjoyed my meal more than my friend did. But she is definitely pickier. lol

This location is good the service was great. Food was good as well I got the cinnamon-bacon which was fresh and potato's tasted amazing. Ambiance is nice for brunch. They seated us pretty fast on a Sunday which was surprise. They have a large space which is nice. Washrooms were clean.

Every now and then we visit Pur & Simple for a delicious brunch. I am not sure if they accept reservations on weekends coz they are very busy and wait times can be up to 20 mins but that's okay coz we love the food and service so it's totally worth the wait. Today I had the vegan toast which came with a small bowl of fruits and it was fantastic! My partner had the Garden Fresh skillet and enjoyed it as well. The staff here is very friendly particularly Josephine who always checked on us. The restaurant is spacious and bright and since they are in a plaza, so there are lots of parking spots. They are close to Wilson subway station.

We went to this place for a Friday brunch. The place was packed and we were lucky to be seated immediately. The ambiance was compatible with a nice restaurant in a shopping mall. I had one of their skillets containing various meats and eggs and potato and cheese. It was well prepared and tasty. The service was timely and friendly although I wish our server would speak a little bit louder overall, we enjoyed our visit. If you want to have a nice conversation with a friend over a tasty brunch, this place is a great spot in Toronto.

Came here at 1:30pm on a Monday in December during the time in between Xmas and NYE and it was slammed! We waited about 30 mins for a table for 3 people. Considering this place closed at 3pm, there was a steady stream of customers waiting to be seated as well as all the tables being full. I ordered the fried chicken eggs benny with non-spicy hollandaise sauce as well as a regular latte with oat milk. Their espresso and coffees were all made with a Nespresso machine. Their eggs bennies are the most popular items on the menu and you can have the choice of getting spicy hollandaise - which is what my friend did with her kimchi eggs benny. My husband got the savoury crepe and it was also very tasty. All the meals came with their signature P&S potatoes which were basically home fries. Overall I really enjoyed the meal, the service, and the vibes. It is definitely different than your normal Cora's or breakfast spot in terms of quality but the same vibe.

My friends and god kids came here on a Sunday for brunch and the place was packed! The line kept on getting bigger and bigger but for a good reason! I didn't want a big breakfast and opted for the Santa Fe Benedict. It was delicious but the cheese was not melted at all. The potatoes on the side were hot and salted. The server was kind and passed by to ask if we needed more coffee. We didn't have to wait for. Along time which was fantastic as well. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

A little pricey but they were generous with the amount of protein, and being 5"2 Asian girl, I had leftovers lol. The very cherry chocolate cheesecake was enjoyable the first few bites for me and my husband, but ended up getting a bit too sweet! Might be better to share with at least one more person. The menu can be quite overwhelming since they give you so many options, but it would be a good spot for large groups. Highly recommend making a reservation, especially during the weekends.

We had to wait 1.5 hours for a table - we decided to explore the Yorkdale mall to kill some time and when we finally got to sit, we were told they ran out of the fried mac and cheese balls which was one of their most popular item and something we really wanted to try. Anyway, our server said she didn't see any bread and will bring us some if she sees it. Kinda weird... We ordered our food and the wait time was quite long. The calamaris were really bad. No taste whatsoever, just deep fried and served. The Asian chicken nachos were okay but it barely had any chicken in it. For mains the chicken madeira was the only highlight of our meal. The chicken was tender and flavourful and the mashed potatoes were really well done (can't go wrong with that, eh?) but the spicy chipotle pasta didn't have enough sauce and it needed a good mix tbh. The taste was good though. The rigatoni was also very mid. Given the average food taste and the service, I don't see myself coming back, that's for sure.

On a Sunday evening, it was quiet and intimate. Our server, whose name I did not learn, was excellent: kind and willing to make recommendations. Union Social has an excellent menu, with lots of diversity to cater to all palates, but not so many items as to be overwhelming for either staff or customers. We started off with cocktails, and my son's Citrus Mule -served according to tradition, in a copper mug - was so tasty. I enjoyed my Smoky Apple Old Fashion so much. It is worth coming here for a cocktail alone. Now, on to the mains (we skipped the appetizers, but the shrimp tacos did look tempting). I explained to our server that I was torn between the Smokehouse Beef Burger (which I regretted not ordering on a previous visit) and the Spaghetti Positano, a seafood pasta finished with lemon-herb breadcrumbs. She enthusiastically and energetically recommended the pasta (I love it when they actually give a recommendation, as opposed to, "Well, it depends what you want"). I was not disappointed! The seafood spaghetti was terrific! Surprisingly, the breadcrumbs more than compensated for a sprinkling of parmesan. I savoured the leftovers the next day, and I'm still thinking about it. The other diners, who ordered Cobb Salad, the Chicken Sandwich Special, and the Tuna Bow, were similarly satisfied. Apparently, the Steak Frites and the Fish and Chips were outstanding, as was my Pasta Positano (especially for garlic lovers!). A few other diners ordered dessert: they each had creme brulee, smoking hot from being freshly torched. The surface featured that perfectly glossy, lightly burned sugar, which always reminds me of a caramel-colored skating rink. The dessert was, according to my daughter, who is a connoisseur of creme brulee, was perfectly done. To finish off, my son (don't worry, he's an adult) had an espresso martini. I had a sip, and I can totally vouch for it being so divine! We had a very satisfying meal, and I'd only wish that I knew my server's name so that I could acknowledge how excellent she was. I'll be back. I keep planning for the burger, but right now, I could sure go for another helping of Spaghetti Positano!

We dined on a Saturday afternoon, so business was on the slower side. At first the service was great, however after we were sat the staff seemed to neglect us. Our server was very disorganized, letting us know he'd grab something for us but go and do 4 other things like grabbing drinks/plates for others and then forgetting about us. He touched 4 other tables and chatted with customers in between dropping off the bill and grabbing the moneris machine for us...now the food was fine however portions are very small and it was very expensive. If I were in the area again I wouldn't recommend coming back.

The portions were very generous, the food was delicious, and the whole experience felt comforting and satisfying. The Tonkatsu Sando was my favorite. The chestnut purée was not overly sweet, and the hojicha sauce had a nice balanced flavor that made the dish feel indulgent without being too heavy. There were still so many things I wanted to try because the portions were so big. The fried chicken waffles smelled amazing, and the pasta at the next table looked surprisingly good too.
