    Bo bo strawberry

Everything here was very tasty. Tried the bo bo strawberry, tianguenyum boba milk tea, and the taro 2.0. The bo bo strawberry is so refreshing. The texture and flavour are on point. Not too sweet (considering it's fixed so you can't pick your sugar level). For reference I usually get 30% sugar in my drinks and this was perfect. The bo bo (agar) is a good chewy texture. The tianguenyum one is good too - i got 30% sugar, no ice. It tasted slightly watery but the tea flavour is good. The bobas here are on the softer side but still chewy. Finally, the taro 2.0 has regular bobas and another jelly. It's fixed so no ice or sugar choice. I find it slightly sweet for me, but it definitely tastes like real taro. Its on the thicker side cause of the taro. Docked one star because we waited over 20 mins for our drink even though the store didn't seem too busy. Could have been online orders though.

All the hype in Vancouver, so I'm excited that this is in Richmond Hill now! Surprisingly, there's not much buzz around this bubble tea chain that is now here in Toronto, and there was no line up when I went. I've heard great things about them though and decided to check it out. The store front is large, and has seating. Their menu is extensive with lots of fruit options in your drinks. I opted for their mango sago drink which was more of a dessert in a cup than a bubble tea/ drink. I did enjoy it a lot though and would probably come back to try their other options.

Food..... Macu Tea serves drinks with real fruit Service, the girls serve as fast as they can but there is always a wait because of the long lineup Ambiance, small seating area but always tide and clean Recommendations: go when mongo is in season, cause when the fruit is not in season, the drinks are not that tasty

Really enjoyed the drinks we got here the other day! We got the avocado golden smoothie and the bo-bo strawberry smoothie. Both were great! They have fixed sugar and already come with toppings. The price seems on the higher side, but it does already include toppings, so it's not as bad. There is seating for a few people to sit and enjoy their drinks, but not many. The place is clean, service is decent, and the flavour is spot on!

Relatively new bbt shop that opened up 2 units down from Saigon Star at Hwy 7 and Chalmers. Heard about them off of social media so decided to check em out. The staff who helped us out was very friendly and patient (forgot his name). They have the top 10 most popular drinks listed out on the wall. As a first timer we ordered the king of mango smoothie with 0 sugar. It was quite good! I think it would've tasted better with more mango chunks. Also, I prefer aloe pulp rather than aloe jelly at the bottom of the drink but that is a personal preference I guess. The coconut mixed in to the drink worked! I would return to try their chi-chi and bo-bo drinks as those seemed to dominate the top 10 list (particularly strawberry).

This Taiwanese bubble tea place specializes in fruity smoothies and combinations. Great for the summer heat! And in the winter, they have many drinks that can be made warm if that's your preference. This place has a modern and clean interior and friendly staff. I wasn't sure what the "bo-bo" choice on their menu was and when I asked, they let me sample some of it! (Turns out their 'bo-bo' is crystal boba) I ordered a Chi-Chi Strawberry Smoothie (chi-chi is their cheese foam option) and my go-to Jasmine milk tea at 50% sugar. The total price came out to $16.78 for 2 drinks which is on the more expensive side, but many bubble tea places are reaching around this price range now. The tea itself was okay, I've had both better and worse tea before. I will say their smoothie was better than their milk tea...

I had passed by this store months before iy opened. I could not believed my eyes when I saw the poster outside of this store when it was being renovated. Macu is very popular bubbl tea shop in Taiwan. However, we never heard it has stores in GTA. I was right, it is their first branch in Ontario. I knew thir signature drinks are some extravagantly-decorated drinks. We ordered mango-flavoured drink (or slurpee, or smoothie, or sorbet, it's very hard to define their drinks...). Anything, it tasted very good. The falvour of mango was heavy. I recommend people to try it this summer!

