My favorite drink is the premium jasmine oat, this one comes with a slice of orange in the drink which makes it super refreshing that the regular premium jasmine drink doesn't have. Molly Tea is known for a unique, proprietary "three-mini-straws-in-one" design, often used for their floral milk teas. This specialized straw encourages slow sipping, designed to enhance the aroma and flavor experience. I also found that uniquely, they're not a boba shop. Their drinks don't come with tapioca/boba. Newly opened in theT&T/ subway eatery of Fairview mall The lineup may look intimidating but moves quickly with orders. There is no sitting inside and quite busy and congested. One issue we encountered was during the ordering, the CSR mentioned when you buy 2 drinks you are eligible for another drink for x. We took advantage of this offer. We went for a walk in the mall as with all tea shops the bottle neck is in the preparation time. 15 minutes later, we came back and saw only 2 cups ready and no promotional cup. When we inquired the staff with our receipt, they escalated to the manager on duty and gave a nice story of they do not have this type of promo. They can only give us a promotional key chain for our incident and said enjoy the free key chain. I am sorry, we paid an upcharge for the drink and ended up with a keychain? I am sorry that is not acceptable and walked off with the receipt. Of the 2 drinks, one was prepared wrong and not even remotely close. One of the servers took another drink prepared and provided to us and said sorry, this is the proper drink. The drinks were nothing special, the snow dragon was very light in flavour and the dragon was just whip cream ontop with a sprinkle of roasted walnuts. Commerce Gate has a few new options since my last visit! Would've came here if it was around last August but glad I saw it this trip. Ordered their jasmine milk tea drink and it's honestly one of the best ones I've had. There's more emphasis on the tea flavor. I ordered zero sugar and no ice. Drink was around 8-9 CAD (seems like drink prices have been going up in Canada too). Store is fairly small. Service was quick. Staff spoke mando and English. Overall good experience. read more

I read great reviews on Molly Tea so we decided to try it while we were in the area. They were busy considering we got there in the middle of the day and in the middle of the week so our orders took quite some time. They also had some orders online to prepare which affected service time. The place was quite small and didn't have a lot of seatings so most customers had to stand and wait for their drinks. We ordered the Gardenia Oolong Milk Tea (3/5) and the Premium Jasmine Oat Milk Tea (3/5). We were hoping for a strong earthy, floral and herbal flavour from both drinks. Unfortunately, both were quite mild and those flavours were not as prominent as we'd like them to be. I don't take sugar in my teas and my partner does, and we both agreed on this. We did enjoy their crystal balls which were so bouncy and chewy. I'm not exactly sure if I'd come visit again. But maybe if I'm with a friend who wants to go and get a drink from this place, I wouldn't say no. read more

This is their first location. They focus of floral flavours. They opened on 2024-11-23. I went there on their opening date. We went back on 2025-04-21. By this time, they have opened a second location in Markham. We ordered the following (all with 50% sugar and less ice): 1. Snowy Gardenia ($8.45). 2. White Champaca Oat Milk Tea ($8.75). 3. Osmanthus Green Milk Tea ($7.45). 4. Peach Oolong Milk Tea ($7.45). I chose Gardenia because I've never had that flavour before. It has a sweetness taste. I like it. They put whipped cream and pecan bits. I also ordered White Champaca because I've never had that flavour before. It has a stronger and less sweet taste. It was quite reasonable. Definitely floral! I have had and liked Osmanthus and Oolong before. Their version didn't disappoint. They have two kinds of straws. One is very thin with 3 small channels. It is biodegradable. They also have a bigger round straw which is also biodegradable. They charge $0.25 for a bag. There is no free WiFi. The place is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. 2nd time going to the downtown location once for their soft opening and this time I can say each time Molly Tea is consistent with their drinks and service. I feel this location is less busy than the richmond hill one so phew. Only takeout, wish they had a bigger store because they have way too many people in the store sometimes. My all time favourite has to be white champaca oolong milk tea, it's strong with a floral taste. They're known for their green tea and home made whip cream I highly recommend if you're a fan of both of those but it wasn't my favourite! Beyond my expectations for milk tea! The spot was crisp and minimalistic. Packed with lots of customers going in and out. Very neat and chill vibes. The service was excellent and quick. This Molly Tea location wasn't hard to find at all. I actually walked there while it was snowing in Toronto! I was a little bummed that they didn't have indoor seating--I was hoping to wait out the snow before heading back to my hotel, but that didn't quite work out.
