PannTea is probably the cheapest boba around. Their special is like $4 which is a regular milk tea with boba, are you kidding me? Converting to USD with tip is still cheaper than any boba at regular price (before tax and tip). Fast service and restrooms available. Pu'er Milk Tea - at this price it's a steal. Combined with the fact that it actually tastes fantastic? I'd be buying boba everyday if I lived closer. Boba is slightly on the firmer side but it's still chewy plus flavorful (you can tell the sweet flavor by the brown sugar markings on the cup)! Tea was strongly present while also having a creamy after taste. Top tier boba at an affordable price, highly recommended.
Cute little bubble tea shop located in the Milliken Crossing plaza. They have a nice variety of classic and unique milk teas and drinks to choose from. The staff were very patient in explaining some of their more unique drinks as it was our first time there. We ended up getting the white rabbit milk tea and the Oreo cheese foam milk tea. Both tasted delicious but I was really surprised at how much the white rabbit milk tea actually tasted like the nostalgic candy. The staff advised they actually use white rabbit candy in the drink to sweeten it so I was happy to hear that the candy was actually incorporated into their drink! Will definitely come back to try their other unique drinks!
I love them. I've been going for years. Their Mango smoothie is my go-to summer drink everytime I need a pick me up. Their cream bulee milk tea with the cake on top is also incredible. Their Boba texture is unbeatable. The service is good. I love collecting the points. Also love the cute little shop vibes. I love the little trinkets they have all around.
Not your average bubble tea spot Nice Hojicha and durian drinks. Desserts are on the sweeter side but reminds me of the HK tong shui I used to have
Last Wednesday, I was heading over to Little Caesars to pick up dinner. I was driving westbound along Steeles Avenue East. Due to construction, it took me twenty minutes from Ninth Line to nearly Markham Road. I was hungry. I also needed to get some bubble tea. What's the closest place? It was a tossup between PannTea and CoCo. I went with the former. I have avoided coming here, not so much for the quality, but for the name. Ever since I read Jennifer P's review a while back that when you say the name, it sounds like panty, I chuckle and laugh uncontrollably. I knew that I couldn't contain my laughter walking into a business whose name makes me giggle like a little girl. I am the same way with TP Tea. In my mind, TP stands for Toilet Paper. I haven't bought anything there, either. We are in a pandemic. We wear masks. I can laugh behind mine. Yay! I ordered through my Uber Eats app. I got the following drinks: - Supreme fruit tea - Peach oolong tea You can't customize anything in your drinks on Uber Eats. I only got options for specifying a hot or cold drink. Both of mine were cold. I just hoped that they weren't overly sweet. After picking up my pizza takeout, I drove over to PannTea. There was plenty of parking and backed into a spot. I used to frequent this area often over a decade ago. Since my old hangout for pho and T&T Supermarket folded, I rarely hit this corner of the plaza. My order was ready when I had parked. I was thrilled. I walked in and a woman said hi. She was busy working on a drink. I found out a minute later that it was for my order. I saw a second room at the back of the place. I'll need to take a look the next time that I'm there. I was too hungry to check it out. I did like the towel crepe cakes that were displayed. I'll need to get one. They weren't on the app. I thanked the woman for my drinks and headed out the door. I drove home to chow down and enjoy one of my drinks immediately. I liked that each drink was packed in its own slim plastic bag. I suppose that buying single drinks are the usual here. The beverage menu is interesting. There aren't any sizes posted. My peach oolong tea was the equivalent of a large that you get at most bubble tea places. My supreme fruit tea was humungous. If you've ever ordered from Presotea and you get a large, it's that size here. Massive! I had the supreme fruit tea. It has lemon and lime slices with their peel. It's a drink that you need to consume immediately, as having citrus with the peel makes the drink bitter over time. I thoroughly enjoyed this drink. It surprisingly works well with gorging on pizza that does not have any vegetables on it! The drink wasn't overly sweet. It had passion fruit, lemon, lime, pineapple, and watermelon. It was so good. I thought that I couldn't finish it all at first, but I did. It was refreshing and I felt like I had satisfied my daily fruit intake. The downside was how tight the lid was to pop off to get to the fruit. I swear that it took me six tries to get the Mary-proof lid off this cup. OMG! I felt like I needed the jaws of life to get to the fruit at one stage. I had the peach oolong tea the following day. So good! It had a touch of sweetness, which works for me. I loved the peach flavour with the delicious oolong. I am a fan. Someday, I hope to stop laughing at the name whenever I say it. I will return to try more drinks, check out that elusive room at the back, and get a towel crepe cake. (347)

DELIVERY OPTIONS - They're on Door Dash, Fantuan, UberEats and SkipTheDishes. Ordering delivery is simple and rewarding. How does PannTea compare to the more popular CoCo Tea chain? PannTea's pricier than CoCo Tea. Expect to spend $40-$50 for 1 towel crepe and 2 drinks. Don't forget to tip! Closer to Middlefield Road at the other end of the plaza is a very popular chain called CoCo Tea. It's a global sensation since 1997 with stores open in Taiwan, China, USA, Southeast Asia, Canada and Australia. PannTea's large size smoothies are around $7 each, milkshakes $8, flavoured milk teas $6 each, you can buy 2 drinks at CoCo Tea for the price of 1 drink at PannTea. Popular drinks on PannTea's menu include the supreme fruit tea ($8) and the crème brûlée cake milk tea ($7). CoCo Tea has a lower price and always seems to have a regular stream of customers. CoCo Tea has monthly promos and this month it's their Banana series where you get a LARGE SMOOTHIE for just $3.99! You can see why it's very popular in the neighborhood.
