Came here a day too early for their bogo promotion so I'm back again. They have some... interesting flavors here. A lot of veggie options... Definitely not trying theit guava and tomato one or bitter melon lemon tea but to each their own. So far I tried their matcha jasmine and water chestnut and sugar cane milk tea. Water chestnut tasted like nostalgia. I dig the little cute veggie thing that comes with the drink!

The only thing i have to say is the worker could be a little faster. She took about 25-30 minutes in total to make 5 drinks. 3 for the person ahead of us, and 2 for me. We went around 10, so they weren't closing anytime soon either. She was nice though. Depends on the nights at the plaza, weekdays is okay but weekends are always chaotic. I like getting their signature milk tea as well.

I typically hit Kinton Ramen in this plaza, fetch food, and leave. It was nice to have already parked for two hours. I got here at noon. There were plenty of spots available. After doing a quick look at the bubble tea places to choose from, I chose TP Tea. There's one closer to my home, across the border (it sounds fancy) in Scarborough. I needed to check out a different location. TP stands for Taiwan Professional. I still think of my former intern who disliked a software tester at our workplace who creeped her out. She nicknamed him TP, which stood for Toilet Paper.... haha! Anyway, I digress. I walked in and there were two staff members. A young man came over to help me with my order. The Thai milk tea looked so good in the poster on the door that I went with it. I couldn't get it without any sugar, so my order became less sugar and ice. I also got tea jelly. I had never heard of tea jelly before. Tea jelly in tea? Hey, why not? I paid with a credit card. I tipped and tapped. I also signed up for TP Tea's points program. You simply enter your phone number and sign in through the touchpad each visit. You can get free toppings, free drinks, and more. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This store is deep and narrow. You can't sit down and enjoy your drink. You also can't use the washrooms. The woman behind the counter asked if I needed a bag. I politely declined and said that I was going to drink it now, which made her laugh and nod. I wished both folks a great day and headed to my car. The Thai milk tea ws excellent. If you like strong tea, you want to come here. The milk was perfect to balance out the tea. I loved the tea jelly, which added a cool flavour dimension to my tastebuds that I have never experienced. It was awesome and I got a decent amount of it! Less sugar worked out nicely. My drink was a touch sweet. Perfect! I had a great experience. I hope to return to this plaza and get more drinks off the menu. (463)

They also have a number of Persian pastries and ice creams in flavours such as pomegranate and saffron. I had never heard of faloodeh but one of the staff there was kind enough to explain that it was a frozen granita style treat with rice vermicelli noodles in it. They also sell pistachio ice cream sandwiched between two large wafers. Pretty looking roll cakes are on display in flavours such as pistachio. Prices are steep! A medium juice is about $11. Large juice costs $13. Faloodeh ranges from $11 for a small portion to up to $26 for 1.5L.

Served with a wide array of nuts (pistachios, walnuts, almonds), coconut shavings, sliced bananas, pineapples, syrup, rosewater, and an ice-cream base, the majoun was filling and definitely enough to share between two people. I was also a big fan of their pistachio milkshake (شیر پسته) which was creamy and not too sweet to taste. While seating space inside Sweetland is pretty limited, I enjoyed their Persian-style decorations and the music. The owner was incredibly friendly and helped us feel right at home inside the shop. We did have to wait a bit (10-15 min) to get our majoun, but this was also the opening weekend so the place was quite packed! I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing number of options they had on their menu. From Mexican Zorat (ذرت مکزیکی) to vanilla ice cream and carrot juice floats (آب هویج بستنی), Sweetland has something to offer in both cold and hot weather. I will be back here for sure to try their other sweet treats!

Since it was my first time using the app, I also received a few coupons, including 25% off a single drink. KALE BOOST TEA - 9.99 + normal ice + light sugar + jasmine green tea + with chia seed I was hesitant to order this drink because paying for a vegetable-based tea sounded questionable, but my cousin insisted it was refreshing. Surprisingly, there was none of the bitterness I expected from kale, and it paired really well with the jasmine green tea. I loved the chia seeds topping, and hopefully it will help with my bowel movements after all the heavy foods I've been eating this past week. My cousin ordered the limited tiramisu milk tea, which HEYTEA is currently offering in collaboration with Pop Mart. We expected it to be fun, but it ended up being fun AND genuinely good. The coffee notes blended nicely with the milk tea, and it wasn't overly sweet or heavy. Overall, this was a solid stop, and I'm glad I got to enjoy something light and refreshing after stuffing myself with dim sum nearby.

This small tea shop has a few seats inside where they also offer a few table games like connect 4. The drinks can be ordered hot or cold. Decently priced, all drinks are one size, large. The staff there was very nice and let my kids have those guava candies to take with them. We ordered the white peach and mango yakult. It was pretty good, not bad. So well balanced - can taste the lemon and lime, without over powering the taste of the osmanthus. The osmanthus was fragrant but not too sweet and not artificial tasting. The tea was super refreshing. For the price ($7) of an average drink (bubble tea, coffee, etc) this was a drink that left me feeling like they used fresh and healthy ingredients. Plus it was not a small size either! I'd come back for this drink specifically. They also have food, such as rice and noodles, which I haven't had the chance to try. But their dessert game is strong too! Got the peach resin and pear sweet soup. Can be had hot or cold. I took it home and heated it up and it still tasted fresh. They use a full large Asian pear inside. With ample and whole ingredients (jujubes, goji, snow fungus). Unlike typical restaurants that serve this dessert, they didn't skimp out on the ingredients and it tasted just sweet enough - not too bland, not too sugary. $10 sounded steep compared to the dessert shop right across the hallway of the mall, but when I saw the portion (good size to share for 2 people) and the ingredients inside it seemed the owners really put their time and effort to making their food. Such a friendly family owned business that deserves support!

I arrived right when they opened, and there were already a few people waiting in line. The menu is small & curated, focusing more on the coffee than specialty flavours. However, they do have a good selection of flavoured lattes. I wasn't able to see which beans they used for the espresso, but overall, their roast seems to be a bit darker/stronger, which balances out a sweeter latte well. I tried the iced biscoff and pistachio lattes. The biscoff is slightly sweeter and nuttier - definitely my fave of the two. The pistachio latte, in contrast, was disappointing. It was $1 more than the biscoff latte, looked nothing like the photo on the counter, and didn't taste much of pistachio at all. Although it looks like a separate counter, I realized that you can order drinks from either "shop" from their one main counter. I also found it a bit confusing to figure out the hours of operation, as Google said 2oz of Coffee opens at 11am, but the Now Tea shop isn't open until 12pm.
