Pearl latte
Shaan A.

First time trying Kung Fu Tea and I'm a fan! I loved the Peal Latte, it was really delicious! The tea was brewed nicely and the tapioca was quite tasty. It wasn't overly sweet, and price point was standard for bubble tea. I'll definitely be back in the future!

I love to go there. Not just only very close to where I live. But they are all soooo friendly and the bubble tea is good. Alway alway grab the egg waffle when I with my daughter.

10/10 for the Strawberry Yogurt Slush. Kinda taste like a milk shake & bubble tea fusion.

Brown sugar milk tea with ice cream. I don't remember what the actual drink name is but it went down way too easy.

Lots of parking, easy to find. It's in the plaza In the Bruno food's plaza. They currently have a summer special for a few of their slushes. I ordered the mango slush, which was not too sweet and very refreshing. The brown sugar tapioca is really well done. They're chewy with lots of good flavour. I think by far, they have one of the top brown sugar tapioca's I've tried and I wouldn't mind coming to them again. Staff are very friendly and are practicing social distancing well. Kudos to you!

Coffee Milk Tea on Halloween day

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Why? -Friendliest customer service ever ~ -Drinks are sweetened with honey by default -Tea flavor is strong with this chain -Such a unique menu! If you need a suggestion in terms of drinks, my favorite is definitely their [JIN XUAN OOLONG MILK TEA] $5.20 My goodness, some of the best oolong milk tea I've ever had is definitely from this place :D I really like how bold their oolong tea flavor is because honestly, a milk tea that is weak on tea is just flavored milk....not really what I want in a drink, ya know? For you coffee drinkers out there, not sure if I'd recommend this drink but it is coffee-flavored! BE WARNED, it is more milk tea flavored forward than coffee but that doesn't stop it from still being delicious. [COFFEE MILK TEA] $5.50 Think milk tea with a splash or two of coffee in it! Not as much caffeine as your standard cup of coffee, but probably not as delicious either haha STOP ON BY IF YOU'RE IN THE AREA! Support them because they honestly are such a great bubble tea location to keep around in the community (:

Very yummy local boba shop! Our orders came relatively fast and the cashier was really friendly. Will definitely come again.

Cheese foam w/ matcha and strawberry yogurt slush

I enjoy trying new bubble tea shops and I was close by to this one. First impression, not many options on the menu compared to other shops I've been to. I decided to try what I love most *matcha* with cheese foam. The foam reminded me of Japanese cheesecake flavour which I like. Nothing to say about the matcha cause I love them all lol! They use brown sugar tapioca on all their drinks so it made it nice and sweet. The other drink was a strawberry yogurt with brown sugar tapioca. Much more flavourful than your average strawberry yogurt. I believe they also add foam on top AND freeze dried strawberries. So good! Will definitely come again.

I enjoyed the milk tea here. I liked how they use honey instead of syrup. Taste was good, however the sealing of the drinks are not done properly. My hot milk tea kept leaking on my hand, there was a little opening , and it was really hot. Even the cold drinks were also leaking and just became messy, and sticky. Otherwise everything is good. I forgot to take a pic of the drinks...

So excited Kung fu tea opened close to my house, I love the waffle and 38 milk king! (Better than Coco and Chatime) The tea is nicely flavoured and the waffle is delicious... the store is bright, clean and modern, this will be my go to place to hang out in the future with my friends ... Staff are really friendly ... finally I found my new fav BBT place...

I've been waiting for a great bubble tea store to open near me and finally we have one! Kung Fu Tea Bayview is ultra modern, clean, inviting, and located in the heart of Richmond Hill. This family run location has some of the friendliest staff providing great service and are always willing to help. The service is fast, the menus are easy to understand and the bubble tea is nothing like I have tasted before, outstanding. My personal favourite is the Pearl Latte with brown sugar, made with extra care by the staff. When visiting give a thought to the Yakult Green Tea with Aloe, and if your feeling like a pleasant surprise go for the Taro Sago! Thanks Kung Fu Bayview keep up the great service and most importantly the delicious beverages.

I really like Kung Fu Tea's milk teas. I've tried oolong, milk king, and their brown sugar milk tea. The milk green tea is quite good as well. Great service.

