PannTea is probably the cheapest boba around. Their special is like $4 which is a regular milk tea with boba, are you kidding me? Converting to USD with tip is still cheaper than any boba at regular price (before tax and tip). Fast service and restrooms available. Pu'er Milk Tea - at this price it's a steal. Combined with the fact that it actually tastes fantastic? I'd be buying boba everyday if I lived closer. Boba is slightly on the firmer side but it's still chewy plus flavorful (you can tell the sweet flavor by the brown sugar markings on the cup)! Tea was strongly present while also having a creamy after taste. Top tier boba at an affordable price, highly recommended.
I love them. I've been going for years. Their Mango smoothie is my go-to summer drink everytime I need a pick me up. Their cream bulee milk tea with the cake on top is also incredible. Their Boba texture is unbeatable. The service is good. I love collecting the points. Also love the cute little shop vibes. I love the little trinkets they have all around.
Cute little bubble tea shop located in the Milliken Crossing plaza. They have a nice variety of classic and unique milk teas and drinks to choose from. The staff were very patient in explaining some of their more unique drinks as it was our first time there. We ended up getting the white rabbit milk tea and the Oreo cheese foam milk tea. Both tasted delicious but I was really surprised at how much the white rabbit milk tea actually tasted like the nostalgic candy. The staff advised they actually use white rabbit candy in the drink to sweeten it so I was happy to hear that the candy was actually incorporated into their drink! Will definitely come back to try their other unique drinks!
Last Wednesday, I was heading over to Little Caesars to pick up dinner. I was driving westbound along Steeles Avenue East. Due to construction, it took me twenty minutes from Ninth Line to nearly Markham Road. I was hungry. I also needed to get some bubble tea. What's the closest place? It was a tossup between PannTea and CoCo. I went with the former. I have avoided coming here, not so much for the quality, but for the name. Ever since I read Jennifer P's review a while back that when you say the name, it sounds like panty, I chuckle and laugh uncontrollably. I knew that I couldn't contain my laughter walking into a business whose name makes me giggle like a little girl. I am the same way with TP Tea. In my mind, TP stands for Toilet Paper. I haven't bought anything there, either. We are in a pandemic. We wear masks. I can laugh behind mine. Yay! I ordered through my Uber Eats app. I got the following drinks: - Supreme fruit tea - Peach oolong tea You can't customize anything in your drinks on Uber Eats. I only got options for specifying a hot or cold drink. Both of mine were cold. I just hoped that they weren't overly sweet. After picking up my pizza takeout, I drove over to PannTea. There was plenty of parking and backed into a spot. I used to frequent this area often over a decade ago. Since my old hangout for pho and T&T Supermarket folded, I rarely hit this corner of the plaza. My order was ready when I had parked. I was thrilled. I walked in and a woman said hi. She was busy working on a drink. I found out a minute later that it was for my order. I saw a second room at the back of the place. I'll need to take a look the next time that I'm there. I was too hungry to check it out. I did like the towel crepe cakes that were displayed. I'll need to get one. They weren't on the app. I thanked the woman for my drinks and headed out the door. I drove home to chow down and enjoy one of my drinks immediately. I liked that each drink was packed in its own slim plastic bag. I suppose that buying single drinks are the usual here. The beverage menu is interesting. There aren't any sizes posted. My peach oolong tea was the equivalent of a large that you get at most bubble tea places. My supreme fruit tea was humungous. If you've ever ordered from Presotea and you get a large, it's that size here. Massive! I had the supreme fruit tea. It has lemon and lime slices with their peel. It's a drink that you need to consume immediately, as having citrus with the peel makes the drink bitter over time. I thoroughly enjoyed this drink. It surprisingly works well with gorging on pizza that does not have any vegetables on it! The drink wasn't overly sweet. It had passion fruit, lemon, lime, pineapple, and watermelon. It was so good. I thought that I couldn't finish it all at first, but I did. It was refreshing and I felt like I had satisfied my daily fruit intake. The downside was how tight the lid was to pop off to get to the fruit. I swear that it took me six tries to get the Mary-proof lid off this cup. OMG! I felt like I needed the jaws of life to get to the fruit at one stage. I had the peach oolong tea the following day. So good! It had a touch of sweetness, which works for me. I loved the peach flavour with the delicious oolong. I am a fan. Someday, I hope to stop laughing at the name whenever I say it. I will return to try more drinks, check out that elusive room at the back, and get a towel crepe cake. (347)
I was passing by PannTea (on my way to get Vietnamese desserts) and after chuckling at their name I decided to try one of their drinks: fruit tea. It quenched my thirst on a hot summer day. DELIVERY OPTIONS - They're on Door Dash, Fantuan, UberEats and SkipTheDishes. Ordering delivery is simple and rewarding. How does PannTea compare to the more popular CoCo Tea chain? PannTea's pricier than CoCo Tea. Expect to spend $40-$50 for 1 towel crepe and 2 drinks. Don't forget to tip! Closer to Middlefield Road at the other end of the plaza is a very popular chain called CoCo Tea. It's a global sensation since 1997 with stores open in Taiwan, China, USA, Southeast Asia, Canada and Australia. PannTea's large size smoothies are around $7 each, milkshakes $8, flavoured milk teas $6 each, you can buy 2 drinks at CoCo Tea for the price of 1 drink at PannTea. Popular drinks on PannTea's menu include the supreme fruit tea ($8) and the crème brûlée cake milk tea ($7). CoCo Tea has a lower price and always seems to have a regular stream of customers. CoCo Tea has monthly promos and this month it's their Banana series where you get a LARGE SMOOTHIE for just $3.99! You can see why it's very popular in the neighborhood.
Location/Service This place is located near the intersection of Middlefield and Steeles. It's within a big plaza that has a Shoppers Drug Mart, a Chinese grocery and a few restaurants like Jajutak. Plenty of parking available, although it's quite a busy plaza. The place has a pretty visible sign near the back of the plaza. Social distancing measurements are in place - with no indoor dining at the moment i went. I like the little decorations they have set up around the store, very photo/IG friendly. Staff was nice - although I felt they're not too fluent in English. Order was efficiency and ready in a short time, even when I was informed it would be a few minutes. Dessert This place seems to be know more for their different types of teas and smoothies. But they also do soft serve ice cream - and I was particularly drawn to a Durian Soft Serve! As a durian fan, i had to try and assess. The durian soft serve was overall okay - the hint of durian is definitely there, but not as strong as other places I've tried. It was still smooth for soft serve, no ice-y chunks. I did enjoy how they have added extra ingredient like cornflakes, a little bit of cream to blend up the whole thing - making is like a sundae/parfait. This was a great treat on a hot summer day. Would be interested to come back and try their drinks next time!