Location/Service This place is located near the intersection of Middlefield and Steeles. It's within a big plaza that has a Shoppers Drug Mart, a Chinese grocery and a few restaurants like Jajutak. Plenty of parking available, although it's quite a busy plaza. The place has a pretty visible sign near the back of the plaza. Social distancing measurements are in place - with no indoor dining at the moment i went. I like the little decorations they have set up around the store, very photo/IG friendly. Staff was nice - although I felt they're not too fluent in English. Order was efficiency and ready in a short time, even when I was informed it would be a few minutes. Dessert This place seems to be know more for their different types of teas and smoothies. But they also do soft serve ice cream - and I was particularly drawn to a Durian Soft Serve! As a durian fan, i had to try and assess. The durian soft serve was overall okay - the hint of durian is definitely there, but not as strong as other places I've tried. It was still smooth for soft serve, no ice-y chunks. I did enjoy how they have added extra ingredient like cornflakes, a little bit of cream to blend up the whole thing - making is like a sundae/parfait. This was a great treat on a hot summer day. Would be interested to come back and try their drinks next time!
It was our first visit and we loved it! We ordered the matcha towel crepe cake and the creme brulee bubble tea. The crepe had custard cream in it so a bit sweet but it balanced the matcha powder nicely. My husband is a huge matcha fan and liked it. He already asked to go back for another piece this weekend! The drink was a tad sweet but I didn't mind it. It had chunks of creme brulee pudding and cream....every slurp was tasty. I was most surprised by their tapioca. They were tiny, fresh and chewy! $20 well spent!
First time going to this cute shop. They sell drinks as well as a small selection of desserts. The shop itself is pretty decently sized as it extends in the back. However, due to covid we can't sit down inside. We came here for the matcha towel cake, which you need to order at least 24hrs in advance for. Because we ordered ahead, we didn't have to wait long. The cake itself reminds me of a mille crepe, but the cream inside is so much tastier and the cake layers are thicker. The cake part was soft and moist. There is matcha dusted on the outside, which some may find a little bitter. I drink matcha all the time, so I'm very familiar with the taste and it didn't bother me. Plus, when you eat it with the cream and cake, everything goes so well together. Overall verdict, I would come back to try their other desserts and their drinks! I've been eyeing their creme brûlée cake milk tea or matcha milk shake. Side note, the customer service is really great! They took the time to ask us for our feed back on the matcha towel cake and really showed how much they care about getting it right for their customers.
I tried this bubble tea place recently and saw that they have a white rabbit milk tea. Growing up, white rabbit was one of my favourite milk tea and many white rabbit flavoured dessert never taste like the original candy! However, this milk tea taste very similar! It was super creamy and not too sweet! However the tapioca was super sweet and a little too soft. Other than that, I would definitely come back again!
