My last review was in 2020 so it is time for an update. Quite often, my wife orders a Falt White (small) here using a Mos Mos gift card. You can get a little discount when using a gift card. They started selling vegan donuts from Bloomers starting many years ago on a separate cart. Now is it part of their regular display case. The staff is very efficient making the various drinks. We came here for a quick coffee in the morning. I'm not a coffee drinker normally so from the sip I had it was good. Though I was VERY tempted by their display of Bloomer's donuts. It's definitely one of my new favourite spots for coffee. I'm not a big coffee but still love to visit cafes to try out desserts and other drinks. Mos Mos is a popular spot in Downtown and took me a while to finally go try it out. There was a great amount of options, but I decided to go for the tiramisu latte. Tiramisu Latte: Was a really nice sweet latte that had the right amount of flavour. Especially since I'm not a big fan of the usual coffee bitter taste, it was a nice taste. Definitely feels like this would pair really well with a dessert, too. The cafe is a bit on the limited space side but still will be able to grab a seat depending on the time. The desserts look really delicious, too. I definitely would want to try the cookies next time. Overall, I had a great experience here and would come back again! read more

Helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of vegan options. Great spot for a quick treat. My favorite is the Kenyan Milk Tea Chai Latte ($6.20). The drink is reminiscence of Hong Kong milk tea. I've gone most of my life avoiding coffee, but somehow I've recently developed a taste for the stuff. I can't see myself ever becoming a person who looks forward to a cup of joe first thing in the morning, but I have become more and more comfortable taking little sips here and there. All this is to say that I recently stepped into Mos Mos and found myself surprised to be ordering a coffee for myself. They had a Pumpkin Spice Latte on offer and I just couldn't resist. Anyway, it was delicious. The coffee itself seemed very bold and flavorful, while the addition of the pumpkin spice effectively tempered that coffee taste without eliminating it completely. I wasn't expecting to finish the drink but I just couldn't help myself. The other cool thing about Mos Mos is their penchant for hosting popups for local businesses. On the day I was there, they were selling donuts from local a local vegan bakery called Bloomer's. I bought a pack of four different kinds and they were all phenomenal. I love mos mos, I love the coffee and I always have a good experience. However, I've been a somewhat frequent customer at this location for a while now and something I've noticed is there has been a lot of turnover with the staff, and the one worker named Justin seems to have a problem paying attention to other staff and more importantly customers. When asked for simple things like fork knife or sleeves (which is all behind the counter now,) he looks the other direction and waits for another staff member to take care of it. The other girls here are always super friendly and are quick to respond to customers needs and I really appreciate that! read more

I was excited for this place to finally open. A new coffee shop in the area, promising to serve uniquely blended caffeinated beverages from around the world. I thought I would like it...I thought I'd be a regular and loyal customer like at the cafe previous to this one. Well I was wrong. To put it simply, this place is a disappointment. Its blank white walls create an atmosphere that is unwelcoming and unappealing to the eye. The sticker system seems like a detriment to the environment. The coffee is way overpriced for the quality you get. The taste of their coffee can be compared to that of fast-food chains. Some of their latte combos seem interesting and appealing, but give you a mostly milky taste. And did I mention, they are over-priced. I really wanted to like this place, but I don't. read more

Was excited to try the new Mos Mos location that recently opened near Bay and Dundas. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by a friendly barista. I ordered a flat white and decided to try their taro cookie. Unfortunately, their coffee fell short of expectations as my drink tasted watered down and lacked coffee flavour. I was rather disappointed from this, as their Commerce Court location has some impressive coffee. As for the taro cookie, it was too dense and sweet. The cafe's decor is minimalistic and is a good environment for coffee chats and working. Free WiFi is also offered. Overall, I would rate my experience as mediocre..maybe it was my drink, but I found that I could get better coffee at Starbucks. Nonetheless, I would recommend giving Mos Mos a try if you're in the area. read more

