First time trying Pür and Simple. I hate writing bad reviews but sadly my experience was disappointing. This location had a cute atmosphere but mid & veeerrry overpriced food. Service was pretty slow despite being relatively empty when my friend and I came. I ordered the fried chicken eggs benedict with a side of fruit and a matcha latte which came out to $30 BEFORE tip... Y'all look at my picture and tell me if you'd pay $30 for this. The matcha latte (not pictured) was super watered down, half of it was ice and that drink was NOT cheap. I thought the fried chicken benny was actually really good but the portion was ultimately not worth the money to me. I ate and drank everything I ordered and was still hungry afterwards. :( Want a better bang for your buck? Try Stacked pancake house instead, it has a more casual atmosphere but they feed you well and have a similar menu!

Great brunch spot if you are looking for unique flavour options plus the classic breakfast. They have a variety of options to choose from. Lots of tables here and clean as well! The service was very fast and good. We ordered the kimchi eggs Benedict which was amazing! The tangy flavour goes well with the light spice in the hollandaise sauce. The had other Korean inspired options in the menu as well. If you have a sweet tooth they have many great options for that as well. I couldn't choose so I just went with the Black & Blue which comes with pancakes plus the classic eggs, sausage and bacon. Pricing is similar to other brunch spots.

Cute clean breakfast spot with lots of great options and big portions. I got the keto breakfast, which was nice because it came with fresh veggies and bacon. Coffee was standard. We also shared the French toast, which was sweet but nothing special. The maple syrup was tasty with this. Service was quick as well.

Manpreet (our waitress) was the most ideal waitress. Attentive, kind, prompt, she was such a light on a harder day for me. We stopped by after a problem with our vehicle. This spot was clean, enjoyable, and great service wise! The food was pure and simple! As promised. We enjoyed the presentation, and taste. Thank you for being such a lovely spot. Manpreet deserves a raise!

One of the recent brunch spots that opened up in Etobicoke and it did not disappoint! Despite being a takeout order, the presentation looked amazing and tasted just as good. Canadian Eggs Meal: It was a bit smaller portions than what I was expecting but the quality of everything from the potatoes was nice, the meat and eggs were good quality. RiRi's Crunch Toast: My toast was nice and soft. The fruits were fresh and everything from the nuts to the caramel drizzle and maple syrup all complimented each other. Oh La La Crepe: A lot of fruits and a large portion compared to other crepe places I've had in the past. It was nice but wasn't anything above the usual crepe. Overall, a great spot for brunch in the Etobicoke area especially since there is a decent variety in their menu to choose from.

Great service, ambiance is casual with friendly staff and open and light dining area. The food was amazing and very filling. Would highly recommend this establishment.

The food is great. The service can be hit and miss. After being repeat customers, I kept seeing ads for Pur and Simple "kids eat free" from 7 to 9 am on Instagram. My family decided to go one Saturday morning since our kids were up early. We ordered the kids meals and our own separate meals. When we received the bill, we were told that the "kids eat free" only applies if one adult per child spends $25 before tax so it did not apply to us. My meal and drink came to $24.25 so we were not eligible. The ads on Instagram do not have any fine print or conditions posted. This is simply false advertising. There is no information on their website about this either. There is one poster in their restaurant with blurry fine print that is hard to read. In addition, perhaps our server could have taken the time to explain the conditions given that we were with children and I was less than $1 off from the offer. She herself said that management had just clarified that this offer applies on weekends so it sounds like the conditions are not clear even among staff. A previously very happy customer is not so happy anymore due to false advertising.

I have been wanting to try this place for the last few months, And decided the day before everything closes down again is the right time to try it. From the outside it looks small but once you go inside it is surprisingly quite spacious with a lot of seating and very clean. The menu is very interesting with a lot of Benedict options and a lot of options not normally seen at breakfast restaurants. I opted to try the fried chicken Benedict with spicy hollandaise, but had my eye on the Huevos rancheros and fried chicken and waffles (maybe for next time) The service is excellent (we were greeted by Ryan, who was very kind, polite and seated us quickly) The food was good, not blow me away good, but good. I've always loved eggs Benedict and have been looking for the best in the city (this was not it), but there with so many different Benedicts, I'm sure I will try them all out. The chicken was moist, flavorful, and perfectly fried. The hollandaise sauce was not as spicy as I would have hoped but was not bad. The potatoes were outstanding though! Overall I think 3.5-4/5 is pretty reasonable - I'll def be back to try the rest of the menu, especially the huevos! If you're in the area and indoor dining is allowed (or if they have their patio ready) definitely try it out!

