Came here on a weekday night. Tried their mango grapefruit boom and their supreme brown sugar bobo milk tea. The mango grapefruit boom was okay - feel like the drink proportions were off and the drink was oddly not cold enough LOL. They ran out of brown sugar pearls (still charged us for the whole $9.99 -.-) - but their milk tea isn't even good. Definitely skip on their milk drinks! Took about 10 minutes for our drinks, they do have some seating, and ok service! I enjoy their Scarborough location more!

HEYTEA is absolutely worth the hype. Their drinks are delicious and super fresh; it's especially perfect now that the weather is warming up. They also have sugar-free sweetener (free upgrade) if you don't want cane sugar in your drink. Drinking HEYTEA doesn't make me feel as guilty when I'm drinking bubble tea. I'm absolutely coming back for more. The line for ordering wasn't too bad, although it took a while for our drinks to be made.

    Jasmine Matcha Foam, Matcha Supreme

Tried a couple of drinks from Hey Tea, and while they were pleasant overall, the matcha itself felt more like a supporting act than the star of the show. First was the Matcha Supreme. The flavor leaned more on the grassy side but lacked the depth or fragrance I usually look for in a strong matcha. The color was a medium-light green, which hinted at an almost good balance between milk and matcha. I ordered mine with 50% sugar and less ice, which made it smoother, and the topping gave it a nice, refreshing edge. Still, the matcha strength wasn't quite there for me. Then came the Jasmine Matcha Foam. This one leaned heavily into its tea profile--refreshing and aromatic--with just a subtle touch of matcha in the background. Honestly, I enjoyed this drink more simply because of how crisp and refreshing the jasmine flavor was, even though the matcha was once again underwhelming. Overall, Hey Tea makes light, refreshing drinks, but if you're coming for a bold matcha punch, you might find it a bit too gentle.

This is a very popular and talked-about bubble tea place. Was it overly hyped? Sort of. It's definitely good bubble tea but the prices are steep and the lines are loooong. It feels a bit higher end due to the atmosphere and cup/lid quality. The atmosphere looks cool and modern but there's minimal seating so you can't stay long without feeling 'crowded out'. We ordered: brown sugar bubble tea jasmine matcha tea The brown sugar one was similar to other bubble tea places but it was still good. The jasmine matcha was a bit more unique and quite a good combination together. Overall a very tasty drink

One of the better bubble tea spots. Actually uses the real tea to brew the concoction - no powder. We visited during summer and the cafe did not have AC on - blazing hot and not inviting to stay in. Ability to order online/ahead of time or in person at counter.

Let me see the hype! waited in like for 40 minutes with my friends but it felt very fast because we were talking the whole time. But 40 mins for some bubble tea is crazy. The store is not big very small, a few seats at the front and on the side of the store but The line is also blocking seats so no one can sit there. maybe when the line dies down people can sit by there. I got the mango grapefruit boom. It was like a slush, reason it was good and i can actually taste the fruit in it but would I line up this long again? no. but would get again. 7/10 there's no restroom as well fyi! Heytea doesn't use artificial fruit or syrups sugar so that's cool.

I went here with my family last week in Toronto during our trip to Canada. I ordered the Supreme Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. It tasted good and the price was decent as well! The staff were nice and the ambiance of the cafe was chill. We were able to find a table to sit and enjoy our tea

Had the crisp grape with cheese foam which is their most popular flavour. It had a strong sweet grape flavour, but I was still able to taste the jasmine tea. 50% sugar and less ice (their minimum amounts). Their seasonal green grape is maybe even better, tasted more nuanced and layered. There is no longer a line outside so I'm glad to have had the chance to try it out. Some seating inside that is pretty packed as this seems to be a popular spot. The price per drink after tax is $11.20 which is pretty steep, but the drinks are certainly unique and enjoyable.

