    Jasmine milk tea
    Phuong Dung N.

This place is always crowded, but do not let the line deter you from getting a drink here because the they work really fast and you will get your drink in no time. I got the premium Jasmine milk tea and it was pretty good. The flavor was strong. It might not be natural, but it's fine. The quality of the milk is good because they use fresh milk. Staff was helpful and friendly. It's a little pricey but I like the flavor, I will be back.

Tried their Jasmine Matcha Milk Tea and it was really good. The base was jasmine milk tea with matcha milk foam on top, very flavorful with a strong jasmine fragrance. I also wanted to try their Jasmine Apple, but it was always sold out every time I asked. The store is clean, no seating area and is always crowded.

I got the premium jasmine milk tea and I do understand the popularity with this franchise. The tea flavour was not too sweet but was strong and florally. We went during a busy time so it was quite the mission to order and wait for the order. Unfortunate that there is no seating here to enjoy the drink. Like what others had said, it is good but also expensive.

I've heard a lot of good things about Molly Tea from my friends. Finally I visited Molly Tea and really enjoyed it! The place has a nice, modern vibe, and the staff were super friendly when I ordered. I tried the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, and it was amazing! The jasmine flavor was fresh and not too sweet, which I loved. It had a nice creaminess that made it super satisfying. I'll definitely be coming back to try more flavors!

Was the tea very good? YES. Was it overpriced? YES. It falls in a similar boat to Chicha San Chen in my honest opinion. Infringing on TenRen's pricing territory (~$10 for a tea) and all teas are default size (you can't pick). Also, this place specializes in milk tea so if you're not a milk tea lover don't even bother. Chicha San Chen has arguably even smaller cups for their close to $10 price tag so I would say you might feel like this place is even better bang for your buck compared to Chicha. The recommended sugar level for some of their teas is also 70% (yea you read that right LOL). I was skeptical so I tried out 70% sugar lvl for my cold white campacha milk tea (at the cashier's recommendation) and I was pleasantly surprised that it ACTUALLY wasn't that sweet still and could still taste the tea leaves. I really don't want $10 bbt to be a commonplace thing in Toronto but here we are. My gf and I enjoyed the flavour of the tea though (can't lie about that), hence the solid 4 stars just based on tea quality.

Two people are holding pink drinks labeled 'Oriental Jasmine' outside the Molly Tea store in Markham, ON. The drinks have black logos and straws. The store's interior shows customers waiting in line, with a digital menu display visible on the wall. The storefront features glass doors and a sign with the store's name.

There were multiple milk tea joints in the area and this one was bustling, so it must be good! They had the floral tea series (not sure if it's a special release or will be permanent on their menu). I had a hard time deciding and the employee there was so sweet and gave me recommendations. I went with the Gardenia milk tea with 70% sugar and light ice (the recommended sweetness and ice level), and my husband got the premium jasmine milk tea. They were both delicious and so fragrant! You can tell they make the tea fresh and use high quality tea. I can't wait to come back to try other drinks on the menu.

A digital menu screen at a tea shop displays a variety of tea options such as jasmine, matcha, and milk teas, with prices and descriptions. Behind the screen, several staff members wearing masks and uniforms are visible, working at the counter. A printed menu is placed on the counter in front of the screen. The setting appears to be a busy tea shop or cafe.

Location/Service This place is in the heart of Commerce Gate (yes, another BBT store) - plenty of parking around, tip is to go underground to avoid fighting spots! It's a small place, no seats available - so you buy and go. Very nice interior, modern with the lightning - good ambience, but it's a bit crowded when it gets busy with lines. Drinks Specialize in actual floral and tea based drinks, this popular chain from China brings that over to Toronto. There were a lot of choices available and the staff is really nice explaining to it all. I would recommend trying the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea that gives off a very fragrant scene of Jasmine and it's not too sweet at 30%. I would also recommend the Mango Slush - it's literally the Mango Pomelo dessert in a drink format. Good chunks of mango and a creamy base. They're also popular with this Snowy Jasmine tea that has whipped cream on top - very good for IG, but not really to my liking cause it was pretty heavy. Overall pretty good spot, I think their style of focusing floral teas makes them unique and a little healthier to drink!

Beautiful Jasmine milk tea with whip cream - A pink paper cup labeled 'Oriental Jasmine' holds jasmine milk tea topped with a generous swirl of whipped cream and sprinkled with chocolate shavings. The cup features a black floral logo and is placed on a light-colored surface. In the background, a person wearing a black apron and blue gloves is visible, indicating a cafe or tea shop setting.