My mom and I got some bubble teas here and they were fantastic! The store was big and clean with lots of seating, and the man serving us was extra nice. I got the special which was the Pu'er Milk Tea. The large is usually $5.90, but it was on special for $3.90 (the medium was on special for $2.90). I added tapioca for an additional $0.50. I got it 30% sweet and 100% ice and it was perfect for me, as I don't like overly sweet drinks. The milk tea was so rich and creamy, maybe a bit too rich for my tastes, lol. It had a strong potent tea flavour which I enjoyed. The tapioca were a bit smaller than at other places, but they were soft and chewy just the way I like them. With the discount this was a great deal. My mom got the Taro Smoothie, which only comes in large and I don't think you can customize the sweetness (as they didn't ask). The Taro Smoothie is $6.80 and includes one topping, but my mom wanted two toppings so she paid an extra $0.50 and she got both tapioca and red beans. Her drink was very photogenic. It was topped with whipped cream and had a sprinkling of something green, sweet and crunchy (I think it was brûlée pieces, not sure why they were green, maybe pistachio or matcha flavoured? It was hard to tell, tasted mostly of sugar to me). She loved her drink. I had a sip and thought it was delicious in terms of flavour, but much too sweet for me. The store is very spacious with lots of tables and seats. It's clean and brightly lit. They have some huge stuffed animals at the front. The man serving us was very friendly. As we were leaving we thanked him and he stopped us to give us a free Pann Tea reusable bag :) The store is in a strip mall. Same strip mall as Field Fresh Grocery, Wonton Time, and Nguyen Huong (the famous banh mi place). Lots of free parking, but the parking lot is a bit of a zoo on weekends. Oh, and just a funny aside: so I learned about this place on Yelp and I've seen and read the name many times but I never actually said the name out loud until the day I went when I told my mom "Let's go to Pann Tea." It was then that it occured to me that the name sounds like "Panty" and now my mom and I refer to it as the "underwear bubble tea place." Five stars for delicious bubble tea, nice decor, friendly service, and a name that gave my mom and I a chuckle ;)
On my quest to check out all the bubble tea shops that Toronto has to offer, I've decided to check out PannTea after seeing many of their photos on social media. It's located at the plaza around Steeles/Middlefield, which is an area that I don't normally visit, and I was glad I took the trip to visit PannTea. I really like the Supreme Fruit Tea that I got, and I heard from the owner that they use fresh oranges, pineapple and other fresh fruits for my fruit teas. My boyfriend tried the Creme Brulee Cake Milk Tea recommended by the owner and it was really amazing as well -- you get a slice of cake in the drink! Like how awesome is that?! Since the space was so nice with the cute stuffed animals we decided to stay a bit longer and try out their desserts as well. The Matcha Towel Cake was definitely the most unique dessert there, and if you love a strong matcha taste, this is the cake for you! The Creme Brulee and Custard Puddings that we also tried were pretty good as well. From my experience, I can really tell that the owner of PannTea really value providing good quality teas and desserts to her customers, and the teas she recommended were all really good.
We saw a lot of friends had been here before, so we would like to try. They recommended the big white rabbit tea, which had reminded your childhood memories. I did Durian Milk Tea instead. There were only two staff there and we waited for a while to get the drink. They were busy. We did taste the durian pieces inside, but durian tasted not too strong, for whoever loves durian, that's not enough. And I ordered no ice and min sugar. Min sugar was still a bit sweet to me. No ice was good. I was OK with this drink. I would like to try the big white rabbit tea next time. And find the time would be less people. read more

I can't believe I always pass by this shop when I grab Banh Mi next door because I absolutely love how creamy and flavourful their drinks are! On a normal day without Covid, the shop has ample space for sitting, plus they have the cutest stuffed plushies to take photos with as well. The cashier or owner was very courteous to us when we arrived, and was patient when we had questions & deciding what to order. By his recommendation, we ordered the Matcha With Milk and the Creme Brûlée Milk Tea. They also offer a variety of snacks and desserts, so of course we had to try the creme brûlée's they offer as well. We absolutely loved both drinks as they were creamy and had chewy tapioca. My favorite was the Creme Brûlée Milk Tea as it was made warm, but the Matcha With Milk was refreshing as well. For their takeout Creme Brûlée, you can't expect too much as you're not eating it there so it would generally be colder. I would've enjoyed it much better if they torched the top with sugar (for usual Creme Brûlée), but still delicious & soft. read more

Got Before Sunset. It was good & interesting - different from the usual offerings from bubble tea places (but then this isn't your traditional bubble tea place). It had a nice texture from the fungus, fragrance from the blue wolfberry & osmanthus & sweet fruit (?) chunks at bottom. read more

