Their coffee/espresso is solid here (Hatch beans!), so you know you're getting a good drink. I went for their sea salt cheese foam latte (iced), which was a perfect blend of espresso, milk, & slightly sweet, salty, creamy foam. I also appreciate how there is some seating available (high top table by the front windows, bench seating along one side of the store). It's not the best cafe if you want to work or have a long chat, but it's nice that there's the option to sit and relax instead of just taking your drink to go. I wish the prices of their speciality drinks were slightly less expensive though, because $8 for an iced drink (while delicious & pretty) is a lot to spend. read more

A cute coffee shop in Markham! Hopped in here and loved to see their menu with images that clearly shows you their specialty drinks. I opted for their yuzu matcha latte and iced americano. Both drinks were great and were prepared beautifully. I can't wait to try their jasmine tea latte that is also on their specialty menu item. They have a large bench seating area that is perfect for a quick chit chat/ catch up with friends. Overall, a great spot to check out and I can't wait to be back. read more

This is a great coffee spot in the heart of Markham located in the upper plaza area of Langham Square (the one with the T&T south of Kennedy/Hwy 7). We've been here a handful of times and have generally really enjoyed the drinks and vibes. DRINKS (4/5) They use locally roasted Hatch beans (I believe Supernova) which produces a balanced espresso that pairs well with milk drinks. This most recent time we ordered an Iced Tiramisu Latte and a Banana Dirty. The iced tiramisu latte is topped with a cheese foam and cocoa powder that very much resembles the essence of tiramisu. It is not overpowering and does not detract from the flavour of the coffee. Very safe option especially if you like tiramisu or more chocolatey drinks. The Banana Dirty is a smaller drink that is essentially espresso with homemade banana infused milk. I expected a much punchier drink but the banana was unfortunately quite faint. I wouldn't recommend. Other visits we tried the Dalgona Latte which is topped with chunks of dalgona that add texture and sweetness to the latte. They also have other unique americano-esque drinks that I'd like to try. AMBIENCE (4/5) The interior is nicely decorated with more modern furnishings. It is sadly a smaller space with no true tables that would be good to set up for a long stint of work or study. They have a long banquette along the side with 3 side tables, and a high table by the front door. LOCATION (3/5) Being located in Langham Square it's mostly accessible by car and the parking lot is a bit complicated and congested during peak hours since it's in the same complex as the T&T. OVERALL (4/5) Very solid coffeeshop with some unique menu options that entices you to come back and try. Not a space that is particularly designed for long term study or work. I usually stop by for a drink when I'm in the area to chat with friends and will continue to do so to try cool new drinks! read more

Cute little cafe. Coffee was really good. Seating is very very limited though as the cafe itself isn't very big. There's only one tall table that sits two and a few other small tables. If you're looking for a place to study or work this might not be the spot. However did you just want to grab a good coffee and chat, I would recommend trying them out. We got a Oreo latte and a hot jasmine tea latte. Another time we tried their crème brûlée latte and osmanthus latte. They have a variety of drinks that are different from your normal cafe! read more

Cute cafe in Markham that sells high quality coffee. I like that they source their coffee beans from Hatch which is a local roaster that's also based in Markham. The coffee is very aromatic and has great flavours. The cafe is a few seating spots inside and washroom available for customer use. It's not really suitable for bringing a laptop to work as the cafe is quite small, but you are welcome to sit and chat. The staff is really friendly as well and they're able to accommodate requests to adjust for ice and sugar levels. I am not a fan of their tea lattes however, even though they use high quality ingredients like Hokkusan matcha. I just find the taste to be too light for my preference and I would rather get matcha or hojicha lattes from Roji Monster a few stores down. read more

There is a lot of potential for A Lot Coffee. Menu is fun and innovative with all these unique coffee combinations! On my first visit, I tried the jasmine latte and was in love! The tea to coffee ratio was perfect. I love how strong the jasmine flavour was and it held up well against the coffee. I noticed the barista was measuring components with the scale. However, during the next visit, the jasmine latte was a let down. The jasmine flavour did not shine through and I was confused as to why when baristas measure out the ingredients... Matcha latte and canele were meh. Black pink latte sounded interesting (coffee with strawberry milk) but it tasted like bottled strawberry milk... I'm confident if they used strawberry syrup/puree, it would really elevate the drink. read more

Such a cute cafe with good vibes, seating, and AC. A good place to sit and chat but maybe not for doing work. The staff was super friendly and helped me choose my drinks. The Matcha Yuzu was my favourite - you could actually taste the yuzu! The Tiramisu Latte was slightly sweeter, but honestly was just the right amount of sweet for me. Yuzu Matcha Latte: very unique flavour and you can definitely taste the yuzu. The cream foam on top is also a nice touch. All in all a great drink 4.5/5 Jasmine Tea Latte: 4/5 you can taste the jasmine tea in this which is just a hint and subtle. Would be better if had the cream foam on top. The cafe is really small and there ain't much seating if you're thinking of coming here for a date or hang out with your friends. It's more like you pick up your drink and leave. Service was pretty good. When we went there was just one girl working and she worked really fast because even though there was a line of people before us they all got their drinks in a timely manner and took less of a wait than expected. read more

