Have always loved coming here not just for their high tea events, but for their treats! Everything here is so yummy and fresh, not once did I have a bad experience with them! The staff are fun, and patient when I'm being indecisive with what I want to get. It's a cute cafe with alpacas everywhere, worth the stop!

We custom ordered 30 boxes of Totoro themed cookies for my son's birthday party and Oishii Sweets did not disappoint! The cookies were individually wrapped and placed in their signature gift boxes. The owner Tiffany came out to say hi which was a nice touch. Our guests were blown away by how cute the cookies were. Thank you Oishii Sweets!

This review is based on my preordering pickup experience. I had pre-ordered and prepaid for 4 of the Mid Autumn Totoro cookies via DM on IG. The process was quite smooth, I even selected specific designs. Upon pickup, it was also quick and easy. The inside of the shop was cozy and welcoming. The treats laid out on the table, shelf, and in the display case were absolutely stunning and it definitely won't be my last visit for other cute treats!

Oishiii Sweets offers adorable, delicious desserts and a charming atmosphere. The highlight was Larry the Llama plush, adding a fun touch. Great spot for sweet treats and a cozy vibe!

Came for the Pokemon pop up! Treats like the macaroons were super sweet but it was nice to see the art. We also bought some merchandise which I felt was worth the hype!

Super cute cafe with lots of unique baked goods/desserts. This would be a super chill place to catch up with friends - the ambiance is quite cozy/ relaxing . They have cute little trinkets for purchase as well like crocket keychains. We tried the mochi donuts and they were sooo tasty + nice chewy texture . Only downside is it's quite hard to preserve the mochi donuts for more than 1.5 days. After that , it becomes stale real quick . I would definitely return to try some of the other deserts/ drinks

I have been to Oishii Sweets for a couple of times as I am a fan of their cheesecakes, mainly the black sesame cheesecake and ube cheesecake. Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff. It is a cute and cozy cafe with plenty of seating with a few booths from vendors selling their hand made items. There are plenty of parking spaces in the plaza. On my last visit, I tried something different and got the Ube Panna Cotta which had a soft and silky texture. Overall, I will be back to try other cheesecake flavours!

This is a quite , clean and cozy coffee place offering sweets and cakes. Decor is very stylish too , can easily spend hours sitting here alone with a pot of tea and sweets The staff is very sweet and friendly, I enjoyed sitting here with a pot of tea/coffee, having cakes and cookies. They also have a lot of cute cookies, will try next time!

honestly this place is a vibeeee, it's decked out in studio ghibli and they sell local artist goods. the macarons were unfortunately way to sweet for my preference, could be reduced in half imo. overall, it's still a great spot to study and hangout with friends! i tried the sznal calcifers ginger latte and it was good, ginger flavour was stronger but, again, a bit too sweet

(This was based from the pop-up event they had at Isabella's Mochi Donut Boutique on Mar 16th) I have heard about this place and never gone because I normally do not go to the Markham area often. Staff was really nice and the selection they offered was pretty crazy where they had many Easter themed cookies. I ordered 5 of their mochi muffins, 3 sugar cookies, 1 Easter egg chocolate cookie and 2 ube cinnamon rolls. The muffins were really interesting as they were soft but had a bounce to it. I am not a muffin person but the muffins from here were pretty good, flavour was there but not too strong. I admired the sugar cookies for some time before eating them since I am sure it took time for the bakers to create these masterpieces! I was sold on the baby yoda cookie, it was so adorable to look at haha. Knowing this now, I would for sure go to their actual location and try out their other goodies such as their ice cream.

