    mango cake in a can

The bubble tea is surprisingly good here. The peach oolong tea might ACTUALLY be better than the peach oolong at the Alley. I also like the popping bubble topping. It's not too sweet and packed with flavour. I got my gf the mango cake in a can and she really enjoyed it as well. The cake was moist and the mangoes were sweet. These things are KINDA overpriced for what they are but so many desserts are nowadays lol. (Mofu is the brand of the cake maker I believe). We also tried green tea and strawberry cream filled mochi to try. I liked both. The dough was nice and chewy (not tough) and the filling had a nice creamy texture. My gf wished the strawberry mochi came w/ fresh strawberry chunks so it was a lil disappointing for her (difference in preference). From other reviewers, it seems like this chain is well-known in other parts of the world. I do like that they setup shop in sky city where there's a ton of competition. I'm definitely gonna come back in the future to try some of their other drinks. They have some very interesting seasonal drinks that I want to explore further.

I love this food heaven in Scarborough inside the Skycity Shopping Centre. Thirsty and luckily stumbled upon this brand new tea/bakery. They have locations in the US, New Zealand but first location in Toronto! The fresh lime green tea was amazing, not too sour and super refreshing for the summer time. Peach is in season, the fresh peach Oolong tea was light and refreshing. The original tofu cheesecake cake slice with the jelly and a layer of chocolate base was nice and light and different with a bunny pattern made out of cantaloupe. I got a milk tea Mochi muffin that I will try when I get home! Will come back for other items on the menu.

Avocado yogurt tea and mango pomelo

Made it on time for their grand opening bogo special! The rest of this week there are still some pretty good deals. We ended up getting their avocado yogurt tea (added golden tapioca for 80 cents) and the mango pomelo drink. Both were slightly frozen blended style. The wait took around 20 min but not bad considering how many orders they had. They have a small bench inside the shop but most people waited outside. The avocado yogurt tea was not very sweet and you can taste the tea! The golden tapioca was still warm so had to mix it well with the drink but otherwise had a nice chewy texture. Some shops soak their tapioca in sugar water or honey but it does not seem like Moge does which I liked. The mango pomelo was a little more subtle in flavour and it comes with golden tapioca and jelly. Could not really taste the flavour of the jelly but overall all the textures mixed well together. I will definitely be back to try some of their fresh fruit teas next!!

Visited mofu because it popped up on my insta feed. Loved the place. Super cute bakery inside moge tee. The strawberry shortcake in can was amazing. Very fresh, very light and not that sweet. The fresh mango tea was amazing. Will definitely be coming back to explore what else this place has to offer

    Fresh Strawberry Tea

I grabbed the fresh strawberry tea here and it tasted great! It came with fresh chunks of strawberry in the tea, jelly lining the bottom and tapioca. I also did not adjust the sugar or ice level and it was perfect. The only con is that there aren't any tables/ seating apart from a bench near the entrance.

We decided to get 2 items for an event. 1) Tiramisu - perfectly balanced in flavor and sweetness. The sweet cream with cake layers, the chocolate and coffee flavors working together, a delicious moist treat. 5/5. Definitely a must try if you've never had it. 2) Thai tea tiramisu - this had good Thai tea flavor but I felt it was a bit one note in comparison to the classic tiramisu. Still good but hard to beat the original. 4/5. Price is about 20$ each and they're not huge but really tasty. Definitely a crowd pleaser for gatherings.

It had all tiramisu varieties discounted by $5. Yes! What tiramisu flavour should I get? I had a tough time deciding. Classic, Thai milk tea, or earl grey? I went with Thai milk tea. This place also has gelato bars. I was curious and got a white chocolate raspberry gelato bar. I drove down to pick up my order. Nonna Lia is a part of Bontea. I was so excited to get my goodies that I didn't even bother getting bubble tea. Next time! Bontea is a couple of doors down from LaMochi Donuts. I had no problem parking in front of Bontea and heading inside. A woman greeted me. I let her know that I had an Uber Eats order. She fetched it from the fridge and handed me a nicely branded paper bag. I thanked her, wished her a great evening, and headed to my car. I immediately had the white chocolate raspberry bar. It was excellent! If you love raspberry gelato or anything raspberry, this bar is for you. The white chocolate was subtle. This bar wasn't sweet. I still dream about the bar. I need another one! The following day, I brought the Thai milk tea tiramisu to share with a friend at work. It has more mascarpone than lady fingers. It's like a decadent mousse with bonus lady fingers. We both loved how it tasted like having Thai milk tea, but in dessert form. It was light, yummy, and full of flavour. The lady fingers were perfect. Each container of tiramisu runs between $22 and $25. It's on the pricy side, but it is worth treating yourself here and there. This place is grab-and-go for both desserts and bubble tea. There aren't any seats to sit down and enjoy your treats. I'll definitely head back for more tiramisu and gelato bars. It took a while for me to finally give this place a try. I'm so glad that I did at long last. (463)

It had good earl grey flavor in the cake itself. The chestnuts on top and pureed chestnut were pretty good though could have been a bit sweeter. The cream in the cake was light and not too sweet. I searched around, this store was nice and more comments. So we decided to come here. Midland is a well known location that not hard to find. There was 1 more hours to be closed, when we walked in. But the casher was not rush me. She just let us know we could scan the QR code for the menu on the table, and come up to the counter to order, when we are ready. We were debating which one to get, Golden Mango or Matcha Mango Bingsu. The cashier said Golden Mango is giving different texture, even though it's all mango flavor; the Matcha Mango is using matcha shaved ice as base, then top with Mango fresh fruit. So we final decision was the Golden Mango Bingsu. Once we ordered, we got a electric alert board. We won't wait long, the alert board was beeping when our order was ready. I went back to the counter to get my Bingsu. This desert is not big that costs $12.55+tax. Sago has no taste. Fresh mango is on the top, mango base is mango flavored shaded ice, which is like ice cream that smooth. Mango sauce as layer is in the middle of the base, which makes stronger taste. Overall, it's pretty tasty and fresh. That's another type of ice cream for me. The store was open until late night, and I was seeing couples coming in. That reminded me long time ago when we were young. Enjoy the desert and also enjoy the late night life.

The mango sago ... while it wasn't bad, both my gf and I agreed that it's something both our parents could've made better LOL. The mango soup didn't have much flavour and the sago at the bottom was even MORE bland. And they have the audacity to charge $13.50 (as of June 2025) for this small bowl. Not recommended at all. The tong yun w/ crushed peanuts, sugar and coconut shreds was a lil better. It was my first time trying this style of tong yun (I think I still prefer the classic, black sesame filled tong yuns over these).