It was our first visit and we loved it! We ordered the matcha towel crepe cake and the creme brulee bubble tea. The crepe had custard cream in it so a bit sweet but it balanced the matcha powder nicely. My husband is a huge matcha fan and liked it. He already asked to go back for another piece this weekend! The drink was a tad sweet but I didn't mind it. It had chunks of creme brulee pudding and cream....every slurp was tasty. I was most surprised by their tapioca. They were tiny, fresh and chewy! $20 well spent!
First time going to this cute shop. They sell drinks as well as a small selection of desserts. The shop itself is pretty decently sized as it extends in the back. However, due to covid we can't sit down inside. We came here for the matcha towel cake, which you need to order at least 24hrs in advance for. Because we ordered ahead, we didn't have to wait long. The cake itself reminds me of a mille crepe, but the cream inside is so much tastier and the cake layers are thicker. The cake part was soft and moist. There is matcha dusted on the outside, which some may find a little bitter. I drink matcha all the time, so I'm very familiar with the taste and it didn't bother me. Plus, when you eat it with the cream and cake, everything goes so well together. Overall verdict, I would come back to try their other desserts and their drinks! I've been eyeing their creme brûlée cake milk tea or matcha milk shake. Side note, the customer service is really great! They took the time to ask us for our feed back on the matcha towel cake and really showed how much they care about getting it right for their customers.
I tried this bubble tea place recently and saw that they have a white rabbit milk tea. Growing up, white rabbit was one of my favourite milk tea and many white rabbit flavoured dessert never taste like the original candy! However, this milk tea taste very similar! It was super creamy and not too sweet! However the tapioca was super sweet and a little too soft. Other than that, I would definitely come back again!
My mom and I got some bubble teas here and they were fantastic! The store was big and clean with lots of seating, and the man serving us was extra nice. I got the special which was the Pu'er Milk Tea. The large is usually $5.90, but it was on special for $3.90 (the medium was on special for $2.90). I added tapioca for an additional $0.50. I got it 30% sweet and 100% ice and it was perfect for me, as I don't like overly sweet drinks. The milk tea was so rich and creamy, maybe a bit too rich for my tastes, lol. It had a strong potent tea flavour which I enjoyed. The tapioca were a bit smaller than at other places, but they were soft and chewy just the way I like them. With the discount this was a great deal. My mom got the Taro Smoothie, which only comes in large and I don't think you can customize the sweetness (as they didn't ask). The Taro Smoothie is $6.80 and includes one topping, but my mom wanted two toppings so she paid an extra $0.50 and she got both tapioca and red beans. Her drink was very photogenic. It was topped with whipped cream and had a sprinkling of something green, sweet and crunchy (I think it was brûlée pieces, not sure why they were green, maybe pistachio or matcha flavoured? It was hard to tell, tasted mostly of sugar to me). She loved her drink. I had a sip and thought it was delicious in terms of flavour, but much too sweet for me. The store is very spacious with lots of tables and seats. It's clean and brightly lit. They have some huge stuffed animals at the front. The man serving us was very friendly. As we were leaving we thanked him and he stopped us to give us a free Pann Tea reusable bag :) The store is in a strip mall. Same strip mall as Field Fresh Grocery, Wonton Time, and Nguyen Huong (the famous banh mi place). Lots of free parking, but the parking lot is a bit of a zoo on weekends. Oh, and just a funny aside: so I learned about this place on Yelp and I've seen and read the name many times but I never actually said the name out loud until the day I went when I told my mom "Let's go to Pann Tea." It was then that it occured to me that the name sounds like "Panty" and now my mom and I refer to it as the "underwear bubble tea place." Five stars for delicious bubble tea, nice decor, friendly service, and a name that gave my mom and I a chuckle ;)
On my quest to check out all the bubble tea shops that Toronto has to offer, I've decided to check out PannTea after seeing many of their photos on social media. It's located at the plaza around Steeles/Middlefield, which is an area that I don't normally visit, and I was glad I took the trip to visit PannTea. I really like the Supreme Fruit Tea that I got, and I heard from the owner that they use fresh oranges, pineapple and other fresh fruits for my fruit teas. My boyfriend tried the Creme Brulee Cake Milk Tea recommended by the owner and it was really amazing as well -- you get a slice of cake in the drink! Like how awesome is that?! Since the space was so nice with the cute stuffed animals we decided to stay a bit longer and try out their desserts as well. The Matcha Towel Cake was definitely the most unique dessert there, and if you love a strong matcha taste, this is the cake for you! The Creme Brulee and Custard Puddings that we also tried were pretty good as well. From my experience, I can really tell that the owner of PannTea really value providing good quality teas and desserts to her customers, and the teas she recommended were all really good.
The owners of this bubble tea shop really went to lengths to make the shop clean, modern and appealing. It take says a lot when they even put in the effort to make their washrooms nice and clean. Not many bubble tea places take that kind of care. They are a small business and I get that vibe when I go there. Their drinks are good, though what really blew me away was there creme brulee. Bubble tea has already become a fairly saturated market in my area so I was intrigued when this new competitor decided to show up late to the scene. Brand-wise, they've got no leverage but location-wise, they strategically positioned themselves just far away enough from bbt giants that they might be considered a first choice for those living closer by. I tried this place out last week and ordered 2 royal milk teas with tapioca, one with an oolong tea base and the other with a green tea base. To my surprise, this brand had a very distinct and unique flavour to their milk teas. Unlike any of the 15+ other brands I've tried, PannTea seems to place a heavy emphasis on a smooth, creamy and milky taste which may or may not be a good thing depending on personal taste buds. Personally, I didn't mind it but I was bummed that both of the teas weren't flavourful enough. If anything, the green tea was better than the oolong tea as it was less watered down. Another noteworthy thing is that their tapioca is inherently sweet and is likely infused with brown sugar. I ordered my drink at 30% sugar and it was still fairly sweet. They also have an e-mail rewards program wherein for every $1 you spend, you get 1 point. The prices across the menu aren't cheap so you're looking at about 1 free drink every 8 paid drinks. Perhaps the fruit teas here are better liked but overall, I wouldn't peg this as my top milk tea brand. Maybe I'll come back another time to try the fruit teas. read more
Hadn't been here in a while. Thanks to my bestie telling me that they have a special going on now where you can get a free towel dog with $15 purchase, I decided to pay a visit. I got the Creme Brûlée milk tea with 30% sugar and 50% ice and it was the perfect sweetness for me. I asked for no whipped cream, so it basically tasted like a milk tea with pudding. The milk tea was smooth and not too sweet, so when paired with the sweet pudding it was perfect. I also got the Supreme Fruit tea and it was refreshing. I'll come back for sure if I'm ever in the area again. read more

