I ordered the Cake Tasting Box from Daan Go Cake Lab a week in advance, and it was such a fun experience! The flavors were creative and enjoyable, definitely worth trying. I really think that Daan Go Cake Lab should have more locations because I can't get enough of my all-time fave, the Mr. Carrotail. But recently, I decided to mix it up and ordered a six-pack of macarons which included some amazing flavors like Matcha, Earl Grey, Blueberry, Vietnamese Coffee, and White Peach. Let me tell you, I was blown away by how delicious and perfect the texture was for each one. I'll definitely be ordering more in the future. Plus, the customer service was top-notch as always. Ordered a birthday cake from here recently, and also received some macaron treats from a friend. My Vietnamese Coffee Tiramisu was good, but not quite flavourful. I found it lacking in both coffee and sugar - I'm not the type to eat super sweet things, and this definitely was on the blander side. Presentation, however, was beautiful. My sister had ordered the exact cake only ~2 months ago and had a very different experience. My friend got me a box of assorted macarons too - and they're so adorable!! I have yet to finish all the flavours, but have had the white peach, pandan coconut, mango, ovaltine, and HK milk tea ones thus far. The ovaltine one didn't taste like ovaltine at all (no malt flavour whatsoever) and the peach one had a weird chemical / acrylic aftertaste. The HK milk tea one was delicious and spot on. The pandan coconut had a rich coconutty flavour, while the mango had a more subtle but still tropical taste. Daan Go is a great place if you're looking for some presentable and eye catching sweets, but I was a little disappointed this time with the inconsistent quality. read more

I'm so excited that Daan Go opened a new location in Mississauga, so close to me. I used to travel to Toronto to Kensington Market to get their macarons. Each macarons are so cute wiry different characters on it. It taste as good as it looks! I had the pandan coconut cake and mango cheesecake so good. They also have a Variety of ice cream in a tub with unique flavours I love that it's not too sweet. Will be coming back again to try the other flavours. I highly recommend! read more

crowd pleasers! I bought the crepe cakes (both the matcha and Thai tea) for a celebration and they were gone within minutes. everyone was complimenting the taste of the cakes, and personally knowing daan go I didn't expect anything less. I loved the level of sweetness of the matcha and the Thai tea; but if I were to get one again, I'd just get the matcha. the macarons were hard even after we took the cakes out of the fridge and left it out for a few minutes, but I guess that's expected from being put away in the fridge for a long time. the price tag is a bit steep ($80 + tax per cake) so I wouldn't advise people to get a cake here just for fun. once in a while is fine. I was really pleased with the fact that I could order the cakes a day before. that was definitely a point from me. read more

I was shocked to see it in Mississauga but definitely pleased!! I've gone to his Kensington Market location. I saw their shop during opening weekend and the line was way too long for me. Lots of parking in front of the store and it's convenient that Pho 99 is just next door. I finally went one afternoon and still waited around 15 mins to buy 2 items. Their macarons are super cute and still $3.50 from pre-covid price. Their mini desserts are $8 each and also very eye-pleasing and colourful. I gotta try them all - one day!! I got a mini terra plant in which I was surprised everything was edible - including the flower pot which looks like plastic, but it was white chocolate. I shared it with my partner and it was definitely fun eating it. The macaron was a delight to to my taste buds. Going back?? Of course!! I just hope the wait time is shorter. Daan Go is my go-to dessert spot at this point. It's only downside is it closes around 6pm. Which isn't a huge deal, but it's inaccessible when you have those late-night cravings. Their cakes are absolutely delicious, and I've yet to find one that I do not enjoy. Not only are they eye catching, but they are decorated really well. I love that they use the decorations as part of the food and not just looks. For example, the ramen in the ramen bowl cake is pudding, making it tasty to eat and a good texture, unlike most places that would use fondant. Their macaroons are slightly more than other places, but their flavours are nowhere close to basic. The texture of the macaroon is always perfectly made and consistently tastes fresh. I've yet to try their ice cream, but that will definitely be the next try. The flavours are all attention grabbing, and sound very interesting. I recommend visiting Daan Go, especially for their cakes. You can get most of them as slices, my favourite being the Mr Cottontail. A perfect carrot cake, probably the best I have had. I just wish it came with more of it, as I always devour it! read more

