You can't really go wrong with bubble tea, and Real Fruit Bubble Tea has some great options. They have fruit teas, fruit slushes, smoothies, fruit juice, ice crush, sherbet, milk tea, and green tea to choose from. I got a passionfruit green tea with lychee fruit jellies and it was perfect. Sometimes bubble tea is too sweet for me but this had a good level of sugar without being overly-cloying. They didn't have popping boba, which I usually prefer, but the fruit jellies were still good. Service was prompt and friendly and the tea was great and affordable! I'd definitely return to this place to try more teas the next time I'm in Toronto. read more

This Real Fruit shop is probably not my favorite. The inside of the shop feels really cramped. :( The aisle is narrow with tables on one side and the cashier on the other. There's barely enough space for one person to go through in between the tables and cashier. We ordered the Original black tea milk tea and the Mango smoothie. My go-to's are definitely the mango diamond slush and the watermelon slush - both are super refreshing and perfect for the summer. The watermelon slush usually tastes very fresh and sweet. The mango diamond slush is usually good 90% of the time - sometimes the mangos used on the day aren't that sweet and can be a little sour as they may not be that ripe - either way, I think the drink is still very refreshing. read more

There is room in the back where I saw a group of girls sitting an enjoying their BBT. We took ours to go but it's nice enough to sit around and chat. I had the medium fresh fruit mango with lychee pieces ($3.69 + $1 upgrade for a medium I believe). Great price and super fresh. Gobbled it all up while we walked around. My friend had one of the black tea's. Forget what flavour she picked but it was a small ($2.10). Anyways, it hit the spot for us. Basically, the guy working there was reaching to tech specialist all 40 min; nothing happened. I was told to write email to customer support. I got no reply, not even acknowledgement of receipt. The week went by, still no reply. I went to the store again. Same story. 40 min. No reply. Finally, on 17th I got email that it is issue was resolved. I come here for the "slushes", which is just fruit, ice and probably some kind of sweetener (sugar or syrup), and it's always, always amazing. When they're busy, I don't mind waiting 15 minutes for my drink. Because it's that good. The woman who's usually there when I go is super nice, and they have these "buy 7 get the 8th one free" cards which rock because they don't cost anything and never expire. After years of powdered boba, I am in love with this place. The difference REAL fruits makes is unbelievable. They have two fridges full of frozen fruits. They promote the diamond mango slush and I like that there's actual mango pieces in the drink. I can see why it's a crowd pleaser. They even offer durian which I've tried before. They use frozen durian and the taste (and smell) is strong! I've tried a bunch of different flavours but my go to is the avocado smoothie. I like how this location makes it. They don't add any extra sugar unlike other locations I've been to. It can take a while for the drinks if it's busy as usually only one person is working. It may not give you options for what you can do with what they offer but I've been able to create my own juice/smoothies mixing fresh fruit items off the menu or even one of the traditional milk tea flavors with some fresh fruit and tapioca. There usually isn't a surcharge for using more than one fruit in a slush etc and they're cool about making it less sweet (recommended, because they add a ton of simple syrup) *The regular milk tea flavors on the first menu are powders and are very sweet and artificial so just keep in mind it's not particularly healthy and it's packed full of sugar I prefer lighter flavors like honeydew with watermelon fresh slush/smoothie. read more

The original bubble tea here is quite average and tastes like the same quality as Teashop 168 with the same promotion price of 1.99. Definitely not chaitime quality bubble tea. However,if you are looking for a quick refreshment after sushi or Korean food and you're not feeling up for coffee then this place is the closest bubble tea shop for awhile. In terms of seating there is a backroom with some chairs and tables but it seems that it's a grab and go kind of place.