Excellent service here!! I came with my dude at a rather chill time. The interior is very clean and modern looking, walls were a dark grey but the overall vibe was bright. I didn't know the difference between their crème brûlée cake milk tea and crème brûlée milk tea and so I asked the owner (middle aged Asian man so I'm guessing he's the owner because I've seen him my second time around) and he tried to explain in english. I said j can speak Cantonese. So he went into detail about how the cake milk tea has the actual cake in the tea. I ordered the hot crème brûlée cake milk tea and it was interesting! My dude didn't want anything so it was fine. We went to the window side and the owner came with a cold version of the crème brûlée cake milk tea. It was on the house!! I was very surprised and excited to try it. THANKS, OWNER OF PANNTEA! I def recommend the cold one. It's much smoother, cake taste was more prevalent, and overall a better aesthetic and experience. The second time I came, I got a hot peach oolong. He recommended the cheese foam, which I was skeptical about, but after trying it, I def see why my friends recommended this place for their cheese foam. At first, it's like you're sipping on cheese. Then when you get through it and to the tea, it's a peculiar but fascinating experience. You get the cheese first but when you swallow, the taste of tea lingers. Beautiful. Def recommend this place. PannTea is located in Field Fresh Plaza at Middlefield and Steeles. I am happy that a Tea place opens up here as there are not too many in the area. Special Alert: Buy one get one 50% off on weekdays and 20% off on weekends. I wish they would put a sign up in the windows so people would see that. The clientele of this plaza is low and mid price range. Field Fresh probably one of the cheapest Chinese grocery stores around. $6+ for a drink? Not too many people that frequents the plaza would have willing to pay that on a regular bases. Super Fruit Tea ($8) loves the fresh passion fruits, orange and watermelon inside. Definitely not ok with a piece of canned pineapple. They should just skip that instead. For $8+tax, it was a refreshing drink especially if you love watermelon! Oolong Tea with Pearl ($5.8) was a lot milky than other ones I tried. It is quite standard. One of those I am not too sure if I would recommend or order again. The service was nice and friendly. I was the only customer there on a Saturday lunch time. I do love the spacious interior and decor looks inviting. Not a bad option if you have craving for bbt in the area especially they have the special going on. But I guess I need to bring a friend? or I should just drink both of them..... read more

The drinks were amazing. They currently have a promotion when you buy 1 you get 1 for 20% off. You can tell they use fresh milk. Also, the coconut jelly is one of the best I had. It's square and different from other chain bubble tea shops. Note: on some sites they say they open at 11:30am but they actually open at noon. read more

Hell yeaaaa another place that sells Fruit Tea has arrived (think along the lines of Feng Cha). This new drink joint is located in the plaza on Middlefield-Steeles on the same side as the Chinese supermarket. I feel like this is a really good location to open up a drink place as there really aren't many options for drinks in this area like east of Midland. For their soft opening, they offered BOGO free... damn good deal, guys! This basically gave my an excuse to try as many drinks as possible HA. This place has ample amounts of tables and seats - def a good option for hanging out with friends. The times that I came during the lunch hour, it was quite empty so could be a studying option too. Service here is friendly - the guy running the cash is always polite and helpful to answer any questions. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that they're new, some items weren't available and they were a bit slow but I'm sure they'll improve with time! Price is higher than Alley and Coco... approx. $6.5-8 per drink here. So far I've tried... Fruit Tea with Agars ($6.80) - The agars topping is interesting... it's like crunchy flavourless tapioca-esque but less filling than tapioca. The fruit tea itself tasted good - refreshing... kinda citrusy juice. Orange and Grapefruit Tea with Coconut ($6.80) - This tasted quite similar to the Fruit Tea with Agars. Except it def has a more orangey taste. Supreme Strawberry Tea ($7.50) - Basically green tea blended with fresh strawberries... pretty good! Supreme Milk Pineapple Tea ($8) - They accidentally made this with mango juice instead, which they offered to re-make if I wanted but I said it was okay because you best believe I ain't complaining about mangoooo. Honestly, with the mango it tasted really good. Mango + Pineapple is always a good combo. It was supposed to be more liquidy but turned out a bit more slushy. Uji Matcha ($6.80) - This comes with a salted cheese cap. Basically tastes like matcha with some milk. The cheese cap compliments the matcha. Looking forward to visit this place in the future and trying their other options - they're items are all fresh and don't taste artificial! read more
