Heytea is amazing as always but because they do make their drinks with love, it takes time. I got a matcha 0 which is their shave ice with coconut jelly at the bottom and it was super delicious and perfect treat on a hot day. There was a slight wait which was fine but the staff finished making my item and instead of adding the toppings and letting me have my item, they ended up helping another customer chase down another order that was not yet ready. I understand that helping customers is important but I think their prioritising skills can be improved as my food item literally is a melting time bomb. The waiting and seating area is a bit chaotic and narrow so lots of excuse me to get through but otherwise there is quite a bit of seating available. read more

We were debating after dinner treat between dessert or bbt and found an option for both here. Everyone was getting drinks but we spied an ice shaving machine on the back counter and opted for the milk tea flavor. It was creamy, refreshing and the tea flavor really stood out. This is the fourth and newest location of this very popular tea shop brand. They sell high-quality, fancy teas; implying expensive and long lineups. This location is located in the middle of the iconic Tironto Eaton Centre. They opened on 2026-02-16, with different promotions days 1 to 18, like BOGO on days 1-3. See my photos for details. They have their regular series of teas: matcha, teamix, superfood, and boba milk. Then they have fine-dining inspired teaming series: Rock Oolong, Single Gongfu Black Tea, Leshan Gazdenia, and Hand-Whisked Jingshan Matcha. Despite being in such a busy location within Eaton Centre, this Heytea exceeded expectations! There was a long line outside the shop and so I decided to order via their mobile app. It was a short wait till my drink was ready. When I entered, the staff welcomed me and helped me immediately with my pickup order. There was also seating available at the back of the shop. The matcha was high quality and the matcha mochi was chewy and tasted fresh! It made the perfect pick-me-up treat after a hard day. read more

Went to visit on the last day of BOGO deal and managed to order online to avoid the long lines. I've been walking by the new location at Eatons a lot and was glad to see it finally opened. The space is nicely lit with a clean and modern vibe. It was packed so I didn't get a chance to take nice shots of the interior. Service was really fast and staff were friendly. I love their grapefruit mango boom and got to try their crisp grape boom. The grape one is refreshing and perfect for a hot Toronto summer, but my fav is still the grapefruit mango with all the sago inside and just the perfect amount of sweetness. Caviar & tea?! You got it. I checked out HeyTea during their BOGO week (plus a free Toronto magnet for the first 900 people daily -- yes, the line was real!). Even with the lineup, the experience felt organized and the staff kept things moving. It honestly added to the excitement. Their current signature drink is the Rock Oolong Caviar -- oolong tea, milk, yuzu cloud, caviar, and a cracker. It's definitely on the elevated side and such a unique concept. Tea meets luxury snack vibes. I was personally recommended the Coconut Mango and it did not disappoint. Creamy, decadent coconut milk blended with mango over ice, plus mango and coconut jelly -- basically dessert in a cup. Super refreshing but rich at the same time. I also picked up the Kale drink (saving that one for later), and grabbed one of their $50 black gift cards featuring the gold CN Tower design. It's sleek and makes for a cool keepsake. Love the ambience at HeyTea Lab at Eaton Centre! Really cool aesthetic and nice decor. They also have some special drinks like the Rock Oolong series + ice cream and shave ice. Service was pretty prompt..although they did have some ingredient shortages, so some drinks were not available. Drinks are certainly pricey. It is a nice experience and I'd come back. read more

I went mid day. Figured it wouldn't be that busy. And it wasn't. It took 40 minutes to get my order. And I had to go up and ask if it was ready. They forgot to make it. Myself and another customer waited for 40 minutes for our drinks. Not the best experience. Was it worth it? I wouldn't say it was. There wasn't a tremendous long line up. Had high hopes for gongfu 3.3, which looked pretty aesthetically. But at almost $10 for the drink, it tasted good, and not amazing. Their caviar ice cream was also cute. Again, it tasted good but it's not a flavour that I'm obsessed with. Overall, high price points with long wait times (almost 50 mins on a Friday evening at 5PM). This is the first Heytea lab in Canada and the 2nd in North America. Where they do experimental drinks. Honestly there was a lot of hype and lineup for it. And we orederd 3 drinks from their experiments menu and 1 on the regular. Overall the cream on the drinks was okay. Although I enjoyed the yuzu one the best. And the oolong tea was decent. However the price was not very justified considering it was over $10 for each drink pre tax and it just isn't worth that amount it is pricier than most other bbt store drinks. And not really a standout I would say if you want to try it sure. But not worth to wait the long lines and pay that price for it. Another thing that is really hurting the experience is that they are famous for the experimental drinks but dont even have a big board to show it. This is a new HeyTea location in Eaton Center. This one is definitely more spacious and handled the opening better than the HeyTea near Yonge and College. You can order via the app (although the app doesn't update the status correctly). There are some promos/coupons during opening week. I would recommend 0% sugar as the drinks are already quite sweet. read more
