We tried the steak and kidney, steak and ale, and beef sausage rolls. On the plus side the pies were well seasoned and tasty. Pastry for the pies and sausage rolls was perfect. Slightly crispy, not doughy. On the negative side one could hope for a more generous filling. Overall we found the pies a little dry. Will buy gravy next time. The beef sausage rolls were just bland tasting. Pastry was excellent though. Perhaps the pork would be a better choice? Despite our minor criticism we look forward to trying the other pies available. Establishment clean (new), staff friendly. Only wish - to have a store closer to Scarborough west.

In the box was: White Chocolate Peach Mousse Fruit Tart Coconut Exotic Fruit Pistachio Mousse Raspberry Mousse Log Cake Aesthetically, all the pastries looked amazing! I felt bad cutting them to take a bite! My favourite is the Coconut Exotic Fruit. All the layers tied nicely together and tasted really good! The fruit tart was also good. Im not the biggest fan of peach but it was not bad as well. The Raspberry Mousse Cake was well balanced and not too sweet or tart. Sadly to say the Pistachio Mousse that was shaped as a cute Christmas tree was my least favourite. As this was a gift, I did not visit the location in person or know the price, but I do want to eat other selection of pastries and cakes if I get the chance!

My total for four stunning pastries came to $34.00, but I left feeling that the splurge was well worth it for the quality and complexity of the flavors. The selection inside was almost overwhelming... a sensory overload of vibrant colours, making me want to try absolutely everything!!!!! The Strawberry was the standout star, delivering a bright, nostalgic taste that was pure Strawberry Shortcake perfection. I was equally impressed with the richness of the Dark Chocolate Espresso pastry, a deep, satisfying choice. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff was very efficient with keeping the line moving quickly. While I noticed some seating, I was so focused on the sweet goodies that I barely registered the environment. I'm already planning my next trip! A crucial heads-up, however: the pastries I enjoyed all feature a light, airy mousse filling. If that texture or lightness isn't to your taste, you might want to skip

We sat down at one of eight tables before I went up to the counter to place our order. The cashier began entering the order into the cash register beginning with the drinks, followed by the desert selections.... Big mistake! I should have asked my parents to look over the pastry displays and select what they wanted first, before ordering. Embarrassingly, after about 3 long minutes of them walking back & forth viewing each of the pastry displays, the cashier received our picks and then she was able to finalized the payment. Fresh desserts for a reasonable price. (btw, there is no special discount if you order large quantities of an item). The coffee brew was strong the way I like it, but way too strong for my parents. I had to ask our server to dilute it by adding 50% more hot water to their cups. Friendly service. No Wi-Fi. I will definitely come back to pick up other desserts and try their hot sandwiches.

The coffee is self-served in a corner of the store by the front door, but you pay at the register. There are also two chairs by the front window but the overall space in the bakery is quite small so I wouldn't imagine a lot of customers staying to enjoy their drinks and baked goods there. We also got a latte and they offered to add cinnamon on top which was a nice touch. We also got the ham and cheese croissant which was good, but I wouldn't say that it's the best croissant ever.
