    Huevos Divorciados

A chill diner for breakfast and brunch! Loved the Mexican inspired items like the Huevos Divorciados and the Mexican Benedict. The Huevos was full of flavour and really appreciated the toasted baguette to dip into the salasa and eggs. The hollandaise sauce for the benny was creamy and different from any other I've tried - in a good way! Service was quick and friendly. It was nice that they come around for coffee refills!

Really delicious brunch spot with which, friendly service and a clear menu to pick from. Nothing overly complicated, but flavors are definitely elevated. Home fries here are so good! Gotta love a very well herbed roasted potatoes. Not a ton of seating so try to arrive early. They'll only seat you if you're party is all here, which I think is fair considering the need for quick turn around. 100% would recommend! Get waffles to share. You can't miss them. They're absolutely delicious

(Closer to a 3.5). Stopped by here on a Saturday at around noon and waited around 5 to 7 minutes for a table for two. I ended up getting the eggs benedict which comes with peameal on English muffin and a side of potatoes and salad for just under 18 dollars. I found it to be a bit costly but otherwise very delicious! The potatoes were a bit bland in my opinion though, so I added extra salt and ketchup. The service was fast and our waiter was super energetic and friendly. The shop was uniquely themed and I enjoyed looking around at the different posters and merch available. Overall a good brunch place but not super spectacular.

It's always difficult finding a decent breakfast spot in the Roncy area that opens early so we were happy to discover Easy Breakfast! When we arrived it was quite busy but easy for 2 of us to get a table. Someone came by right away to serve us water and coffee. We end up ordering the Mexican Rider and Huevos which were both good. Loved the bread that comes with breakfast and the potatoes were really good. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu as some of their other items look really good.

This place checks all my boxes and gets my seal of approval. I had Breakfast Burrito. Salad and home fries were on point, and the wrap had a generous amount of beans, eggs, and cheese, served with a scoop of guacamole. I could not get over how good the food and coffee tasted. The servers were prompt and efficient. The only issue I would bring up is that the tables were very close and there was little space. If I am in the area, I would love to come back to try their other offerings on the menu.

The food is so good. I usually hate eggs but I got the Mexican rider I think and it was amazing. Food is so filling. Was not too busy when I went which was good.

So delicious!! Came here with a couple girlfriends on labour day. Started with an almond milk latte which was fabulous. I love coffee! I got the West Coast Toast as did one of my girlfriends and it was delicious! I love a good Benny and it was definitely a good one. Service was good and staff was very friendly. There was a line up when we left, likely because they had to social distance between tables inside. Would definitely come back!

I loves me some breakfast! Who doesn't? Something about eating breakfast out at a restaurant always feels like a lot of fun. It's a good start to a day. I was really interested to try Parkdale's Easy Restaurant when I saw that blogTO had listed them as the #1 Best Huevos Rancheros in the city - one of my favourite breakfast dishes. Easy is a mainstay type of place. It has been around for 20 years and is one of those classic neighbourhood joints that everyone loves to meet up at. It's comfortable and reliable. They specialize in Tex-Mex inspired brunch options and use only high-quality ingredients. I was excited to visit on a recent Saturday morning. I've never seen the movie Easy Rider but that's exactly what this restaurant is themed after, right down to their logo and font. Basically, it's a tale of two bikers hitting the road to fuel their American dream, encompassing money, drugs, sex and violence. It was made in 1969. So imagine all of that with a side of breakfast and you can pretty much surmise the vibe at Easy Restaurant. The space is full of 60s memorabilia, movie posters, records, even a pile of old rotary phones. It's all very fun, laid-back, and campy in a great way. We were quickly seated at a table and while the room was busy, it wasn't jam-packed. The service was friendly enough with a bit of curtness that didn't bother me. The menu reflects the atmosphere of the restaurant well, offering tons of Tex-Mex options as far as the eye can see. They have have a pretty great kids menu section as well. I was also impressed at the beverage selection, which had me quite conflicted over what to order. A peanut power smoothie? Fresh squeezed orange juice? I happily settled on the Mexican Hot Chocolate (Made with arbol and ancho chilli - $4.95) because it seemed like a fitting match for the rest of my meal. It was spicy!! If you're not into spice this is not the drink for you. However, I am into spice and I really loved how bold and unapologetic this hot chocolate managed to be. The ho-cho itself was really creamy and chocolaty, with a pleasing whip on top. But it was the raging spice that made this drink unique. I loved the play between sweet and spicy and found it to really work. Keep stirring the drink as you go so that all of the spices don't settle to the bottom of the glass. As for food, I was there for one thing alone: the Huevos Divorciados (2 sunny eggs on a corn tortilla with green & red salsas, black beans. Served with guacamole, ancho jam and toasted baguette. Served with homefries and salad - $15.95). First, let's just clear up the difference between huevos racheros and huevos divorciados. They're the exact same dish, however the divorciados version involves two eggs served with a different sauce atop each egg - usually a salsa roja and a salsa verde. Which was exactly the case at Easy. The food arrived after a short wait and I was excited to dig into my plate of Mexy goodness. There are a lot of different flavours and textures involved in this dish and I think that's what draws me to it. The runny egg yolk mixes with the acidic salsa and the hearty beans, creating a perfect bite. I love the tortilla as a base that you almost forget about until just the right moment when you need something with just a bit more substance. I was very pleased with the large scoop of fresh and bright guacamole, a very welcome addition to each forkful. The most interesting item on the plate was the ancho jam, something that I've never seen before. It added a wonderful spicy, smoky, sweet element that worked really well. The homefries were fine but nothing exciting and the "salad" didn't seem to be dressed with anything at all and was essentially just a pile of dry leaves. I did however enjoy the long slabs of baguette, which served well as a vessel for scooping up every last drop on the plate. Overall this was a pretty solid example of huevos rancheros. Easy Restaurant is easy. It's comfortable and feels like the kind of spot that you might make a habit of visiting. It should be noted that they don't take credit cards as payment but cash and debit are accepted. I would certainly return to try some of the other things on the menu, as there are a bunch of other offerings that sound pretty inciting.