This is a new bubble tea place on Yonge, near College St. It recently opened on Feb 2025. This is a popular chain in China, and one of the first stores in Canada. The bubble tea is good. The mango grapefruit boom is quite well balanced, although on the sweeter side (I recommend no or light sugar). The grape drink is one of their signatures, and this is less sweet and more refreshing. The drinks ,packaging, and straw (not flimsy paper straws) are good quality. Be prepared for long lineups (1hr +) at least during the first couple of weeks. Furthermore, they advertised on social media that from Feb 14 - Feb 21 you could get a free tote bag if you buy 2 drinks. This only applies to the first 50 customers per day, however, so chances of getting this are slim! There was also similar misleading advertising with the fridge magnets (only limited to 200). My other thought is that the lineup system and store layout makes little sense. For one, the cashier area is off to the side, but the drink pickup area is right in the middle of where the queue is supposed to be. If there is ever a queue of 4 or more people, this setup quickly becomes disorganized. Surely, they must have anticipated some sort of lineup? One final thing I found a bit humorous is that worker will most likely say your order number in Mandarin, although after a few times, will revert back to English. Overall great drinks, but subtracting points for disorganized store layout / system, misleading advertising, and above average prices.

Was told that this is THE new bubble tea spot in Toronto (which is saying a lot given the current bubble tea epidemic) and I can confirm, it was both tasty and texturally delightful! If I am ever again vulnerable enough to be convinced to spend $10 on bubble tea, this is the place I'd do it!

Insane lineups on opening day. Higher prices boba around $10 each. Grape drink is pretty unique with a good tea balanced flavor. Mango coconut sago tastes like a normal dessert. Clean and bright, but lights are too blinding white

When I was in Asia, I saw a lot of social media hype about this heytea location so I just had to check it out. In China heytea is one of the franchises that I would typically go grab bubble tea so I was curious to see if it's the same quality and taste in Canada. I gotta say the flavours match they have their cloud Cheese foam done correctly. The cups are the same and this location has really nice ambience. The service was a tad slower than what I'm used to, but it's not that bad. I think I waited only like four minutes. Pricing wise obviously we live in Canada so the price is a bit higher paid 8.99 for the cloud coconut, which is the seasonal offering. It had a Matcha cheese foam that tasted like melted green tea ice cream absolutely delicious paired coconut. And an ingredient that made it blue. I think its called spirulina. but my absolute favourite must be the cloud grape drink, or the second favourite would be the mango grapefruit. Those are in my opinion the Classics to try for this franchise.

Chinese bubble chain new to Canada. It opened about a month ago and there is still a 25min line up at the best of times. With the app you avoid lining up but you still have to wait 15-20min for your order to be prepared. When I used it, my number was never called but after 20min I went to ask and it had been sitting on the counter for a bit. I like that this place has a bunch of lactose free options and calorie wise options as well and it's well labelled on their app. I would recommend the Mango Grapefruit Coconut Boom. There is plenty of seating inside but when it gets busy it might be best to do takeout. They package the drinks very well for you. After trying their drinks 3 times now I have to say it's worth the line up and wait!

I was venturing around Union Station for lunch and came across Harvest Clean eats!…read more First impression was that they had a lot of options on their menu that also accommodated various dietary restrictions - lots of vegan and vegetarian options were available. I was craving a warm bowl and their new Spicy Miso Salmon Bowl caught my eye. The price of the bowl was on the higher end (~$22 before tax/tip) but not surprised as we're in the downtown core. I will say .. the portions were very generous and all the ingredients were very fresh! I was pleasantly surprised and am satisfyingly full. They had a lot of different vegetable options mixed in and the rice was nice and warm, reflecting the freshness once again. There were a lot of other items on the menu that I was interested in so I would be keen to return, especially for their smoothies. The ladies at the cash were very quick and helpful when I had some questions about my order. I got my bowl pretty quickly (~11:30 am) but can imagine this place gets busy. Luckily they do let you order in advance so may take advantage of that next time.

Food 4/5 Service 5/5…read moreAmbiance 4/5 Harvest Clean Eats is located within the Union Station food court. This is one of the few healthy options at union station. I got the steak salad with some customization (no corn). Just a note for those who have allergies, the steak already has a sauce on it. I was okay with the sauce so I didn't ask for any modification there. I came before the lunch rush but this place was already relatively busy so I had to wait about 10-15 minutes for my food. Given everything downtown is pricey, I'd say Harvest Clean Eats is in line with downtown prices. It costs me under $20 for the salad. I think the quality of the food was good and I was satisfied but not bursting. Portions for the salad were reasonable for the price as well. The person taking the orders at cash was friendly & knew what they were doing. Everything went smoothly. Ambiance is food court ambiance. LOL. Harvest Clean Eats has a few small tables in their area but isn't big enough for a large crowd. So I preferred to order & bring my food back to the office. I would definitely order here again when I want something healthy.
