The go to Thai ice tea that originated from Thailand. The flavors here are pretty similar. Original Thai milk tea at 30% is already pretty sweet. Flavors are close to Thailand. The soft serve Thai ice tea is very good and better than the tea itself. Glad to see this place open in Toronto. Staff is friendly there is more seating in the back but otherwise it's a bubble tea style conceptm
The Thai tea is so yummy! Even though they were busy, they still gave the drink in timely manner. They have other drinks and soft serve available too. And a mini shop where you can purchase stuff
Place is very clean, and smelled nice with the teas - had a variety of teas and such you can buy to take home to brew as well. Service was very nice, guy was very friendly, and was saying how the drink I ordered wasn't one of the most popular, however was his personal favourite haha. I tried the Coffee- brown sugar konjac - and boy was the coffee good, the smell was so pleasant and the kick itself was so good. But damn I ordered this late afternoon, and I was wired late into the night ! I probably need to try the local one here in Vancouver to see if we measure up. Will for sure visit again when I'm visiting Toronto -
Don't order Thai ice tea at dinner so you can try this after as dessert. I got the jasmine milk tea and it reminds me of Molly tea but cheaper. My family also tried the regular and green milk tea. The Thai green tea had floral notes which was a first for me. Many items to buy in store from tea to merchandise. The interior was bright and clean with ample seating. They also have self kiosk to order.
What a delightful shop, very airy and has a lovely ambience. Classy décor. When we arrived, a staff member was sweeping up broken glass. The shop was broken into last night. Small businesses run by hardworking people do not deserve this. Products: the (iced) Thai coffee is a MUST ORDER. I have never had Thai coffee before and it was strong but SMOOTH, not bitter in the least. Absolutely delicious, I wanted the drink to go on forever! I went with the lowest sugar available which was 30%. I've posted their menu items. HIGHLY recommend this wonderful Thai coffee/tea shop. Great ambience. Lovely owners.
The OG of Thai iced tea, ChaTraMue, has officially arrived in Toronto. Overall, the tea itself is excellent--rich, aromatic, and very well balanced. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the portion is generous enough to share with a friend, which helps justify the cost. The shop is spotless, and the service is outstanding. You can really feel the warm, welcoming spirit of sawasdee krap the moment you walk in. The only downside was that they were out of pandan tapioca when I visited--definitely a letdown--but it just gives me an excuse to come back and try it next time.

The place is small, so I would recommend stopping by for takeout as seating spaces are limited. Prices are similar to those of bubble tea and they have a variety of options. I opted out for a classic flavour of course and it was delicious! You can also customize sweetness level but they don't have "no ice options" as they brew the tea fresh for you! Service was friendly and quick! Overall, I recommend stopping by for some tea :)

I was so happy when I found out that this thai milk tea brand from Thailand was opening a store in Toronto! I got their thai milk tea and as someone who is a huge fan of thai milk tea to begin with, this hit the spot. There is 3 levels of sweetness you can choose from but you cannot choose the ice level. They even have sign explaining why the ice level cannot be changed. The tea is $6.50 and I would say it is the average price of milk tea from other stores. The staff were really friendly, and ordering was easy. They have a range of different thai drink flavours to choose from and they also sell soft serve. The store also sells the brand's loose leaf leave and other merchandise. There is some seating in the store if you want to sit down and enjoy. I will definitely be back to try the other flavours as well as their soft serve!
This is a Thai Tea store. It is the first one in Canada. There are over 300 stores, mostly in Asia. Apparently it is the mostly popular brand in Thailand. It soft-opened on 2025-08-16 and will grand-open on 2025-08-18. Cha means tea. TraMue means "hand brand" (with a thumbs up). It is modern and clean inside. There is adequate indoor seating with small tables. Their drinks are made stronger so their cups are filled with ice so that, as it melts, the taste is correct. I ordered the Thai Tea ($6.50). It had the right taste and very refreshing. The customer service was good. Because it was soft opening, there were a few minor glitches. The husband and wife owners are the same owners of Isaan Der. There is free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom and it is also wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-172
Finally was around the area to try this popular Thai tea store. The inside was really nice and cozy! they already have Christmas decorations up. Seating was really spacious and comfortable. I got the Iced Thai tea with 70% sweetness. It was really good with a strong tea flavor. Initially I thought it was still too sweet for me but as the ice melted and diluted the drink a bit, it was fine. Unfortunately, you cannot choose ice levels and they really loaded the cup with ice. it was like 75% of the cup. Overall: pretty decent Thai tea. But too much ice! I'll definitely come back and try their soft serve or their hot drinks.
We were shopping around Spadina and happened to see this place and decided to try it out. The tea itself was pretty good, you get to customize your own sweetness. They have a fairly large menu to choose from. The only downside is that you can't choose your ice level. By half way through my drink, it started to taste water down. It has an okay amount of seating, you can easily find a spot. Once you ordered your drink, you will wait for your order number to be called. Fairly simple and easy. I like that they also sell the lose tea leaves there as well.
Just opened 3 weeks ago for authentic Thai Milk Tea. So refreshing. We also had a chance to sample their soft serve Matcha and Thai Milk Tea. It was so creamy and smooth. Will have to come try their signature Thai Rose Tea Drink
I was on my way to another Bubble tea place but I saw so many people on the street with drinks from ChaTraMue so decided to stop in. Very cute place! A menu with a variety of coffees, teas and a smaller soft serve ice cream menu. I ordered the Lime Lychee Honey Rose Tea with Pandan Tapioca. I love Boba but hadn't had Pandan. It was good. Only slightly sweet. The tea was also very good. The service was great and generally pretty quick considering how many people were in the shop. I first heard about this place when I saw the Thai iced tea slush on instagram. It's the perfect summer drink! Creamy, sweet, and refreshing with a finer ice texture than most regular slushes. The soft serve was also great, it was super creamy and I liked the tea flavour in it. The green tea had a lighter floral taste which I really enjoyed! I would come back for both items, although if i had to pick between the two I would get the slush. Ordering is super convenient as there's a self serve kiosk inside. Plenty of seating as well. ChaTraMue is the real deal. We were just in Thailand this year and this was one of the souvenirs we brought back to Canada. The brand, tea, etc. is authentic. They do really make their drinks that concentrated with that much ice. We were here this time mostly to check out their tea prices and to get their ice cream swirl. Service was fast, but the swirl needs some adjusting, there wasn't much orange (Thai iced tea) in the mix, mostly green (Thai green tea). For the amount and price, just get one of each to enjoy. The flavor is delicate but it is very nice. Will be back again to grab one pp. This is not a sit and hangout cafe, they have very limited seating and have a 20 min limit. Just grab and go. read more
We were so excited that when we heard this famous Thai tea brand was coming to Toronto. The space is really bright and clean and the staff are very friendly. Service was super quick. We got the soft serve this time but I already know that their Thai tea is authentic. They also sell the tea mixes here which is the one everyone uses in Thailand. My favourite is actually the green Thai tea so I recommend trying that. Everything was also fairly priced as well. read more
This place comes highly recommended by friends and other foodie friends. Had their original Thai milk tea. It honestly wasn't bad at all. But maybe I came in with a higher than normal expectation that will blow my mind, but it didn't. That's not to say it's bad. But I'll probably only return again to try their soft serve which comes highly recommended. The service was great, the staffs were efficient and they do carry a smile while serving / making the drinks. Came here for the promo . BOGO 50% Wait was not bad compared to the first day as what my coworker told me . Waited around 15 mins at around 2 pm I tried the matcha milk tea and although there was a lot of ice - the strong matcha taste balanced it My coworker tried to order the ice cream but it was not available until later . I was a little surprise since it was 2pm when we went I love how spacious the area is . Will definitely return for the Thai milk tea ! read more