This is my favourite place to get bubble tea in Scarborough. The milk tea is very creamy and full of flavour. They have very cute stuffed toys in the store that you can take pictures with. I recommend trying the Creme Brulee Cake Milk Tea if you like milk teas and Supreme Fruit Tea if you enjoy fruit teas. Parking is not an issue as there are plenty of parking available in the plaza. read more
Definitely a very popular bbt shop in Scarborough and I can see why! Their menu offers a lot of choices so you're bound to find something you like. Our family favourite is the mango smoothie with lychee juicy pearls and mango chunks, strawberry smoothie and the Royal Milk Tea is really good. All these drinks are very refreshing! They have also sell matcha and taro crepe which looks literally like a towel. That cost about $21 but I heard so many positive reviews and it's worth the price. I've been here a couple times now, and they're pretty consistent with their teas. They have a good selection of teas that will probably work to anyone's palate. This is the only bubble tea spot in this area -farther from the normal midland road plazas, so if you're here I would say its good you don't need to trek far for bubble tea. There is space inside in case you need to study or stay and enjoy your drink in the cafe. The interior is nice, and clean. read more

Went here for the first time. Was just passing by running an errand. Decided to try it out. Ordered the Creme Brulee Cake Milk Tea and i really love the taste. Would definitely reccomend people who havent heard of this place to go here. read more
Another new bubble tea location out east so decided to give it a try. Place is conveniently located in a strip plaza with plenty of parking. Ordered the Special Fruit Tea, Taro Milk Tea and a newly introduced drink Blue Wolfberry Osmanthus. What stood out here is the new drink which is very photogenic and has a very unique name which even I struggled to pronounce for the first time. Actually enjoyed the drink as it was very refreshing and not overly sweet. They also have weekday discount specials so don't forget to take advantage of that. read more
TLDR version: I quite like the fruit drinks here (no tea in the mix). I haven't tried the tea and milk tea yet, so no comment on them. We dropped by after dinner and ordered 2 fruit drinks with bubble/jelly. I ordered my drink 30% sweet and half ice. My drink had an intense fruit flavor that didn't taste like it was from powder. I liked that there was a lot of fresh fruit bits and jelly in my drink (yeah). At 30% sweet, it was more sour than sweet, and I liked it that way, because it tasted more like a diluted fruit juice than a sweetened beverage. If you are into sweeter bbt, you might want to order it at 50% sweet and higher. The drink wasn't cheap, but it was a large size, making the pricing/value on par with other bbt places. I am not sure if there are smaller sizes. Services was very friendly. The interior decor was nice and welcoming. Washroom was clean during my visit. read more
Came here as a friend had mentioned how good this place was and I was not disappointed! The place itself is spacious with lots of seating in the back creating a nice cozy ambience. I asked what their most popular milk tea was and was recommended the Creme Brûlée milk tea which I thoroughly enjoyed! Customized with half sugar, the drink was perfect and not overly sweet. The tapioca is also very well made; it has a nice bounce and chewiness to it with a slight hint of brown sugar. Will definitely be back! read more

I got brown sugar bubble milk Tea absolutely no taste like crap when my dad wanted less ice the lady argued in terms of the tea it was so sweet one so tapioca is way better they should take some pointers from them. Their tapioca is garbage as well to chewy I love onezo because they make it from Scratch. I see this place lasting only 6 months there are to much competition. My friends and I drive by this bubble tea shop often and decided to go in one day and we were not disappointed. I got the Ugi Matcha drink, the drink was perfect and not overly sweet. The space itself is spacious with a lot of seating (pre-covid) which makes you feel welcome. We've been back a few times since then and another favourite is the Supreme Fruit Tea. The perfect refresher filled with fresh fruit. read more
We decided to stop here after doing groceries close by. The bubble tea here was good. The bubbles were fresh, soft but not to chewy. They made my tea with the right amount of sweetness when I asked for half sweet. The people were nice and patient. If I were grocery shopping here, I would go again. This review is solely for their Patisserie milk tea, which was recommended by the lady that was working there. There's a fairly sized menu here. I see a lot here more into their fruit teas, perhaps those are a safer bet to go with. We were told the patisserie milk tea would taste like cake but it ended up tasting like Ovaltine. It could also have been more fine and homogeneous. My partner noticed it tasting powdery. It wasn't bad by any means but I definitely wouldn't order it again. The tea was very cream and the tapioca here is pretty standard. They were very chewy, maybe too chewy. Sweetness level was fine at 30%. The decor is really nice. A good place to have a seat while hanging out with some friends. There's plenty of seats too. read more