Like most ppl said this is one of the best bubble tea place in Scarborough. I should give it a try earlier. Actually I ordered thru app a pudding w/cheesecake but they're sold out so they gave me 2 creme brûlée instead (driver texted me for approval) hubby think the pudding inside his drink is too soft so will try something else next time. But the bubble in my patisserie is very good. Only con is a bit too sweet for me although I already ordered 80% sugar. U can taste tea itself in each drink, that's quite hard to find in other stores. Since my office is just nearby, so I will order more in the future. read more
Want to take pictures with huge bears? have 2 friendly giant Brown security guards and a pegga pig. Very cute bubble tea places and some desserts are also available as well. Nice to hangout and chill and also take pictures of. . They also have a variety of beautiful drinks to choose from. Cute little place near the edge of Scarborough on Middlefield and the south side of Steeles. My friends were here studying for 7-8 hours with one of their drinks and desserts each. They have a smart TV at the back that you connect to and watch whatever you want, while you chill alone or with your friends. Prices are decent as they average about $6.80 for a large. I had the Kiwi fruit slush and it was so good!! Best part was that they gave out biodegradable cups to their first few customers yesterday!! I love places that are environmentally conscious. If they can replace all of their plastic usage then I would give them a 5*. Good friendly service in both English and Chinese! They can recommend items based on your preference. I really like the fact that they have plugs at the back and you can stay there for as long as you like, if it is not too busy. read more
I highly recommend the Crème Brûlée Cake Milk Tea, it has a very unique creamy and silky tea flavour thats different from any other bubble tea i've had. The combination of whipped cream, crème brûlée and a piece of cake that all slowly melts into the tea makes this drink taste like a liquid cake! I added tapioca pearls and they were bouncy and chewy but they were the smaller pearls which I don't like. A drink I wouldn't recommend is the Crème Brulée Matcha. I was really disappointed because this tasted very diluted, like water & a little bit of matcha flavour. The prices here are also more expensive, drinks are around $7-8 after tax. read more