Great coffee. Their motto is "Coffee may be common but should never be ordinary". This chain is pretty amazing I have been here 3 days in a row to have a large latte and a hamlette. Everything is fresh and they have an amazing deal on red Thai chicken curry which I have yet to try. So far I have had their maple matcha chai, and the vanilla chai. I had a small taro chai latte. Smelled and tasted exactly like a taro bubble tea. The small is not small, it's actually quite large. The drink was too sweet for my taste but you can get it half sweet, so that won't be an issue. Friendly service, and a million things I wanted to try. I came with two friends and we each ordered something different: almond milk latte, regular iced latte, and a flat white. All three drinks were medium sized and they tasted watered down. We could all only taste the milk and the coffee was underwhelming. We asked the baristas how many shots there were in a medium sized cup, just in case we ordered it wrong, but we were notified that it was two espresso shots. I've been a huge fan of the Mos Mos down in the Path by King station for years, so I was excited to see this cafe nearby! For anyone who's familiar with Mos Mos, they have a very unique way of taking your order and serving their coffee, which makes them super efficient with high quality coffee in your hand in much faster time than any other cafe, from my experience. Orders are taken through a sticker system where a barista helps you with your options and your cup is then passed down their assembly line where coffee is dispersed and eventually called out for your name with cocoa flower art on top of your frothed milk (if you ordered with milk). I had the Americano with their new Blonde Roast advertised as "sooooooo smooth" and "subtly sweet". I like the humour they put in their ads sometimes. Was greeted by the friendly barista who helped me put the sticker on and asked me how strong I wanted my Americano - as indicated by the water level on the sticker. I thought that was pretty clever as I've often felt that other cafes either give me too much water, or not enough. So naturally I opted for the middle :) Within a couple of seconds after paying, my drink was done and it was indeed soooo smooth! One of the best americanos I've ever had, with a perfect temperature that wouldn't scald my tongue and no harsh flavours at all. I haven't tried the speciality drinks nor the brewed coffee at this location yet, but if they're anything like the one at the Path I'm sure they'd be good. The tiramisu latte and iced Lao latte are my favourites that you can't get anywhere else. Cafe vibe was relaxed with minimalist decor and the radio playing random pop music quietly. Enough seating to bring in a laptop and work for a while, and enough background noise to have conversations with a friend. Now that I've found this gem, I plan to come by often! Tip: - If you like the frothed milk on lattes but don't want to pay the high price, opt for a brewed coffee with double milk because it's cheaper and they froth all their milk for you. read more

I was so happy to visit Mos Mos because I love their King location! Plus it's a better option aside from Stabs across the street... or so I thought. The interior was simple and a decent amount of seating for Toronto cafes. Well lit aside from a few spots, good for 1-2 people, groups would be difficult as you'll need to combine 2 seater tables. Single accessible washroom with no passcode/key necessary. It's kept up decently (7/10) considering the area it's in, else 6/10. There's a design disconnect from to the cafe and they haven't refilled paper towels within my duration (9:15am-12:25pm) Now to the reason why most people visit Mos Mos... COFFEE! I ordered a small latte and their hamlette on multigrain bagel. Latte was disappointing because it was lighter than their King location...It tasted watered down. The bagel was soggy, egg was good, won't be getting it again. Overall, I may come back to try their coffee but not the latte. read more

New café with great Wifi speed (173/43) and some power outlets. Decent amount of seating so it's a good place to work. They have a neat way to self serve your order where you pick up your cup and put the appropriate stickers (latte, espresso, etc) and hand it over to the staff. It seems like service should be faster here because of the system. They have a large choice for pastries. Staff is courteous but not personable. Decor is simple and modern. It is corporate /bland which takes away from the experience. There are no milk, cream, etc options at the counter for personal customization. All customization has to be done by the staff. I think it's a solid choice to grab a coffee and definitely recommend it to try it out. I prefer a more personable experience when getting a coffee and Toronto has a lot of great options. I might come back to give it another try but right now it's not a place I plan to regularly visit. read more

And they have amazing price with their quality and presentation. This place is particularly my favourite, because of its nice, simple, bright, and clean interior with many seatings and big windows that looks out at Bay St. Plus I can never pass by their cookies section. Mos Mos is a great coffee shop to visit if you are in the area. The space is super bright, clean and very minimalistic. The drinks selection is very large as you can customize and choose your drink. First they have you select your beverage size/type (iced or hot) and then you select a sticker to put on your cup. Each sticker is a different flavour of drink. I had the Vanilla Chai Latte (iced) and it was rich in flavour and was just what I was looking for. I definitely recommend this place for people who have work to get done (it's close by to Ryerson University for all the students out there) but also for people who just want to unwind, have a coffee or even just people watch.