This is the most OG Thai tea brand there is. I ordered the Thai lemon tea as there was no dairy free option for their milk teas. Owner told me they will soon launch a dairy alternative option which I'm really excited for! Will definitely come back. read more
Strong flavours, bouncy boba, and almost a creaminess to the tea. Yes, lots of ice but that's to balance the punchiness of the tea out, so let things sit a bit before sipping away. A bit pricey but obvious quality to this bubbletea. read more
i was so excited to try chatramue because this is their first location in canada! their menu isn't super big, but i think this is a pro when it comes to drink shops... to me it means that they've perfected the drinks that they do have! we got the thai tea slushie and the thai tea. i would recommend getting the thai tea at 30 or 70% sugar... the drink is super sweet. the drinks are good, but the reason they're good is because there's a bunch of condensed milk in the drink. i'm rating it 4 stars because although chatramue good, you can make your own version of this drink at home that will taste identical to this drink, at a way cheaper price point. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while. I got the slushie Thai tea and the tea was nice and strong and not too sweet! It was pretty busy with only 1 person at the front counter and 1 person working on delivery orders in the back but the staff were super kind. read more
The soft serve for me was a definite winner! It captured the flavour of Thai milk tea so well without being overpowering or chalky. It also complimented the green tea flavour quite well. It was nice to have on a hot day! read more

Authentic OG Thai milk tea has finally arrived in Toronto! I visited after work around 5 PM, and the line was just inside the door. Glad I did because within 15 minutes the line wrapped outside around the side way. They offered three main categories: soft opening drinks (10 different selections), Thai tea slushes (two options, with floats available for an additional $3), and soft serve (three flavors). It was their second day of the grand opening, and they had a buy-one-get-one-half-off deal. I ordered two original Thai teas and a twist soft serve of Thai tea and green milk tea. There was a queue of people waiting for their orders, which gave me time to try the mixed soft serve. The Thai tea flavor was deep, rich, and packed with the bold, unique taste of Thai tea leaves, perfectly complemented by the warm, smooth notes of green milk tea. I brought the two Thai teas home, enjoying the gentle sound of ice swaying in the cups during my Spadina streetcar and GO Train ride. The tea was fantastic, capturing the magic of that iconic red hue infused into the creamy, tan milky tea. The slight bitterness of caffeine gave me a refreshing jolt after a long workday, sparking fond memories of my time in Thailand. You've got to try this place! I was excited to finally try ChaTraMue in Toronto since it's such a well-known brand, but unfortunately my visit was really disappointing. When I got my drink, the cup was only about 80% full and packed with ice, which made it feel like I was paying mostly for water. On top of that, the tea itself was very weak and watery -- not the bold, creamy Thai tea I was expecting, but more like diluted tea water. For a place with such a strong reputation, I was hoping for much better quality and consistency. Between the small portion, the excessive ice, and the lack of flavor, it didn't feel worth the price at all. Toronto has so many great bubble tea and specialty tea shops, and this sadly didn't live up to the hype. read more