I had an early lunch today at Easy Restaurant. Easy is know for their breakfast and I was torn between having breakfast or lunch ... and went with lunch. I ordered the grass fed burger (but without the cheese, onions or peppers). There were no condiments for the burger so I used what I'm assuming was chipotle mayo on it. It was a good burger. The fries were good too. Jason was the server and he was friendly and pleasant.

Easy Restaurant is a pretty chill spot with generally good service and good (Mexican-inspired) diner food. The prices are on the high side for a diner style brunch, but the food is pretty good. I think their beef bacon is probably amongst the best I've had anywhere. ANYWHERE. Decor is inspired by old films. I probably wouldn't be a regular if I lived in the neighbourhood, but I doubt I'd ever say no if someone suggested going there.

The huevos divorciados and Mexican benedict at Easy Restaurant near Dundas West station is worth the mission! This fusion meal was a delightful blend of textures, spices and unexpected brunch flavours! The home fries had a seasoning to die for!! The restaurant has a very warm and cozy vibe to it and looks very aesthetic. Easily a top 10 brunch spot in Toronto.

Huevos Divorciados at Easy. Filling , lots of salsa, a bit overwhelming

Came here for breakfast in Sunday. Lots of seats as just opened up. A bit cold inside due to the fans running. Prompt service as it wasn't that busy yet I ordered the Huevos, which are 2 eggs over tortilla and salsa side of potatoes and avocado. Overall good flavour a bit too much salsa for me. Filling which it should be for the price My husband had the Mexican Rider which he enjoyed including grilled jalapeños. Coffee was good and they kept filling it Overall was a good experience and the dishes were both pretty good. I would go back to try some of their other items

    Breakfast quesadilla
    Gwen N.

Why are so many restaurants in Parkdale closed for the summer? Our intention was to go to Mata but then found out it was closed (neither my friend nor I had the forethought to check their website and only checked yelp). So, with nowhere to go we looked up brunch spots in the area and Easy came up. Walking in, we were delighted to see the retro décor and the diner like seating. Luckily there were a few tables available despite being prime brunch time and the place being nearly full. We both got the bottomless coffee and ordered the breakfast quesadilla and burger to share. You can get both home-fries and salad on the side! Hooray! It's also notable that you can get either milk or almond milk with your coffee, free of charge! What a great place! The breakfast quesadilla was delicious! We were able to get it with both chorizo and mushrooms/caramelized onions (even though the menu said chorizo OR mushrooms etc.) along with a salad (mixed greens) and home fries on the side. The burger was a lot smaller than I was expecting and tasted okay. The fries were crispy and excellent. Portion sizes were just right for our hungry bellies. There's a small downsloping ramp leading to the washrooms. I nearly tripped on this as I wasn't anticipating the sudden drop (I'm also very clumsy). There might have been a sign but I didn't see one. Just a head's up! Parking is easily found either on the street or at the green p lot just down the street (it's small, only 33 spots). They only accept cash and debit!

A quick Yelp check pointed me to this spot a brisk eight-minute walk from Queen Station on Yonge, and I'm so glad I made the detour instead of heading to one of my usual haunts. I was seated immediately. The place has lots of seating -- high tops, tables and booths -- and a cool, eclectic vibe: comfy chairs, interesting wall photos, eggshell light fixtures and cheerful yolk‑yellow and orange tones. Big glass windows make it a fun people‑watching spot, and the open kitchen lets you see the cooks hustling away. I ordered the classic breakfast (just over $18): two scrambled eggs -- soft and perfect -- plus herb potatoes fried in beef tallow (I swapped those for lightly dressed artisan greens). You choose your protein -- bacon, Canadian bacon, rosemary ham, chicken, or pork bangers -- and I went with the hardwood‑smoked bacon: three perfectly cooked slices. Coffee was ethically sourced, and my mochaccino hit the sweet spot -- not too sugary. All in all 10 out of 10. I plan to try their gluten free waffle next time. Extras worth noting: they offer booze, smoothies, juices, and a $4.75 "coffee bump" (1 oz of Irish cream, Kahlúa, whiskey, bourbon, brandy, or Grand Marnier). Eggs are free‑run. Service was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable -- got me in and out without feeling rushed, back at my desk before 1 pm. I'll definitely be back -- next time with friends so I have an excuse to order everything on the menu. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a well‑made, comforting breakfast-anytime (and possibly a legal excuse for a midday coffee bump).