Went to try their matcha towel cake after seeing it featured in BlogTO. Very very disappointed as the crepe tasted stale. I expected it to be very soft and slightly chewy. Nope, stale crepe is what I got. I really question BlogTO's recommendations now. read more

Wow! PannTea, where have you been all my life? We ordered the Yakult Passionfruit Tea with coconut jelly and an Oolong milk tea with agar and coconut jelly. The fruit juice drink was good ( a tad too sweet for my liking) but I'm a big fan of real passion fruit pulp in my drinks! The Oolong tea is to-die-for! I don't think I've ever drank a bbt this fast. Both drinks--size large and with toppings--came out to only $10.00 (unheard of). Did I mention this is the cutest cafe I've ever been to? It's definitely the perfect place to catchup with your significant other or your friends. It would also be a good place to work/study, as there is plenty of tables and seats. Just like this, with one visit, I'm ranking PannTea as one of my favourite BBT spots in the GTA. Can't wait to try more flavours! read more
I personally had a great time here. Friends and I bought our drinks and literally had a 4 hour catch up session. The staff were very nice and friendly. I ordered the cocoa drink and that's exactly how it tasted. The drink was totally ok and I'd probably come back to try the rest. I'm not a huge bbt/fruit tea guy but I don't mind trying more :) Really enjoyed my stay, as it was relaxing and had the right ambience. read more