I stumbled by this coffee shop one afternoon and decided to give it a shot. I ordered the Yuzu Bubble Americano. It was alright as I felt that the 'bubble' in my drink didn't have a strong presence. I believe I saw a soda stream behind the counter. I'm guessing that they had made the carbonated water at an earlier time, so that would be my hypothesis for why my drink fell flat. read more

A very cute cafe space with a good variety of drinks to offer. We came in right at the end of the day so it was empty and there wasn't any pastries left. Service was good, we ordered our drinks and received them promptly afterwards. We ordered the taro ube latte which I believe is currently a seasonal drink. We also ordered the Dalgona latte. Some of the drinks only coming in cold which there is signage for on the menu in store. All the drinks were good. A new cafe popped up in Markham inside the plaza of T&T plaza at Kennedy south of Highway 7. Came here Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. There are a few tables and one high top with two chairs. I liked that the menu was in both English and Chinese. We ordered the Dalgona Latte and it was pretty good. They also sell pastries such as croissants, croffles and a small pastry called cannele. The service was ok. When we had a question about the drinks of which one is better the barista said she didn't know :( So we ordered what we were familiar with rather than try something new. They use beans from Hatch which seems to be a good starter line for new cafes as they explore other roasters. They offer oat, soy and almond alternatives! Overall, the flat white was tasty. I was on the lookout for a new coffee shop to try since the one I had originally planned to go to was closed for today. I came across A Lot Coffee during my Google search and was drawn in by their unique menu items. This coffee shop is located beside (the very busy) Garden Cafe so initially, it was a little difficult to locate - especially since their sign didn't stand out too much. Admittedly, the parking on this plaza is always very chaotic since it is busy but there it is both above ground and underground parking. The coffee shop is a decent size and quite clean from a glance. I love their minimal decor which makes it very cute. They have their menu posted outside/through the window so you can take a peek before entering but they also have large tv screen menus inside as well for easy viewing. Service was short but friendly. We were thanked upon leaving as well. Now on to the drinks... I was feeling for some caffeine so I opted for the OREO LATTE. I love the aesthetic of this drink as we have a beautiful gradient - starting with some Oreo crumbs, then milk, espresso, chocolate whip cream, and finally, topped with mini Oreo cookies. Though it sounds indulgent, this beverage wasn't very heavy and also catered to the Asian tastebuds, being not too sweet. If you're looking for a more unique beverage, they have a YUZU MATCHA LATTE WITH MILK FOAM which my mom ordered. The yuzu notes were evident but balanced well with the matcha. Overall, it was not too sweet so no adjustments needed to my made. The milk foam was a nice touch to contrast the texture of the latte itself. I was also pleased with the fact that there was no grainy texture from the matcha powder at all. All in all, tasty drinks! I'd be interested to try their Tiramisu Latte with Milk Foam next. They also have some bakery items to offer - I saw some canelés, croffles, and croissants. Seating is available but limited - about five parties of two. But three of these are alongside a long bench so you could potentially seat more there. read more

I've had A Lot Coffee bookmarked for a while and had hopes for it, but the coffee (ironically, a flat white) fell a little flat for me. It was just OK. Although, it's worth mentioning their niche seems to be their novelty drinks. They use beans from Hatch, that's a plus to me and might be worth the stopover when Hatch themselves is closed. There were a few iced flavoured drinks that caught my eye, so maybe I'll be back to give me another try in the summer. Personally, I don't think go out of my way to stop by, especially with how congested Langham Square is. read more

3.5 Quite a wide selection of flavoured lattes and coffees that you normally would not be able to get at other cafes. Located in the plaza so there is plenty of parking above and underground. They also have a point system using your phone number. Currently they do not offer decaf options but they do have alternative milk and some pastries for sale. We ordered the yuzu matcha latte with milk foam and lychee americano. The matcha latte was a bit sweet itself but pairs well with the yuzu. The lychee americano was really refreshing but a bit on the sour side. Will be back to try their other drinks! read more

Great new cafe in the Markham/Unionville area. The interior decor is nice, bright, and minimalist with plenty of seating available and one table. There are a variety of tasty pastries and cafe drinks available. Apparently their iced tiramisu latte is one of their most popular items so I tried it at half sweetness with less ice. The latte and especially the milk foam was super tasty, and at half sweetness it was the right balance for me. Service is very friendly and helpful.