I heard lots of hype about this place so when I came by the area, I thought I'd give it a try to satisfy my craving of bubble tea! It was not very busy when we came in only two or three tables, but everybody already had their drinks. We placed an order and asked for the recommendation they recommended. We got this mango smoothie. It took quite a long time. I think we waited close to 25 to 30 minutes for a drink which I feel is pretty unacceptable especially if we were the only people waiting for drinks. A lot of people were just sitting and chatting, so it seems like a nice café type of place to get a drink and talk with your friends. The taste unfortunately was very underwhelming I don't know if they made our drink incorrectly or they rushed something, but it tasted very, very watered down. I let my girlfriend try the drink as well and she said there was a very faint aftertaste of mango. So just based on my experience so far we probably will give it one more try but it's not very impressive on the first go.

just opened and they're right by some of my favorite restaurants! If you're looking for a little treat, this is the place. They offer drinks made with real fruit--no artificial syrups! The menu features fresh, seasonal fruit options like mango and grape smoothies, plus unique treats like tiramisu and the "Chi Chi" sweet and salty cheese milk foam from New Zealand is delicious! I loved the Chi Chi Strawberry smoothie, It was a great mix of real fruit and cheese! The Sunshine Li-Li Tea was my favorite, blending fresh orange and passionfruit pulp with jasmine green tea. I love how you can actually taste the bits of fruit in the drinks! The Matcha Tiramisu Smoothie is a must-try--layered with crushed Oreos, tiramisu foam, and a hint of matcha bitterness. service was a bit slow because there was so many people. But the employees were very nice especially the one at cashier! ambiance is bright concept and a few seats inside the store there is a restroom for customers as well.

Very satisfied with my mango pomelo drink! I passed by the Vancouver location and the Richmond location, both had super long lines, unfortunately wasn't able to try it while visiting Vancouver area. When I visited Toronto area, I was glad to found this location. There wasn't crazy long line on a weekday before lunch time. There were fresh boxes of mango and citrus fruits, showing that they use fresh fruits for the drinks. My mango pomelo drink has fixed sugar and ice level, but it's a perfect level already; it's more like a drinkable dessert than a liquid bubble tea drink. We also got a grapefruit drink at 50% sugar level, but still too sweet for our liking, could get 30% next time. Highly recommend Macu Tea to everyone!

Reviewing 2oz of Coffee (located inside Now Tea)…read more This coffee counter is known for doubling up their espresso shots in their lattes, so get ready to be well caffeinated. I arrived right when they opened, and there were already a few people waiting in line. The menu is small & curated, focusing more on the coffee than specialty flavours. However, they do have a good selection of flavoured lattes. I wasn't able to see which beans they used for the espresso, but overall, their roast seems to be a bit darker/stronger, which balances out a sweeter latte well. I tried the iced biscoff and pistachio lattes. The biscoff is slightly sweeter and nuttier - definitely my fave of the two. The pistachio latte, in contrast, was disappointing. It was $1 more than the biscoff latte, looked nothing like the photo on the counter, and didn't taste much of pistachio at all. Although it looks like a separate counter, I realized that you can order drinks from either "shop" from their one main counter. I also found it a bit confusing to figure out the hours of operation, as Google said 2oz of Coffee opens at 11am, but the Now Tea shop isn't open until 12pm.