This place was so good! We came here for Sunday brunch, and the place was totally bustling. We waited about half an hour for a table, which was not bad compared to other nearby places I had called up. Staff was very sweet and welcoming. My mom and I shared the veggie omelette which was so creamy and delicious-- I love the roasted red peppers and goat cheese combo, and the avocado really topped it off. For dessert we got the country style crepe, which was also fantastic. I'm usually a bit skeptical about crepes anywhere but a creperie but they turned out well. Love that all their fruits and veggies were super fresh, and locally sourced. They had really great gluten free options as well. Overall, best brunch food I've had in awhile.

Simply the best place to have brunch. I've tried few other brunch places and this is one of the best place. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service and, of course, food is always consistent and delicious. I highly recommended it!

Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. The patio, however, is a genuine reward, a shaded perch worth claiming on a slow afternoon. This is a cafe operating with real ambition and skill, let down only occasionally by its own popularity. Arrive early, claim a croissant while you still can, and settle onto the patio; you'll leave understanding exactly why regulars keep coming back.

The line moved quick, even though it wrapped around, we waited for about 20 minutes only. The menu has some cool items, a few fusion dishes and trendy items. Awesome presentation and definitely Instagram worthy. I got the huevos rancheros, it was more like an egg burrito with beans, sauce and potatoes on top. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. It was hard to flag him down for anything. It was not a nice experience. The menu does have some other cool items I do want to try (pancakes and french toast)... so maybe I will give it another shot if I am in the area one day.

Very friendly service (server was Crystal). Sat outside and still was attended to attentively - typically worried that patio seating gets less attention but that wasn't the case here. The menu excited me as brunch usually is a choice between sweet or savoury, but they have various options with both. Got the Indecisive with the eggs poached medium ( would recommend soft for future or sunny side up). The pistachio latte was yummy but with the matcha pancakes it became too sugary of a meal. Overall a casual yet put together vibe. Great for friends, dates, solo, or family. Washrooms not the cleanest, but the dining area was good. Did notice a few more birds than typical patios (tried to eat our scraps as we were waiting for the bill).

Food (3.5/5) - the menu is a combination of small and large plates ideal for sharing. A cosmopolitan menu of diverse items from many different cuisines. - Baja Caesar Salad - baby romaine, corn, caesar dressing, agave bacon, croutons, grana padano, chili spice. This was pretty good, romaine was fresh and sauce not too overpowering with a slight kick to it. - Coconut Shrimp with mango salsa, lime, chipotle aioli. Also pretty good... shrimp was cooked fine and the garnishes worked with it. - Tuna Ceviche with avocado, cilantro, corn, red onions, leche de tigre, cancha, plantain. This one was average. The sashimi chunks were pretty average and the overall mix seemed to lack flavour and moistness. - Hamachi Crudo with avocado, elderflower, pickled strawberry, jalapeño, pistachio, basil, olive oil. This was one pretty bad... some of the worst hamachi I have ever had! Overly fishy and off-colour. Service (4/5) - server and assistants were friendly and generally attentive. Some lapses in check ins from time to time. Rooftop is first come, first serve so a reservation does not mean you will be seated quickly and may have to hang out in the interior bar or tables until ready. Atmosphere (4.75/5) - you really cannot top the view from Kost. It has multiple look out areas besides the patio dining area by the infinity pool. They have a raised photo pedestal which is ideal to take pictures with the Tower, Rogers Centre and lake in the background. They also have some trendy couches and sitting areas as well. The interior dining area is also pretty good with window views outside and a California vibe to it. Overall (4/5) - Yes, the food is on the average side for the price. However, it really is a great atmosphere for dining, even if sitting inside. It is a bucket list destination at a minimum and worth a repeat imo.
