A really nice tea shop! Was not expecting to find a gem like this just around the corner from where we were for dinner! After we parked and we were on the way to get dinner, we saw this shop in passing and decided we would go in to take a look after dinner. It had a lovely aroma when we walked in of peach tea and we decided to order. I got a Peach Oolong tea, which was lightly peachy and traditional oolong flavor. Loved it. My fiance got the apple crisp tea, which had bits of apple and tasted kind of like apple juice to me. Love that too. Definitely coming back if in the area!
Comebuy will be making me come by for their bubble tea again, and here's why. They offer a variety of Taiwanese falvoured drink with a wide selection of tea leaves to choose from. For me, the drink itself is about 4/5 (barley milk tea), but my overall experience is what brings this up to a 5. When I walked in, I was greeted with the staff there who were very friendly. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I had stepped aside to look at the menu. They noticed and didn't pressure me in taking my order, but instead asked if I had any questions and had let me smell the tea leaves. For a more upscale bubble tea store, I appreciated that very much. I ended up getting the barley milk tea, and the flavour did not disappoint. The barley taste definitely came through, and it wasn't too sweet. Note: for sweetness level, get one lower than what you normally get. Trust me :) Overall I would come back when I'm in the area and craving for bubble tea to try other drinks. The only negative is that I wished they had barley as a topping, but overall the topping upcharge is pretty expensive than average. But recommend to give this place a try!
The bubble tea at Comebuy is a must try in the GTA. This is my third visit to this shop and I've had great drinks every single time. They follow necessary safety COVID precautions and has a very clean and beautiful interior. Their service was also very friendly and has been in previous orders. My order: bubble milk tea, 30% sugar and less ice. This is my go to order as I love the strong tea flavour. They use Ceylon tea as the tea base which is unique and makes Comebuy stand out as a bubble tea store. The tapioca was chewy, not too sweet and mixes well with the tea. I was extremely satisfied with my drink and would definitely come back for the same drink or to try another drink. I've previously tried crystal jelly as a topping and although i still prefer tapioca, I recommend trying it as it offered similar textures as tapioca and as an alternative (or complement) to tapioca.
I was pleasantly surprised by the drinks at Comebuy and I definitely will come by again! (Lame joke, I know. I'm sorry XD). These days, a new bubbletea shop opens every week but I'm definitely not complaining. I had briefly seen some posts on Insta about Comebuy and by chance, my cousins and I (who were visiting from out of town) were searching for places close by and landed on Comebuy BBT. The BBT shop is located in the new Downtown Markham right off of Birchmount in one of the storefronts below one of the new condos. It wasn't hard to find and we just parked on the street. Upon entry, there were a few people but seating blocked off due to COVID. they were fairly spaced out and the space was very clean looking. I could see myself hanging out here for bbt with friends easily. The menu itself wasn't too large but I believe too many options means it's harder to come out all good drinks. I was happy to peruse and settle upon the lychee delight. My cousins went with their two house milk teas. Service was average with about a 10 min wait as it got really busy as we arrived. The staff were super kind and got our drinks as soon as possible. First sip, was delicious! I really enjoyed the lychee flavour and it was super refreshing. Everything I was hoping for. My cousins really enjoyed their milk teas and said it was just strong enough with tea flavour and the toppings were cooked perfectly. All in all, we were happy with our pick and I would definitely come back to try more flavours.
I love the Taiwanese tea here, it's so authentic The place is clean, bright, and efficient. This one one of the best Taiwanese bubble tea places in Markham-Thornhill area, will definitely come back
I have now come by Comebuy three times to come buy bubble tea. I am now coming by the review corner to review Comebuy. Here's the funny thing. For a month, I have been getting food from Poke Boys. I have parked my car in front of Comebuy each time and never dropped in. I found this bubble tea place on Ritual and I am hooked. I believe that this Comebuy is the only location in the GTA. It's in the heart of downtown Markham (it is still odd to me that Markham has a downtown area now, but it works). All three times, I have ordered through the Ritual app. The first time, I got the iced peach oolong tea. It automatically comes with coconut jelly. Sign me up! It has everything that I love. I typically get my drinks with no sugar and a bit of ice. Even when I ask for no sugar at most places, I can still taste sugar. At Comebuy, when you specify no sugar, this place takes your request seriously. I tasted the natural peach oolong tea