I typically hit Kinton Ramen in this plaza, fetch food, and leave. It was nice to have already parked for two hours. I got here at noon. There were plenty of spots available. After doing a quick look at the bubble tea places to choose from, I chose TP Tea. There's one closer to my home, across the border (it sounds fancy) in Scarborough. I needed to check out a different location. TP stands for Taiwan Professional. I still think of my former intern who disliked a software tester at our workplace who creeped her out. She nicknamed him TP, which stood for Toilet Paper.... haha! Anyway, I digress. I walked in and there were two staff members. A young man came over to help me with my order. The Thai milk tea looked so good in the poster on the door that I went with it. I couldn't get it without any sugar, so my order became less sugar and ice. I also got tea jelly. I had never heard of tea jelly before. Tea jelly in tea? Hey, why not? I paid with a credit card. I tipped and tapped. I also signed up for TP Tea's points program. You simply enter your phone number and sign in through the touchpad each visit. You can get free toppings, free drinks, and more. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This store is deep and narrow. You can't sit down and enjoy your drink. You also can't use the washrooms. The woman behind the counter asked if I needed a bag. I politely declined and said that I was going to drink it now, which made her laugh and nod. I wished both folks a great day and headed to my car. The Thai milk tea ws excellent. If you like strong tea, you want to come here. The milk was perfect to balance out the tea. I loved the tea jelly, which added a cool flavour dimension to my tastebuds that I have never experienced. It was awesome and I got a decent amount of it! Less sugar worked out nicely. My drink was a touch sweet. Perfect! I had a great experience. I hope to return to this plaza and get more drinks off the menu. (463)

So well balanced - can taste the lemon and lime, without over powering the taste of the osmanthus. The osmanthus was fragrant but not too sweet and not artificial tasting. The tea was super refreshing. For the price ($7) of an average drink (bubble tea, coffee, etc) this was a drink that left me feeling like they used fresh and healthy ingredients. Plus it was not a small size either! I'd come back for this drink specifically. They also have food, such as rice and noodles, which I haven't had the chance to try. But their dessert game is strong too! Got the peach resin and pear sweet soup. Can be had hot or cold. I took it home and heated it up and it still tasted fresh. They use a full large Asian pear inside. With ample and whole ingredients (jujubes, goji, snow fungus). Unlike typical restaurants that serve this dessert, they didn't skimp out on the ingredients and it tasted just sweet enough - not too bland, not too sugary. $10 sounded steep compared to the dessert shop right across the hallway of the mall, but when I saw the portion (good size to share for 2 people) and the ingredients inside it seemed the owners really put their time and effort to making their food. Such a friendly family owned business that deserves support!

I peeled off one of them and noticed Song Tea. Interesting. My quest was to find a Song Tea and see what the difference was between the drinks at the two places. I wasn't interested in why the name was covered up. It's not really my business, but it did spark my curiosity to try Song Tea. I did a search and found that this location in Richmond Hill was the closest to me. After running a number of errands a couple of Saturdays ago, I placed an order through Uber Eats for pickup. I ordered the following drinks: - Blue Curacao soda - Pink peach soda I had the former drink at Deer Mango, so I would do the comparison between stores with it. I love carbonated drinks, so I had to get the other one that was available. My order was ready well before I got to the store. Due to the lockdown, it wasn't busy at Times Square. For years, I avoided this area like the plague because it was busy and parking was chaotic. It was the complete opposite when I got there. There was a lone car parked in front of the store. I parked next to it and walked in. The store is cute. I would think that it was much cuter before the pandemic. There was a little whirlpool that was empty. I looked at older photos and it had colour balls and plushies. It looks like the mascot is either a llama or alpaca, which made my day! I talked to the woman behind the counter. She was so friendly. I indicated that I had an Uber Eats order. She pointed at the bag in front of her and said that it was mine. I was thrilled. I thanked her and left with my goodies. I had the drinks when I got home. Let's talk about packaging. So much care went into it. Both my drinks were in a crate in the paper bag with a cool camouflage motif. At this store, I was able to specify that I didn't want any sugar in my drinks. I didn't have that option at Deer Mango. The lowest sugar option was 30%. The small pineapple chunks in the blue curacao drink were yummy. I love this drink so much. It wasn't sweet. It had carbonation. It was pretty. It tasted great! I then had the pink peach drink. It was so good with the small strawberries. The peach flavour worked well with the strawberry bits. I loved the fizziness. It also made me feel like it was summer drinking this beverage. I am a huge fan. I haven't dropped by in over a week and have withdrawal symptoms. I will return. (238)