Finally a great BBT place in Richmond Hill! This tea shop is bright, clean spacious, friendly and the staff are fantastic! The atmosphere is welcoming and the drinks are delicious! I really enjoyed the winter melon drink I ordered. It is refreshing and caffeine free, perfect for when you want a late night drink and don't want to be up all night. I need my beauty sleep! The signature lite fruit tea is also amazing, with real fruit slices inside. Considering it's their soft opening period, the staff are pretty fast at making the orders so I didn't have to wait long but I gather some staff are still in training. I also tried the waffles in original flavour and chocolate. They are both awesome it's hard to choose a favourite but I think the original flavour tips the scale just a bit. The waffles are made fresh so you do have to wait 5-10 minutes but the time goes fast. I'll have to try the green tea flavour next time, and there will definitely be as next time!! I was first there when they opened early/mid March and pretty much every week thereafter. Right now, they only have take out or delivery options (the seating area is now closed) because of the Covid19 pandemic. It's great to see they are trying to follow government and health officials' recommendations but still serve their customers and keep them safe with social distancing and frequent sanitizing. Hopefully this pandemic won't affect their business too much and they will be around for a long time because this is my new favourite BBT spot!! So happy this Kung Fu Tea shop is in my neighborhood!! I highly recommend giving this shop a try! You'll be hooked too!

Kung Fu tea here's tapioca is truly the game changer. The chewiness and the flavour, it's simply amazing! Also the egg waffle, it's so satisfying!! For sure will come back once again!

A Yelp event last month introduced me to Hana's Tea. Since this first visit, I have returned twice…read morefor more good eats and bubble tea. I will admit that before discovering Hana's Tea, I rarely visited Richmond Hill for bubble tea. I do now! Two of my visits have been after work on a Tuesday. I came here with a friend on a Thursday. You can park on Yonge Street, but parking is limited. There is parking behind Hana's Tea. The sign said that it was by the church. I did the opposite and parked behind McConaghy Centre and walked over. I got the following items as part of the event experience: - Lychee ade - S'mores cookie - Yuzu lemon and tiramisu macarons I love carbonated, fizzy drinks. The fruity ade line screams me. I got the lychee ade with no sugar. As usual, most folks question my choice to go without sugar. I'm used to it. It works for me. The lychee ade was awesome. There were bits of lychee in my drink, which made this drink naturally sweet. It was cold and refreshing to sip. Pure joy! The s'mores cookie had a huge marshmallow in it. I had to get it. It was divine. The toasted marshmallow was so good. The cookie was moist and had the right amount of chocolate to make it taste like s'mores, minus the graham crackers. I'd get it again. The interior is cute and is perfect for taking photos. I used the washroom during my first visit. The decor was lovely. It was clean. No complaints. I got the tiramisu and yuzu lemon macarons for my intern. It was her last day in the office the next day. I normally like to consume macarons before gifting them. I had a good feeling about them here because the filling was abundant and thick. We have similar tastes in everything, so I felt confident about gifting them to her. I paid with a credit card. It also allowed me to tip. Yay! All three visits consisted of my receiving a small bag of candies that had bubble tea in the centre. The next day, I gave her the macarons after we were discussing a work task that she was wrapping up on Wednesday. She was so excited. She ate both of them in a span of a minute. She had the tiramisu first. She said that it was slightly sweet and amazing. She thought that it was her favourite until she had the yuzu lemon. She said that it had lemon peel that made her love this one more. She is a younger version of me when it comes to food. I returned to Hana's Tea two days later. I joined my friend, Sandy, after work on a Thursday. It was her Yelp experience. I came back as a repeat customer. One of the women remembered me. I let her know that I loved everything that I had on Tuesday. I loved everything so much that I was back to order some more, which made her happy. I got these items: - Chicken gyoza - Peach ade - Yuzu lemon and tiramisu macarons The chicken gyoza were delicious. They were crispy on the outside with a thin wrapper on each one. The dipping sauce was perfect. Each gyoza was packed with chicken that was nicely seasoned. Yummy! I loved my peach ade. I got the same question about whether I was sure about going without any sugar. I was fine. It had small bits of peach that I loved. It also had coconut jelly. A large goes for $7, which is a steal. I finally had the macarons. OMG! The tiramisu tasted just like the dessert, but in compact macaron form. It was a touch sweet, but exceptionally yummy. The lemon peel bits in the yuzu lemon were amazing. It was excellent with the perfect amount of lemon brightness. I recently returned to get more macarons, to celebrate my friend's birthday early, who also happens to be my colleague, He had just returned from Paris. I suggested that he get macarons there. He did and loved them. Yep, I got macarons from Hana's Tea. I was hoping that it wasn't a step down from his Paris experience. It wasn't! I got two of each macaron flavour: - Nutella - Crème brûlée - Yuzu lemon The two female staffers recognized me. Yep, I'm becoming a regular. I also got a strawberry coconut refresher. I got it with no sugar and less ice. The female staffer was trying to get me to add sugar. I said that the strawberry syrup was sweet, as was the coconut jelly. End of story. Staff put my macarons in a box. I also got a paper bag to put everything in. It was a nice touch. I thanked them both and headed to my car to drive home. The following day, my friend and I indulged in macarons throughout the workday. We loved all three flavours. The crème brûlée was exceptional. It tasted like custard. I loved the Nutella macaron, which had Nutella filling. It was awesome! I have found a good place that makes yummy fruity ade, gyoza, and macarons. Staff are helpful and nice. I love everything that I have consumed so far, as have my friends. It's a gem of a spot. I will say that this place promptly closes at 9 pm when my friend and I were here on a Thursday. We chatted right up until 9 pm. We got a polite announcement from a staffer that the place was closing. You have been warned! (361)

