Smell the tea, explore the options. Sit, relax and enjoy. Lots of employees all wanting you to choose the right thing for them to make for you. Often busy without seats available. When there are, it's perfect.

I made my own custom drink. I thought the smell of the green tea was the best so, I used that tea as the base and added cream (which the bobarista recommended) and I added bubbles. Perfect sugar is not too sweet but, I wish the overall drink was sweeter! It was a little bland for my taste but I thought the warm boba was nice in flavor and texture.

Decent black tea boba. Staff was very patient with giving me a chance to smell and explain each thing on the menu.

Decent tea but very expensive for some reason! Inspired me to make my own osmanthus tea.

Welcomed by the aroma of freshly brewed tea, I was impressed by the variety of tea bases (six in total) to choose from. I tried their Queen Taro and the Farmosa fruit tea (Black tea, pineapple, passion fruit, apple and lemon), and both drinks had a strong black tea profile that paired well with the toppings that come with. I especially loved the chewiness of the taro bubbles, which are freshly made in-house every day. The staff were very nice and the drinks came out fast. I would definitely come back again. The interior is bright, clean, and a very relaxing spot to hang out.

Came across this place while going for a walk. Formosa Fruit Tea was the best thing to get. It's refreshing. Service was great. This was actually a recommendation by the staff. Ambiance felt great. The place was clean too

The tea base was good but I wasn't wowed by the drink. I got their bubble milk tea at their recommended levels for sugar and ice. Was nice and not too sweet but I would probably try something else if I went again.

This bubble tea spot has a nice vibe and a fresh area for hanging out. It's a great place to enjoy some tea with friends. The staff were patient while I smelled the tea samples before ordering. I've had ChiCha San Chen in Hong Kong, so I was excited to try it in Toronto. My friend and I got the Oolong tea with cream and a taro ball, & passionfruit with green tea and bubbles. The Oolong tea smelled great, but not great when mixed with the cream, I couldn't really taste the tea. The taro ball was chewy and delicious though. The passionfruit with green tea was good, fresh and fruity. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I'd come back to try the other combinations!

Probably one of my favourite bubble tea places at the moment. My go-to is definitely the taro queen! The flavour of the taro pairs so well with the tea they use. I'm usually not a fan of taro actually, but they do it so well here. What I love about all the drinks here is that they are all very tea forward.. as opposed to some other places which are very milk forward. The process they use to make the drinks is also very unique.. I believe it's a patented process and it's similar to how espresso shots are pulled for coffee. Their machine is pretty cool!

Came here as we were in the neighbourhood. Had to try it because it has gained so many awards previously. The way that they brew the tea is really interesting, similar to how you would brew espresso. The tea itself didn't taste dark or bitter, it is a smooth and highly fragrant scent. The bubble tea itself tastes really different, and the tapioca doesn't taste hard at all. The drink got made really fast and they were quick with everything. The only down fall is that you are paying about $9 for a regular size drink.

My friends recommended this boba spot and I had to try it. The place is small but very cute and it has decent outdoor seating. It was a little chilly the night I went so we didn't bother staying for too long. I had the Taro King and it was really nice. The taro wasn't too heavy and the boba was very soft and chewy. I can't wait to go back to Toronto and try more of their flavors in the future.

Of course, dessert was a must after the meal, so I stopped by this shop that seems to have plenty of rave reviews. Their tea is brewed under pressure, similar to how espresso is pulled, resulting in an aroma and taste that lean on the subtle and bright side. They proudly claim to have won awards for their teas, but to be honest, I was not entirely convinced. While the overall quality was good, I did not find it to be on a level that truly stood out or felt worthy of the hype. I have had better elsewhere. The mousse foam I added brought a light creaminess to each sip, but once again, everything leaned toward subtle and delicate flavors. Since I usually prefer something with a bit more of a kick, this might not be my go-to spot. That said, I would still keep it as an option for when I am in the mood for something lighter. :)

Neat ordering system instead of yelling out the order number, the number is displayed in a visible location. Every drink was made to order (including the tea brewing) so there is definitely a wait. I have gotten the classic bubble milk tea and taro queen. Both were good, I thought the tea flavour was there but not super strong. For sure on the pricey side, so I would get again when in the area and really wanting to try another flavour. Service was standard and there isn't that much seating inside, mostly on the perimeter of the area where they make the drinks.

I completely understand that, with one person working, things get overwhelming easily. When we arrived we just wanted to grab our mobile order, but there was zero eye contact, zero acknowledgement. Because of the time it took to collect our order, which was sitting out, the ice had melted a lot and watered down the flavor. This is not the fault of the overworked staff member. The responsibility falls on the company to not understaff on a summer weekend!

We came back on 2024-12-31 because we received a gift card. We ordered a Chocolate Hazel Delight (large $6.50). We added pearls for +$0.70. It tasted as expected. The customer service was good because there was no one else in the shop. There were 5 small tables and a long counter for standing beside. One table had lots of crumbs on it. The shop was reasonably modern and clean. There is easy-listening music playing in the background. They also sell cakes and cookies (new item) from Bakecode, their sister company. There is free WiFi. The shop is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, but it is not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Contrary to the weather outside. The young worker behind the counter greeted me with a smile, in spite of their preoccupation in making drinks. I asked her questions to help me narrow down my choice. I settled on a creamy mango with boba. With less ice and less sweetness. It was refreshing and satisfying, next time I will ask for 80% sugar because going down to 50% was too much of a drop. The place is pretty modern inside with an exposed brick interface, it kind of gave me the impression of being on a street in Taiwan. Outside they have this cute street post sign on the side of their building. All in all, service 10 outta 10, ambiance 10 outta 10 (although when I went the only other customer had left, so knowing how loud it gets, I was not able to decipher and that may impact this rating.) And drink... ah 7 outta 10. This is because it came out to be expensive for the size . Will try again.