without the sugar. So good and refreshing! The coconut jelly isn't overly sweet, either. It is my jam. The last two times, I have ordered the iced chocolate latte. It has dairy, but not a whole lot. I also get it with no sugar and a bit of ice. I love it so much. It's chocolaty without a ton of sugar. Drinks are prepared fast here. As soon as I order on the Ritual app, it's ready for pickup in three minutes. It's almost as if I should park my car steps away from the store, place the order on my app, and walk in. Staff are friendly. The first time, I was taking photos inside like a tourist, but the woman didn't mind. It's pretty inside. I like how minimalistic and modern everything is, from the signage, to the tables and chairs. Everyone says hi behind their masks. They take cleanliness seriously and I feel safe coming into the store to pick up my order. I feel bad for Chatime across the street. Ever since I have found Comebuy, I haven't been back to Chatime. I learned that Comebuy means cheers or happy moments, depending on the language. I just like coming by Comebuy to buy bubble tea that tastes delicious and satisfies my bubble tea habit. (156)
I've come here every time when I had a bad day and recently work is v stressful. I've tried roselle lemonade, neptune, neptune milk tea, and osmanthus green milk tea. Yum. Service is great. I was texting and Jenny, the cashier, brought my drink to me. So nice :') also I love the aesthetic here. There's dark spots and bright spots by the window to suit every mood. There's outlets everywhere and the wifi is one u gotta input every time you come in so there aren't dead devices taking up its memory. Neptune milk tea is my ultimate favourite: robust but milky, 30% sugar drinkable hot is the ideal combo. It rejuvenates my soul and I thought I reached nirvana every time I had it. Osmanthus green milk tea is floral and not v sweet. I had it half sugar. It already has honey so it's nice. It makes me feel like a princess with every sip :) I love that it's close enough to be worth the trip but far enough from work. And after a bbt, you can hang out in DT Markham. :)
Hands down my favourite bubble tea place. I'm so glad I found this place. I usually don't drink bubble tea, but was visiting my friend who owns the art center next door... and had to try. What I love about this tea shop is that the tastes of the tea is so strong and flavourful that it surpasses any "Alley" or "Chatime" teas. (**sorry**) They brew the tea via espresso machine with tea bags, so each cup is made to perfection. I usually go for their COMEBUY Original Bubble Milk Tea, which comes with soft chewy tapioca and the crystal jelly. The combination is super magically and blends well. Highly recommend this place!
Was hoping to try a brand new bubble tea place in Markham, and came here based on the reviews! I wasn't too sure what to go for, so I asked the cashier what she would recommend: - come buy original bubble milk tea (comes with pearls and crystal jelly) - the crystal jelly was interesting.. - iced peach oolong tea, with added coconut jelly Overall I would say the drinks are not too special, the tea flavour just wasn't strong enough for me... maybe I was missing the sugar since I normally get 0-30% sugar, but this shouldn't really change how strong the tea was...
I came to this place after reading the Great Yelp reviews. The ambiance is nice but they not longer have dine in seating. The girl was nice enough to ask if we had any questions and allow us to smell the different kinds of tea. I wanted to get the original milk tea as it is one of the top 10 most popular drinks and I felt like it was a little lacklustre? My impression from the reviews is that the tea would be very tea forward but for me the aroma was just not there. My boyfriend had the Neptune milk tea and that was much bolder and more interesting with very floral notes. Overall for my drink Aiyu Jelly - 4/5 Milk tea - 3.5/5 Bubbles - 3.5/5 Would want to come back and try again, but this joint definitely didn't knock me off my socks.
Love coming here for their milk teas! My top 3: - HK Milk Tea - Neptune Milk Tea - Passion Blast
I always want to like comebuy's drinks which is why I keep coming back as I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Their staff is extremely nice and friendly but it ultimately has to be their product that keeps me coming back. However My last visit was the last straw for me, ordered the rose lemonade... not good.. the flavours was kinda flat and on the sweet side. I tried to like it but my husband said it tasted like soap and he's not wrong... I think their drinks just don't suit my taste.
ComeBuy is located in the heart of Downtown Markham. I've been here before for their Neptune Tea. I've never found a place that makes a similar tea as its TASTE is very distinct and FLORAL. I was a little upset to see that they use milk powder instead of fresh milk but I think most bubble tea shops only use fresh milk in their lattes. I would say this bubble tea is not the BEST but it's still average considering it's price I typically get 30% sugar which is the perfect amount of sweetness for me. Captured in the Picture: Jasmine Green Milk Tea (7.5/10) Iced Herb Jelly Milk Tea (7.0/10)