I came by this place yesterday around 4pm, which was not busy. When I entered, I was surprised it's minimalistic and filled with cute desserts. The employees especially the cashier is so welcoming and nice. I picked an assorted box of 6 macarons, $20. The flavors I got: Hong Kong Milktea, Salted Caramel, Hazelnut Chocolate, Roasted Milk Tea, Strawberry, then Mango. My favorite is strawberry, hazelnut chocolate, and salted caramel. The strawberry is very subtle, the hazelnut chocolate leans toward the nutty side of taste and the salted caramel is good but strong, i suggest to the flavour to be toned down perfectly. My least favorite is mango, hong kong milktea, and roasted milktea. The mango is more of a citrus taste. Lastly, the milktea macarons is a bit like matcha to me which i'm not a fan of. Who doesn't love Daan Go! I was so excited to hear it was opening so close to me in Mississauga!! I tried their macrons. They got flavours like HK milk tea, Vietnamese coffee, pistachio and tiramisu just to name a few. The HK milk tea is my favourite. The shell is chewy with a creamy bold centre. 5/5 I got their Mont Blanc cake for my birthday a couple weeks ago. I love chestnut cakes and I usually just get them from T&T. This chestnut cake is so yummy. It has a crunchy crust on the bottom and very fluffy chestnut cream throughout the cake. But it was a bit too sweet for my liking so 4/5. The Tera and the Tira-Meow-Siu are my favourite pastries creations. The match flavour is really bold in the Tera, perfect for all the match lovers. 5/5 I actually wasn't a fan of the Lucky duck. I found the lemon curd on top to be overpowering when eaten with the pistachio cream on the bottom. 3/5 read more

Daan Go has the cutest desserts and macarons. Each cake slice was around $8. They are a bit on the smaller side. I tried the mont blanc, durian, and 3:15 cakes. I thought the Mont blanc was a tad bit sweet, but the other two slices were good! My favourite was the durian, in terms of how strong the durian flavour is, I'd say its medium as its mixed with cream layers. I found it to be expensive but commend them for making asian inspired and interesting flavours. I heard they have ice cream now so I definitely want to try that next! read more

This place Is a must! The macaron were soo good and they taste what they are supposed too (ex. Passion fruit one tasted exactly like a passion fruit) they are also really cute. I have always wanted to try Daan Go but never drove to the Scarborough location. So, I got so excited when I knew it opened in Mississauga. I got their famous 3:15 cake, 24k Mango cheesecake, Firma and macarons. The 3:15 cake is excellent, with a rich milk tea flavour, so it is definitely a must buy for milk tea lovers. The Mango cheesecake was refreshing. Firma - the presentation was great. I purchased it for my nephew and he loved it until he tasted a durian flavour towards the bottom. The rest of the adults tried it and also tasted a hint of durian. It certainly wasn't a pleasant combination, so we ended up throwing away the cake. The last part - macarons - it's cute and tastes alright. I left the same review on Google and they deleted it without ever replying me. read more

I've honestly never reached another sweets spot that hits the same way that Daan Go does. Hands down one of the best bakeries out here in Sauga and I am very glad to say so. A bunch of parking in the front and around the plaza, and suuuper accessible. First, I don't know exactly what else they put in their Viet Coffee Tiramisu cakes but I swear to God, I literally SALIVATE at the thought of taking a bite of it. It's THAT good. Matcha crepe cake is also pretty good as well and I liked the HK milk tea flavour: which is a good sign since I tend to be on the pickier side when it comes to sweets. I also just love how great the ambiance is when you walk in, and how cute all the macaron characters and decorations they have up are. It's kinda even embarrassing that a male post-college grad guy like me gets giddy and giggly seeing all the little animals and characters. The girls that run the store are also really kind and accommodating, which makes me feel welcome to come on into the store. It's always nice to see such friendly faces. Also shoutout to that girl with the red hair there who took my order the last time I visited, I think her name started with a Y. I don't usually write reviews but this place is amazing! I'm visiting Toronto from Los Angeles and came across this place just 10 minutes away from Toronto airport. The macarons are adorable with lots of options for people who like tea/milk tea flavor desserts. I also got the "Terra" which is a cute little potted plant - the pot is made of chocolate and is filled with matcha mousse layered with other matcha/chocolate flavors, such good matcha flavor and the perfect amount of sweetness! I'm looking forward to coming back Toronto to try more!! read more