While we were waiting for our drinks we sat at this really cute window nook and just took in the peacefulness. My wife had a mango tea with foam. Our drinks were perfect. I love that it was zero fuss. Surprisingly not very busy but we did just have a killer snowstorm. It's delicious!…read more After having a not-so-stellar Yelp experience at Ramin Isshin, I left the eatery with fellow Yelper friend, Jason. I felt like getting a drink. I noticed this Chicha San Chen and wanted to check it out. Jason joined me to work off some of the ramen that he had devoured. I've been to the Chicha San Chen at CF Markville. This store is at least twice as big as that location. There were plenty of places to sit down and enjoy your tea. I had a couple of fruity sparkling drinks at the CF Markville place. I was going to ask the man behind the counter if he had them. Instead, he said that he'd be back and I could look at the menu. It was delivered in a not-now-I'm-busy tone. It was odd. It's the only reason why this place doesn't get five stars. I'm so glad that Jason was with me. He said that the woman at CF Markville suggested that he get the high mountain pouchong tea with lemon juice and konjac. I decided to go with this drink. I got this drink with less sugar and less ice. I paid with my debit card on my phone. I tapped and was done. It didn't take much time for this drink to be made. It was nice chatting up a storm with Jason as we waited. The moment of truth was here. My drink was ready. I took a sip. It was awesome! The foam tasted like lemon meringue. The tea was perfect with the lemon juice. The konjac was chewy. I haven't had konjac since I visited Song Tea eons ago (rest in bubble tea peace). I wish that this drink came in a larger size. I drank it too fast... haha! I had a great experience with my friend's recommendation. I like that there's lot of parking in this plaza. I'd return again for more good bubble tea. Maybe staff will be more cheerful then. (437)

Reviewing 2oz of Coffee (located inside Now Tea)…read more This coffee counter is known for doubling up their espresso shots in their lattes, so get ready to be well caffeinated. I arrived right when they opened, and there were already a few people waiting in line. The menu is small & curated, focusing more on the coffee than specialty flavours. However, they do have a good selection of flavoured lattes. I wasn't able to see which beans they used for the espresso, but overall, their roast seems to be a bit darker/stronger, which balances out a sweeter latte well. I tried the iced biscoff and pistachio lattes. The biscoff is slightly sweeter and nuttier - definitely my fave of the two. The pistachio latte, in contrast, was disappointing. It was $1 more than the biscoff latte, looked nothing like the photo on the counter, and didn't taste much of pistachio at all. Although it looks like a separate counter, I realized that you can order drinks from either "shop" from their one main counter. I also found it a bit confusing to figure out the hours of operation, as Google said 2oz of Coffee opens at 11am, but the Now Tea shop isn't open until 12pm.