Spacious and clean bubble tea place located in this plaza next to field fresh supermarket. It's not busy at all on a Saturday afternoon. Franchise from China and they have other locations in the States, Asia and etc. Ordered Patisserie milk tea with light ice and half sugar, still too sweet and you can taste the artificial "cake" flavour. Can't taste too much of the tea and the tapioca is a bit smaller than the usual size. The drink only came in one size and in my opinion $6.50 is a bit overpriced. Love this place! I tried a drink and haven't been able to try anything else as I'm hooked on my first choice! Creme brûlée cake milk tea! Yum! The designs they have on the cup made with creme brûlée super cute. Filled with milk tea. Topped with whipped cream and a creme brûlée square! They have a special if you spend more than $15 u get a free gift! First gift was a children's cutlery set, second gift I got was a travel cup! Both very cute items. Enjoy! read more

This place is super cute and nice to have the option for bubble tea in a busy plaza. We received a free gift for our purchase (which was a nice surprise to us since I didn't read the sign). The cups were strong and sturdy. I appreciate the large stuffed animals since it makes the visit fun for little kids. The flavours of our drinks were good. The cheesecake/pudding was okay, it was more pudding than cheesecake. I would have preferred more of the cheesecake consistency to make it more wholesome. We would definitely return to try more drinks. My only suggestion is to perhaps make the menu more easy to read, and less overwhelming. Aside from the menu on the wall, there were multiple pieces of paper with various additional menu items. It can be confusing for a first time customer to figure out what to order. read more

Upon coming into the store the staff was very friendly and was quick to recommend a drink based on what my preferences were. They recommended the Creme Brulee Cake Milk Tea with Tapioca, which was one of my favourite bubble tea drinks I've ever had! I also tried the Creme Brulee dessert which was also very tasty (and the sugar cracked on top which is oh so important!). Overall would strongly recommend this place! read more
NOT GOOD overall the bubble tea was okay. The milk tea was good but the tapioca was too soft and small for my personal liking. But the main problem I have with this place is how it is a terrible place to study where the employees don't care about what they're doing. I was there for 5 hours because I needed someone to pick me up after, but otherwise I would've left immediately to go somewhere else. I went on a Tuesday during the day and I was the only customer there. I sat in the back area with tall tables which was decent seating, but the area had such a strange stench that does not go away. On top of that, one of the employees was bored so they started watching videos OUT LOUD when it was very very clear that I came into the store with my backpack to study. Considering I was there only customer, you would think that they would want to care and be considerate to get more repeated business, but that was definitely not the case. I will not be returning here again for high price drinks and subpar service read more

