a restaurant kitchen with a lot of food on the counter

If you are okay to pay 7$ for a piece of toasted bread and avocado or 5$ for a cup of water downed lentil soup, this place can give you a take out, since there are literally 4 small tables only. To be fair, very nice staff, very nice interior design and variety of Salad boxes, plus rent is not cheap, but I am a student and I am hungry.

The beet salad is amazing. Winter menu though.

If I worked downtown regularly then I would eat at this place once a week. It's in the FCP food court. Today I had the $13 beet salad. This is one of the best meal salads I have ever had: delicious, highly nutritious and filling. It was worth every penny. I also purchased an interesting sounding sweet potato brownie for later. Ingredients did not appear to include obvious flours.

Chicken Lima. Looks great!

So healthy. Got the Lima Chicken. It was very flavourful and spicy - exactly what I wanted. There was corn, candy tomatoes, cheese, Sriracha, jalapeños, avocado, and a few other garnishes all on a bed of rice and some cheese to give it that extra flavour. It was so good. Also had a molasses cookie, which was so great. Service was great and atmosphere was awesome. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu! Food -5 Venue -5 Service -4 Vibe-5

I just love this place. The concept is perfect. It should be exported to other cities.

I love their salad. It's so good even without the dressing. Healthy and good but a lil pricey.

Sparta was delish but in my opinion, a little too small of a portion for a meal with limited protein. Needed more!

Harvest Clean Eats

I was venturing around Union Station for lunch and came across Harvest Clean eats!…read more First impression was that they had a lot of options on their menu that also accommodated various dietary restrictions - lots of vegan and vegetarian options were available. I was craving a warm bowl and their new Spicy Miso Salmon Bowl caught my eye. The price of the bowl was on the higher end (~$22 before tax/tip) but not surprised as we're in the downtown core. I will say .. the portions were very generous and all the ingredients were very fresh! I was pleasantly surprised and am satisfyingly full. They had a lot of different vegetable options mixed in and the rice was nice and warm, reflecting the freshness once again. There were a lot of other items on the menu that I was interested in so I would be keen to return, especially for their smoothies. The ladies at the cash were very quick and helpful when I had some questions about my order. I got my bowl pretty quickly (~11:30 am) but can imagine this place gets busy. Luckily they do let you order in advance so may take advantage of that next time.

Food 4/5 Service 5/5…read moreAmbiance 4/5 Harvest Clean Eats is located within the Union Station food court. This is one of the few healthy options at union station. I got the steak salad with some customization (no corn). Just a note for those who have allergies, the steak already has a sauce on it. I was okay with the sauce so I didn't ask for any modification there. I came before the lunch rush but this place was already relatively busy so I had to wait about 10-15 minutes for my food. Given everything downtown is pricey, I'd say Harvest Clean Eats is in line with downtown prices. It costs me under $20 for the salad. I think the quality of the food was good and I was satisfied but not bursting. Portions for the salad were reasonable for the price as well. The person taking the orders at cash was friendly & knew what they were doing. Everything went smoothly. Ambiance is food court ambiance. LOL. Harvest Clean Eats has a few small tables in their area but isn't big enough for a large crowd. So I preferred to order & bring my food back to the office. I would definitely order here again when I want something healthy.
