Absolutely LOVE their coffee and matcha! I went in February and tried their hot cream drop and cold matcha drop and it was so amazing. They make each drink with such care to detail and it is such high quality. I don't usually go around the area but when I was finally in the area last week, I couldn't help myself but to grab a matcha drop to go! Haven't tried their cookies yet, but I've heard great things about it and would definitely try it next time I go!

After much anticipation, I finally got to try the Matcha Drop from Coffee Lunar, and it did not disappoint! My experience started even before I took a sip - the cafe itself is beautiful, with a minimalist design that immediately catches the eye. I parked in a nearby neighborhood and enjoyed a short walk to the entrance, which only added to the charm of the visit on this beautiful sunny day. Inside, the space is quiet and welcoming, with plenty of seating for those who want to dine in, all bathed in natural light that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient, making me feel right at home. As for the Matcha Drop, it was everything I hoped for. The matcha is robust yet free of bitterness, with an exceptionally smooth texture that's perfectly complemented by the creamy top. Not only does it taste amazing, but it's also incredibly aesthetic and pleasing to the eye, definitely Instagram-worthy. This is what I'd call an outstanding cup of matcha.

At first glance, it's a pretty place with eye-catching drinks. But unfortunately, it was not my cup of tea (coffee?). The drinks were fairly expensive even for the area, but the coffee was mediocre. The shot was a bit sour for my taste. It was a very hot day and there was no AC. The doors were open, so the noise from the street as well as the loud music made it hard to hold a conversation. Service was mediocre -- the person seemed distracted and it was hard to ask questions over all the noise. Also, some of the seating is very uncomfortable (just like Korean IG-centred cafes) with low tables so that you feel like leaving quickly.

I've visited this place many times, and it's always crowded since many people come here to work or study. However, the male barista is often not very friendly, especially when it comes to making changes to your drink. I agree with other reviews that he tends to give off an uncomfortable attitude whenever you ask him a question. Most of the time, he just leaves the drink on the counter and walks away without informing you that it's yours.

The matcha cream drop is one of the best in Toronto Aside from amazing coffee, the place is nicely renovated, great place to study and a lot of influencers come here to take photo. Top cafe in Toronto for sure. Owner is nice guy also. Always keeps the place clean, and maintains quality

Regular size Vanilla Drop Latte (L) and Cream Drop (R)

Coffee Lunar is a nice modern café in the north end of North York on Yonge Street. They serve high quality coffee and also have merch and other coffee merchandise for sale. DRINKS (5/5) It seems their signature drink series is called 'drop' which refers to a sweet cream cold foam on top of the preset drink options. We ordered the Cream Drop (americano) and Vanilla Drop Latte both regular size and cold. The sweet cream is really rich, has a thick body and mixes with the coffee really well without taking away from the integrity of the espresso. I'd recommend asking for less vanilla syrup if ordering the Vanilla Drop Latte. AMBIENCE (5/5) The café is quite minimal with grey plastered and brutalist inspired furnishings. There is not a whole lot of table seated options, however the entire perimeter of the store is lined with benches. Weekends are super busy and becomes a bit of a challenge to find a nice spot to set up if you want to do work or study. VALUE (4/5) The 'drop' drinks were on the pricier end considering the size, but the flavours and overall coffee experience makes it worth it. ACCESSIBILITY (2.5/5) Coffee Lunar is located right on Yonge Street so is accessible via a whole list of buses to/from Finch station. Parking in the area is more challenging with limited street parking on Patricia St or via the parking lot in front and behind the Katsuya/Daldongnae (although not supposed to). OVERALL (5/5) Coffee Lunar is a great café to have on rotation in the area with great drinks, nice modern ambience, and decent accessibility. Will be back to try more classic coffee options next time!

This is the second store my dad saw article on singtao newspaper and we drove by before. Today we decided to check it out. The cold cream drop has a nice aroma and looked very nice. I ordered the lemon ginger rooibos, I find it too sour so nice time I will order another tea. It was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon. The cold brew concentrate was very nice and it came with a cloth bag. Great gift for friends and family when visiting!

Love this cafe! The service is okay, just don't rush, they need time to make such a great drink and worthy! The interior is modern and minimal, I ordered the Matcha Drop, and it was nothing short of delightful. The intricate balance of sweetness and matcha favour made each sip a true pleasure. Overall, my experience was thoroughly enjoyable, and I highly recommend stopping by for a visit!

We ordered two drinks here and came to work in the cafe. The hot chocolate and the matcha drop were both tasty; we would definitely order them again or try something else on the menu when we return. We received the drinks soon after ordering and we were able to find seating easily. The interior of the cafe is very minimalist, and it has ample types of seating for doing work or just lounging and chatting. The overall vibe is great for either!