The interior of PannTea is beautiful. There is mural on the wall and it has a calm and cozy vibe. The plants at the back need watering though not that it's a big deal. The area is clean and there are quite a lot of seats. They don't play music there so it can be good or bad depending on you. I ordered the panda milk tea but instead of the usual black and white tapioca there was the black tapioca and some type of jelly that I'm not sure what it was. But I wasn't a big fan. The tapioca was on the firmer side. It had the texture of little squid. The taste wasn't bad though. They also have fish balls in curry which they microwave before they serve it also comes to about $1 a piece which is overpriced. Most of all other drinks are $6. One thing I really like are the cups. It is such good quality. The service was good. The owner was very friendly. read more

Ordered the creme brûlée matcha... which wasn't what I was expecting. I paid 7.35 for something very basic. Not sure if it is just a thing in Toronto but bubble tea seems way to pricey here for something so basic. I barely got any creme brûlée added to my drink there was just a tiny little bit on the top. I also got it at 50% sweetness but it was wayyy too sweet. There are much better bubble tea spots around. read more

Happened to be in the plaza for lunch on the weekend and decided to give this place a try! Cute, clean interior- they also provide a few stuffed animals for your IG backdrop. I ordered the mango smoothie and was told that is different from other places because they make it with milk and top it off with whipped cream and chopped mango. I decided to forgo the whipped cream as I personally don't like it. The drink only comes in one size which is basically a large at other chains. This also meant it was on the pricier side coming out to about $7 after tax. Something to look out for if you're not looking for such a big drink or to spend so much. The drink tasted ok, nothing too special basically like a bland mango lassi. The ice was also not grinded very well so there were many ice chunks. This seems to be one of the higher end bubble tea shops. The service was phenomenal and the cashier took the time to explain different drinks that are offered and which she likes the best (granted we were the only ones there) Their drinks remind me of drinks of LaTea in Scarborough with their stylish lids and large variety of drinks. I only tried the Patisserie Bubble Milk Tea with 0% ice and 80%, but it was perfectly sweet and their pearls were satisfyingly chewy. Their wifi is still in the process of working, but they let you connect to their own instead of the guest wifi (you just need to ask for their wifi password). I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at this bubble tea shop. read more

We ordered the Supreme Fruit Series and you have the option between sweet or sour. The drink was nice and refreshing compared to the usual milk tea. We will be back to try their other drinks. read more

This is my favourite milk tea spot, it's not busy and the milk tea is delicious. It has a strong tea flavour and the tapioca has a nice chew. This is about the 10th time I've been here and I need to post this review to support this business. They take a little longer to make the tea but it's so worth it! Spotted this place when I was about to go to the banh mi joint. It's great to see a bubble tea joint in this strip mall since there isn't any Starbucks or bubble tea within a 20-meters radius. The décor is modern, simple and there are lots of seating. Their menu has a wide selection: tea, coffee, smoothies, fruit tea, dessert and snacks. The staff was very friendly and I got what he suggested: Jasmine green tea with cheese cream. The tea was good, and the cheese cream was superb. It's rich, smooth and cheesy. The plastic cup is sturdy and it's come with lid instead of plastic seal. I will definitely be coming back! read more

New bbt shop in the markham/scarborough area! As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with bright ambience with very nice decor. Great place to meet up with friends. They have more seating space in the back of the shop. Their drinks are decent and very unique. So next time if you're looking for a nice hang out spot other than your typical chatime, the alley & etc., Panntea is worth a try! read more

This weekend at the soft opening the promotion was BOGO for all drinks. We ordered the Royal Milk Oolong Tea (one with tapioca and the other with red bean). It tasted great, but I don't think there was an option to customize ice and sugar levels. Most drinks were priced around $6 and the drinks are one-size only (like your regular large cups at other bubble tea chains). The cups were super cute! The interior was quite nice. Would come again to try other flavours. read more

I got the peach oolong tea with cream cheese topping and it was the most flavourful cheese topping I had. The cheese was sweeter and cheesier than Coco and happy lemon. Prices are also fair. Next time I'll try the salted milk topping. read more
