Pür & Simple was a great brunch spot with friendly service and a really nice atmosphere -- definitely a step up from your typical basic breakfast place. I had the 2 Eggs breakfast, and I also stole a few bites of my friends' tacos. The eggs were super soft and perfectly cooked. I hadn't had white toast in a while and honestly, it hit the spot. Simple but so good. Coffee is unlimited refills. I usually go for espresso, but this time I had it double-double style and actually loved it. Overall, everything was solid, tasty, and comforting. A very easy, enjoyable brunch spot I'd happily go back to. read more

Pur & Simple has several locations across the GTA, and we visited the Etobicoke location near Sherway Gardens for Sunday brunch. Despite the peak hours, the service was quick, and the bright, spacious seating made for a comfortable dining experience. However, the food itself was quite standard and didn't leave a lasting impression. We ordered the Dtox Smoothie (which lacked flavor), Santa Fe Benedict (the tastiest option), Sweet & Salty Crepe, Breakfast Brioche, Classic Breakfast, and Chicago Benedict. While everything was good, we've had better breakfast. Overall, it's an good spot for brunch, but nothing particularly special. Not sure if I'd go out of my way to return. read more

Y'all look at my picture and tell me if you'd pay $30 for this. The matcha latte (not pictured) was super watered down, half of it was ice and that drink was NOT cheap. I thought the fried chicken benny was actually really good but the portion was ultimately not worth the money to me. Went their last weekend and ordered the Eggs Benedict. Asked for the eggs to be runny. They came almost hard boiled. Told the server and she told the kitchen manager, who came over to apologize for the mistake. She ensured us that it would not happen again. Went there today and the same thing happened. Stressed to the waitress that I wanted the eggs really runny. The eggs came slightly less hard boiled but no where near runny. A 2 star Michelin chef once told me that eggs benedict is not really eggs benedict unless the eggs are runny. I told the waitress about my disappointment and she apologized but nothing happened. No visit from anyone this time. This is on top of the fact that we watched 3 other tables that were seated after us get their meals before us. It took 30 minutes to get a warm up on our over priced and inferior taste $7 coffees. It took 40 minutes for our meals to come but only after prompting our server. Then it took 5 more minutes but the gluten free toast ordered instead of the English muffin under the egg was barely toasted, like they just slapped it together at the last second. The server said there was a problem with the ordering system where the ticket wasn't printed on the kitchen side. Obviously, the business doesn't have proper control over their kitchen procedures. The table was cleaned but the salt and pepper shaker was not. After leaving and getting home, my wife noticed that I had sat on something brown and it was found to be chocolate. The seats at the restaurant are brown and I must have not noticed it on the seats. Unfortunately it also stained our vehicle seat as well. I am being generous with the 2 stars because my wife said her meal was "Okay" but not worth the expensive price. This will be the last time we will be going to Pur and simple. Great brunch spot if you are looking for unique flavour options plus the classic breakfast. They have a variety of options to choose from. Lots of tables here and clean as well! The service was very fast and good. We ordered the kimchi eggs Benedict which was amazing! The tangy flavour goes well with the light spice in the hollandaise sauce. The had other Korean inspired options in the menu as well. If you have a sweet tooth they have many great options for that as well. Canadian Eggs Meal: It was a bit smaller portions than what I was expecting but the quality of everything from the potatoes was nice, the meat and eggs were good quality. RiRi's Crunch Toast: My toast was nice and soft. The fruits were fresh and everything from the nuts to the caramel drizzle and maple syrup all complimented each other. The food is great. The service can be hit and miss. After being repeat customers, I kept seeing ads for Pur and Simple "kids eat free" from 7 to 9 am on Instagram. My family decided to go one Saturday morning since our kids were up early. We ordered the kids meals and our own separate meals. When we received the bill, we were told that the "kids eat free" only applies if one adult per child spends $25 before tax so it did not apply to us. My meal and drink came to $24.25 so we were not eligible. The ads on Instagram do not have any fine print or conditions posted. This is simply false advertising. There is no information on their website about this either. There is one poster in their restaurant with blurry fine print that is hard to read. In addition, perhaps our server could have taken the time to explain the conditions given that we were with children and I was less than $1 off from the offer. She herself said that management had just clarified that this offer applies on weekends so it sounds like the conditions are not clear even among staff. A previously very happy customer is not so happy anymore due to false advertising. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for the last few months, And decided the day before everything closes down again is the right time to try it. From the outside it looks small but once you go inside it is surprisingly quite spacious with a lot of seating and very clean. The menu is very interesting with a lot of Benedict options and a lot of options not normally seen at breakfast restaurants. I opted to try the fried chicken Benedict with spicy hollandaise, but had my eye on the Huevos rancheros and fried chicken and waffles (maybe for next time) The service is excellent (we were greeted by Ryan, who was very kind, polite and seated us quickly) The food was good, not blow me away good, but good. I've always loved eggs Benedict and have been looking for the best in the city (this was not it), but there with so many different Benedicts, I'm sure I will try them all out. The chicken was moist, flavorful, and perfectly fried. The hollandaise sauce was not as spicy as I would have hoped but was not bad. The potatoes were outstanding though! Overall I think 3.5-4/5 is pretty reasonable - I'll def be back to try the rest of the menu, especially the huevos! The food is ok, I would say 3/5. Staff are friendly. The whole place looks cleans and nicely decorated. The issue I had is that they were super slow. I arrived around 9 am on a Sunday. When I arrived, they weren't busy. I waited 5 minutes to get seated, another 5 minutes to ask for water, another 10 minutes to place my food order and this is after I chased down a waitress to let her know I need to order, and then another 30 minutes to get my food. I spent over an hour there, and about 50 minutes spent in waiting. I am not going back. read more