Came here to study for a few hours. I got the jasmine green milk tea with crystal jelly. Drink was good, not super strong in tea flavour but I could taste the jasmine. I think it's a great place to have a bubble tea shop here because I saw crowds of business people coming here during lunch time and high school students afterschool getting drinks. Overall, comfortable seating. read more
Comebuy is my favorite bubble tea spot! I love their milk teas. I always get the Neptune or passion milk tea. Their teas are on the stronger side which I really like. They also brew every cup fresh. They have good amount of seating and WiFi so they make a great study spot! You can also smell the tea leafs before choosing what you want to order if you can't decide. The staff is always very kind greeting you as you walk in and very helpful when answering questions. read more

Location/Service This hidden gem is found along Birchmount Rd, north of Enterprise Rd (underneath the condo complex). Street and underground parking is available (I usually park by the carousels lot). Lovely interior and decor with a few seating arrangements. I like how it's not cluttered and crammed. Also taking advantage of the high ceilings to add nice artwork and lightning to really give a cafe/chill vibe. Excellent service. I've been here a few times and they're always so friendly. I love how they take the time to explain how drinks are made, where they are from and what recommendations to suggest, including sugar/ice levels (especially the owners); can sense that they're actually passionate for the business and concept. Drinks Rose Lemonade - one of my favourites. A hint of rose infused that gives off a very refreshing taste. Lemonade doesn't overpower the overall drink and it comes with basil seeds. Neptune Tea - another refresher that is similar to the Rose Lemonade. But this one uses tea leaves grow and shipped straight from Taiwan (can't remember exact location), but these leaves are their own distribution and not found in other chains/competitors Pineapple Green Tea - this was a seasonal drink that has the right balance of pineapple and green tea. A little bit on the sweeter end, but again, a refreshing drink Been here several times and each experience has been fantastic. Drinks were consistent and love their friendliness and passion. Definitely a hidden gem that hopefully doesn't get too crazy. read more

Huge fan of ComeBuy since trying them in Hong Kong. So excited that they opened near the downtown Markham location. Store is located at the poke guy/TD plaza. Suggest parking at the back, since the store is right outside a fire hydrant. Beware Parking tickets!! Went in around noon. Not too busy. The staffs are super friendly. Not too fluent in english, but very nice. Interior design are simplistic. Black, white and brown theme. Great place to study or mingle with friends. I ordered the Ceylon black Teaccino. Its basically black tea with cream on the top. You can choose jasmine green tea version if you prefer green tea. The drink comes with a strong tea base flavour. The cream is light, not too heavy, not overly thick. Perfect balance between the cream and the tea. I will suggest less sweet if you aint too much of a sweet tooth like me. Overall: 4/5 I saw someone order the rose lemonade. It looks like a pink drink. That will be my next try xD read more

I remember Comebuy from way back when they had a location in that lameoid Queen St West food court at Queen and John! Used to frequent it quite a bit, but I'm glad to say it's actually better than it was back then. Progress is great, right? This place is in one of those new condos popping up all over Markham. It's actually near Downtown Markham, so you can get a tea here and catch a movie afterwards; it's really convenient. There's a parking lot in the back that Google Maps will point you to, it's the same as the one for residents but there's a small area for visitors. Back in the olden times they had lots of standard bubble milk teas and juices, but nowadays they got fresh brewed tea, and cheese foam teas, and weird fancy teas... I think if I had to choose a favourite it'd be the roasted oolong with milk foam, or maybe the Neptune green tea with a bunch of toppings in it. It's really refreshing. The teas here have a pronounced tea flavour, and they aren't too sweet, which is just how I like it. They got crystal boba and agar jelly too, if you're a fan of those. This seems like mostly a takeout joint for the building's residents, nonetheless the service is top notch. There used to be this cute girl there that would explain everything happily, but lately there's this really chipper guy that's always running to the door excitedly whenever a customer shows up to greet them. He's so upbeat, he really makes me laugh lol. I wish boba tea stores all had such friendly service, they're really great here! read more
Reason for Visit: Got the Ritual app and got $10 credit to spend. Decided to give this place a try instead of Chatime. Menu: Didn't pay much attention but I got their standard pearl milk tea with 30% sugar. To my surprise, this place is legit. Thank goodness I came here instead of Chatime. Admittedly, prices are a bit higher than Chatime by ~$1 extra. However, their milk tea tastes smoother and richer. The tapioca was chewy and it even came with aloe which was interesting. Overall, I was quite satisfied and pleased with the bubble tea. Service: The cashier was super friendly and nice. I would say far better customer service than the usual Chatime. Atmosphere: Love their couches and roomy comfy design. Definitely wouldn't mind dropping by to catch up with friends. Overall: Would come back again definitely, especially if they have more promotions. read more
I stumbled into this tea shop during a stroll through downtown Markham (it's by the TD Bank). This place has a lot of natural light and about five tables so could be good for studying/working or chilling with friends. I appreciate the employees taking the time to walk me through pretty much the full menu since I've never been there before. They have various samples of tea leaves out as well so you can smell them to get a better sense of what you do/don't like. I ordered the peach oolong tea. The aroma of the tea was excellent (like wayyy stronger than Chatime tea flavour) and the tapioca was cooked perfectly. I was only disappointed that I was charged an extra $0.50 to swap coconut jelly (that came with the drink) for tapioca (the only topping I like in my bubble tea). They're both regular toppings so not sure why they can't just be switched. The rose lemonade does look good though so I'll probably be back to try that. read more
By now, I thought I would've already tried every single bubble tea chain that Markham has to offer.. but silly me, it appears there really is no stopping this insanely lucrative over-saturated market. Bubble tea chains continue to thrive and grow, and Comebuy is a recent newcomer tucked away in "downtown Markham" that I truly believe has the potential to compete with the veteran chains. Despite the questionable franchise name and lack of real parking (just street side stalling), I was genuinely surprised by how much I liked this place. From the second you walk into the trendy renovated space, you're greeted with smiles from the staff who happily showcase their different teas to you. They don't rush you, they don't give you cut-eye for taking your time.. they're just genuinely nice! The menu offerings are varied and the tea quality is exceptional. As a basic first order, I went with the Comebuy Original Milk Tea and I was delighted by both the flavour of the ceylon milk tea as well as the textural complexity of the mixed tapioca/crystal boba. Now fair enough, I've had crystal boba before at both Chatime Innovation Bar and Prestotea so I reckon this isn't the first franchise to provide this offering but I was really happy that they did have it here. I've also tried the Taiwanese Roasted Oolong Tea which was another thumbs up drink that I'd gladly order again. P.S. They have their own loyalty stamp card for 1 free drink after 10 drink purchases. read more
Kanpai to Comebuy! Great selection of bubble teas. Discovered this shop tonight as we were in the area. The staff here are really helpful and friendly. The prices are reasonable and generous size for only about $6. You can customize the amount of sugar and ice. We got the Passion Blast with tapioca and jelly, Milk tea with tapioca and the Peach Oolong with jelly. All three drinks were perfectly done! Don't forget to ask for their point card 'cause I'm sure you'll come back for more. read more
I have finally "comebuy" this place after passing by it so many time during my drives to Poke Guys, but never bothered to go in until now. It's a small ish bbt cafe tucked away in the plaza across the theatre. The interior looks quite nice with a big black board that shows you how to order the bbt (picking sugar/ice level.toppings etc). I didn't know the hype around the neptune tea so I just got myself a regular matcha tea latte with their tapioca and crystal jelly combo and the bf got a HK style tea with tapioca. The drinks was nothing to write home about although I have missed the taste of good HK style milk tea, but I do have a new found love their crystal jelly for that interesting texture. Overall, it's an ok bbt place. It's interesting that they have a whole bunch of tea options to choose from and you can smell them too to choose what you like. I also saw an option for basil seeds from the pictures here on yelp. It looks interesting and I may try it out next time I go again. The only thing I wish they would change is their points system. All bbt places now have some kind of points system with a card on your phone or just punching in your phone number, but they have it stamped on a physical card that's one stamp per order (no matter how many drinks you order). I'm totally going to forget about this card so I hope they change it soon to a more eco friendly option. read more