Saw this place was newly open and we happened to be in the neighborhood, so we thought we'd give it a try! It was packed with people, but it turns out they're all waiting for their drinks, not to order. So I was able to just walk right into the counter and place an order. The store space for customers is extremely small. With all the people standing around waiting, it's hard to figure out if there's a line, and they need to reconsider their speaker. The cashier was using a microphone to speak to me, but because the speakers are up somewhere, the sound isn't directed at me. With all the crowd, I had a very hard time hearing her. And they have masks on which means I can't even try to read her lips. Anyway, the menu is fairly simple and I ordered the jasmine snow frappe drink. I got my order number and you can see a team of 8 people basically churning out drinks. They have dedicated machines to dispense the milk tea and there looked to be a staff at each station. It was very efficient and they were pumping out orders and take out orders very very quick. Given the crowd there, I only had to wait about 5 minutes for my tea to be ready. Since my drink was hot and came with the whipped cream topping, they actually waited for me to get to the counter before adding the fresh whip cream and a sprinkle of some kind of sweet salty crumble. She even asked me if I wanted the lid on it. It was pretty so I snapped a picture first of course. I love that they take the time to do the topping after you're here so it doesn't all melt while you try to make your way over to the counter for pick up. They had a screen up top like at MC Donald's where it shows the order numbers they are working on, and then the ones ready to pick up. So you know where your order is on the list. I liked the coffee stirrer type straw and the mini spork they gave me to enjoy my drink. They were labeled as compostable so I'm happy to see that. They are sturdy too! But the cup sleeves are plastic. It's sturdy plastic so I wonder if it's recyclable, but I'll keep it to reuse in the car whenever I buy a hot drink. The drink was fantastic. Light whip cream with a delicious sweet salty crumble. I really enjoyed eating some of it before the rest melted into my jasmine milk tea. The tea itself was a very strong, pleasant jasmine flavor. I don't love sweet stuff so I went for 30% sugar level. It was perfect!!! Very very very little sweetness, exactly how I like my milk tea. At $8-9 a cup (little more when taxes kick back in), it is definitely quite pricey. I rather grab some beautiful loose leaf and brew at home. But as a treat once in a blue moon, I definitely recommend them. I'd love to try another one if their drinks before taxes kick back in. Maybe I'd go for an iced one next time the weather isn't trying to freeze us.

Two pink disposable coffee cups with black plastic lids are positioned on a light-colored table. The cups display the text 'ORIENTAL JASMINE' and 'Molly Tea,' along with a black floral logo. The background includes a blue and gray wall, and parts of other people are visible, indicating a casual setting at Molly Tea in Markham, ON.

The premium jasmine milk tea was pretty good. The tea flavour is strong, but not overwhelming. The premium jasmine super matcha tasted like a powdery instant matcha drink. I asked what matcha powder they use, but the employees weren't sure because it's a powder mix from China. Even though the jasmine drink was better, I wouldn't pay $9 for it. I definitely don't think the drinks are worth the price point.

I tried Molly Tea during their grand opening promotion and it was buy one get one free. Although there was a line, it went by super fast. There was someone pre-taking our orders on a menu. When we paid, the drink order was incorrect. We didn't notice until after getting our drinks. We brought it back and they fixed the issue right away. I got both of their best seller drinks - snowy jasmine with whipped cream, and the jasmine super matcha foam. I got 30% sugar and less ice and it was perfect for my preference. What stood out is how fragrant and strong their jasmine tea is. It tasted really good but also makes me question if there are additives in these to make it so strong. I would try their other drinks again in the future!

My friends and I wanted to try out this new bbt place that opened up at Commerce Gate. There was a HUGE LINE and was packed inside. There wasn't really much room inside and it made the waiting experience quite uncomfortable. Wish they had someone to watch the door on how many people should be let in. Every time someone leaves, all the employees have to say a catch phrase all together which I thought was really interesting. Food: - Snowy Jasmine: 4.5/5 stars. It was really yummy!!! The drink itself is not super sweet which is why they don't reco you reduce the sugar a lot. I liked how the whipped cream added an additional hint of sweetness without overly doing it. The tapioca was also really good and chewy. It's not your typical boba though. Super yummy but For the price though, i wouldn't get it again especially with tax. Would reco to try once!