So happy that they opened a new location closer to me! I love their new spot very spacious and cozy atmosphere. The interior is so clean and aesthetic. Perfect place to study or just chill with friends. I got their matcha drop and it was really good. Recommend it if youre a matcha lover!

Lovely cafe for girls hangout and will visit again for sure! Recommended by friend, the location is great and convenient. Tried their two drop series this time, love the cream drop with espresso. Rich taste with double layers you will have a different taste after you mix the cream and espresso!! Staffs are so friendly as well and will recommend how to have a better taste and experience of the drink. Definitely recommend

Great news! This coffee shop opens till late (9pm). Latte was delicious and latte art was amazing! Matcha cookie was delightful too. Other than cookies, they also serve tiramisu and basque cheesecake, which can be found in the fridge on the side. You'll have to pick up your coffee at the counter and bring the dirty dishes to the tray near the counter. Pretty much self-serve. The coffee shop was a bit stuffy on the day I visited. Probably because there were a lot of people and the AC wasn't strong enough. But overall a nice experience.

The service is consistently warm, and the pastry case is hard to resist. We've tried many of their cakes, and the blackcurrant queen cake is hands down our favorite--tart, elegant, and just sweet enough. Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. In fact, their croissants across the board are solid--flaky, tender, and buttery without being greasy. The sourdough bread is excellent, and the espresso drinks are reliably strong and well-crafted. It may look like Paris inside, but don't let that inspire your inner Francophile--the staff are lovely, but no one's following your French. Still, this is the kind of place that keeps regulars coming back. We're definitely among them.

The espresso here is excellent - well-bodied in flavour, medium roast (I think?), and pairs nicely with the sweetness of the cakes & pastries. There's also a wide selection of small personal cakes to choose from - just make sure you come early since they do sell out! We shared the cream & crumb cheesecake (simple, classic, and incredibly creamy!) and tiramichoux (think a tiramisu profiterole - such a fun twist!). Looking forward to my next visit already :)

Tim Hortons is a Canadian chain specializing in both coffee and baked goods, founded by hockey player Tim Horton and businessman Ron Joyce in 1964. While I don't go for the coffee, every now when visiting Canada, I'll stop by a Tim Hortons for hot chocolate and a donut. A few days ago when I was visiting Toronto, I met up with a cousin at the Tim Hortons at the Promenade in Thornhill, and while she got a coffee and a donut, I enjoyed a hot chocolate and a donut. We had the opportunity to order through a kiosk or in person, and we opted for an in-person order which included a discount through the app. The drinks and donuts were ready rather quickly, and while there was limited seating in the Tim Hortons itself, we sat in the food court area just outside of the Tim Hortons. The staff were nice and seemed to know what they were doing. The hot chocolate was tasty and chocolatey while the donut (a Chocolate Dip Donut) had a thicker dip than I am used to, but it was delicious! This particular location is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, and there is no drive-through option as it is in a food court of a mall. On the website (https://www.timhortons.ca), you can find menus, locations, catering and franchisee options, delivery, and promotions. Such promotions include Tims x Reese's, where you can get a Peanut Butter Chocolate Iced Capp or any of their other products made with Reese's. Plus, there are items with Fall flavors like Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp, Pumpkin Spice Donut, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Muffin, and Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte. There are also new Matcha Lattes. If ordering on the app, you can also order hockey trading cards and/or a binder. The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.

The…read moreratings were high, the photos looked great, and I figured it'd be a safe bet -- so I brought my partner along expecting solid coffee. After trying my vanilla iced latte and my partner's macchiato... I wondered if this place might actually be better known for food or matcha, based on what I've seen in other reviews - the coffee was not good. The espresso beans seemed to be over-roasted, which were quite bitter for our liking as opposed to something more subtly chocolatey and nutty. My iced latte also got watery pretty quickly as the ice melted it seemed, and ended up tasting more like the kind of latte you'd get from a fast-food chain (or the espresso shot was way too long). A bit of a letdown, especially since the two fairly small drinks came to about $18. The space itself is cozy, and I really like the vinyl collection (which earned the 2 stars). That said, the records are noticeably pricey compared to typical vinyl shops like Sonic Boom. A lot of them -- even ones with just Side A -- were priced at $55 and up. I didn't cross-check the barcodes on Discogs, but while I love the curation (especially the focus on Japanese jazz and city pop -- really cool stuff), I find it hard to believe all of them are rare pressings worthy of those $55-to-several-hundred-dollar price tags. As an avid collector myself, I wouldn't come here to buy the records. Service was friendly.