Great milk tea that you can customize exactly the way you want - select your tea, have it plain or with milk, adjust sugar level and temperature, and then add toppings! I love that you can smell the tea leaves first to help you decide on your tea. And the fact that red beans are a topping option. I enjoyed my Neptune milk tea, and the Slight Sugar level was the right amount for me. The cafe is a good size with clean and comfortable seating. read more

I personally never heard of this place but I got excited when someone told me it's a chain from Asia. Come Buy tapioca milk tea ($5.7) I will say I was a little disappointed. Went with their recommended Come Buy tapioca milk tea. I assume this is their signature drink but it lacked tea flavour. I wasn't a big fan of the jelly, and the tapioca was mediocre - it was hard and not soft. Quite expensive but the cups are pretty large, would be nice if I could get smaller size. I sampled the Neptune milk tea which was interesting, but again, the tea flavour wasn't too strong. I am curious about their taro latte though, which is made with real taro. ($6.7) read more
The bubble is decent like a bubble tea you would expect at any other place, the freshly steeped tea does make a difference. A lot of places when they pre make their tea, they tend to over steep it and I taste a lot of tannins and that really grinds my gear especially when I ask for zero sugar. The service is what I have to rave about, they get a 5 star mainly for their amazing service! read more
Came in on a Friday at 5 pm. Only 2 other people in the store. Atmosphere is great, it's pretty mellow and quiet so it's a nice place to chat or study! Service is excellent, a guy came up and explained all their specials to us and offered some samples, and was very helpful in recommendations. They even had some tea leaves to smell to give us an idea of how the teapresso tasted. We ended up ordering the Neptune tea and the Taiwan roasted oolong teaccino. Both were very flavourful and had strong tea tastes, and they weren't too sweet. Prices were fairly average, nothing more than many other places like chatime. There's currently a buy one get one 50% special! Will definitely return! read more

The amount of ice if you don't ask for less ice The server is nice and will take lots of time to explain the drink for you which is a good thing, however, last time I waited for 5 mins for them to chat with a customer waiting in front of me. But to be fair, the drinks are pretty good. read more