    Black sesame tofu cheesecake

Never paid attention to this bakery in our hood. To impress our friends with a picky sweet tooth, we planned to order a special dessert. Search indicated this bakery has great reviews on black sesame tofu cheesecake. We decided to give it a try. As read in one of the review, I specifically asked for a slightly stronger black sesame taste. Result was exceptionally good !! Black sesame taste was just right with the tofu taste. Both did not overcome the cheese taste. This cake received a lot of compliments that evening. Got to mention, that store is not just a bakery, they are also a small cafe with quite a few of neat merchandise for sale. It was around Chinese New Year. They even have different cookies with CNY theme available. Staff are very friendly and patient. We will definitely try other dessert next time.

Solid bakery! Yuzi cake was tasty but was a little too creamy for my taste. I think most of their cakes are cream cheese based so this might be more appealing for cheesecake lovers. I'll come back to try the other baked goods!

Mochi donut, macaron, and slice of ube cake

I was exploring the Scarborough area and was craving some desserts. My Google map showed me this café as one of its recommendations and it had great reviews, so I decided to check it out! It was a small cozy café with abundant cute décor- from the wall art to sugar cookies, cute things were everywhere! There were also a few tables available to sit that could accommodate about 10 to 12 people. There were a few people in line in front of me, so while waiting, I browsed things around me- there were baskets of cute sugar cookies made with colours of the fall season to hand-painted objects made by various artists. When it was my turn, a friendly young lady at the counter greeted me and helped me to pick some desserts. There was so much variety, it was hard to pick! I purchased three- a mochi donut, a yuzu macaron, and a piece of ube cake. The first one I ate was the ube cake- I love ube and the lovely purple colour! The crust was crunchy like cheesecake crust. The cake was soft, lightly sweet and had a light taste of ube. The yuzu macaron was delicious- the outer layers were soft and crunchy and the yuzu filling inside had a light tangy taste. The mochi donut was also lightly sweet and very chewy, just like a piece of mochi! I love the chewy texture of desserts, so this was my favourite! If you're craving some unique desserts, this is the place to go! Highly recommended!

That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. I understand their pain hahah)

My cousin and I arrived shortly after opening on New Year's Eve. The cafe has a small interior with minimal seating, mostly bench seating along the wall with small round coffee tables. Even though there was only one barista working that morning, she was efficient at taking orders and making drinks despite several orders happening at once. We did not feel like we were waiting very long. I ordered a pour-over with the Finca El Paraiso Peach Colombian beans, which use a thermal shock washed process. That was something I had not heard of before. The tasting notes listed nectarine, tropical fruit, and caramel, and it was recommended since I was looking for something more out of the ordinary. I enjoyed the wilder flavor profile, but it was hard to fully appreciate because the coffee tasted overly diluted. The barista mentioned she used a 15g to 250g bean-to-water ratio, which is higher than how I normally enjoy my pour-overs. My cousin ordered a flat white with whole milk that was very creamy with strong espresso notes. We also ordered a matcha latte for my other cousin, which was apparently too creamy. Overall, the beans themselves were good, but the pour-over leaned watery for my personal preference. The bag of beans used for the pour-over was priced at $32, which is only a bit more than double the cost of the pour-over itself. In hindsight, I felt slightly ripped off and should have just bought the beans instead.

It's more like a roasting factory dedicated to perfecting coffee. I ordered a pot of hand-drip "Melona." The first sip wasn't particularly amazing. But it was very clean. Slowly, the clear fruity aromas of honeydew melon and cantaloupe emerged, not overpoweringly acidic, but rather a gentle, restrained layering. It's the kind of coffee you find yourself drinking the whole pot without even realizing it. The space inside is also a big plus. The front area displays various coffee beans and related products, and a whole wall of transparent glass allows you to see the roasting factory in operation behind it. And their product line is incredibly comprehensive: coffee beans, equipment, instant coffee, canned coffee, espresso, and even ice cream (The most complete I've ever seen) I didn't have time to try many beans today, but I'm already looking forward to the Lychee flavor I'll be ordering in a few weeks More suitable for coffee enthusiasts (especially pour-over lovers) Clean flavor with detail, not the overly pleasing type Perfect for sitting alone for a long time
