Nostalgia Coffee Company is such a cute cozy cafe. While driving around looking for coffee in the neighbourhood, I drove by Nostalgia and I would not even believe my eyes. An independent Coffee/Espresso Cafe in this area... It is definitely a rare find... Family owned and run with in house baked savoury pies and pastries. And of course espresso drinks! My Americano ($1.90) though a little light for my taste. I do love the set up of the space. A lot of nostalgic mix and match furniture and Free Wifi! Good neighbourhood cafe to come to meet up with friends or just chill a little. Meter parking at the front $1.50/hour

First rest time stopping my in. Great coffee had a latte. Only 2.95 wow! Cookie as a snack delicious. Quiet atmosphere. The person making the coffees was very happy and upbeat. Definitely will come back

The menu today.

We had coffee, muffins, hot chocolate and the Monte Cristo sandwich. The food was good and we did have to wait a little bit for the sandwich. The seating is limited inside, but is you want a nice quiet place with free wifi that isn't Tim Hortons... This is a great spot.

Definitely the best place in the neighborhood! It takes all my will power not to get the lunch special whatever it may be that day. Everyday

Really friendly gentleman working behind the counter and what a gorgeous place. I wish I could sit down, read and have a cup of their amazing coffee. We got a latte and a chai latte. Mmmm so good. The coffee was flavourful but not too acidic and the chai was so delightful. They had a ton of great looking treats to try as well. I highly suggest this place if you need a little pick me up. Even the music was great

I stopped by in a recent visit to Toronto when it made more sense to wait for my wife than to drive back and forth from our hotel in Mississauga amidst... hey did you know that (unscientific as this may be) traffic may actually be worst on weekends than during the week? Reason is that, while many folks commute using public transit, car owners drive to their destinations on weekends. This is a small, sun-shiny kind of space, with Wifi. The front part, especially, is a good place to bask in the rays. They seem to offer a few food choices for breakfast and lunch, but since I was just looking for a place to hang out for 90 minutes, I was going to be "minimal patron". I thought about another coffee, but decided against it, since I already had double the caffeine I usually consume before noon, I opted for the "cheapest" choice, in the form of a Perrier. Cha-ching and "ouch" and $3.74 later (OK it's CAD, but still), I'm left wondering whether I could have made a better choice: as in, a cookie and that bottle of water I had with me?

Another well reputed patisserie to try, excitedly arrived…read more Stylish storefront suddenly appears in the unimpressive industrial area. From outside, I saw full of patrons ordering their food and beverage. Our expectation went high! Bought: - Plain croissant - Plain Beignet with Sugar - Canelé - Lemon Meringue Tarte - Pear Almond Tart - Opera Croissant was good, nothing outstanding, nothing lacking. BUT! $3.25 for this quality is super reasonable, I should be feeling blessed! (I know other places charge us over $5 in spite of their mediocre quality.) Beignet is like a donut. Flurry, not too sweet, a tad dry. Canele was very disappointing. The outer had a nice bitter taste but not crunchy (it should be crunchy) rather, sticky soft... Interior had a large air pocket, which I feel is a structural defect. Lemon Meringue Tart - each part (meringue, lemon custard, tart base) was good, but integration was not. Tart base was too hard for the other super soft filling. Opera was surprisingly good. Although its looks did not have the precision that I expect for opera cake, it had very delicate layers. Almond cake base, smooth chocolate ganache, coffee butter cream, crispy top layer, and detectable rum kick. I liked it. Nice texture as well. I regretted not buying tart tartan - because many people seem to like it. Also sourdough - I think I should come back to try these :) !!!!

The cinnamon pecan Danish was absolutely perfect for breakfast, with just the right balance of sweetness and flavor. I'm already looking forward to returning to try even more items. I also picked up an éclair for later this evening and can't wait to enjoy it. Based on everything I've tried so far, I'm sure it will be just as delicious. This bakery has quickly become a place I plan to visit again and again.

This second location is located outside on the beautifully picturesque cobblestone road named Temperance Street. The building is historic and the calm interiors make you feel instantly at home. The staff was really nice and told me about their menu and seasonal items. In addition to coffee and matcha based beverages, the store offers food and merch as well. Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5

I did like the flavor of the regular hot matcha latte more, plus they made a very cute bunny latte art on it! Inside is small with minimal seatings but has a cool ambience for hanging out.