I finally got to try Molly tea. Originated from Shenzhen, China; they specialize in jasmine tea drinks. Right at opening there was already a line up. I ordered their premium jasmine milk tea and premium jasmine super matcha (both cold, no ice). Really love that jasmine floral aftertaste it leaves you after you take a sip with their jasmine milk tea. Good quality tea leaves. The super matcha was okay, it was creamy, a bit sweet, but not as good as the jasmine milk tea. I do wish they serve in a bigger cup for the price though, as it is quite expensive.

I arrived right when they opened, and there were already a few people waiting in line. The menu is small & curated, focusing more on the coffee than specialty flavours. However, they do have a good selection of flavoured lattes. I wasn't able to see which beans they used for the espresso, but overall, their roast seems to be a bit darker/stronger, which balances out a sweeter latte well. I tried the iced biscoff and pistachio lattes. The biscoff is slightly sweeter and nuttier - definitely my fave of the two. The pistachio latte, in contrast, was disappointing. It was $1 more than the biscoff latte, looked nothing like the photo on the counter, and didn't taste much of pistachio at all. Although it looks like a separate counter, I realized that you can order drinks from either "shop" from their one main counter. I typically hit Kinton Ramen in this plaza, fetch food, and leave. It was nice to have already parked for two hours. I got here at noon. There were plenty of spots available. After doing a quick look at the bubble tea places to choose from, I chose TP Tea. There's one closer to my home, across the border (it sounds fancy) in Scarborough. I needed to check out a different location. TP stands for Taiwan Professional. I still think of my former intern who disliked a software tester at our workplace who creeped her out. She nicknamed him TP, which stood for Toilet Paper.... haha! Anyway, I digress. I walked in and there were two staff members. A young man came over to help me with my order. The Thai milk tea looked so good in the poster on the door that I went with it. I couldn't get it without any sugar, so my order became less sugar and ice. I also got tea jelly. I had never heard of tea jelly before. Tea jelly in tea? Hey, why not? I paid with a credit card. I tipped and tapped. I also signed up for TP Tea's points program. You simply enter your phone number and sign in through the touchpad each visit. You can get free toppings, free drinks, and more. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This store is deep and narrow. You can't sit down and enjoy your drink. You also can't use the washrooms. The woman behind the counter asked if I needed a bag. I politely declined and said that I was going to drink it now, which made her laugh and nod. I wished both folks a great day and headed to my car. The Thai milk tea ws excellent. If you like strong tea, you want to come here. The milk was perfect to balance out the tea. I loved the tea jelly, which added a cool flavour dimension to my tastebuds that I have never experienced. It was awesome and I got a decent amount of it! Less sugar worked out nicely. My drink was a touch sweet. Perfect! I had a great experience. I hope to return to this plaza and get more drinks off the menu. (463)

They use a full large Asian pear inside. With ample and whole ingredients (jujubes, goji, snow fungus). I did a search and found that this location in Richmond Hill was the closest to me. After running a number of errands a couple of Saturdays ago, I placed an order through Uber Eats for pickup. I ordered the following drinks: - Blue Curacao soda - Pink peach soda I had the former drink at Deer Mango, so I would do the comparison between stores with it. I love carbonated drinks, so I had to get the other one that was available. My order was ready well before I got to the store. Due to the lockdown, it wasn't busy at Times Square. For years, I avoided this area like the plague because it was busy and parking was chaotic. It was the complete opposite when I got there. There was a lone car parked in front of the store. I parked next to it and walked in. The store is cute. I would think that it was much cuter before the pandemic. There was a little whirlpool that was empty. I looked at older photos and it had colour balls and plushies. It looks like the mascot is either a llama or alpaca, which made my day! I talked to the woman behind the counter. She was so friendly. I indicated that I had an Uber Eats order. She pointed at the bag in front of her and said that it was mine. I was thrilled. I thanked her and left with my goodies. I had the drinks when I got home. Let's talk about packaging. So much care went into it. Both my drinks were in a crate in the paper bag with a cool camouflage motif. At this store, I was able to specify that I didn't want any sugar in my drinks. I didn't have that option at Deer Mango. The lowest sugar option was 30%. The small pineapple chunks in the blue curacao drink were yummy. I love this drink so much. It wasn't sweet. It had carbonation. It was pretty. It tasted great! I then had the pink peach drink. It was so good with the small strawberries. The peach flavour worked well with the strawberry bits. I loved the fizziness. It also made me feel like it was summer drinking this beverage. I am a huge fan. I haven't dropped by in over a week and have withdrawal symptoms. I will return. (238)
